502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Survey on Bitcoin ownership on: October 29, 2019, 11:46:04 AM
I live in Philippines and I can or actually gauge the number of bitcoin holder but so would say I know a lot of young people who are crypto enthusiasts in our country. I would also say only a little of our population is aware of crypto, but still the number of it is growing as time goes by.

505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TAKE A BREAK! on: October 29, 2019, 06:56:12 AM
Cryptocurrency can be stressful because it is risky whether if it is bounty, trade, investment, there is no assurance if you will gain or your time and effort will be worth it. It is true that sometimes you will have yo give your self a break and have a fresh start after a failure. That way you can remove any negative emotions that might also affect your decisions when dealing with crypto.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when a project fails you as abounty hunter or investor on: October 29, 2019, 06:16:05 AM
I guess all bounty hunters here had experienced this. Promoting a project for months, delaying bounty payment and in the end, it ends up a scam or even worthless. It is a risk that bounty hunters take when joining bounties and we cannot remove it, that is why we must review a project before promoting it.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Best to Safely Store Your Coins and ALTs! Bitcoin is treasure; Alts are too. on: October 28, 2019, 11:46:46 PM
Hardware wallet might have some disadvantage compared to online wallets, at least your fund's security is ensured, especially if you are holding a huge fund. And in case of theft or loss, as long as you have the key phrase or seed, you can still access your wallet through it. But still, the risk of losing the phrase lays on the hand of the owner. In the end either if it is hardware or online the security of our fund lays on our hand.
508  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Bounces Back Above $8200, Are Bulls Finally Here? on: October 28, 2019, 05:33:06 PM
The price of bitcoin had been crazy just a few days ago, suddenly dropped and pumped. However, compared to the price during the first quarter of the year, I guess the price is slowly recovering and increasing as the halving approaches. Slow growth is healthier than a sudden pump, so I guess we will see a few pumps and dumps once more but we will see the price slowly increasing.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Has Something to Do with Bitcoin's Price Increase After All on: October 28, 2019, 07:42:53 AM
There are a lot of big investors in China and I think a big portion of bitcoin is in China. They can affect and manipulate the price. I think the market price of bitcoin suddenly rose up just after their president announced support for blockchain technology. I guess China has a great influence in the market.

511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Inviting Do Away With The Investment Part First on: October 28, 2019, 04:13:03 AM
I seldom invite people to invest in a project because I don't want to be blamed if ever a project fails or if it runs away. It is better to give people an idea or your opinion about the project than to invite them to invest and give them flowery words to push them in investing. Whenever I explain a project to a friend, I give them the ups and downs of the project and possible risk and the potential of the project.
512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 📖 🌟 Trader's Golden Rules Book 📖 🌟 on: October 28, 2019, 03:06:59 AM
Volume may not be everything. Nowadays when volume is being cheated by exchange platforms, it is hard to trust the volume indicated. Most of the exchanges are reporting false volumes. And even the volume that seems to be the actual volume is being achieved only through the bots that are playing more than the real traders.

True, most exchange use bots to fake volume. However, I believe on keep your ears open. Positive news, statements, developments or announcements can cause market hype and can increase the demand and volume in no time.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 2019 over 40m cryptocurrency wallets have been created on: October 28, 2019, 01:19:15 AM
This is an interesting data, but the number of wallet that have been created doesn't necessarily represent the number of users since a single person can have or create multiple numbers of wallet. But still this is a huge increase of numbers of wallet that has been created in just a year, it still show a significant increase of the number of people who are involved in crypto.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Team and Cryptocurrency AMA on: October 28, 2019, 12:13:22 AM
AMA builds confidence and trust between the team and it's investors. I've been to some project where the team conducts AMA for investors to meet the team, get updated with the project and inquire any questions about the project. It is indeed a great tool to gauge the legitimacy and future plans of the project.
515  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: October 27, 2019, 10:45:12 PM
Just before big companies can use or accept cryptocurrency government approval or acceptance must take first place. So, I guess b that time crypto will be taxable or it will be treated the same as investment which is taxable.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement against people who say Bitcoin is a Scam on: October 27, 2019, 05:58:16 PM
It is their idea, just respect it. It is their loss and not ours, bitcoin can be risky due to susceptibility of being scammed or hacked, but if you know what you are doing you can lessen the risk of it. Most people who get scammed or backed are those who think bitcoin is an easy way to get money. They invest in anything that promises great return without checking it, the impression they make or have is due to their own fault.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project to invest. on: October 27, 2019, 03:36:52 PM
This had been discussed a lot of times. Most investors should do their homework before investing in any project and it is true that there are still some good projects. Reviewing a project before investing lessens the risk of investors giving away their money to sketchy projects.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC&ALTS price direct proportional? on: October 27, 2019, 12:51:39 PM
There is no specific pattern I guess. Just observe how the market goes, when bitcoin price starts pumping, altcoin price drops. This is because people sell their alts to take advantage of the bitcoin price hype. When the bitcoin price stabilizes people buy back some of their altcoins.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet list for AltCoins <100+ AltCoins Covered> on: October 27, 2019, 10:53:08 AM
This could be convenient for temporary storage and small amounts. However, if you are keeping a high amount of money you will be putting your funds at risk. It is not safe to store a huge amount in an online wallet or even mobile wallet. Better keep it in a hardware wallet for better security.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Update List Scam Airdrop 2019 ...... on: October 27, 2019, 08:45:01 AM
Airdrop is not as profitable as it was before. Now it has a lot of tasks and requirements and even sometimes requires KYC. Not to mention a lot of airdrops have no value or not even listed in exchange. That is why I stopped participating on it.
