As OP posted one of the reasons for the bonus is because of the lack of merged mining at this point.

It's cool man, I wasn't trying to come across sounding rude.  I was on my phone when I replied to the message.  It's in the OP of the message about the benefit of the 12.5% but I think it's still on the first page somewhere someone asking about merged mining and it was followed up from s0br stating it was also to make up for the lack of merged mining, but it is planned to be implemented at some point.

This pool has been lucky to hit a second block after finding one. But 12 hours is to fast to judge the pool on when it shows a average time of 17+hours needed. Also the .12% bonus AND a chance of winning a S3 !

Yeah, I do agree with teammates here that ~12 is too short time for expecting block hitting. That said, I've been curious since a while about how polmine keeps hitting blocks every ~7 hs average with 2.3PH/s and around 400 miners. Those interested could have a look at their stats: https://polmine.pl/?action=statistics . "Godzin" = hours. Reward is PPS.

Do not misinterpret my words, please: I'll keep mining here, of course! I really like this pool, op service and miners mood.

CORRECTION: polmine has frequent periods of 4+ PH/s which could explain the block hitting pace I mentioned above.

Just noticed there's a new top hashrate user with 800 TH. Is that another pool or single miner?

I personally come from mmpool, which has alot of merge mineable coins on it but block times are horrible. A 12 hour block is more miracle. Right now we are on a 750+ hour round and I tapped out.

I was mining at ghash.io before reading about this pool at organofcorti blog. It was added a couple weeks ago to his listings and the performance/luck impressed me, so I pointed the mining here. I've tried mmpool as well with the results you just mentioned. Some µbtc still pending there, haha.

Sheesh, World Hashrate just blew through 200PH like it was nothing today. Bitfury is around 15PH, third behind ghash and discuss. They weren't even on organofcorti blog 3 weeks ago.

Not sure if anyone has noticed this, but if I stay login to the dashboard page it never signs me out. If I go to any other page tho I get signed out in about 2 hours.

I presume you stay logged in because it is constantly updating your hashrate, etc...(it thinks you're there watching it), versus going to another page which it then shuts off for security.

That is definitely correct, it's ajax dashboard updates.

Gotcha, Also I think the pool is mining with PPLNS or something like that. But it is not PPS. Which would mean with the 12.5% bonus its like we are mining 28.125BTC blocks. Which is nice.

We need to keep getting some more people on-board and people with some good hashing power to join in so we can solve this block and keep things on average.  I understand luck is involved and no one should get discouraged as the pool has had some really fantastic luck, but getting some big fishes in here to join us will be huge!

We need to keep getting some more people on-board and people with some good hashing power to join in so we can solve this block and keep things on average.  I understand luck is involved and no one should get discouraged as the pool has had some really fantastic luck, but getting some big fishes in here to join us will be huge!

It's getting tough to start a pool I guess. You need lots of people with 5TH+ now, and people with a big investments usually have been around for awhile and have connections to other pools and operators. That said, I'm really surprised more people havn't joined this pool with the bonus and give aways. I think s0br was talking about a hosting facility for miners, so we may be tiny until that happens.

Well overtime the pool will grow. In the mean time lets just hope we get the block broken.
