501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is good for BTC on: May 14, 2016, 11:29:02 PM
i don't get why ethereum tries to stick itself with bitcoin all the time!

it is just an altcoin which is being pump and dumped, just try to enjoy the ride to the top and get out before it is late.

It's seen it's top.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is good for BTC on: May 14, 2016, 04:25:00 AM
Totally agree!

I have recently read a nice post (can't find it anymore) where someone stated that Bitcoin is rather a digital value storage like Gold, while Ethereum is something like oil or gas. This is the best explanation I have read so far and I agree to this. As a result of this, both are actually no competitors, rather they cross-fertilize.

Lol. Oil and gas are used and actually needed by society, ETH is just a shitcoin that nobody outside of crypto gives a fuck about.
503  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price to 600 ? on: May 14, 2016, 02:09:27 AM

504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: May 10, 2016, 05:48:25 PM
I don't know fancy chart analysis or terms, but all I can see is the shit can't hold $470 - that's pretty damn obvious at this point. So knowing that, buying any where near it is pretty stupid.
505  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: May 10, 2016, 02:32:41 AM
I want to see if it can hold $470ish, until then I'm watching.
506  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: May 02, 2016, 11:28:42 PM
De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da. All I gotta say to ya.
507  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: May 02, 2016, 02:46:06 AM
"I'm also holding because I think the bitcoin is gonna rise to a higher amount for sure, I really have the feeling the bitcoins is also gonna get a lot bigger if this happen.
A lot of people are now holding their bitcoin because a lot of people also know its gonna be a good time for the bitcoin this year.
This year will not not be boring at all for the bitcoin, I really have no doubt about that with the halving that is coming."

Why do most posts lately sound just like this dribble? is this a fucking moron, someone who barely has a grasp on the english language, someone trolling for jollies, or simply a spamming bot?
Also, to the original poster: update to satisfy our curiosity, please tell me you reconsidered and didn't hodl till now.
508  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will trigger the next bubble? on: May 02, 2016, 12:24:09 AM
Didnt realize you were such a defender of litecoin chesthing

I'm a defender of the truth.
509  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will trigger the next bubble? on: May 02, 2016, 12:05:46 AM
I believe that the hype about the halving will cause the next Bitcoin bubble, just like the Litecoin halving hype caused its bubble last year. I think the Bitcoin halving bubble will less severe than the Litecoin halving bubble because Litecoin is nearly all about speculation and Bitcoin is much less so.

What garbage....   BTC bubbles are always bigger, LTC bubble was a controlled pump and dump.

Yeah, like the last bitcoin bubble TWO AND A HALF YEARS AGO wasn't a controlled pump and dump. Fuckin stupid comment.
510  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will trigger the next bubble? on: May 01, 2016, 11:56:23 PM
Bitcoin price has already doubled the average last year's price, which is a good argument the halving is priced in RIGHT NOW.
511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: May 01, 2016, 12:26:57 AM
Seems we need to call in the exterminators tho ... the stench of parasites is strong here  Cheesy

Indeed. Except mat is just another of the parasites competing for a free lunch ... he's like one of those squiggly little round worms that you sometimes in the stool of children, and he's complaining because the tapeworms are strangling him to death.

Now if he and the rest of the parasites actually tried to contribute to bitcoin instead of gratuitous blood-sucking that might graduate to symbiotic level status.

You are just a crony holding free to you coins, nothing to see here.
512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mat-isms & More: Tales from the trading floor of the Bitcoin markets on: May 01, 2016, 12:11:08 AM
Roach, you are one ugly son of a bitch. I am sure external forces will make sure you a never in a position of wealth and power though fortunately, and you will certainly never be happy til you sort your shit out. Good luck with that ... it's gonna take at least a lifetime
You're like a broken fkin record ... could possibly be a bot, I'm not sure yet

Well, let's add that he obviously has no life. How long did it take you to create this thread COCKroach? If anything, this thread makes me feel sorry for roach.
513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Really Everone will PROFIT from BITCOIN? on: April 30, 2016, 02:42:48 AM
I made money buying Litecoin before its halving and selling after it rallied. However, its price continued rising after I sold, so I bought back in just before its price went back down. My losses were bigger than my gains due to my crap trading skills. I'm sure other crap traders will have the same experience during the Bitcoin halving, and lose more than they win.
So bitcoin can learn something of it's lessacessor  Cheesy
Litecoin halving made people lose out what they thought they would gain from their halving.
Sounds like a revelation of what might happen here with bitcoin.
This is too common a tale. Trading is difficult.
514  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did anyone buy some cheap Bitcoins on this flash dip? on: April 30, 2016, 02:24:33 AM
What flash crash? Didn't see any lately. Beside that, I'm not buying anything as I have completed my buying work when the price was sitting below $300 in 2015. That's how you do it.

So, you bought a bunch of btc below $300 and refuse to buy any more even though you think it will pump much higher? explain that logic.
Or, maybe you are full of shit.
515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Really Everone will PROFIT from BITCOIN? on: April 30, 2016, 02:15:14 AM
remember that if you're here, because at some point you have decided to dump and escape in your fiat warehouse, then you might not really profit from bitcoin

you should aim at using bitcoin directly one day, only when that day come you will profit big with bitcoin, and when i mean big, i mean really big, so big that your entire family's generation will live without working

Those words are hollow coming from somebody who doesn't buy bitcoin with fiat, but who "earns" bitcoin only. You aren't risking shit.
516  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Great Bitcoin Rally of 2016 on: April 28, 2016, 06:17:03 PM
Coinbase is leading this rally.

Probably the most telling sign that this is new money pumping the price, not just traders manipulating it.

I would like to know from where do you get the impression that new money is driving the price up. I can't find anything that makes me see a difference between new money and money already in the market.
This rally was led by Coinbase - the reason I say that it was several dollars higher than all other exchanges for most of this rally. Coinbase is the main way new people buy bitcoins, at least here in the states. It certainly surprised me this happened - and now that they take debit cards for instant purchases we might see more of these rallys as it just got easier to buy - before, you needed a credit card on your account to purchase instantly.
517  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: April 28, 2016, 03:55:14 PM
I just wish I had followed Roach's advice and taken a short out at $470. I think his advice may be valuable in the future - taking him off ignore.  Grin
518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: April 28, 2016, 03:08:25 AM
You are a shill with an agenda. I'm done with your sorry ass, put on ignore.
519  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: April 28, 2016, 02:39:41 AM
Good job nailing the bottom of this dip, Matt.  Smiley

It's more like the equivalent of him buying at $500 since he shorted twice on the way up and lost.  He's now a law of averages trader where he does so many trades, that eventually one is bound not to fail, which would be somewhat of an OK strategy if exchange fees did not exist.

Admit I was right when I said $470 was the top and it was going to go down. While you are at it, apologize for suggesting I was a banker shill who bought a legendary account - because we both know that's bullshit.

Yea right, you have all same 2 sentence posts like "the price is going to crash to 0 any second" that both the user Kwuckduck and Talks_Cheep do.  It's so easy to spot the accounts that were sold to spam the forum with because all their posts are identical.  Someone even solicited me wanting to pay $1000 for my account on IRC.
Matt, we've been pm'ing for the last 2+ years. Tell this asshat I'm the original account holder, if nothing else but to prove how off course he is. Nobody should listen to this cunt.
