Whenever someone gives merit to any user he has to determine the number of smerits he is willing to hand out and at the bottom you will find the line which says : This cannot be undone which means it can't be reversed.

So if you delete a post or it gets deleted by the moderator also the merits you get on that one remains exactly the same so you don't need to worry about it but make good post so you don't have to delete them.

What do you mean by this that forum gives you function? There are some members who might not completely agree to some posts but still give them merit because they helped or on a general basis it was good so it's upto you how you deliver merits.We all have different approach and criteria while spending our smerits as there's no fixed criteria for it.

But I would say we should not drag this topic too long and remain on topic as we can't discuss on these topics that how we should send merits because the system was implemented to reduce the spammers from ranking up not how you should send them.

Based on his post he has knowledge of these threads and information about what's going wrong with imgur images as he has already mentioned about @TryNinja script to convert the images to other site but what he specially talking about is that can anyone replace all those links with new platforms BBcode so the images on the threads are visible again.

But the users have to shift the alternate links to make their post images visible and don't use Imgur anymore when we have forum based image hosting platform so use it for betterment and staying away from these third party softwares.

I was facing this issue in the past with imgbb also and at that time it was temporary but got another site to upload images.But now the imgur is deleting all the images which is big issue for all of us who have used it but great that @LoyceV managed to provide the alternate links.

Actually if you look closely then bitcoin has been declared dead 474 times by those who hate it or don't understand it whenever the market is in red or panic situation is there.This has been case many times when it has grown from low levels also but they will never admit and bitcoin grows stronger after each declaration.

I would say if you are planning to hold even for short term then non custodial wallets are more safe if you can't afford hardware wallets as you should not let any third party have access over your keys which is more risky.When you have full control over your funds you should take responsibility of the security as well to protect yourself from scammers and hackers.
