Linux Grin

On my Windows machine I use ESET Endpoint Security and common sense. I like the interactive firewall feature in Endpoint. That way I can immediately see if my executables are connecting somewhere where they shouldn't.

China wants $600. I'll gladly let them have it Cheesy Voted for $420+. I think under 500 is realistic for November.

i would leave it in my house, your residency may notice the spike in electricity usage and may investigate

I agree with the investigation part. But personally I would still bring it and use it for some time. Maybe it goes by unnoticed... And if the people doing the building maintenance aren't really tech-savvy, I guess you could sell it off as an UPS or something Wink

big prices changes are always good for bitcoin - free press.

Free press is good. Be it positive or negative, it's good. It means Bitcoin is making it way through to more common(?) people.

Lijepo je vidjeti da raste. Zanima me samo razlog. Znam da će zbog reward halfinga biti hype malo jaci, no nekako mi se cini jos prerano za to.

Prvo pravilo trejdanja: Nitko nezna zašto cijena raste Grin

527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin symbol accepted for Unicode on: November 03, 2015, 03:57:35 PM
I can't wait for the day that the BTC symbol replaces the dollar symbol on my keyboard. Everyone will be using bitcoin by then. This is the start of the whirlwind to main street, when it gets integrated into the established systems like unicode.

LOL
How will we code if we have no $ sign on our keyboards?
Hehe, devs must be having a nightmare from this news. Who knows when BTC might replace $

Gave me a funny idea... Forking JavaScript and beginning to use BTC instead of $ Grin

I'm a tight aggressive player. Where do you play guys?

I play in a few casinos I like. They have 2 nights when it's free-to-enter and free-to-play until you bust the first time. Then you can rebuy into the game with cash. It's organized like a tournament. You have to win 5 or 6 tables (depending on how many people are playing) to win a cash prize.

That looks great! So, can you tell us in what Poker Rooms are you playing? I use nitrogensports, SWCPOker and Betcoin... What's your preferred Poker rooms?

I don't play online rooms that much, but I liked PokerStars if that's of any use to you.
If you didn't understand my post - I wanted to say I play against actual people at a real table.

Are you still looking for a dev?
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker strategy! on: November 03, 2015, 02:51:19 PM
I would say I also play a bit aggressively. But as most people above me are saying - it's a game of mind. You have to look at other people and their style of playing. There's a lot of experience needed to know it well too. That's one of the reasons I prefer playing live instead online.
535  Other / Off-topic / Re: The newer Firefox sucks ! on: November 03, 2015, 02:36:41 PM
Stopped using firefox when they started to include closed source in the code.
Now I am using Pale Moon

Firefox uses closed source code now? I've read about Pale Moon and it seems like it is a lot less bloated. I haven't made the switch yet but I think I probably should look into doing it.

You should definitely check out Pale Moon Wink Also been using it for a while now. Plus, all my FF addons work in Pale Moon as well.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 03, 2015, 02:14:37 PM
Well I doubt I ever be wealthy with my little over 1 btc. Early adopters are the ones who got wealthy when they sold in late 2013.

That's what people said early 2013 too about previous jumps. Who's to say this surge won't make it to 2000 right now? The ones that bought early 2015 will get a sweet profit from it. But the real question is, when will people start realizing there won't be any point in cashing out anymore unless you aim to make profit from the bitcoin volatility. Smiley

It won't go up a lot. Not for some time at least. I still have some BTC to buy.
About cashing out... People need to pay bills and all kinds of things you still can't pay with Bitcoin. The thing people have to realize is you can accept BTC as money too Wink

Most Bitcoin users don't even know about the reward halving. And now it's all over the news. It all works good for the short-term price rise.
We'll see how it develops though. Me? I'm all buckled up.
539  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto will ever replace Fiat? on: November 03, 2015, 01:58:02 PM
Actually I don't think crypto will ever replace fiat, I think they will co-exist to serve different purposes.

What is your opinion?

No, it won't. No governments would allow that to happen.

This.
And it really IS impossible in today's world for Bitcoin (or any other altcoin) to replace fiat currency.  Not in the next 100 years at least.
There is too many things that common people use fiat for and I don't see them switching to Bitcoin any time soon.

Both fiat and Bitcoin have its advantages. Use them together.

What about us who are still holding? I for one didn't sell in 2013 Grin
Btw, use your 1 BTC and get wealthy.
