Lol, Rolly Romero mad at Ryan Garcia and Oscar Dela Hoya. He thought that they have negotiations with him and Ryan fighting next. But as he claim, Oscar is also negotiating for Ryan to fight Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz.

Ryan has responded to Romero, so it's going to be interesting as to who Ryan will fight next. But obviously, it's not as what we wanted like Teo Lopez or Devin Haney.

For not having accomplished much in the sport besides winning secondary titles and losing to Tank Davis these guys sure act like huge divas. It's an interesting fight but it ain't that interesting. This should have been an easy fight to make. We know who the A-side is and both guys say they want to fight each other. The bickering on social media is getting tiresome.

Romero isn't some superstar and has been inactive a long time. He is reaching the point where people are fed up with him and any interest in seeing his fights is almost completely gone. Ryan might be able to milk his popularity a while longer but he needs to start fighting big names inside the ring rather than on Twitter.

Rolly's last fight was on  May 13, 2023, so he hasn't fought for almost a year already but this guy is a champion although not as popular as Ryan Garcia. I think he would be a good match for Ryan Garcia but so if it's a championship fight there's a chance Ryan will become a champion, so why not get him instead of pursuing Isaac Cruz which is not a champion.

I don't know if Ryan is looking for an easy opponent here but Isaac Cruz I think is better than Rolly as Isaac Cruz almost beat Tank Davis in a controversial fight.

currently it's -4 for Meralco.

Very tricky line, opened up -4, move up to -5 now back to -3.5. I'm not sure what's happenning here but I'm ready to back on the Meralco Bolts which is the only team for MVP in this quarter finals. If they'll win, they'll face the Magnolia hotspots,  while on the other side, it's SMB vs Ginebra (tough match up).

Good luck to all of you, There's still plenty of time though, game start at 6:30 PM, so we have 2 hours and 30 minutes to think.

I hope first 5 players are ready to play, this is a do or die game so they can't make an excuses, playing with inury is necessary as long as they can help their team to win.
503  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: January 20, 2024, 09:56:49 PM
Trading is hard and complicated, that makes it hard to succeed for beginner traders as they don't have the experience needed to win a trade. While trading is for everyone, but not everyone is able to manage and overcome its risks. That's why it's not surprising why majority fail but only few have succeeded. Without valid experience in trading, you can never make it last but will only enjoy first wins and then suddenly lose the rest of the trades.
504  Economy / Economics / Re: The world's logic favours income makers, not the savers on: January 20, 2024, 09:37:09 PM
Saving alone can offer you long-term security but it does not guarantee financial stability and success. Why? Because saving with fiat is prone to inflation, the more you save for fiat, the higher inflation will be. However, if you aim to save for future investment, that would be highly favorable as you don't save just to keep your money, but you do save so you can gain multiple sources to generate you with the money that you can now able to save for future needs.

While saving is encouraged as it creates safety net for future emergency needs, but investing your hard-earned money creates more advantages than just saving alone.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be a hope restorer if we go about it wisely! on: January 20, 2024, 12:29:05 PM
Gambling is good and can also restore person when your luck is actively shining>>>

This doesn't exist in real life. When we talk about winning in gambling, there should be no if,  it's either you are capable of winning consistently or not. If we use luck on this discussion, then we should not talk with small wins, winning a lottery because we are lucky would be the ultimate dream of bettors, and when that happen, we can proudly say that we are up. And with that, it can certainly restore our life since with enough money, we can buy what we want, do what we want to do, and maybe start a business so that money we won will grow and we will not be relying in gambling anymore hoping we'll win big time.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 20, 2024, 11:36:44 AM
Lakers again!

They lose to the struggling Nets. I don't understand this team, they can beat strong teams but could lose to a team that are on a losing streak. The way they are playing aren't even competitive enough, they start with a good lead but in the 2nd half, it's all Nets as their 3 point shoots are falling.

What I saw in that game is Lebron complaining a lot, he didn't get the foul and he continues to explain, and being the leader of the team, it affects the overall performance of a team. I think Lebron is the problem here, what do you think?
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know when to ride and stop! on: January 20, 2024, 09:18:55 AM
That is why it is very important to control ourselves in gambling for this would be the reason for undesirable experiences.

Control and discipline, that's the keywords of a successful gambling. Losing is inevitable, but without control we might experience the worst experience in gambling, and that is losing more than we can afford to lose. It's okay to lose, we know it will happen from time to time, but we should be discipline enough to follow the game plan, risk according to our limit only, if we lose, just call it a day.

Some of us are gambling even in the first place we can't afford, main reason is we aren't making enough money to live a comfortable life, so with that, gambling should not be part of our funds budgeting as that will only ruin our financials in life.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: January 20, 2024, 03:48:08 AM
And if by chance Ngannou's hit his mark on Joshua's chin, this fight will end early. And Francis as well show that he had a good gas tank, so if the fight goes to distance, he can still upset Joshua as Anthony's gas tank is suspected as well and in the Usyk second fight, we have seen him getting tired in the championship rounds.

Ngannou doesn't have a good gas tank. His mouth was already wide open as early as the second round. But I admire him for knowing how to save it. His style doesn't consume much energy. He's not throwing away useless punches here and there. So even if his tank is already running low, he can still very much throw his strong punch. And considering that Joshua has this problem as well, it's totally fine for Ngannou to have this limit.
His mouth was already from round one, so we can't tell if he was really tired starting from round 2. In fact, he knocked Fury down in round 3, that means he still have the strenght to throw power punches. Maybe in the later rounds he got tired as he could not defend well the jabs thrown to him, and IMO, that's the reason why he lose in that fight.

If Joshua was at the receiving end of that knockdown blow of Ngannou against Fury, the fight could have ended in a KO.

That's for sure, I completely agree with you. Joshua has a weak chin, so I don't think he'll be able to stand up after that huge hit, or if he could stand up againt he would still be finish in the same round if there's still enough time.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream business succeeded on: January 19, 2024, 11:59:55 PM
Congrats on your dream business mate. I have high hopes that you’ll be able to manage your business the best way you can. However, with regards to accepting bitcoin as a payment method, I guess it will be hard to make it work these days since the transaction fees alone are high and discouraging, but we know for sure that the market won’t be congested all the time, thus we are still seeing possible low transaction fees in the coming days.

For now, just continue to accept fiat since majority of the customers are more likely to pay using fiat. But still continue promoting bitcoin because that will create an awareness on their part that bitcoin is not just an investment tool alone, but it could also serve as a good currency option.
510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No one has gone broke taking profits, always take profits. on: January 19, 2024, 11:28:46 PM
It also depends on the potential of the coins we are trading. If we are seeing bigger profits in the next days or months, and we are not actually in a bad financial situation, then I don’t think selling just to make profits is advisable. Sometimes you also have to weigh things out, it’s advantages and it’s consequences so that you won’t be regretting later on.

I’m not against on selling your coins, but always know when to hold and when to sell. That way, you will be able to make a wise decision that you won’t dare to regret in the future.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 19, 2024, 02:58:21 PM
How about the Jazz losing to OKC, which snapped their winning streak?

I saw how good OKC is at making adjustments. Although they were able to lead by as much as 19 points early on, the Jazz came back to make it a close game. However, OKC continued to play hard, not allowing the Jazz to take the lead. In fact, they never led in the game.

They were young teams that could take their roles quickly when given instructions and one of the teams that will gonna probably play in the NBA playoffs this year. perhaps if they can only be consistent with this kind of play with the same star players these coming seasons, they will become the next Boston Celtics which will gonna be strong contenders and hard to beat at their home court. As for the Jazz, considering they were able to climb up to the number 9 spot despite their struggles in the early season, it could be that they will gonna stay at that spot unless they can improve their play when facing strong teams in their next games.

They were able to beat strong teams before their winning streak was snapped. If we go back to their record, we can see they beat the Sixers, Bucks and Denver. Winning against the Denver which is a defending champion is already enough to conclude that they are a strong team, although young and lack of experience.  A lost of OKC should not be a factor to conclude that they have no chance in the playoffs, this team are playing good basketball, everyone in the team are ccontributing, so let's be optimistic with this team.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: January 19, 2024, 02:27:44 PM
I think it's too obvious if they'll do the same pattern. And by the looks of the game now which is Ginebra is enjoying a 21 points lead, there's no way Northport will be able to comeback since they also miss their best local player which is Tolentino. There's still plenty of time, but when Ginebra is up this big, I don't anymore expect that their opponents will be able to come back, even losing on a single digit points.

Almost, if Northport were able to make their shots, they could cover the handicap as they are +8.5, so an 8 point win by Ginebra is enough for the bettors of Northport to win. I think the closest Northport had was 10 point deficit in the 4th quarter with few minutes remaining, if they were able to make one shot and Ginebra opt not to shoot the game, lots of bettors will cry.

So it's even, 1 for underdog and 1 for favorites that covered the spread.

Next game will be this Sunday, it's a do or die game for Meralco vs Phoenix. I think Meralco will win here as no MVP teams had advance in the quarter finals, reaching the semi finals probably their best chance only and it's going to be SMB teams in the Finals.
513  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: January 19, 2024, 01:05:46 PM
I think government sees bitcoin as money. Because if they don't, the massive amount bitcoins they had confiscated before would not be up for sale or auction, they would just destroy it easily. They gain from the bitcoins they seize, right? so bitcoin is money for them.

License is important because that will minimize the scam in the crypto space, of course no gambler would risk their money without confidence on the gambling site they are betting. The game now is not just about license alone, but it's already a must that a gambling site both have good reputation and are licensed by whoever provider it is.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying house rent with bitcoin is it appropriate? on: January 19, 2024, 07:33:31 AM
Whether you pay the house with fiat or bitcoin, that would always be valid since fiat and bitcoin have their own value. The only difference is that bitcoin has no fixed value and there are chances that it would increase or drop its value in the next days, while fiat always has its own fixed and stable value. So that’s up to the landlord if he also feels confident on accepting bitcoin, otherwise you will be force to pay in fiat exclusively since that’s the only payment system that is allowed.

However, the good thing about paying bitcoin is not only you are promoting bitcoin as a currency, but you are also encouraging awareness on the landlord itself that bitcoin could have a more profitable value in the future, provided that he’s also aware on how to keep his bitcoin for long term and safeguard its safety and security.
515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kindly Share your trading Stategy. on: January 18, 2024, 11:32:37 PM
You can share or copy other traders strategies most particularly for those who are highly successful traders but never expect that what might work for them may also work for you. There are still chances that your trading outcome may end up the opposite way from them, so never rely on others strategies but make your own and enhance it through testing it in the market.

Now, when it comes to my own strategy, I only trade when I think there is high probability to be in profits, but in instances that the market is quite uncertain and unstable, I would rather buy more and hold more, than to resort into trading and lose your funds instantly. Trading is not a do or die, so I only trade when I’m comfortable trading, either losing or profiting, that’s still part of my growth as a trader.
516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Drop to Zero? on: January 18, 2024, 10:53:07 PM
Leave as it is as it was also his point of view about bitcoin. But for crypto enthusiasts, we all know even if bitcoin drops to zero value, it will never settle on that but will surely recover again after some time. Although I still can't imagine if bitcoin will reach that point, but one thing is certain, as long as there are still who buy and sell bitcoin and continuously doing it, bitcoin value will never be stagnant but will continue to grow and reaches new all time high as much as possible.

A lot have been telling that bitcoin is dead and will end up going back to zero value, but I think the opposite thing happened instead. The more people question the value of bitcoin, I guess the more bitcoin will prove to them that it's value will always be worth and valuable.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever regretted selling your bitcoins ? on: January 18, 2024, 08:34:39 PM
It might sting a bit to think about what could have been if you held onto those BTC, but let's not forget the golden rule of crypto: it's a marathon, not a sprint. The market is dynamic, and opportunities are ever-present.
At first... I felt that regret too, but what you're saying is true. The past shouldn't be a reason for us to be afraid of moving forward. I did sell BTC at a low price, but the thing is, there's always a chance to welcome another day. Making today part of the past isn't a bad choice. Even to profit from the Bitcoin market conditions, there's still a wide opportunity.

At times like this, I think many people would prefer to HODL. Not just because of past experiences, but also with the upcoming halving, who wants to miss out on the bull run journey, right?
Everyone of us here might have sold bitcoin at a low price, and that is inevitable especially if we needed the funds so badly. But regretting of selling, I guess not since it also save the situation that time. Bitcoin is not meant to be hold forever, so you really have to spend it at some point so it will also serve its purpose, that is to enjoy our profits after months or years of long term hodling.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The PCSO Lotto is shrouded in doubt due to the picture of the winner shown on: January 18, 2024, 03:01:17 PM
PCSO has been linked to some controversial wins even before including those 400+ winners of the jackpot prize and I don't really have any idea if they rigged it themselves or what. I am bettor as well that is why I am hesitant to place bets because of this issues.

I could also remember this news, it's quite unbelievable and with that incident it's already doubtful if they still have that honesty in them.

It's published in the news before.

More than 400 people won the lotto in the Philippines. Some people just can’t believe it

Quote
A 236 million peso ($4 million) lottery jackpot shared among a record number of more than 400 winners has sparked questions in the Philippine Senate as skeptical lawmakers demand an inquiry into the results.

Mybe the Senate would really try to make a serious investigation on this as it's not anymore running in a normal way, it's pretty obvious that there's a syndicate inside just trying to steal the funds of our country. Or maybe the governmnet will think of ways to stop this, since it's not helping the poor, but only making them poor. If they want to raise more money, why not open the country for more foreign investors?

520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to buy Bitcoin is around the time of Bitcoin Halving: April 22, 2024 on: January 17, 2024, 11:59:32 PM
The best time to buy bitcoin is not actually prior to bullish or bearish trend, but definitely now wherein you have sufficient capital to invest and you have acquired adequate knowledge and understanding on the crypto market. Bitcoin is highly volatile, so no matter how you timing buying it, it will always fluctuate its price and still end up dumping or pumping high. Buy regardless of the price, using your capital that you are comfortable to lose. That way, you will never end up regretting whatever the outcome of your decision.
