501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 5 cryptocurrency exchanges where you can stake cryptos & earn rewards on: July 11, 2020, 01:05:44 AM
Actually I am not a fan of crypto staking because it doesn't really move me but however for those who likes staking i think for it to take place on exchanges means a bit of funds security is assured and the coins with staking systems are good coins which likely made the exchanges to adopt them. Also, there are risks quite alright especially in holding funds on exchanges but from the list, all the exchanges mentioned are top exchanges and therefore have their reputation to uphold which of course will make them chose only good coins worthy of staking. Lastly, one should understand that no exchange is secured and therefore it will look wise getting involved with what your pockets can afford.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning <$100,000 worth of the stablecoin were frozen in the wallet> on: July 11, 2020, 12:51:37 AM
Who knows what happened and if what really happened was enough reason to freeze such amount, this is where issues of centralization hits the bone, had it been the funds were in Decentralized coins it would have been better. I'm not standing with nor supporting wrongdoings but at least enough reasons should have been given as to why such happened. Also with this act many people will start being careful of stablecoins especially the centralized types as it has exposes the fact that by request from the government your asset can be locked.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 11, 2020, 12:37:11 AM

I think I will say it is 90% risky to invest in new altcoins. My own reason is none than the current nature of most altcoins Coming up, wherein they don't have anything good to offer, lacks adequate use case, some are even copied from those that are existing etc, so altcoins with this type of nature aren't good for investing or rather aren't good for holding long term. Also, what to know is, most of these coins pumps massively at the on set thus creating the impression that they are good but then comes crashing. So in conclusion I would say, if one really want to hold for long term, then major coins are good for that, while if one want to hold for short term probably for quick profit, then new altcoins can serve the purpose.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no ROI if the crypto is a stablecoin on: July 07, 2020, 10:09:34 PM
I think an act is called an investment when there is a profit or ROI to get from it, having this at the back of our minds we will understand that one can't actually invest in stablecoins because there is nothing to gain from it, that is no ROI. Stablecoins unlike other coins are just used mostly to fix or hold funds from dropping in value or price since they are designed to be stable in price. People should understand there is no profit associated with stablecoins and as such I don't think it's wise holding for a long time.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: July 07, 2020, 09:51:07 PM
First I do not know much about this project, secondly, you did the right thing by withdrawing your funds or assets to an offline wallet so that you will have control over it, what if you didn't? It would have been a different case altogether. Now that the exchange is hacked and gone just like you said, it is now left for the project team to look for another exchange to list their token and continue from there, but however this will depend on how good the project team is. Yes, for now it might have no value but once listed again, it will have a value, so you have to wait for it and also engage the team to know what next they are planning to do.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: July 05, 2020, 07:15:50 PM
I totally agree with you, what matters most is the quality of the project you promote. Some team can take time to develop what they want and thus resulting to a longer bounty duration and at the same time, some team might have been working on their project for a long time, and might just need a little awareness thus short bounty duration. Also, there are still cases where a project will have a long bounty and ends up paying when the price might have gone down thus leading to very low reward for hunters, but in the case of short bounty, if such should happen it will be easier to get over with. There are even cases where a bounty might be extended and the team will still come up with reasons or excuses why they either will have to reduce the allocation or extend payment. So most times one might not really know what to expect but yet studying the project is always the first step of been on the safer side.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A public chain born for DeFi on: July 05, 2020, 06:54:00 PM
Let me understand, you have been working on your idea for a long time now but once DeFi becomes the new deal, you now kinda improved on your idea to suit Defi projects? Well actually, had it been there is a draft on what you are actually working on, maybe it will send a better understanding to everyone. Also, on the other hand, it might be that you want to leverage on the hype of Defi to launch yours so as to have a higher chance of success, whichever is the case, come up with a better explanation on your idea so the community can understand if your idea is applicable or not. Lastly, just know that for your project to withstand the huge number of projects in this space, it has to be applicable and unique.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: July 05, 2020, 06:42:57 PM
Well to be frank I wouldn't say new investors are too impatience I will rather say they care after their capital and profit first before any other obligations, and to me it looks good. My reason for this is, many new projects nowadays can't be trusted, some are copied ideas, some copy whitepaper etc, wherein a lot has been seen to dump in price after listing and to make it worst, the team might end up not doing anything to change the price situation, so in cases like this, those who sold early will be happy while those who held ends up regretting and as such channelling that idea of dumping on other projects and the circle continues. But in terms of major or already developed projects, when one invest and probably holds it comes with little or no worry as the team already knows what they want, therefore in cases like this, one can talk about return on investment.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: For new developers and new projects team on: July 04, 2020, 06:32:21 PM
This is a nice suggestion as it carefully listed and categorised the exchanges accordingly but however the project team always have a mind of their own, that is, even if they are presented with exchanges for IEO by the community, they will still go for that which they want. But yet, it doesn't cover the fact that good team always want the best for their project hence why most projects try as much as possible to list on good exchanges for their IEO because they know that a good exchange is capable of helping them form a good foundation of growth and development for their project. Also, I don't consider any project having IEO on exchanges such as P2PB2B and its likes as good projects.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the market saturated with too many stablecoins? on: July 04, 2020, 06:19:50 PM
Just as there are many altcoins even in cases where there are repeated ideas same is the case with stablecoins, each of these stablecoins believes they can offer something better and different while in reality, they are all the same. In the case of USDT, yes it is the top stablecoin with huge number of users despite having questions which begs for answers; however I do think that why most people likes Tether is owing to the fact it has huge volume and if course hype. Lastly, yes the market is saturated with many stablecoins and I don't think there is anything that can be done about it other than being careful of the ones we associate with.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want the best for your new project? on: July 04, 2020, 05:39:35 PM
You want the best for your new project? I am strictly pointing at these exchanges because they are now intentionally supporting bad projects without remorse, these following exchanges never have any good results on IEO projects since last year's now

1. P2PB2B
2. Vindax
3. Exmarket
4. Bitcratic
5. Latoken

I wish these exchanges can just disappeared from the face of crypto space forever, developers smarten up and go for better exchanges unless you are a scammer yourself because these exchanges are now scammers den.

From the list I really think P2PB2B is the worst and should be ignored in any way possible. This particular exchange have a very huge questionable character ranging from supporting projects which are worthless and of course do not have successful IEO to the projects that are scams. Latoken is another exchange which I think is following P2PB2B back to back but however in terms of hosting bad projects IEO. So, all I can say is, people should try as much as possible to stay away from these exchanges because they are not worth the attention being given to them always. Lastly looking at these exchanges one will understand why top exchanges keeps maintaining their competitive advantage.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash A Better Crypto To Invest? on: July 03, 2020, 10:43:17 PM
First there are many things which entice people into investing in a coin, most times, these things might be gotten from self research or from reviews made by others but whichever way, there is always a reason to invest in any crypto. With this in mind, I think most people might invest in Bitcoin Cash because of this predictions which in my own opinion is wrong. This is because, price predictions of cryptocurrencies has always been met with roadblocks and it doesn't work, so I don't think it is worth it investing based on what the so called expert said.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers, the biggest crypto problem on: July 03, 2020, 10:35:00 PM
It is quite true about what scammers are doing in the crypto space and it is really not encouraging but instead hampering the growth of the crypto space because in one way or the other, potential investors will be sceptical getting involved. Also, these scamming activities extends to hackers as well, as they always deal a deadly blow to users. So therefore, there is need to tackle these bad eggs so that both new and already existing investors won't necessarily question every move they make thus being afraid at every point in time but rather having an open mind to possiblities that lies ahead.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to be your own cryptobank, earn interest, and cash out anonymously on: July 02, 2020, 08:17:04 PM
Be your own crypto bank and earn interest etc, with all processes taking place on a decentralized peer to peer system; well that's really or could really be a nice idea and also an attractive one because nowadays in the midst of this pandemic, people are always looking for ways to earn and maybe this will offer them a good alternative. Nevertheless, I would need to read more on this to know all I can possibly know because fraudsters are never taking a break.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have some funds to invest-- How do I make a good decision? on: July 02, 2020, 08:03:44 PM
With the many altcoins in existence now even with those coming up everyday, making research on the right coins to invest in, most times seems like a herculean task because some project team can go a long way just to achieve their aim which atimes is satisfying themselves. Irrespective of that, the prominent things to look out for is the idea the team is selling, that is, if the idea is workable or is a Solution to issues whether in the crypto space or in the outside world. Also, an idea can't be workable if the team do not have sufficient experience, thereby knowing about the team is another thing to look into. Other things which contributes in one way or the other is, the community and social media presence.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting back in the coin game on: July 02, 2020, 07:48:26 PM
Greetings all

So I have been on a hiatus from the whole crypto game for +3years (Other real life obligations, market crashing without me getting out, etc).
However it seems to be more relevant than ever to come back, especially after this whole Corona business and the money printers going wild. I think
an alternative is more relevant than ever.

It's obviously basically a full time job to keep up with this market.

So for now my Portfolio is doing alright, but what big news/adoption cycle stuff did i miss?

Is Hardware wallet + Google auth still sufficent for security?

I hear that you can make passive income staking via this new Defi thing - Anything more i should know there?

What is the new hot coin to hodl?

Any help is much appreciated in advance.

Welcome back... About adoption, the crypto space is still on the verge of that owing to the way scam projects are just popping up everywhere thus slowing down everything. Also, yes, Hardware wallet is still pretty much sufficient for security or rather probably the best in terms of security, in addition to that, Google Auth is still okay but nowadays it seems Authy authenticator is the best owing to the fact all keys can be backed up successfully. In the case of DeFi, well that's the new hype now and many attractive things are being said about it but however it would be better making more research about the staking system. The hot coin to hold? This is a tough question considering the rampant emergence of new altcoins, thus I still believe either BTC or ETH is the best choice.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading competition, a plus or minus on: June 30, 2020, 03:17:37 PM
To voice my opinion as well, I do not think trading competition affects the price of the token however the reverse is the case which is sustaining the price of the token for a particular number of days. If you notice, trading competitions always happen during the early listing of the token on exchanges thereby to keep a good trading experience at least keep the price from crashing hence the reason for it. As for those who participate, they are the ones that have good trading skills and as such their reward is always worth it.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes late bounties can still pay rewards on: June 30, 2020, 03:08:31 PM
the project you promote 2years back can still come up and give you awesome reward, delays takes place sometimes that makes project team keep postponing listing on exchanges,  imagine promoting a project in 2018 paid you big reward in 2020 after you've already zero your mind that it's over? I want bounty hunters in the house to verify this, true or false??

Anyways, do not underestimate projects you promote a year or two years ago, they can still pay up and secondly do not leave or exit their telegram channel no matter how many years it's been, if you do you might be denied of your rewards

What you said is true though, but it depends on the type of project and also the number of projects which results in this way is always small. Small in the sense that, only few projects team have the right mindset when it comes to the crypto space, some can go underground just to develop the perfect project they want which might take a very long time but won't fail to update the community. Also, most developers too don't care, once they have the funds they will keep giving excuses of working on the project and gradually the community will lose interest and thus perfect time for them to shut down everything. Lastly, I think once in a while it is wise checking most of these projects to see if there is a new turnaround.
519  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: register to this website? on: June 30, 2020, 02:47:49 PM
Hi there , I’m pop.
i would like to ask about this coin Bitcoin Vault . it has a high return of profit. is it a scam or not.
i cant find any pools to mine only two pools and its not available to use only if you register to this website[fun88

Thank in advance.

High return of profit? That sounds like some of the lines these Ponzi schemes uses, that is, most platforms which offers high return on investment with little capital always ends up being Ponzi schemes. Nevertheless, I have not heard of the Bitcoin Vault before, from the name, it sounds like a vault where Bitcoin is stored (sounds funny though) could be its use case. However, no matter what you heard about the project, make sure you are armed with the neccessary information before investing, because scammers can easily create a scam project, attach Bitcoin to the name to attract more people.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: so what to do with USDT ?! on: June 25, 2020, 08:09:43 PM
hi guys

am new here, but  i have been holding 0.95 BTC since more than 2 years now, just today am getting into exchanges and i picked Binance, i was trying to sell a small amount 0.0061 BTC through their Trading Platform, and i managed to sell it, but i was surprised when i found my BTC was sold for yet ANOTHER cryptocurrency called USDT !!! then what is the point am selling for  Huh Huh am selling to get FIAT in exchange, now am stuck with yet another crypto in my binance wallet which i cant store on my trezor, can someone advise on any reputable exchange where i can trade BTC to actual FIAT and then withdraw to my bank account ?

My second question how to go about this USDT i ended up with >! how to get FIAT in exchange for it ?? Binance P2P wont buy ur USDT in small amounts, they need at least 1000 to exchange to USD  Angry

need help figuring this out.

thanks,

The selling to USDT isn't by magic you were the one that selected it, could be you weren't fully aware that it was BTC/USDT pair you clicked on. Regardless of that, there is no issue as you can still sell back to your preferred fiat currency. Before doing that, it is better to check the list of supported fiat currencies on Binance to see if yours is among, if it is, then select the BTC/USDT pair again, this time around sell to BTC first, then sell to your fiat. The reason is, most fiat currencies have BTC and BUSD as their trading pairs. Lastly, to successfully, withdraw the fiat, you will need to be verified, that is, sending your documents to Binance to verify you.
