If I have the public and private key to a bitcoin can I sell that and convert to cash without syncing the blockchain?

You can just send your bitcoin to any exchange and sell it there and convert it to cash. Just choose an exchange that will be convenient for you since some exchange will require you to undergo KYC.
1403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest inside job fraud ever? on: May 15, 2019, 12:07:14 AM
Whenever there's a huge growth in bitcoin price we always speculate that it's formulated or conducted by whales, and now exchanges buying bitcoin. People has no contentment, during the bull-market everyone was yearning for bitcoin price to recover. And now that the market is growing, speculation, conspiracy theories are coming out.

Don't forget that there had been lots of good news that had came out recently that could've played a great role on the market recovery, the adaptation from companies and other financial institutions, crypto related events and developments, etc. Of course, whales always have a role in every pump. Let's just be contented and happy that the market is green again.
1404  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 10 Online Casino with review on: May 14, 2019, 11:36:24 PM
Any one please mention top 10 casino online with 100% reviews. So please suggest me casinos. It will help us and help other casino lovers.

As for me, if you are looking for a great gambling experience you should probably visit Stake.com. It's a growing and developing online-casino trusted by most gamblers in crypto-community. They have a lot of games to choose from such as: Dice, Limbo, HiLo, Keno, Mines, Plinko, BlackJack, Roullete, VideoPoker, Wheel, Diamond poker, and Baccarat. They have one of the lowest house-edge which ranges from 1%-2.7%.

Gambling had never been this fun since their team is active in giving incentives and rewards to their active players with their daily challenges. Not to mention the convenience in playing, it only takes a minute to create an account and they accept not just Bitcoin, but also different altcoins such as: ETH, LTC, DOGE, and BCH.

Feel free to visit their websites for more updates and information.

Each of us has their own preferences with regards to choosing their favorite or top online-casinos. I prefer playing in trusted and reputable gambling sites such as Primedice and Stake.com, both of them are created by the same team so there's no doubt that they provide quality services and fair casino games to their players. They make gaming more exciting buy giving their active supporters unique challenges everyday with generous rewards. It's one of the best gambling site I had visited not just because of it's games and prizes, but also because of their growing community and active team with regards on the website's development. They are giving their best effort to give their users a unique gambling experience and good community involvement.

Be part of Stake  and be part of it's growing community. Feel free to join Stake's Forum and share ideas, fun and exciting gambling experiences along with other active players in Stake Community.
1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Sites to use Bitcoins on: May 14, 2019, 10:49:52 PM
The lists should be updated and it should include Stake.com since it is trusted and one of the gamblers' favorite online casino. Aside from reputable online-casinos such as FortuneJack, Bitstarz, 777 and a lot more that had been running for a long-time,
Stake.com proves that it belongs to one of the most trusted and famous online-casino. Providing an excellent service and amazing gambling experience, it also gives their devoted supporters and community to earn exciting prizes and rewards thru their daily challenges and surprise events. Their team never stops from further enriching their services by providing and improving their website as time goes by.
1407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Faucet Bitcoin ABClaim.com on: May 14, 2019, 10:01:44 PM
Sounds good and you're offering a lot of bonuses and freebies. Your site is user-friendly as well but I'm interested in your lottery prize. I would register while it's free and I hope to hear more about your site.
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance hack, Self inflicted or it didn't happen at all? on: May 14, 2019, 09:08:10 PM
Nobody wants to get hacked especially Binance itself.
There are different theories and statements regarding the hacking incidents which blame and telling that Binance is also behind the incident but nobody can prove it. I guess hackers are just smarter these days so we couldn't put all the blame in Binance.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How important are VIP ranks and rewards to you? on: May 14, 2019, 08:37:00 PM
VIP ranks are just another marketing trick. It makes players think that they could win more, while in the end the casino always wins.If you like the VIP/rewards system,OK,it's your choice, but I'm not falling into the belief that such "features" will help me to become a successful gambler.

It's definitely true. Some sites offer bonuses and even Vip ranks just to look appealing and make players believe that they could earn better than usual players do. It's their tactic and once we fall for it, we could get deceived and hooked to it without noticing there we're not really earning good through it.
1410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: technical vs strategy on: May 14, 2019, 08:24:20 PM
The article isn't stating things straight to the point. If you're referring to technical analysis as a basis of trading, it would be confusing compared to the basic strategy of trading. We could all apply different strategies in different ways as long as it isn't confusing and if we're comfortable earning through it. We don't have to follow different speculations and analyzations that could just mislead us.
1411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitxmi. Have you heard of it? on: May 14, 2019, 08:00:06 PM
A few days ago I found bitxmi.

Registrant State/Province: Antwerpen
Registrant Country: BE

http://whois.domaintools.com/bitxmi.com

https://scamscavenger.tech/projectinfo?project=bitxmi.com

see the comments on the website. I do not know are true or not. But I suggest you stay away from this site.

It's actually true and the said exchange isn't working anymore. There are lots of scam accusations about it so you better get rid of it. If you're looking for an exchange, you better look for a reputable one. Don't risk your funds in an exchange with bad records.
1412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Network: Can it be the next level of business form? on: May 14, 2019, 07:12:43 PM
That strategy could work but it's not profitable as I think. I even find it risky. Honestly, I believe that Lightning network could go more than its current function but I don't see it as a way of transacting using smaller payments. It could only work for larger transactions. The services that it offers has really an edge and I'm sure that it would develop even more.
1413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a decent crypto blog on: May 14, 2019, 06:55:22 PM
NewsBTC, Coindesk, Bitcoin News and Reddit are some of the blogs that I'm following and reading. You could really gain more information about the latest news and happenings about cryptocurrency through reading. I always keep myself updated through these sites so I could make a good decision regarding trading and investing.
1414  Economy / Speculation / Re: When bitcoin will come out on the market before the launch to the moon on: May 14, 2019, 06:39:38 PM
I see the increase in Bitcoin price as a positive thing because we have waited for it for such a long time. It's good to see that the market is finally recovering after its downfall. As for me, there's nothing wrong in speculating that the market could possibly start falling but I just want to focus on the possible changes that could make everyone gain a good profit before such thing happens.
1415  Other / Off-topic / Re: Solar panels possiblities on: May 14, 2019, 06:24:40 PM
Solar panels could really help reduce the energy consumption of most businesses even mining but there are still things that we should consider upon switching to it. Some areas and location couldn't support the energy supply needed for solar panels and it's quite expensive to maintain it. I just wish that some areas would switch to it to conserve and reduce the energy consumption.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Revealed in 21 Minutes (James Harris Simons exposed is my guess) on: May 14, 2019, 06:10:33 PM
I wonder why they have to keep pushing people to dig deeper about Satoshi when it's really his choice to keep things in private. It's just another way of fooling people so we should not fall for this kind of trap. They're just misleading people to unnecessary things.
1417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to withdraw from BLOCKCHAIN on: May 14, 2019, 05:58:13 PM
I am ok to send photos of my id or passport, I just dont want to make video calls like it is on bitspanda

Try out LocalBitcoins[1]. You can look for buyers and sellers that use the local currency whatever country you're in right now. Just make sure to check the reputation of the buyer or sellers you're transacting with, and make sure they're trustworthy enough.

Yes, you should choose a trusted person to avoid getting scammed. It's good to do peer to peer selling but you should be wise upon choosing a person to transact with. That's the role of Kyc as well. It's for security purposes of every transaction too.
1418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WERE YOUR STOLEN BITCOINS EVER RETURNED???? on: May 14, 2019, 05:05:18 PM
Honestly, I have been scammed before as well. Scammer's intention is to steal our earnings which is a hilarious thing. The sad thing is we can't get back our earnings once they have stolen it. That's their nature so we must get rid of them. Their main goal is to steal the earnings of others.
1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does blockchain have an impact on SM? What d u think? on: May 14, 2019, 03:58:17 PM
If we'll talk about the previous situation of cryptocurrency, Social media has a very big impact on it especially on blockchain advertisements and Ico endorsements. However, we have found out that without the influence of social media, blockchain could still continue soaring. When social media apps have banned cryptocurrency, it still stood firm and still getting better right now.
1420  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price and Binance on: May 14, 2019, 03:33:02 PM
As for me, it has nothing to do with Binance. It's just that there's a high demand in the market. Bitcoin is already resistant to controversies and it doesn't depend or rely on any exchange like binance. The market has just continue recovering and it's a good thing for most holders.
