501  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: November 11, 2023, 03:45:37 PM
So if a gambler wants to bet, bet with sports, a first step to do is checking Terms of Service and see his location is in a list of restricted areas by the casino or allowed by the casino.

Typically, A country that is restricted on a casino can’t access the casino website by using the regular IP for that specific country so there’s no need to check for the casino ToS if your country is not allowed unless you are always using VPN on your browsing that makes you dodge the casino restrictions unnoticed.

Most of the incident of restricted user being caught in the casino are those people who knowingly take the risk of playing while they are restricted in the casino.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will FTT token everly hit it ATH again? on: November 11, 2023, 12:24:50 PM
In less than 24 hours today FTT token has pump at about %51 from $1.22 to about $1.80 so I said let me bring this information to the forum if there is any possibility that this token Can still recover to it's all time high again. Because sometimes one can use such opportunity to achieve something.
Although we talk about bitcoin investment always but just decided to share with us

You can share your thoughts on this.

I highly doubt it. This exchange has a lot of shadiness from its core and I doubt investors will be too optimistic on this token to invest huge amount even high price without thinking that the previous owner of this project still holds a lot of this token and willing to dispose anytime if he has a chance.

The existence of SBF is a threat to FTT growth that’s why it will never reach again ATH besides most of the CEX right has their own utility token which means competition is much tougher now compared before when FTT main rival is just BNB.
503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it Hold? BTC Targets $40,000 on: November 11, 2023, 12:21:17 PM
Holding 37k up to now and yes 40k is sooner to be broken again , its just waiting for the final blow, let those taking the correction serious and selling , let us continues to hold for the future effect .

maybe 45k is near the table , I will be happy watching this to happen.

Breaking 40K is still a big question now that we notice the sudden weakness of the bulls when reach the 35K area. We are currently on 37K and possibly reaching 40K in quick manner but I doubt that we can easily make 40K as support and aim for higher resistance since everyone is just trading because of the optimism on ETF approval which is still uncertain.

Bitcoin halving is still almost half year from now so I’m expecting more price action of correction rather just a big continuous like what happened before. I believe Bitcoin will always have a major correction whenever 30k, 40k, 50k and so on will be achieved.
504  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: November 10, 2023, 04:44:31 PM
I hope your case can be resolved and you can take your rights/money. The red sign for BC.Game, after 1xbit which is the trauma of casino customers, this has indeed become very alarming for gamblers, it is important to see the reputation and recording of the journey of a casino because it will harm us.

It’s very rare for a casino to resolve case like this that they already marked as resolved by walking away on casino guru. I never see a casino overturn their decision on this kind of case because they have their own way on following their ToS on dealing with customers issue.

His only chance is to get the attention of Bc representative here since they still have a solid reputation here even with multiple scam accusations ongoing with proof.
505  Economy / Services / Re: Courtsiding from a scout (dictation) on: November 10, 2023, 04:12:20 PM
Can you enlighten on how this split seconds difference will be an advantage on betting? This is an honest question without any sarcastic intent.

The only possible way that I knew this is effective is when the match is already over yet bookmaker still open some bets due to the delay for the result. Aside from this, the minimal change on odds is what I think possible whenever a team made a score within that delay span.

Afaik, Casino is very vigilant on betting like this since your client will have a pattern on what match and when to bet. There’s a chance of being connected to each other especially if they are winning together frequently. Your limit of customers is really a nice idea.
506  Other / Meta / Re: I don't have good account security. on: November 10, 2023, 02:48:33 PM
OP was asking that, he didn't received any confirmation email after registering an new account, which is bad for forum security so it needs to improved.
and here many users are posting about unrelated topics.
@BTC_pokaop You can lock this thread now you question has been answered here.

It’s not simple like that if you knew what’s the real deal of OP. He is claiming that forum is not secure in general because of that lack of email notifications whenever he login not only when he register that’s why many user suggest different approach on how to secure Bitcointalk account without relying on an email notification.

I really found it absurd to rely on a mere notification just to secure an account since a strong password and not logging in on unsecured device is a hood start to have confidence on securing account.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What according to you should be the age to retire from gambling ? on: November 10, 2023, 02:35:28 PM
Well, if you are referring to both online and physical, I don't think that at age 65, it is not appropriate for that age to gamble. Why? Because I've known quite a few elders, including my grandparents, at that age they treat gambling as their past time only, as their entertainment, and as such, they don't waste too much money, money that is enough to make them happy. For example, their bonding with their friends is gambling, and not every time gambling games should involve money. Sometimes you just need to enjoy the game, and thats what the elders do. There are more older gamblers that play because of the fun and not about money. So I don't think that at age 65 you should limit a person from gambling. With money involved, yes, but in games only used in gambling, they should enjoy it as they age we can't stop them on what is making them happy, maybe just guide and limit them.
I agree with you. Maybe people who have entered old age can play gambling games that they used to play but without using money and it will be more interesting because, considering their old age, maybe their hand speed has decreased a lot so it will become a laughing stock for friends. -her friend. But if they use money like they did before, we should remind them not to exceed their limits because they can get carried away and they won't remember to stop playing. Old age should be able to give them wisdom by not doing the things they did in their youth. They can reunite with their friends while telling stories about their experiences in their youth so that it will be a beautiful memory for them that will never be forgotten.

I think you guys is pertaining those backyard gambling that typically use cards or mahjong and play with their friends because that’s the only type of gambling that I know which requires agility when playing. Online casino and physical casino on the other hand gives you enough time to bet and play since all of them is straightforward and typically have dealer to deal the game.

I knew a lot of elderly around 60’s that still active on gambling mostly on roulette and craps. Being old is not a disadvantage on gambling since it’s not a physical activity after all.
508  Economy / Economics / Re: Being rich = not looking at price tag on: November 10, 2023, 02:10:45 PM
I often read people saying they want to earn enough money so they don't have to look at price tag of product. Imo, even if you are rich you wouldn't want to spend money on things that are not worthy of price being paid.

You wanna look at product and then it's price, if it's worthy of price, you purchase the product.

I believe the real meaning of it is not literally. Imho the real essence of that quote is you are rich when you are not thinking much that you will spend no matter how much is the worth of that specific item as long as you really needed it. It’s really dumb buying something without checking how much is it because how are you supposed to pay it even if using credit card.

People that is not rich typically consider price first before their personal desire to that specific item. If they feel that they can’t afford then will skip even though they really need it.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Believe That Reading People's Bad Experience Will Help You on: November 06, 2023, 04:11:47 PM
If you're starting your journey on gambling do you think reading about people's bad experiences like losing their savings and getting depressed which leads to loss of jobs and livelihood will help new gamblers to become responsible gamblers for fear that what they read will happen to them?

This is the worst thing you can do when you are new in gambling journey since it will just implant you a scary scenario that might trigger your fear once you are encountering difficulties on gambling.

You have a good chance of winning if your mind is clear and you are calm since you can control your wager properly and avoid chase loss that often give loss to gamblers. I never read people bad experience online when I’m new, I just discover it myself when I’m actually gambling and losing. At least I learn a lot on my experience and enjoy at the same time unlike playing while you are fearing that you will experience the same that will cause you to out of focus.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 06, 2023, 02:46:23 PM
Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?

Avoid playing games that you are not familiar and always check the currency you are using before you place a bet because some casino automatically convert your balance to USD and some casino let you use your original deposit currency to place bet. This is dangerous because you might thinking betting in USD but in reality your currency is set to mbtc or other currency that has high value than USD.  I learn this the hard way when I’m new on slot game although I rarely saw a casino that doesn’t use standard USD currency on in game bet.

Lastly, Play only on reputable casino and avoid using unknown casino just because they offer too good to be true bonuses because it will be a painful loss once they halt your withdrawal when you won. Just stick to trusted brand.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s your strategy on high volatility slot game? on: November 06, 2023, 02:23:24 PM
-
What does moving to another slots game do though? Will that make any difference? Because if I recall, slots are pretty random and they don't have any set number of spin before any wins so I don't think that your ritual is really doing you any favors. Aren't most slots regardless of the volatility still the same to the core? So I'm stumped why would someone change to a different game if it's essentially the same game as any other slots?

I honestly don’t have any idea that’s why I’m asking.  Cheesy I always notice this strategy on streamers that playing slot games which they frequently change slot games after playing a couple of bonus buy in random basis. I didn’t get what’s the reason behind since streamers doesn’t explain well how they game play strategy work.

I post this inquiry here to get some information and explanations on this kind of slot strategy. I just want to have a basic knowledge on strategy so that I will be comfortable using it unlike using it blindly.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / What’s your strategy on high volatility slot game? on: November 06, 2023, 12:32:41 PM
I play slot games but I always avoid high volatility slot games such as hacksaw and nolimit because this provider often gives more lose bets without hitting anything big even with bonus round. I’m not how did some players manage to become successful hitting huge multiplier from this provider.

Are betting fixed amount of spin on each game then move on to the next slot game after the you reach your target spin count or you wait to hit something big before you switch games.

In an event that you hit early huge multiplier, do you still play using same game or you immediately switch different game?
513  Economy / Gambling / Re: JungleCasino.io | Fully decentralized Smart Casino | Low House Edge 1% | No KYC on: November 06, 2023, 12:20:22 PM
The idea itself behnd the casino aint bad, being onchain and animals are a new angle aswell.

I do have a few issues with it however.

Right now the max bet on slots is 0.49 Matic.

The fees are ~0.02 - 0.1 Matic. - This GREATLY reduces the players ability to win anything back.

AND MORE IMPORTANTLY:
When i made a 0.49 Matic bet - the TX(0.2 Matic) + bet = total cost of 0.79 Matic. - I LOST THIS BET. IF i had won, i would get back 0.98 on a win Huh
I tried once more with a 0.25 Matic bet - the TX (0.284 Matic) + Bet = total cost 0.55 Matic. - IF I WIN 2x i would get back 0.5 Huh

Right now. Even if you win, you loose.

I find the current system extremely dishonest. IF i make a bet with amount X, i expect to pay X + tx fee. NOT baked in extra fees.

Good point here. This is the disadvantage of using on-chain bets on games like slot since you will need to spin bunch of it due to the nature of its game. But this maybe the reason why they reduce house edge to 1% since typical slot game usually have 4% house edge in average which is significantly higher to the games they offer.

I better the better solution on this is to have other option of blockchains that offer almost free transaction fee such as Optimism. But those fee is already compensated by there low house edge in my opinion.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 05, 2023, 05:06:11 PM
I'm just curious and would like to get the consensus of the community, should casinos sponsor sites that deal with gambling addiction and cure, we can't deny that the gambling addiction percentage is very high in this generation,

I just stumbled one site about gambling addiction it's a free help for those addicted to gambling, there are many more related sites and facilities.
Do you think it is the obligation of casinos online or offline?

It is casinos' way to repay those who put in a lot of money and get addicted or they shouldn't care because it's the gamblers' initiative to play.

I think somsince they even have responsible gambling dedicated page just to help gamblers to become responsible and to avoid becoming addicted. Casino boldly disclosed that they are not source of profit which I believe they are open to introduce this kind of service with their player since they are obligated to do so as per the law. They offer too self-exclusion just to make gamblers stop playing with their casino.

There’s a lot of cases which casino ended up paying a victim(ga,bling addict) when it comes to court battle because the judge considers mental stability of victims. This is why casino usually avoid problematic gambling as much as possible because they might cause problem with them.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your own casino. on: November 05, 2023, 04:46:09 PM
I plan this before but not global scale but rather just on my local community. We have a vacant house which we typically use to gamble with my friends u til it became popular gambling spot in the neighborhood. I plan to expand my house into a mini casino but later I stop due to the possible legal charges since my place is already exposed to the authorities due to popularity.

Although I dream about owning a casino especially online. I don’t have any skills or money to materialize this dream so I stop thinking about this long time ago and just play as regular client.
Paying tax should not be a problem. Those casinos that have license have a way of paying tax and they continue to grow, having more customers and making more money.

If possible you can give it a try, you should.

Paying taxes is least of my concern. Our government is corrupt as hell which getting a license is very hard to accomplish for a small business casino. Only huge scale casino that pays huge under the table fees typically can get license to operate here in my country so small casino like ours have no chance to become legal.

You can add the cops that charge more under the table payment for protection which is really a pain in the ass. We witness other small operators in our neighborhood that suffer a lot on legal charges after they didn’t pay those shit fees. This is really an impossible business in my country unless I will ho huge scale.
516  Other / Meta / Re: Image ban or tagging, is it possible? on: November 05, 2023, 04:19:18 PM
In respect of posting of images, although I haven't seen any body get banned although I don't know if it's because I have search hard enough but I wouldn't want to be corrected by someone again through PM so I decided to come public on this one. So please the community should clear if I can banned or tagged from copying someone image in creating my topic without adding a reference link.

And please don't mind the English error as am trying to improve in my writing thank you all.

Simple answer yes, this is when you claim the owner of the image when you use it on one of your post. This is why you should put the source if you are using it as reference to the topic you created to avoid confusion that you are not the real owner.

But if you are just posting image just for sharing the content without any description on your post that expresses your ownership then you are good to go to post image without any source. Most of the time, image use on info thread is always subjected to copyright when doesn’t disclose the source it will looks like that you own it since the content is originally from yours.
517  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Fee Observer Thread in USD(sat/vB) on: November 05, 2023, 04:14:53 PM

Saka the more na dumadami yung pending lalong tumatagal talaga yung confimation na naman nito for sure. Nakakawalang gana tuloy magsagawa ng transaction at the moment, kaya malamang break muna ako for the meantime.

518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your own casino. on: November 05, 2023, 09:32:05 AM
But getting back into the topic, i would like to read some nice histories from the community, those who only dream about their own casino, and those who make their dreams come true.

519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are too focused on history repeating itself on: November 05, 2023, 09:01:35 AM
History repeating itself is common scenario in crypto market in both bullrun and bearish market since there’s always a correction after a pump and a recovery after dump. There’s nothing wrong to think about that. It’s only wrong if you just keep thinking on it that result you to unable to purchase crypto just because you wait for that bottom.

I believe people that think like this are those who will purchase at the top when they are already FOM O when Bitcoin pump hard.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if the second Satoshi appears? on: November 04, 2023, 03:47:28 PM
Right. Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin. He's a genius. Bitcoin systems and communities are working perfectly, and everyone is crazy about Bitcoin. But what happens if someone creates a blockchain that is faster and better than Bitcoin and puts it out into the world without any greed, as Satoshi did? Are people going to ditch Bitcoin away? In that moment, we're going to see a blockchain that's performing better than Bitcoin and is perfect for decentralization that everyone emphasizes. What will happen?

Maybe you are outdated but there’s a lot of blockchain existing that faster than Bitcoin. I believe most of new blockchain nowadays is much faster than Bitcoin in terms of ToS since they use PoS and other protocol.

There’s no second Satoshi just because much better blockchain arrive. Bitcoin is special because it’s the only real decentralized blockchain since there’s no centralized entity or company that control the decision making on blockchain.

No one will ditch Bitcoin just because faster blockchains existed since Ethereum exist a long time ago yet Bitcoin still at the top.
