521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 10, 2019, 12:17:53 PM
Let's not waste much time on the governments attacks and rants about bitcoin. All that the government can ever do is to abolish the use of bitcoin in the real world but never in the digital world where it's about privacy. Seriously i don't think we really need to worry much about their attacks but rather stay strong and develop systems within this digital world that would accept bitcoin other than relying on existing industries from adopting to accept bitcoin. That is the more reason why ICOs and IEOs should come out with good use cases so that we can support and not all the scams that are spreading in this industry.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good advice or bad advice? on: December 10, 2019, 09:16:50 AM
It's a good advice mate and i have been doing this ever since i got into this space. My plan is to sell a portion of any token/coin i receive being it an ICO/IEO then keep some part of it. It's not advisable to hold all the coins of any project because most of them can turn out to be scams at any point in time.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fleas are going down! on: December 10, 2019, 08:45:42 AM

Bitcoin fleas are back down! I am hoping that they stay down because these last few weeks have been painful.
Fleas are insects that feed on the blood(red) of animals so i guess what the OP was trying to say was linking the recent market dip of bitcoin to fleas. However, this linkage can't be drawn properly today because bitcoin price just decreased again by $150. Hopefully, we can see all the fleas driven away by next year.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2019, 07:39:25 PM
It amazes me the number of men in crypto but women not so much.
When I talk to my girlfriend or female friends I feel like they don't care about it or I am crazy lol. I offered 3 of my female friends 10 dollars worth of Bitcoin via Coinbase to see if they will be interested.  I helped download the app, set up two-factor authentication and some other basic stuff. After a couple of months, they even don't recall how to access their wallets. I am very disappointed lol. Can someone explain to me why women are not interested in crypto?

Taking of huge and insane risks have never been the portion of woman not neglecting the fact that there might be some few women who are investing into bitcoins. Generally, men tend to venture into new things hence are very adventurous but most women are quite calm when it comes to exploring. I think we as men in here need to do our best and get our close female counterparts in this industry as women are likely to help make this industry much more popular than what we are doing.
525  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto analyst peter brandt bitcoin will reach $100000 on: December 09, 2019, 02:12:25 PM
I never knew anybody has the balls to call such a high price lol. Everybody has his/her own tick when it comes to that, all we got to do is to stay patience and hold but to be honest we are definitely not hitting this price even in the next 4 years lol. The highest i can ever think off is at $40K or slightly lower than that not forgetting that any of this can only come true after bitcoin halving next year. It seems the rise of BTC now depends on this halving Grin
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the most complicated thing about Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2019, 01:43:55 PM
Whiles getting to know more about this industry, one thing that i faced as a difficulty was when i was trying to prove ownership of a bitcoin address. This was quite complex as it took me several days to get this done. I think most newbies in this industry might also be facing this problem, well if you are happen to be in such situation you are welcome to seek help from this article.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be thankful than hate him on: December 09, 2019, 05:51:32 AM
I shall forever be indebted to Satoshi Nakamoto and his invention of the blockchain technology. I don't know why some folks choose to hate and rant about his whereabouts and all of that but if you are really being a realistic person you will see that the blockchain technology has the potential of doing more good than harm. Let's explore this technology and make good use of it.
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Founder of Cardano and crypto Youtuber in an MMA match! on: December 09, 2019, 05:08:27 AM
OMG, this is very strange and really weird lol. Upon all the things they could have done to raise money, they chose to fight among themselves to do that. In someway they are right also, many people would patronize this event and this would help them raise them much money other than just announcing this on any of their social media channels. I just hope they don't hurt themselves that bad in the ring but  hope the founder of Cardano wins this fight Grin
529  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: December 08, 2019, 06:34:24 PM
I have been a crypto enthusiasts for the past years two years and i would definitely choose cryptocurrencies over fiat because of how convenient is it to use. Making transactions in crypto is faster, secured and very simple as compared to fiat currencies. Someday i wish each country will adopt its own digital currency to make buying and selling very easy with cryptocurrencies.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 08, 2019, 03:14:10 PM
I would go in for coins that are within the top 50 on coinmarketcap. Take for instance BNB, ETH, TRON etc. these coins have taken a great dip for the past 3 months and you would be a good investor to purchase them right now and wait for them to increase in value once the bull run of bitcoin sets in. Bitcoin bull run is likely to begin once we start approaching the halving next year.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Experience of A Bitcoin User on: December 08, 2019, 02:38:28 PM
I've always had a bad feeling about how these malwares can change our copied address and input a hacker's address but i never thought it would be done in such a clever way such as this. We all need to be very careful whenever we are sending funds to any person. I double check my address entirely before hitting the send button. The patience is always worth it!
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Increase Bitcoin adoption on: December 08, 2019, 09:41:42 AM
Sorry, design of this is not so good. Only adoption of local law will help with crypto adoption
And you think the government will willingly adopt it? Your guess is as right as mine, No! It's when the indigenous people start to make news about it or start calling for it only then will the government take action against it. Also, his design is not too bad and i think he made it clear that he is not much into coding so i think we can give him the benefit of the doubt. Great piece mate @OP and thanks for pushing for the adoption of cryptocurrencies.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 08, 2019, 05:22:53 AM
I had an old bike and i was purchasing almost two years ago, but one week i have sold my bike and i purchased some bitcoin.
Especially I want holding long time with more patient because i want makes more profitable.
So what do you think ? My decision is worng or right? The upcoming year 2020 give me good profits ??

Notes: basically i am not more expert trading then i keep decision holding is my best way for making more profitable.
Welcome to share your mind.

What kind of bike was that lol, that's quite a lot from the sales of just one bike. Anyway, it's still a good investment decision if you ask me but note that if you are not going to trade with it then you will need to hold it for at least six months. Bitcoin halving is just some few months away and only that can make we see some huge gains in the upcoming year. Welcome to the holding club!
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DigiByte CEO, can you just shut the hell up and mind your own business? on: December 07, 2019, 12:15:04 PM
No offence @OP but i think you are also getting quite emotional here. I think Jared might be making all these strong accusations about Zhao and Sun because of the huge listing feels and other details that was published sometime ago.

I think he is just ranting because of this misunderstandings that happened in the above link or probably they might have had other issues yet to be disclose in the general public.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alibaba cooperates with new blockchain platform, Is this project worth following on: December 07, 2019, 09:24:59 AM
Alibaba is just a tiny portion of the entire Chinese Economy and i don't see how their adoption of blockchain technology in the operating of their services would affect the decision the government has taken about cryptocurrencies. This i think would rather encourage other industries to inculcate the blockchain technology in their operations as well especially when they see the success rate of Alibaba.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is absolutely not good for India Bitcoin community! on: December 07, 2019, 08:42:22 AM
Seriously i don't know how this would affect many crypto enthusiasts in India. I don't think there are miners in India that would be affected with this situation. Bitcoin is decentralized and anonymous so how are they going to be affected with this situation. In the first place how does the government know that some individual is using bitcoin or not.
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly $10 billion worth of BTC moved in just 15 minutes? on: December 06, 2019, 08:00:48 PM
And how does this affect the market mate? It's time you folks stopped following these whale alerts and invest based on  how much you can afford to lose. Leave the whales to play their own games and never invest looking at someone's asset. remember if bitcoin dumps to about $3k these guys would still be worth quite a sum.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the next decade, BTC and digital currencies will “fully” replace fiat? on: December 06, 2019, 07:53:02 PM
Nope, i don't think so...digital currencies would definitely be the main stream of making payments but it will not be with bitcoin. In as much as we are all enthusiasts of the adoption of bitcoin we must face the reality of bitcoin not being ideal as a mode of payment looking at its transaction speed. The entire world can't operate with this folks, that's the truth.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $10k soon according to Bloomberg? on: December 06, 2019, 11:45:02 AM
The crypto industry is all about predictions mate and this time around it makes a lot of sense with this price prediction knowing that bitcoin halving is just around the corner. This prediction is from a credible source so let's see if the crypto analysts are right with this one. Fill your bags people, this might be the last time you will have bitcoin at this low.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: December 05, 2019, 06:46:31 PM
These scams would never stop so take the opportunity to advice yourself and also make decisions based on the experience you might have had with some of these. Do a better research about any project you campaign for to sieve out the scam projects from the good ones. There are always some good ones out here, you just have to look harder.
