As to people saying its the Devs taking the BTC now...why wouldn't they just have ran with the 3.2 million USD worth they had just yesterday morning instead of returning it?
It's much easier to claim an extremely lucky user came along and cleaned them out. Adds an air of legitimacy. Plus, they can hope for further investments at people thinking 'invisible strings'.

I'm 100% sure he's just abusing some bug he found, Devs just can't find it.
DiceBitcoin knew that they have no reputation remaining whatsoever and no chance of bouncing back, and decided to sweep away all the invested funds in something that they can accuse of just being luck.

dicebitco.in: "we need to get the profit for investors we rigged back, as people are rapidly divesting"
later...
dicebitco.in: "shit people are all divesting, we need to increase profit again"
now:
dicebitco.in: "PEOPLE ARE DIVESTING EVEN WHEN I FAKE PROFIT, I'M TAKING IT ALL AGAIN"
There's no logical explanation that a whale would continue to bet on a side with a tiny max bet and very suspicious circumstances, especially when the same site has been shown to rig rolls.
still waiting for any logical explanations

Do you intend to ever make another Bitcoin business?
Yes.

Hey crazy_rabbit, Mastercoin is not Bitcoin 2.0. It is an altcoin that chose to leverage the Bitcoin blockchain for it's own network security, while creating it's own competing currency.
They are not Bitcoin 2.0. That's a marketing gimmick. They're altcoins.

Does changing your display name, or registering a new username with prohibited strings (e.g. Satoshi) count as something that would receive a bounty?
|
|
|
Does this count as an exploit?
<----- it has nothing to do with security but still... Edit: it got fixed. Got 0.03 btc for it.
what was it? unicode control codes?

i said over and over, I had no idea why anyone would be investing with such a new dice site, to the tune of 7000 BTC. Guess I was right to be skeptical.
dooglus basically endorsed it in his signature.

Oh that's simple, paying dirty coins to get freshly minted, no-taint-at-all coins.

i think for some games this decentralized solution will work, but for dice, which is supposed to be a fast game, it'll be almost impossible to implement.
We need a low latency, difficult to manipulate, independently accessible source of entropy. That's all. Something like Twitter's firehose API might work - get entropy from a large selection of the latest global tweets xor'd. Due to the volume, it wouldn't be possible to manipulate it because another user's single tweet can completely flip your result.

Shut down your dogecoin site and maybe I'll bet on your Bitcoin one.

Is there proof they are actually doing any real mining?
Digital miner getting upgraded on the fly sounds like a badly written scifi movie.
No, they are not performing any mining that is anywhere comparative to the amount of hashpower they sold. It's virtual. You acknowledge and agree that while you are using Company’s Services, Company is free to provide the Materials and Services virtually. During the provision of these virtual Services, Company is under no obligation to provide, acquire, or possess Materials dedicated to You by virtue of Your purchase of such Materials https://zenminer.com/cloud/terms.html

Sure, I agree. It looks bad. But the chat was disabled right? Somone might have missed the whole drama for example.
It's at least possible that someone won 100 BTC. It's not unheard of.
No, not only did the chat get disabled (this is defendable) but the ability to look up other user's bets have also been disabled. The latter implicates DiceBitco.in in covering up their 'rogue employee'. They've also refused to provide any details of such employee, and have previously publicly said that they're the only two people working on it.

How to hack Bitcointalk accounts and keep them
1. Hack account. 2. Pretend to 'sell' your hacked account to someone else (that someone else being yourself, or a friend, etc) 3. When original account owner comes back and sends signed message for account restoration, claim that you legitimately bought the accoutn. 4. theymos doesn't restore the account back to the original owner 5. profit!

Not trying to spread fud but on open investment dice sites, big whales winning is always sus. The site owner can be the whale, checking the seeds and predicting the rolls with no repercussions. And you think you can trust someone because they have a lot of posts on a forum? You don't actually trust them, you are just greedy and hoping they don't scam you.
They have a DiceBitco.in signature and are hoping that they get paid out, silly

Same case for me. As an investor, i was positive at around BTC0.10 and when i withdrew today i lost BTC0.19...
@Dicebitco : What do you planned for investor loss? (My DB account : Teddy76)
Why do you think they should give you money? I don't get it. Because it can be reasonably concluded that through argument by elimination, the 'whale' is most likely to be DiceBitco.in themselves wiping out the investor profit. I'm open to your thoughts on why someone would continue to bet on the site Just to set the record straight: it was players who lost coins. Investors actually gained coins, at least until mateo recently whaled some off.
That's why the speculation is that 'mateo' is DiceBitco.in themselves. They might have the premise that the rigged profit wasn't supposed to have happened, so think it's OK for them to reclaim it underhandedly. Think about it.. who the fuck would keep betting on a site that just rigged rolls, with people complaining about withdrawal delays, and the dust not settled? Would any rational whale keep betting instead of withdrawing what they had?

Not when the 'whale' winning big is likely to be DiceBitco.in themselves through argument by elimination.

Hashlet prime never get obsolete They adjusts to remain profitable which mean that gaw can e.g double your hashrate or sohow is this so difficult to understand This is called a 'fairytale'. IF there is an investment that is continuously profitable, why would anyone choose to share the returns with others? Think about it. I speculate GAW will let the Prime hashlets ROI (@$16 and $20 price points) to increase sales of their unprofitable miners (solos, genesis, etc).
