501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Online Casinos Publish Their Bankroll? Your Thoughts? on: March 15, 2024, 02:14:01 PM

Let's start a discussion and delve into the pros and cons of this proposal. Your insights and opinions are greatly appreciated!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
This is an online gambling platforms where attacks are evident if there are leaks on sensitive information like this and how they implement their security, I don't think any casinos even the big one will let its assets or bankroll exposed, they can only do this on agencies that monitor their compliancy.

There are other ways to prove how big the casino is, like their marketing budget, huge payouts and they can sponsors big events, not to the point that will lead to targeting sensitive information like their bankroll.

PS Please refrain from personal attacks and insulting me or any other member as this is a serious issue and should be discussed accordingly.
This is a very good discussion there's nothing in your post that will make members attack you, or make it personal.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is Legal In Our Country But if You Promote It Online You'll Go To Jail? on: March 15, 2024, 12:31:30 PM
Many content creators are making a lot of money from promoting these online casinos through deceptive marketing, the payout is $1k to $2k per stream or promotion on their content, I always unsubscribe content creators that I followed because of their deceptive marketing.

It becomes alarming because there are a lot of minors on social media, and the scheme is they show their content in the first minute of their video, and in the last minute of their video, they will show gambling content and entice people to use their code to join.
These are the target of this bill and hopefully, it will help minors from getting hooked on gambling because of these content creators.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is really unexpected on: March 15, 2024, 10:52:31 AM

Due to these winnings, I might stay playing on this website a little longer. I feel like my luck hasn't run out yet.

For some who recently had an unexpected experience or winnings in gambling, kindly share yours to inspire those who think they are unlucky in gambling.

Disclaimer: I am not part of the BC game team, this is also not to advertise them but simply to give specific information about my story.

Winning in gambling comes in an unexpected way and at unexpected times, there was a time that I was playing in a casino for over a month I will not mention the casino there's no need to mention it, I kept losing however I tried to win, then I tried playing in a newly launched casino I was awed because I have a whole week of winning, all my losses from the other casinos I regain on this new casino.

There's no way to know where you're going to be lucky or when you will get lucky so it's better to try and look for your lucky spot but be sure that you're enjoying first, before trying to profit.
I believe that this thread is based on your experience bro.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 14, 2024, 03:44:53 PM
I think a lot of boxing fans who are expecting to see prime Mike Tyson. I don’t think Mike Tyson has that fury in him anymore, I have watch his podcasts, he’s a very different man now. The only advantage he has in this match is his power punch, which I believe will knock out Jake Paul if he is hit. Even though I do not like Jake Paul and his approach to the sport, I do think he is a decent boxer. He’s young and quick on his feet, and will be able to avoid getting hit by Mike Tyson.

We all admired Tyson during his warrior days, back in those days he was wild and no one could stand in front of him, if Jake Paul fought a Tyson of the old days, he would be demolished like what he did against Spinks and, Jake Paul is so lucky that he is fighting an old Tyson.
Jake Paul is considered an opportunist for fighting Tyson when Tyson is 60 years and past his prime and Jake Paul is now in his prime, they are both going to make money here but I hope Tyson can still keep up with a younger, hungrier and opportunist Jake Paul, anyway, I looked at it, it's not fair.

505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Create a player list of rights on: March 14, 2024, 02:44:33 PM
Even if there are player's list of rights it's the casino terms and rules that should be followed you cannot hold onto your rights that were created by a third party if you are violating the terms of the casino.
If you're using a platform you are bound by its terms, policy, and rules, you cannot impose you're rights in a casino the terms are set up to protect their platforms.

Our guarantee to prevent abuse by these casinos is to report their actions online like the scam section here in Bitcointalk and on review sites like AskGambler or CasinoGuru, these are credible platforms that will make their reputation bad, and if there are good reports, the gambling community will avoid these casinos.

506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws? on: March 14, 2024, 01:27:48 PM
legality of online crypto-gambling in countries like the UAE or Saudi Arabia, where traditional gambling is illegal, is a complex issue.
Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws?

It's not a complex issue, Saudi Arabia and the UAE are Muslim countries so gambling is illegal in these countries I don't know how it becomes complex to you it is clearly stated in their religion and some laws govern that.

Quote
It is important to understand that Islam is the official religion of the country, pursuant to the Constitution of the UAE.  Gambling is prohibited in Islam, and this forms the basis for the federal and local emirate laws that prohibit all forms of gambling, as well as the advertising of any form of gaming.

Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws?
If there are no laws but the culture treats gambling as taboo then it is better to not gamble, this is to respect your culture if you are a resident, you don't want to be treated indifferently by your people, so you have to be sensitive on the people around you, if there are no gambling laws but you want to gamble do so discreetly, you should be sensitive on your culture and the people around you.
507  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How do I tell people about my crypto escrow services/server? on: March 14, 2024, 12:15:03 PM
Here's my question: how do I tell people about my escrow service? How do I get people to do the first "leap of trust" that will lead them to know my service is legit?

Talk to your family and friends about it.  If they are not into bitcoin, ask them to talk to their friends about it.  If you offer a good service, they will start using it.  Smiley

Yes, I agree Reputation, trust, and testimony are what will launch your service, escrow service relies on trust and reputation and you can start with those people who know you personally but most importantly you need technical knowledge on how to protect the funds.
People who offer escrow services here do not reach their trusted status overnight so you have to work for it, escrow service is one of the hardest businesses to set up, which is why only a few people here can offer that service.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 14, 2024, 11:20:41 AM
As everyone knows the goal of betting is to get the largest amount of money ,
For some people, this is just a secondary goal their goal is to enjoy playing and take profit when there is an opportunity to win money but it's not the main goal for some.

Quote
knowing that the risks do not change whether you bet a large or small amount, and sometimes the amount you bet with is your capital, and this drains you of your time and money, and perhaps your work and daily tasks.
Do you think that the benefits in gambling Worth the invest of your money and your time with knowing that your chances are Just 50/50?

It is human instinct to take a chance to double what they are betting even though the house has the edge, people are thrilled with the challenges it's what makes us alive, if you happen to visit a physical casino you will see people's faces on how they are excited and thrill on every roll and bet, some people derive their pleasure from gambling so gambling has benefits for these people.
Gambling produces dopamine in the brain, which is a reward system that makes gamblers thrilled and got their pleasure.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is best for a player to draw the line? on: March 13, 2024, 03:46:24 PM

Some other gamblers stop playing when the win they first few games, while other continue to chase the loses, and technically ww can tell in accuracy when this things happens, but when is the best time to stop gambling and take a break?

1-when you lose?
2- when you win?

It is good to take a break or to quit when you win it boosts your spirit, but it's hard to stop when you still have not filled your satisfaction, so it depends on your satisfaction, whether you win or you lose, as long as you keep in mind that you're playing to enjoy and to be satisfied, but when you're motivation is on making money it's easy to make a decision when you already won.

In my case, I usually quit or take a break when I use all my allocation for that given day, but I just make sure or try to extend my allocation until my satisfaction is filled, it's not easy but you just have to control your allocation to avoid losing my allocation for the whole week.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: March 13, 2024, 02:15:23 PM

We will see if this bubbly kid commits to his word and focused on the remaining weeks before his fight. Ryan is having mental issues again with his weird posts. Even his ex-wife also posted asking for prayers to Ryan. Ryan's promoter Oscar though told the media that Ryan is doing well and will be ready by fight date.

Pretty sure Derrick James is concerned of his ward. This is also a huge break for him and the result of this fight dictates what happens next to his career as a coach. But what happens to Ryan's social media who's earning a weekly? Maybe he will hire someone to continue posting?

He is focusing right now, I just stumble this video and he is looking good, his lateral movement is good he is training with his movement because he knows it's going to be a cat-and-mouse chase kind of match where he needs to catch Haney and throws him off balance with his hit and run tactic.

lateral movements and timing are very important especially if you're fighting a guy who knows how to use distance to his advantage like Haney, both fighters know this is going to be a tactical game, and when you're in a tactical battle you need to be able to run and move the whole 12 rounds if necessary.

511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Monte Carlo fallacy on: March 13, 2024, 12:16:06 PM

Perhaps the majority of gamblers know this , especially the professionals and old-timers. Personally, I always fall into this trap.

-What is your analysis about this trick?

Not everyone, gamblers who are not doing research and just bet do not know this and may have implemented this one way or the other, but since this is a fallacy and the Cambridge dictionary defines this as
Quote
an idea that a lot of people think is true but is false:
it should be avoided gambling is a game of luck, and in-depth analysis if it's a sports betting

The most famous gambling fallacy
Quote
The most famous example of the gambler's fallacy occurred at the Casino de Monte-Carlo in Monaco in 1913.

But until now it has persisted because gamblers are looking for probability and to justify a pattern until people believe that it won't work

512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you stake on a potential(obvious) loosing team just for love? on: March 13, 2024, 10:53:41 AM

Question: Can you have so much love for your team to behave like this guy that even when you know your love fans team would loose a match, would you still further stake on the match against your team?
Remember that we are catching funs here and whoever chasing after profits is at its own will.

There is an option to not bet and just support the team you love. you don't have to lose money out of support, I'm not a rich guy to bet blindly out of loyalty, and I can still have fun watching and cheering for my team I'm not a risk taker I want to bet where I have a chance to win.
I am a fanatic on some of my favorite teams I will just hope and cheer that they win, my reasoning is I'm just a regular worker and every bet for me is important if it's not worth betting, then go for it, I'm sure they understand it.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Man bet his life savings on 1 spin of Roulette on: March 13, 2024, 09:44:09 AM
Some people are simply idiots. But first I wouldn't believe everything I see in videos like that. Would that man have done the same if there wasn't a camera in front of him? Besides, how can we be sure that they are his life savings?

Anyway he looks still young, still have time to save money again.. and who know, put it on another bet ! Grin

But he will be the laughingstock of people and a bad example of putting risk his savings in case he loses, and even if he wins people will think that this is craziness, we don't know what the guy's job and what's his mental state to put all his saving in one bet.
So far that video already has 1.8 million views, if you are a content creator it will give you a good idea to put on that kind of show and hype it.  Cheesy
But seriously is it even legal to put in a show like that in a casino even if the casino owner stated that they do not condone this kind of act, gambling should be within the boundary of the law.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About running an online casino vs an offline casino on: March 12, 2024, 03:00:36 PM
I have been thinking about this a lot now and today again, I did the same, it's probably the right time to pour out my mind to my family on this forum, hope in return to get some great answers.
I know that it's not easy to run a casino, hire workers and some professionals and others, my question is. ....
1. Is running offline casinos the same as running an online casino?
2. What do online casinos have to lose if they aren't making as much money as they intended?
3. With online casinos, isn't the number of hiring being limited compared to someone who wants to run an offline casino?
4. Which one is more easier to manage than the other?
And the last question is, which one would you go for if you have the resources?
Online casinos are much easier to set up you can set it up in a matter of weeks and everything is automated because of Cron jobs and you don't need a lot of staff it's very manageable, compared to offline casinos where setting up a facility and hiring staffs and training them will cost a lot of money and a lot of time.

In offline casino, you need a lot of managers to oversee the full operation of the casinos and you will spend on close circuit TV and security, something that you need to have in online casinos.

Both ventures are profitable but it takes a large organization to set up an offline casino, while online if you have funds and technical capability you can launch your online casino.

517  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Huwag magpadala sa at maging practical on: March 11, 2024, 01:50:51 PM

Anung masasabi ninyo ganeto nadin ba kayong magisip?

518  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Need Suggestion From Filipino Citizen receiving gcash from abroud on: March 11, 2024, 12:53:07 PM
I want to receive money from my buyers in the philiphines . he only uses gcash .

but I can't use gcash because it requires local documents and a local number (Philippines).

Do you have any suggestions on how I can receive payments via gcash internationally? The easy one

I really don't know who else to ask. I just remembered that I still filipino community in this forum

It seems all your buyers are not aware of Gcash's Crypto features you can ask them to send you USDT or any Crypto that you all both agreed, you don't have to use Gcash or get verified, if all your buyers are not Crypto users they have to first get verified to be able to access the Crypto feature of Gcash.
You can also do that on Coins.ph or any other local exchange but it has to be Cryptocurrency its better if its USDT so there will no issue on volatility.

Update us if our recommendations are good/
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 11, 2024, 12:25:26 PM

There's nothing wrong in checking betting sites to verify your own prediction, but you should come out with your own prediction first and verify it and not checking these sites and influencing your own prediction.
For you to come out your own prediction you need to know the games that you're betting, and you can only cultivate your knowledge about the game if you have deep interest in the sport.
Like you I also trust my prediction I experiences losses and winnings but there's a sense of fullfillment if you got it right based on your own effort.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo Alvarez - Jaime Munguia May 4 Super Middleweight Championship on: March 10, 2024, 03:50:03 PM

Whoever manages PBC, hates that Cinco de Mayo celebration. PBC could have found someone French boxer to fight Canelo, and using the celebration to promote a fight could make a huge profit.

It's not that they hate the Cinco de Mayo celebration it's just that they have no better option and I don't think they can find a French boxer in the top standing, Mexicans will love to see that as it will commemorate their victory against France but PBC is going to lose a lot of money they are in the business to make money not to please anyone and that includes Canelo and the Mexican.

Quote
Anyway, Canelo is now considering another Mexican and he will also be considering Benavidez after Munguia. Canelo is still in his prime, he will surely crush Munguia.

There's no guarantee that he will take Benavidez there are reports that Benavidez is eyeing the light heavyweight, as he cannot keep up with maintaining his weight for the middleweight so he only has David Morell a very promising Cuban who has a perfect 90% knock out average, after he hurdle Munguia, Canelo will have to face a more better fighter to keep his status.
