1481  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcointalk's best threads on bitcoin's economics? on: May 12, 2019, 09:14:08 PM
It actually depends on your preference, there are a lot of good topics to choose from and there are also threads that makes no sense. Just feel free to scan thru the forum and choose topics that might suite your needs and taste. Enjoy your tine in the forum.
1482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most trustworthy International Exchange ATM... (Or international retailers). on: May 12, 2019, 09:03:36 PM
Most probably big exchange platform will not have a problem about that. You can still sell your bitcoin even if the price of it hikes.I think as long as there are people willing to buy bitcoin no matter at how much the price is this will not be a problem.
1483  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Old Android Phone as Wallet on: May 12, 2019, 08:56:54 PM
If you want to secure your crypto use hardware wallet instead of your mobile phone. I am really skeptical leaving my crypto in any online wallet esepcially in my phone. It is risky since I use my phone everyday and it might get lost (different in your case since you will not use your phone as you said.) But, if you really carw about your security better use hardware wallet.
1484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HTC releases smartphone in which you could actually run full node on: May 12, 2019, 08:49:15 PM
Well, I think this will only slow down the functionaloty of the phone, not unless if the model of the phone is really modified for this purpose which is the reason why it is quiet expensive. As time goes by maybe mobile companies might start integrating blockchain tech in their mobile if ever blockchain tech and crypto will be massively adapted.
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Just a Shady ‘Ponzi Scheme,’ Rants Goldbug Peter Schiff on: May 12, 2019, 07:18:01 PM
What he has to say doesn't matter. There are a lot of naysayers who doesn't believe or support bitcoin. Let them be, once bitcoin is fully adapted and accepted as it how was planned and created by satoshi, does who doubted it will be left out. If you truly believe in bitcoin and cryptocurrency, just ignore those people who are spreading FUD.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID SATOSHI EVER THOUGHT TO MAKE BITCOIN A MAINSTREAM CURRENCY? on: May 12, 2019, 06:47:46 PM
Satoshi created bitcoin not to be used as an investment tool but as an alternative to credit card or cash. Maybe, he did not even thought and expected that bitcoin's value will grow this big. The convenience bitcoin brought to it's users is a really great innovation created by him. People were able to save a lot of time and money by cutting of third party in doing transactions.
1487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safety Concerns with Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2019, 06:13:47 PM
That's one of the main problems of Bitcoin that affects its usability and adoption. The point is that we are used to all those 3rd party services that hold our money, no matter what we can do with our cards but of someone steal is and withdraw our money we would definetely get a chargeback. That's an important feature for many users. Prople just don't want to read tons of books about cyber security in order just to store their savings.
The best way out of this issue is establishing more legit services that guarantee the payback in case they get hacked.

Bitcoin doesn't also guarantee payback, the blockchain it self is not yet that secured. No system is secured, fiat, plastic money, cryptocurrency, any currency is not secured there are always flaws. Maybe what concerns me in crypto is security and also the number of people scamming other people and people getting scammed. Maybe mass awareness is really needed for us to be able to avoid this kind of stuff. If people are aware of what they are doing, scam or fraud might be lessen.

I'm letting you know now, that it is a MUST that you pay attention to the $cript because it can drop too quickly and may never multiply back up in profit again.
Don't be surprised when it starts going down exponentially, it has to do that for it to make a large profit, but sometimes it never stops. Be aware.

I'm going to be selling this $cript for $20 BTC/ETH.
https://selly.gg/p/fb8952cf
(It’s going to wait for one confirmation before sending an email)

This script does NOT guarantee profit, as with any gambling there is a chance of losing money - I am not responsible for any losses. No refunds under any circumstances, no sharing of the script.[/center]

Finally an honest advertisement. Been seeing people here selling their scripts with promise of profit and winning guarantee. Well, the price is not really that expensive, and I agree that scripts are not really meant to give you sure profit, but instead let's you bet automatically in a certain pattern.  I haven't used any script before since I limit my self when gambling. I admire OP for giving an honest advertisement.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question about moon3d.io on: May 12, 2019, 05:00:07 PM
Try contacting their support and developer to answer your query about their site. I doubt if any people here in the forum could answer your question, only the team can clarify your concerns. If you don't trust their site, there are still a lot of good and reputable gambling sites out there.
1490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is going on? on: May 12, 2019, 03:24:44 PM
Well, the hype is real, bitcoin price is starting to recover and no doubt that it is bringing some altcoins with them since most of the altcoin is paired with bitcoin. Well, if look at the recent price chart the bull-market started at the same manner, let's just hope this will be the start.
1491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recent Bitcoin Volatility due to Binance Hack ? Market Manipulation on: May 12, 2019, 02:25:37 PM
No way this is possible, How can Binance control the price of Bitcoin? Where did this come from? Whats price of Bitcoin to do with Hackers who hacked Binance? Where do you see the manipulation?

It is normal for the price to go up by $500 or more, if it can go down by the same amount in a day or couple of days, this is natural and that is why it is called Bull run.

Stop thinking negative and remember this - if the price goes down it will also go up and vice versa.

Cheers  Grin

Well most platform hacks affects the market especially bitcoin price. However, the recent security breach in binance did not even stop the momentum of bitcoin price hike since there had been a lot of good news coming out in crypto. Binance even rest assured that they will handle everything as soon as possible.
1492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitiLeaks reveals the identity of Satoshi! Also takes aim at Craig Wright! on: May 12, 2019, 01:10:29 PM
Bitileaks is an organization dedicated to exposing proof in the crypto world.

Bitileaks is also a new book outing Julian Assange as Satoshi Nakamoto. The book also mentions Craig Wright and his many Faketoshi claims.

If you think Bitileaks is here to write a book and leave, think again! We are going to expose Craig Wright for the fraud that he is! We are leaking documents soon to show you for who you really are!!!

Our tip to BSV; dump Craig while you still can!!!

I strongly agree with your statement that Craig Wright is a fraudster, if you are satoshi your self, you would not even put effort to claim your own name. Satoshi left no trace when he left because he wants to remain anonymous after the creation of bitcoin. However, claiming Julian Ass without any solid proof is meaningless, you should've posted proofs and your stand why you think he is satoshi. A lot of people wants to be satoshi anyways.
1493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone else experienced this with Stake.com?? on: May 12, 2019, 12:46:25 PM
I've had several instances of an incorrect balance being shown while playing at Stake.com. But it's difficult to tell how, when, or why the balance isn't correct. I've reported it to their support team on multiple occasions, but they generally make it appear like it's your own fault or that you just want them to give you something for free. I'm just curious if this is something anyone else has dealt with.

http://prntscr.com/nnhzhq

We cannot really see what's really happening on the picture, it says insufficient fund and your bet amount is covered with the pop-up message. And how is it incorrect balance? You have started an auto-bet, and the pop-up message says you currently have insufficient balance. Must be that the amount you have set in your auto-bet is not sufficient with the amount that you have. So, we cannot assume what really happened, care to share more detail, and you should've posted a screen-shot of their reply, instead of saying it here in your own words.

1494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best way to exchange bitcoin after RBI ban? on: May 12, 2019, 11:43:56 AM

A buzz was struck to the crypto community in India in late April as reports circulated regarding a proposed ban on cryptos. banks cut down the bank accounts who are doing transactions of bitcoins.

I think p2p trading in India is the best method to exchange bitcoin in India, there are several p2p trading platforms available in india.

What's your take on p2p trading?? let me know!!

I think there's no announcement regarding the ban, they might have been discussing this, but as long as there no announcement by the government you should not worry about this. If so, there's no other way but for people in India to abide with the law and regulations mandated by their government. Let's just hope they will reconsider crypto regulation rather than total ban, but I guess they are firm with their stand since they think that crypto currency is a Ponzi Scheme.
1495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Liechtenstein Government Passes New Regulation for secuirties on: May 12, 2019, 10:47:34 AM
This is good news. An outright ban would be horrible, but they are thinking of regulating it which is much better in comparison. I know many people don't like the idea of crypto being regulated, but that is the only way crypto can achieve mainstream adoption.

Would be great, since their main aim for regulating it is to improve investor protection and to fight money laundering.

I agree with your statement, there's no other way for government to accept and adopt crypto, not  unless it will be regulated. We cannot achieve mass adaptation without the government approval. Most government opt to ban crypto, would have been better for it to be regulated than to let it be restricted to it's citizen.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: May 12, 2019, 10:44:00 AM
I think we would see another amazing fight from Pacquiao but I think he is already old there are so many young athlete he should just give way to them.
Yeah experience would be his advantage but could his body go against a younger one?
It all comes down to his fitness at the end of the day which is why it is stupid to judge someone based on their age in this aspect. Manny might be old, but he is fit as a bull and can take Keith in my opinion. My bet is on Manny once again.

Agree to that, even tho Manny is not at his prime, he has proven that he is still a fighter to fear when it comes to power punches and speed. It will be a great fight seeing Manny fight a younger fighter. Would be worth watching.
1497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index on: May 12, 2019, 04:29:04 AM
I prefer to be in the middle of 0 to 100 Grin
I don't want to be too fearful or to greed in the cryptocurrency because once I do one of that thing, I will not survive and I will not make any profit.
But I guess that many people are in the fear and greed too especially if the price is down deeper and that will make them become fear and if the price increase higher, then they will become greed to chasing the bigger profit.
That will not help them if they want to be a successful person in the cryptocurrency because they always chase something without thinking about enough is enough.
And related to the chart, with the situations today, I think people become greed because they want to make a bigger profit.

I agree, a smart holder or trader knows how to handle and deal with the changes of the market situation. It's wiser and more efficient if we have prepared ourselves for the major events in cryptoworld. Holding and waiting for the right time to sell would be enough and there shouldn't be a place for greediness and panicking.
1498  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: If Spentrade.com is legit or scam? on: May 11, 2019, 07:18:33 PM
I also had experienced the same. I forgot the website but it was the same scenario. A guy from telegram was asking mo to withdraw his money and he will pay me for doing so. I noticed it was a scam when I checked ethplorer and the website seems sketchy. Do not entertain strangers sending you a DM in telegram.
1499  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Update on Binance hack as per CZ on: May 11, 2019, 11:51:17 AM
Well, it is to be expected in Binance that they will take fast action and update regarding to what happened to the recent security breach. I hope this time they will have a tighter security system since most traders are keen in using their platform due to the massive volume and it's convenience. They should really have a good check and take necessary measures to ensure users security.
1500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rising, Scams Rising on: May 11, 2019, 11:45:23 AM
This is not something new, since bitcoin was created it had been a way for some scammers to get people's hard earned money. Cryptocurrency is their best resort due to it's decentralization and anonymity. With it, they can easily steal and escape without even getting their real identity disclosed. As long as you know how to secure your funds and what to avoid in crypto for you not to be scammed, there's not much to worry. Just stay safe everytime.
