I think we don't have topic about KNVB cup, so will post here. Huge upset happened today. Ajax got kicked out by 4th division (!!!) club USV Hercules after loss 3:2. I think it's not even professional club. Didn't saw what happened there, Ajax made comeback from 2:0 to 2:2, but Hercules somehow scored 3th goal on additional time.
Other interesting result is that AZ won vs Hardenberg from 3rd division only after extra time.
While best game of round between PSV and Twente got postponed because of waterlogged pitch.
502  Other / Meta / Re: Eli5 sub under beginners and help on: December 21, 2023, 08:36:23 PM
I didn't even knew what ELI5 meant until I looked it up on google. Lol, for me  Grin. I think there are also many users like me who doesn't know or familiar with this term ELI5. Not all of us are native English speaker. That's why the confusion.

On the other hand, Beginners and help board represents exactly what's written in the title name. So as you said, It's sufficient.

I also had to Google what is Eli5 because I didn't hear it before. Well, first of all I'm not sure that Bitcointalk is easiest subject to explain in this way. And maybe there is no need to copy things from Reddit because not everything fits here.
And finally, user always can add ELI5 tag on title when he makes topic in Beginners and help board.

And Bitcointalk is not allowed for under 18 people.
What? This is first time when I here such thing. Or maybe I don't get joke? Cheesy Anyway, it would difficult to detect that 5 year old kid using this forum, unless theymos will ask him to pass KYC procedure.
503  Other / Meta / Re: 2FA added on: December 21, 2023, 08:22:01 PM
Wow, I really can't believe what I read. 2FA. We were waiting for 2FA for so long and it finally happened. And it's not even April's Fools day joke Cheesy. We needed it a lot, huge thanks to PowerGlove and theymos !

In conclusion using the 2FA you have to be a kinda speedy because the code expires every minutes.
And I think it's ok, 2FA code should remain active for long.

Please do the world a favor and go poop on yourself. Since you have no problem when universities punish me for standing up for my own safety, you do not have any problem with Jews being tortured either. You are a Nazi.

Hispo was simply pretending to be respectful while internally being a violence promoting hateful flaming Nazi. Universities promote violence. You can tell that this is the case because they @#$%ing refuse to apologize.
After reading this and few other your posts, it looks that you're the only problem here. Everyone around is evil and you're the only one who is perfect.
You're literally calling other imbecile, nazi, wortless and etc and you still pretend to be victim and someone promotes violence against you. Dude, get some help.

What game between Monaco and Panathinaikos. Monaco give Christmas gift to their opponents. Okobo scored 2 with foul with 2.5 second remaining, but missed free throw intentionally. And then Marius Grigonis dropped 3 point buzzer-beater:
https://twitter.com/chrisalucard/status/1737567261051715784
Zalgiris was leading vs Fenerbahche for 3 quarters, but Fener took initiative in 4th quarter and didn't looked back. They remain undefeated at home.

Maccabi won, Virtus won, and Alba proved that Barca is in crisis with a surprise win
Virtus - Olympiacos was good to watch, Virtus had very solid 4th quarter and showed that deserve to be in 2nd place.
Barca is struggling a lot recently, loss against weakest team in Euroleague is great indicator of it, not really sure whats's wrong with them.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: December 20, 2023, 08:16:30 PM
what happened? is probably in Atletico Madrid heads after late goals by Getafe, and 3:3 as final score
all-in-all, three surprising outcomes last night, Sevilla winning easily against Granada, Valencia took all points against Rayo, both teams as guest
and Getafe reaching draw in late stage on top of that
Difficult to explain what happened, when Atletico was leading 3:1 with few minutes remain, it looked it's over. But maybe they gave too much control to Getafe that they even got chance to win game.
And yeah, yesterday all games had unexpected outcomes.

I watched the first 70 minutes of the Barcelona-Almeria match and Barcelona played horrible against the last team in the league. Even though they got ahead 2 times they still couldn't manage to maintain the score. There is a lot of time until the Napoli match in the Champions League. However if they don't manage to recover until then Napoli can get a lopsided victory thanks to Osimhen's having a good form as well.
Win that doesn't brings much positive emotions. Horrible game against worst La Liga team which are still looking for their first win. Not going to repeat about wasting so many chances to score again, but quality of defense is concerning too. 21 goal conceded in half of season when in whole last season we conceded just 20.

Two legs with Leipzig against Real Madrid, mmmm I don't think Leipzig really stands a chance against a side that has seen what is there to see in European football.  Even with an inferior squad, not even clubs like Man City could ne sure winners against them in a tourney format.

As for BVB at two legs, it's likely not gonna be 50/50.  I think if they play 4 two leg matches between them, BVB progresses to the quarter finals 3 out of 4.  But dunno...  Maybe I should look at these clubs more closely.

Yeah, Real is different beast in knockout tournaments, so Leipzig chances aren't big, but it's not impossible.
Not sure why you understimate PSV so much. They have 16 wins in 16 games, destroying everything in their road, just 6 goals conceded. Ok, Eredivisie isn't EPL, not even Bundesliga, but not often you can see such dominating performances. They had only one bad game in almost half season when Arsenal beat them 4:0.
508  Other / Meta / Re: Ruissian mod? on: December 19, 2023, 08:44:50 PM
OP, I understand your position, considering what happens in Ukraine for almost 2 years, it looks a bit strange that moderator of Politics and society board is Russian. It would looks strange if mod would be from Israel or Palestine.
But in this case, I don't see any issue. Xal0lex doesn't looks like one of Z-patriots, I haven't see him supporting invasion anywhere. He also didn't tried to censor posts which support Ukraine. Seems that he is doing his job professional and I haven't seen complaints about Xal0lex other than his nationalty.

@Trofo, @cryptofrka, who is to blame for that darts question?  Grin Damn I have no clue whatsoever and then I checked some bookies and some of the players were not even listed there. I thought this might be a trick question. Then I found a total overview for the odds to win the tournament for all players. But seriously, it didn't really help me. Does anyone here have a great source for darts questions?
I follow Darts World Championship for quite some time, but I can say that some players mentioned in this question is unknown for me. So, I just looked at their World Ranking and potential opponents that they can get.
A bit sad that that Fallon Sherrock got eliminated early - only women who can play darts at good level and I think she is first ever women who made an 9-darter.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: December 19, 2023, 04:46:26 PM
Fight in cup was very tough for me - 0:0 on regular time and 2:3 on penalties and I'm going to next round. It's already not bad achievemnt for me. I hope that this win will give me boost in upcoming league fixtures because I'm in relegation zone again Cheesy
Submitted my answers yesterday. Darts question was difficult one because some players that you picked is far from favorites, so, it's not easy to predict how they will perform. Love watching Darts on Holidays time - Christmas, New Year. Atmosphere is great there and would love to visit World Championship as spectator one day.

What is this? Sick? Married? Holiday? These are not things for sports fanatics to have. Though, seriously, I agree. But of course, for me personally, I would just submit blind as have almost done in the past. Works for football, anything else requiring searching for draws/schedule  like most H2Hs and it's almost like a lost case.

But I understand in many personal situations, even with internet, one must not attempt to go online. I repeat: happy wife, happy life.
Agree, postponed games would make things complicated and we don't really need that. It's already not OK what we have Division 3B. Everyone can have real duties, getting sick or married, but c'mon, answering 10 questions doesn't requires much time, it's just few minutes of your time and you can do it from any part of world using your phone. Maybe you won't be able to make proper research about question, but still, better than getting penalty for failing to submit answers.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: December 18, 2023, 10:16:32 PM
Wow, what an awful game for Pepe, he is probably main reason why Porto didn't achieved positive result. He simply couldn't do anything againt Gyokeres, he was just to slow. And when things doesn't goes well for Pepe, he ften lose his cool head like happened today and nothing surprising that he got second yellow card. And with one man down Porto couldn't do much against team like Sporting who had one of their best games this season.

It ended up being a good football game, with Benfica having a better first half - where they scored the winning goal. And then in the second half Braga managed to be on top of the game in several moments. I think Benfica's best player was the goalkeeper - much criticized at the beginning of the season - who managed to make 3 or 4 incredible saves. Braga also played well, but I couldn't score. In the end, Benfica won 0-1.
It was so strange to see Benfica defending so much in 2nd half. Braga deserved to get point at least, but as you said, Benfica goalkeeper was man of the match, making several deadly saves.

How do you like Europa league draw? There isn't many big games as teams which finished 1st in their groups skip this round. Feyenoord - Roma and Shakhstar - Marseille looks most interesting. I thinkj that Braga is most luck with draw as Qarabag is biggest underdog remaining in competition.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: December 18, 2023, 08:52:08 PM
Napoli vs Barcelona, PSV vs Dortmund and PSG against Sociedad should be most interesting matches in this round
and all three without clear favorite IMO

Inter vs Atletico should not have a favorite as well, but I don't think that those matches will be interesting, expect to see one-goal-takes-it-all matches

City, Arsenal, Bayern and Real should not have major troubles to pass through, although Leipzig could make things messy for Real
For current Barcelona there is no easy opponents. Offcourse, there is lot of time until games, 2 months, so, many things can change.
Agree about City and Bayern, while I wouldn't understimate Porto against Arsenal. Leipzig have chances against Real, not sure how big.
Inter - Atletico and PSV - Borussia is 50/50 completely. And as much as I don't like P$G, Sociedad kicking them out would be huge upset
514  Economy / Reputation / Re: Looking for a honest Escrow on: December 18, 2023, 08:43:22 PM
As said above, for such amount you don't really need escrow. Especially with current network congestion you would have to increase your budget just to pay transaction fees.

If people are not interested it is not for lack of escrow. For 0.001B, you don't need an escrow at all. I guess the lack of interest has more to do with the low prize money (1th Prize: 0.0006BTC & 2th Prize: 0.0004BTC) than anything else. Perhaps it is also a bit complex for such a small prize. Price prediction contests where you just have to say a number are usually more popular.
Wouldn't say that prize is low, I think it's ok. Bitcointalk members likes freebies, but maybe this one didn't got much attention because people are more interested in contests offered by most popular casinos.
515  Economy / Reputation / Re: The people on this site promote violence against me. on: December 18, 2023, 08:25:25 PM
I don't know what problem exactly you had with universities and I'm not very interested. But I don't see anyone promoted violence against you. You're blaming Hispo, but from what I see in his quote, he expressed his opinion respectfully. And you're already comparing yourself with tortured jews. Why do you have to put yourself in victim's position when someone has different views than you.
And in general, I suggest you to grow thicker skin when you're on internet and don't react to everything so sensitive.
P.S. Maybe Bitcointalk isn't best place to raise your issue with universities.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: December 17, 2023, 05:18:29 PM
There are some good matches today. The most important match of the day will undoubtedly be the AZ Alkmaar-PSV Eindhoven clash.PSV have had the opportunity to continue without losing a point so far.PSV have 15 wins in 15 games in the league and will be looking to make it 16 wins in 16 games. Although being away is a disadvantage for them, we know that PSV has the potential to get 3 points in this match.Although AZ Alkmaar has been in poor form in recent weeks, it can be expected to show a resistance against PSV.We can expect this match to be high in terms of viewing pleasure because both teams have no problem scoring goals.
Feyenoord won their game against Heracles so easy, 4:0 probably don't even reflect the game. Stats of game better reflect their dominace. Twente unexpectedly dropped points in Rotterdam against Sparta. It's impressive that Sparta scored 2 goals after one of their players got red card in 1st half. Ajax is leading 2:1 vs Zwolle, 20 minutes remaining, so, ending might be interesting if Ajax won't score 3rd goal.
I put some money on PSV, don't expect much from AZ. Maybe I understimate them too much, but for me they're not looking great and I'm surprised that they still hold 4th place with just 1 point behind Twente.
517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: December 17, 2023, 05:07:52 PM
Braga Vs Benfica
Braga lost to Napoli in midweek but will be looking to bounce back with a win at home to Benfica today. Meanwhile Benfica suffered disappointing draws at the hands of SC Farense and Moreirense in the domestic league which saw them drop off the top of the table. Benfica have lost three of the previous four meetings between the two teams. Today's match is going to be very exciting as both the teams have a point gap of 1 in the league table and are aiming for the top spot in the league. I think today's match could be a high-scoring draw.

Both teams haven't performed well in Europe, that can be said especially about Benfica. But at least both got in Europa league playoffs. My expectation that Benfica won't take 3 points today - it may be draw or or Braga win. As you said, Benfica in recent meetings had problems with Braga and in general this season they're not looking confident. I'm not talking about Europe, even in Portugal they're struggling with weak opponents. They don't play that bad, but wasting so many moments.
And tomorrow round will end with cherry on top - Sporting vs Porto. Difficult to predict something here, so, probably I will go with BTTS. Porto should be in great mood after beating Shakhtar and getting into CL playoffs.

Seems that I have all same answers with my opponent @Kanapka, so, everything will be decided on penalties in Lazio - Inter.
If someone watched handbsll semifinal between Denmark and Norway, it had epic ending. Norway scored last second buzzer-beater when score was equal:
https://twitter.com/ihf_info/status/1735733617723117707
You don't see such things in handball often, after all it's not basketball.
Final between France and one of hosts Norway today evening.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: December 16, 2023, 09:50:36 PM
Damn, Sevilla getting destroyed at home by Getafe 0:3. That's something what you don't expect tto see, but they're so bad that relegation is real danger for them.
Atletico loss against Athletic probably isn't big surprise. Athletic dominated game and seems that times when Atletico had elite defense already in past. Even Las Palmas conceded less goals than Atletico this season.
Finally Celta got a win - I don't want to see them relegated at all. And I will refrain from commenting Barca game, difficult to find something positive about it

Significant how? As far as I could tell Lauda was directly involved in one of the largest ICO escrow scams ever pulled here who lied about multisig and stored funds on an exchange. Plus HE was a constant troll who is responsible for chasing countless members from this forum over the years and always seemed to support the wrong side of every argument. Not to mention a confirmed extortionist who was fired for doing so… I guess that’s “significant” in it’s own way.
Significant doesn't necessarily should be from positive side. Lauda was significant member here who left their mark in Bitcointalk history and it doesn't matter  from which perspective you watch. And after all, you're quoting member who signed up here last October, I doubt that he knows Lauda's history in detail.
