521  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: February 18, 2024, 11:17:58 PM
By knowing the policies you can avoid breaking any rules, though most of the time,  gamblers forget to read or because of laziness they'll not giving that much attentions. Responsible gambling should understand every factors, when you know something it can helps to prevent breaking any rules and also by knowing you can keep your distance as we speak about what gambling owners cares about, its all about the business and it should be known by gamblers so they will not fall to whatever the house is offering, responsible gambling should always in the right time and place.
The number one way to understand a thing is to know the rules and by knowing the rules alone it has solved almost half of your problems,  so for a gambler who want to act in the most responsible way the first thing to do is to outline the rules within which you intend to operate on to have the most safe time while gambling.

Those who choose to remain lazy and not take the time to know those rules that safely guide them from becoming irresponsible gamblers and due to that laziness end up messing up things for themselves along the line
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 18, 2024, 11:05:52 PM
If gamblers need experience then no one gambles, how can they get experience if they don't gamble?
The age benchmark is only a rule in certain countries, like in my country everyone can gamble, but in my country gambling is prohibited even at 18+, and what's strange is that here many who have not yet reached the age of 18 are already active gamblers.
Right experience comes with being involved in the activities,  like gambling or trading,  if you want to gain experience doing them,  you have to get involved first and remaining active also contribute to your experience because it is from that activity that your skills will improve.

Sometimes some people think that they can gain experience from other people's sessions but at some point, people's experiences won't give you that lesson that you need to solve your own individual peculiar problems.

Just like I said in my earlier comment,  the age restriction is a government demand to check underage gambling.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you beleive in the concept of "Luck"? on: February 18, 2024, 10:55:51 PM
Luck is something that we have but that we do not perceive, but that we possess it, I say that we all have our reasons for luck, whether good or bad for some things, we have to learn to observe to see how they can be used to take advantage of us if necessary. Badly, we know that we shouldn't do that type of thing anymore, but in what we have, we should exploit it, the bad thing is that if we don't have luck in games of chance and betting, well that becomes a problem.
Every individual know and perceived the level of luck that they have on they side,  and when that luck is prevalent when playing so it a vital tool for gambling because with luck gambling winning is sure and without it we have a hard time to win in most if the games,  e.g we have some luck base games and this games doesn't work with skills but pour luck.

Like spin and dice,  this are luck based games that it winnings won't happen in any other ways and no skills can make that happen unless for luck that the only way to win those games.

And if so, I would have to turn to sites that can give advice on gamling, how to play, how to make decisions, and how to do things better in the casino, all of this can be brought to that level, as long as it is Do you see that it is not going to harm the player, having to pay for assistance? Yes, but the person tries to learn things, and techniques so that they stop losing, and to see if they can change their luck, I say that I know if things can be done.

Do we have sites that teach us all of the safety tips about gambling,  if there is I would really like to see some recommendations or links for us to take a look at.

Because many of us are looking for a platform that offers such help to us we can gamble in the most secure and fair ways,  because this is the only way for us to protect ourselves while gambling.
524  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would you like to ask a crypto casino owner? on: February 18, 2024, 10:29:30 PM
I have a question about online casinos, is the flow of money in and money out controlled manually or is it done by bots? and what if the flow of money in is much smaller than the money out? Will casinos still really take the risk of paying out?
and what will they do if cash has run out?
This is a big question for me personally, if a casino works in a real and honest way, of course sometimes they have to experience losses too
I think we are begging to be overbearing in all of this because at some point,  asking a casino how they generate their revenue is quite an insane thing to do at some point,  I can still welcome question that borders around another aspect of gambling aside from revenue because we know how expensive it is to operate a casino and at that, any team that wants to start up a casino will definitely be ready to deal with the aspect of funding.

We have more important things to ask like how best the casino could improve on their services to better serve their clients in the best and most competitive way they could if we live in a highly competitive gambling market,  online casinos have really improved and grown a lot lately and at that we need a lot of room for improvement to meet up with the current demands,  so the main question is how they intend to handle that competition in the market.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blue card to be introduced in football. on: February 18, 2024, 08:03:57 PM
So guys how do you see this new intended innovation, is it going to change the face of football across the world, let's have your opinion.
The new innovation will introduce a new tactics for some technical coaches to really exploit. They may cook up a strange strategy different from what these regular gamblers and coaches know. Coaches like Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and others may find ways to make the new addition to the sport favor them. Many things are really changing and developing into something else from what they were, I will not be surprised if the number of players in each team is increased by one player.

I would have suggested that they don't even try to introduce something new other than the one we've been used to already, there may be different discrepancies in their order of making decisions to judge towards the use of the blue card over the yellow or red card, but if there's going to be a full engagement on how to adopt and use this new approach over each countries, and that they are ready to take the responsibility of orientating the football sections of each countries, make a guidelines that could support the adoption and do a follow-up, this may not bring about diversification in judging for an either blue, red or yellow card.
Life involves and things change,  innovations coming up and development is constant,  so for that,  we can not say entirely how impossible it could be to judge in the case of awarding a blue card to players and how different countries will judge that new feature,  but for sure from what we have read,  we can say that blue card will be a cool off timing for a  player during the match,  let say when they commit that fowl play their are to wait for 10 minutes before being allowed to continue playing during the match.

So for that,  I may not support the idea of not entertaining new developments and additions to the already football features that we have,  and for sure this new rule will make football more better than we think so let us remain positive,  about this whole thing and look forward to seeing a better side in football when it fully implemented in International football.
526  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: House of reps moves to stop sports betting in Nigeria (am news) on: February 18, 2024, 07:49:22 PM
Nigeria never get that capacity to stop sports bet and at some distance, even those so-called lawmakers the gamble and some of them the do spot bet well,  so the matter is no good to get ground for this country as many people take this betting thing as an alternative and escape route from their daily frustration and what have you,  the Koko of the matter says, they go try to regulate the gambling science and this is to eliminate the presence of underage gambling to some extent and even at that sef,  many children go still gamble at the end of the day.

9ja na place where we the get too many policies but no execution and this one if they try to ban sports bets,  people go enter street because na another source of joy for people them won't take away so and citizens go revolt.

528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 18, 2024, 02:24:41 PM
Real Madrid took the lead at the beginning of the match with Joselu, but Rayo Vallecano won a penalty. It was a penalty because Camavinga intercepted the ball going to the goal with his hand. Raul de Tomas converted the penalty into a goal. There are both goals in the match and those who play with more than 1.5 goals have already won. Those who play for more than 2.5 goals also will win because this match won't end 1-1. Rayo Vallecano doesn't seem to have a striker who can score goals, but maybe they can get an opportunity when Real Madrid is making defensive deficits to win the match. I still believe Real Madrid will score and win the game.
Right now I think this match is going to end in a draw and if that becomes the reality,  then real Madrid has again lost a great chance to increase their points on the league table,  unlike when it was a win for them last season it was much better,  but still even with the multiple chances for Real Madrid,  their have failed to secure a goal with those chances.

Although between the real Madrid and Roya Renais they still have a better chance of winning the match and if everything is equal it may end in the favour of Real Madrid at the moment is still strong resistance from the Roya Renais team.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes altcoin season? on: February 17, 2024, 11:45:02 PM
It is a general believe in the cryptocurrency community that Bitcoin bull season is usually followed by altcoins season. I don't know the logic behind it hence the reason for this post. The present bull run seems to be dominated by Bitcoin and it's already taking too long without a corresponding rise in price among the notable altcoins.

So, should we also expect altcoin season following the current bull run? If yes, what are the best altcoins to focus on?
The cryptocurrency market is a chain that rolls together and Bitcoin being the main coin has an influence on the market and whatever happens with the cryptocurrency chain,  Bitcoin will be the first to react to it most especially when it concerns General market conditions,  such as news,  whenever there is either good news or bad news in the cryptocurrency community,  Bitcoin is the first to react then followed by altcoin, the reason why bitcoin seems to be the sole propeller of the market.

For that,  we have to take note of what we expect from the market and if you want to invest then you should hold coins that move in that similar chain direction to be in a good position when the market takes a new turn.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am seeking advice investement in new projects is legit or not ?? on: February 17, 2024, 11:30:39 PM
Op is very likely the same person who created this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5485136.0
because it includes a website with the same name and the two only differ in the title of the thread,
so Op is not asking but is promoting his site by asking about new projects but actually there are no projects
and even if there were the project, can be trusted a project that can't even afford a better domain to show seriousness in its development
xyz and site are some cheap domains, it impossible for quality projects can't use domains like that
Well whatever game the ops is trying to play,  I trust forum members to be smart enough to detect from afar what the condition and nature of the project,  and from the replies of many already they have exposed the project to be a potential scam.

So even if the ops make any attempt to indirectly promote his project here,  he may not gain any attention as doing extra research is what is not hard for forum members.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP telling people how much Bitcoin you have on: February 17, 2024, 11:24:43 PM
People don't need to know about our Bitcoin. There is no advantage that we share the information about our Bitcoin to others. If we want someone to know it, we just share the information to the very close people (wife, children, parents). The secret data about the Bitcoin shouldn't be easy to share to others.

If you keep telling people about the Bitcoin that you're holding, one day the people you told about your Bitcoin will plan evil for you. People are looking at people that own Bitcoin as very rich individuals because of the way Bitcoin has been rising and being on the news for giving investors profits. You might just be investing in Bitcoin recently but as you tell you friends that you have Bitcoin they might think that you have being holding Bitcoin for a very long time and your have made big amount of profits. Don't tell anybody about your investment so you don't becomes a victim of attack. Keep holding your Bitcoin and only tell your family members that involves your wife and children so if your suddenly pass away they can get access to your investment and not suffer when you have money in your investment that's growing.
It's quite inappropriate to tell others about your investment hand not even the closet person to you,  this is because when we talk about money,  most especially in an overhyped asset like Bitcoin,  many have misconceptions about Bitcoin investment and this is because of the lack of knowledge on what Bitcoin really is and how best to handle it as an asset.

You are right when you say that,  when people know that you own Bitcoin,  they will think you have a lot of money,  and not want to know how much of Bitcoin you actually own.

Bitcoin investment has to be done with high privacy and one of the unique features of Bitcoin is that it doesn't have a physical representative and at that,  you only give people access to your Bitcoin holding informantions only when you want to do so if not,  you can remain anonymous forever.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos team identity on: February 17, 2024, 11:12:06 PM
You or forum members aren't the eligible party to ask them KYC. They have doxxed the team with a license provider depending on the requirements.
To some extent,  we as forum member do not have the moral right to discuss anything as regards to KYC how much more than asking the casino team to prove their identity,  this is because as bitcointalk members we exist based on our user names and at that we are privacy conscious.

By asking casino teams to expose the identity may be acting a little out of proportion which at most will not lead to anything good in the long run.
533  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: February 17, 2024, 10:31:23 PM

1x(win or draw) mostly has small odds. As the result - you have higher win chance but lower prize. I prefer to risk but get more money. The bookie gives only a part of statistics - they need your money, so i prefer to search some additional information myself. Sometimes i can find that the key player is injured and the opponent team has higher chances to win than the bookie thinks. Such situations give us an opportunity to increase our win rate and profit.

In terms of collecting statistics and analysing it , bookies know when a key player in a team has an injured player and to the extent that it will affect them or not, so be rest assured that they compute all those before coming up with the odds in the options of the game. But sometimes a gambler gets lucky when a key player suddenly is injured seriously and has to go out or goes out through red card. So such opportunity is an advantage to the luck of the bettor who has made bet in the favour of the opponent team. The point is on the balance, bookies don't allow you a free winning opportunity, they always keep a tight option for gamblers.
LOL. Sometimes i see the team names are mixed up by the bookie. Try to bet not only top leagues and you`ll see the difference. The problem is that you have to find some fan site or board, or team site, where you can find this information. It takes lots of time and i can`t say that it gives you 100% chance to win nice odd. But if you have enough time - you can find at least several such games per week.
I don't know how the bookies get the analysis of the game but I must say that they do a great expert job and at the same time have put in mechanisms that always put the bookies at an advantage at all times,  this is what makes the big difference.

But the gambler on the other hand,  will have to put in extra effort to find out all the information that could help him make a better game selection since he aims to win the bet and also the casino is up for business,  most of the time,  this thing is based on luck and when you play in house games only then you will be at higher risk of in house influence
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buying and Selling of Casino Accounts (Discussion thread) on: February 17, 2024, 08:53:25 PM
For me,  is not morally right to sell a personal account and both the buyer and the seller are both at risk,  the seller faces the risk of being framed up for a crime that he may not have committed most especially if the casino account is a KYC verified account and the buyer goes on to commit a crime such as an account being used to do money laundering act and the government trace it to the old owner since his documents and other information are used on the account before he sold it.

The buyer also is at risk of losing his money if along the line he runs into any problem on the casino and he need to prove his real ownership of the account,  so the risk in buying and selling of accounts depends on both the buyer and the seller alike.

This is why account sales of any kind are unwelcome to those who already have experience in the industry,  not only casinos account but any form of account dealing is wrong.
535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who buys Bitcoin at $500k on: February 17, 2024, 07:53:58 PM
500k Bitcoin price is achievable in the long term and for that, we may not out rightly say that the analyst prediction is entirely out of content and in the long term we are going to see the actualization of those predictions, and reaching $500,000 will be something that we will achieved in the next couple of years to come.

But as far as I am concerned,  buying and holding Bitcoin is the best form of investment right now and for sure,  we may have the opportunity to buy more Bitcoin at a discounted price,  maybe below 40k before the Bitcoin halves and at that point anyone who wants to stock up more BTC against the next bull market.
536  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: February 17, 2024, 05:57:49 PM
Casino is a business, they will provide everything to convince gamblers to use their services but they will have hidden agenda behind them which most of the time gambler who don't read the terms and condition will be surprise what the rules to get the bonus completely, it's also a good part of being responsible not just with the deposited money but also by reading the terms and condition as if you know what's going to be the rules to take that out from the casino you will use all your options.
You are right about the fact that, casinos are business ventures and their owners are after revenue generations, and that makes it competitive for them to put up everything needed to keep them attractive to gamblers who are their main source of revenue.

But is the responsibility of the gambler to read through the casino terms of service even before you create an account on the site,  just like there is a need to read your electronic user manual before the operation to avoid getting stocked along the line.

So the basic responsibility is on the gambler to act in such a way that both he and the casino are on a fair balance ground while he plays in the casino.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 17, 2024, 05:23:02 PM
Gambling on other casinos will not make you gamble more because if you are an addict, a single casino is enough to spend your money and be losing.

Gamblers may be gambling on many sites, but I noticed with me that I prefer just one of them that have the best features that I need.

Do I gamble on other casinos? Yes but not frequent.
gambling in different casinos website will make you spend more than your budget, so it's advisable for someone to change a gambling website if it doesn't find the one he or she is gambling with properly, because I know quite well that gambling website especially casinos gambling website sometimes some of them will not give you what you want, so instead of you making use of different sites it's better and more preferable that you use one particular casinos website to gamble and when you not comfortable with such you can switch to another instead of establishing different gambling site, I think it will course a gambler more expense
Regardless of what the individual reasons for gambling on two or more casinos may be,  we have a few reasons why most of the gamblers never stick to one casino,  and that could be traced to what the fun they expect is and how best does casino offers them that bonuses that keep them motivated at all time.

Bonus and fun-seeking are what pushes many into diving into new casinos instead of remaining at the old casinos that they already have records on.

If you ever come across the saying that the newer the win,  the better the taste,  something with casinos at least to some people and not all,  because for me,  I have stuck to Stake Casino for a while now,  and I am not going to change my mind about that even if more promising casinos come up at any time with better bonuses.

It is not true @Onyeeze where you said that the more the casino a player uses the higher his losing chances,  it doesn't work that way because even core addicts can't gamble on two casinos at the same time,  so the spending is still going out through one channel.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos team identity on: February 17, 2024, 04:51:07 PM
This is simple to figure out the reason behind team members' privacy, and as such, I may have to outline some key possible reasons that make casino teams to operate in anonymity.

1: it rather for security reasons since knowing their identity will put them in the grave danger from both thieves and those who may have lost heavily during their time at the casinos.

2: they are identity may be used by scammers who may want to scam others by acting under a false identity that claims to be the team members or so.

If you check vividly you will see that there is no need to expose to the public who are the operators of the casino and since this doesn't affect their work in any way and licenses cover the security of players,  having a license covers the need for the team to go public.

And reason why casinos ask for KYC from players is to fulfil regulatory demands since the government are those who mostly uses KYC for security reasons and the casino as a business may not really need that KYC since the aim is to have an abuse-free operation and generate as many profits as possible.

540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: help me choose the best possible ALTCOINS for 2024/2025 on: February 16, 2024, 11:32:08 PM
I think memecoin can never be a long time investment because if you check the memecoin market you will see a lot of deaths. But for me why you only Btc fund can be best where risk amount is very less and more secure than other tokens. You enter the altcoins market in preparation for a bullish market and buy some of the top altcoins that will give you the best returns. Also do your research and strengthen your attitude before taking any hasty decision.
When it comes to this kind of discussions,  memecoin should not be mentioned because I don't take them to mean any kind of investment but just a gamble,  this is the highest I can consider them to be and at best we should just take them to short term speculations since there is no clear direction or road maps to their existence.

So for sure when making a suggestion on how to get the best coins to invest in, we should stay away from meme couns since their aim is just to exist as a joke and nothing more than that,  we have seen other valuable coins that we can recommend for upwards reviews by the ops such as bnb,  ethereum people coin and dogecoin even though the last two are memecoins but their still have a track records of good success in the market.
