1501  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Idea needed for my situation on: May 11, 2019, 09:51:57 AM
I have around 5k+ USD worth of bitcoins and ethereum in my personal wallet. I have some financial commitments in next 2 months, so I want to utilize this money make it as something higher that amount I am holding.

I am planning to take that fund to binance and convert half of the bitcoins as USDT and half portion as BNB?
Will it be work bigger in some weeks or months? Then deposit and withdraw are suspended on Binance, so which exchange will be I need to choose to do the same idea above!

Please give me the best suggestion which you feel good for my situation.

Nobody knows what will the price be. You have a financial obligation in the next 2 months, which means that is not your spare money. It is not a good idea to gamble your money in trading. Use only the amount you are willing to spare and lose, trading does not assure profit.
1502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN THE ONLY KING, NO DISPUTE on: May 11, 2019, 08:53:26 AM
That is why it's the best and most trusted coin of all time. Investors aren't afraid of buying and purchasing it knowing that it won't fail as an investment. It's gaining a higher percentage of reputation and trust because of its activeness. Bitcoin ks incomparable to any coin and that's what makes it the king of cryptocurrency.
1503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally $200 billion total Marketcap is achieved. on: May 11, 2019, 08:13:27 AM
If so, then we should have our own preparation for this. I'm sure that most of us have accumulated bitcoin during the bear market. It's just really unexpected that the price could rise that fast. Who knows, we might wake up with a higher price. Better hold and wait for the best profit that we could gain.
1504  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sent money to old deposit address - Cryptopia refuses to deposit it on: May 10, 2019, 11:47:57 PM
Hello! I successfully deposited Litecoin 3 times to address LNonYyjqv26DWzZPCpYsaquuxXJT9XGCiH. 17 d ago  I sent another deposit 12.90700351 LTC. It was not deposited. When I contacted Cryptopia I was informed that
Quote
Following the events of January 14th the Cryptopia website was placed in maintenance to prevent any further issues from arising. Any users who sent deposits more than 24 hours after we announced the security breach (15/01/2019 12:00AM NZT) will not be recovered.  This means that if you sent funds after 16/01/2019 12:00AM NZT we will not be recovering those funds for you.
I wonder, why Cryptopia can not refund that LTC, if they have private keys?

You should've checked the website or read updates about the site first before depositing to an exchange. If they have made an announcement about it, then you should just say good buy to your deposits. You should've read an update since they have been hacked.
1505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even former bears are switching sides on: May 10, 2019, 11:39:15 PM
It's normal to switch, especially in crypto, people switches sides depending on where will their funds be safe or where will they have profit. Accept it or not, most of us are after the money we can get from cryptocurrency trading and investing. So, we ride along with what would bring us more money. I stay away from the market when it is bearish and go all out whenever it's time to accumulate and wait for the bear-market.
1506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin the future or just a precursor on: May 10, 2019, 11:35:23 PM
sometime in 2017 I joined the crypto space . I started out with faucets and other freebies which were the rave of the moment as of 2017. My first use of bitcoin to perpetuate transaction left me amused. The ability to perpetuate operations with people from all over the world without any form of geographical legislation or censorship, at low cost and without exorbitant fees often associated with other means of remittance I.e western union really endeared me to bitcoin..
My love for the bitcoin network was short lived because as the valuation of the bitcoin currency continued to rise, so also the adoption and utilization of bitcoin. This rise in use brought about expensive transactions fee and delay in confirmation of transactions. In my opinion, at some point, it was even worse than the traditional finance and remittance system of the world... Then I tried out the Ethereum blockchain and I was immediately astonished by its durability and high transaction performance but likewise increased usage of the ethereum blockchain and its exceptional support for tokens brought about clogging and sad decline in performance as at then..
Then I had to reconsider using bitcoin for my transactions, especially with the lighting network.. Well the market has gradually began to show signs of an uptrend and it's expected that more users join the bitcoin network?Do you still see bitcoin as the future of blockchain payment and  remittance or is it just a precursor to another blockchain startup which will shake the finance and remittance system of the world?
Feel free to share your thoughts and in-depth analysis of the subject matter..

Well, there's no perfect technology. You cannot expect something to be perfect when it pops-up, the problem with bitcoin scalability is slowly being solved by developers which where they came up with lightning network. Technology is a continuous development, so if ever a problem exists, people will continue to find solution. I still see cryptocurrency as an alternative to fiat regardless if sometimes there might be high fees or problem with confirmation of transaction, it will still be more convenient than using banks.
1507  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can I make a bank account with fiat? when I have no fiat? on: May 10, 2019, 11:29:58 PM
In our country, some banks (only selected few) accepts bitcoin as a deposit, they also process bitcoin withdrawal. Banks really require IDs for you to open an account, so you actually have no choice but to find money for you to get all the requirements to open a bank account. This is most likely the reason why cryptocurrency is one of the best alternative, imagine if you could've paid your fine right away with bitcoin, you would've no further problem.  Grin
1508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New billionarie list if bitcoin exploded on: May 10, 2019, 09:09:55 PM
They might be holding those huge number of Bitcoins because they have invested since 2009 which we have missed. We still got the chance to be like them but the difference is we still have to work for it since a single bitcoin now has a bigger value compared to the price when they have bought theirs.
1509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poker & Bitcoin on: May 10, 2019, 08:31:04 PM
With or without wearing the signature of Stake, I would still recommend it. Based on my experience, I have never found a trusted site like Stake. You don't have to deposit because they offer a Bitcoin and Ethereum faucet which you can take as an advantage to try out the games and services that they have. It's user-friendly and you will be guided as a beginner.
1510  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: can blockchain.com be hacked? on: May 10, 2019, 06:33:21 PM

Probably. Anything online can be hacked, it may be in a different way like if there is someone in their office who suddenly got crazy and stolen funds in it. Or someone who is eats and breathes how to penetrate their servers, I always believe the security expert who said everything that is online and are on the live server can be hacked.

I certainly agree with you. Even if we say that every site or even exchanges comply with the security measures needed, it isn't still %100 safe and secured. The technology is getting more advanced and hackers are getting smarter and skilled so we have to be observant and careful with our funds all the time.
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ITO] EXBEGA - EXchange, BEtting and GAmbling on: May 10, 2019, 05:32:27 PM
Looks like you have a reputable team. I could also see that Exbega is mobile and user-friendly. I can't wait to see more developments and improvements because it seems like another great exchange and betting site. I would keep updated and wait until you launch it.
1512  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $6K, BUY OR SELL on: May 10, 2019, 05:02:25 PM
Better buy now and hodl but the decision still lies in you. Selling would always rely on how much you need it. Buying would rely on if you still want a good profit in the future or not. It's all up to you but all I can say is we must take advantage of every market situation rather than panicking.
1513  Economy / Speculation / Re: the bull run is confirmed. on: May 10, 2019, 04:33:09 PM
We couldn't conclude that the bull run is actually happening but what I'm sure of is the market is getting better these days. It's an advantage for crypto enthusiast who is hoping for a profitable market again. The market is unpredictable though there are lots of speculations roaming around. I believe that better days are coming for us.
1514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beating HODL by 22+% on: May 10, 2019, 03:51:05 PM
I think it would only work depending on the coin that you're holding. It's a risky strategy but I guess it would work well for Bitcoin. However, if you'll focus on trading every hour, it wouldn't be profitable as always. I would still prefer a long term hold. I won't risk my holdings just to gain better in such a short period of time.
1515  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance case shows that crypto community is stronger than ever on: May 10, 2019, 02:55:41 PM
Users understanding about cryptocurrency, its capability and resistance to different issues is getting broader. It's an advantage because the community unites and they know how to deal with these incidents. We all know what to defend and I guess it's an improvement and an indication that we are also ready to face bigger problems in crypto world.
1516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome Back to $6k Bitcoin! on: May 10, 2019, 02:29:40 PM
I was really surprised and I have never thought that Bitcoin could reach $6000 this month. Bitcoin is really surprising and it never fails our expectations. I think it's the best time for us to hold tight to our hodlings and wait for the better days that are yet to come in crypto world. If it's really the start of the bull run, then we're on the right track.
1517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bill to Ban Buying All Cryptocurrencies on: May 10, 2019, 11:23:32 AM

They are scared of crypto taking over traditional currency and tax payment.  Grin They cannot just accept the fact that cryptocurrency had given financial freedom to people, and that the government it self cannot take advantage of it since it is decentralized and not controlled by anyone. Of course, the government is threatened that people will take their power as the government if people will continue to support crypto.
1518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rises very fast! on: May 10, 2019, 10:34:39 AM
Probably due to Fidelity allowing their customers to trade crypto which will help more institutional investors join this ever growing market. The good thing is that negative news like the Binance hack and Tether controversy did not faze it too much and it continues growing organically.

Maybe it's because of positive news coming out about crypto recently, cryptocurrency/blockchain tech being adapted and tested by some financial institutions, cryptocurrency development, and a lot more caused the steady growth of the market. I agree that even with the FUD and recent attack on binance and tether issue did not even affect the market with a big impact.

The growth of bitcoin is not as fast as compared to the recent bull-market, but the current growth of bitcoin is more realistic and I think it more sustainable compared when it rises in a fast-pace.
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UKGC-licensed casinos now stricter in verifying players' age & identity on: May 10, 2019, 09:16:54 AM
One of the reasons why gamblers like playing on gambli g sites which doesn't rrquire KYC is the age restriction. I know a lot of minor who plays online gambling in our country, tho it is also prohibited in our country, it's actually easy for them to access and gamble due to this.

We might not agree with KYC procedure, however, this might help peole who are not of legal age not to learn and be addicted in gambling at a very young age.
