501  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 12, 2014, 09:05:33 PM
We need to keep getting some more people on-board and people with some good hashing power to join in so we can solve this block and keep things on average.  I understand luck is involved and no one should get discouraged as the pool has had some really fantastic luck, but getting some big fishes in here to join us will be huge!

It's getting tough to start a pool I guess. You need lots of people with 5TH+ now, and people with a big investments usually have been around for awhile and have connections to other pools and operators. That said, I'm really surprised more people havn't joined this pool with the bonus and give aways. I think s0br was talking about a hosting facility for miners, so we may be tiny until that happens.

Well overtime the pool will grow. In the mean time lets just hope we get the block broken.

@s0br, If its true about the hosting facility shoot me a pm. I may be able to help.
502  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: August 12, 2014, 03:23:28 PM
I know its august and that the sun is a hell of a great thing, but can we have something resembling an update please?

I assume you mean from hashfast?

At this point I will have to give props to BFL. They may be a year late, but they havent gone bankrupt yet Wink
503  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: August 12, 2014, 02:21:33 PM
I personally gave up on getting it to work with my hashfast unit and gave up trying to get the beaglebone black version to work.
504  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 12, 2014, 02:20:50 PM
Gotcha, Also I think the pool is mining with PPLNS or something like that. But it is not PPS. Which would mean with the 12.5% bonus its like we are mining 28.125BTC blocks. Which is nice.

Pool uptime is starting to become a problem too Sad

Not sure if anyone has noticed this, but if I stay login to the dashboard page it never signs me out. If I go to any other page tho I get signed out in about 2 hours.
507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoinity.org/markets - live bitcoin price charts on: August 12, 2014, 12:30:36 AM
While I love bitcoinity, I dont use it on my day to day. I use btccharts mainly as with btccharts I can have the program run as its own desktop application, and I can also have multiple charts show up which I think is one of bitcoinity's weaknesses
508  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 12, 2014, 12:28:06 AM
I personally come from mmpool, which has alot of merge mineable coins on it but block times are horrible. A 12 hour block is more miracle. Right now we are on a 750+ hour round and I tapped out.
509  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 11, 2014, 10:02:57 PM
I will cross my finger and hope to win.

EDIT: also I would suggest adding merge mining to the pool. Would help to make the pool more competitive with ghash.io

As OP posted one of the reasons for the bonus is because of the lack of merged mining at this point.

Sorry, I guess I really cant read the OP for some reason.

I think less then 10% of my posts are hashfast but I am not sure and I am not counting.
512  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 11, 2014, 06:50:52 PM
Well it looks to me like the last winner was august 7th so there are 4 days of currently no winners.

It very clearly states in the OP that the winners will be announced every few days.

All you have to do is read!

Sorry much have missed that line.

Damn, this should be a case for bitbet now... Will this round end before 1000 hours?

Yea that would be a good bet.

This could be one of the worst blocks we have ever got.  Tho it is a bit sad because overtime the longer it takes to get a block the more people start to leave which makes it even hard to get a block.

one day we will hit a long block and it will take too long and to many people will switch for the pool to be recoverable.

Just started mining here looks good so far.

I may have missed it but what type of payout is it. Pay per share, PPLNS?

Also do you post publicly who won the antminers3 each day?
517  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ZenMiner Updates on: August 11, 2014, 11:38:16 AM
Same got my free fury as well. Was a bit surprised I got it and actully thought it was one of those scam mails when I got the email about a free miner.

A bit off topic, but is it possible to change account usernames?
That would be something you would have to ask the tech guys.
https://zenminer.freshdesk.com/support/home

Okay thanks, I have followed up with them.

personally I dont think refunds check will ever come and if they do it will be for a very small percentage of the original purchase price. Personally I would rather get a few more units then a partial refund.
