521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: November 04, 2023, 03:43:15 PM
Snip
I don't think that only the loneliness can make a people addicted to gambling. In my opinion people get addicted on this kinds of things for their own cause. They fall into addiction for their own fault or mistakes. And if anyone say that he become addicted to gambling for the cause of his loneliness then I will say he is lying. And in case of your friend there are many signal are already done by him that he is getting addicted or already addicted gambler from the before.
Let's not invalidate this kind of feeling because when you feel lonely you tend to care less and just go with the flow and eventually you'll become addict especially if you focus in gambling just to deal with that loneliness.

People usually find happiness on different things when they are lonely so there’s really a high chance that a lonely people will become addicted to gambling if he has nothing to do that will make him happy while gambling is the only convenient way for him base on his current situation. Loneliness can make people do anything even suicide while gambling is less terrible on it.

Gambling addict usually cut-off their sense of need to socialize with other people since they get happiness on it. This is why most lonely person choose gambling because it’s convenient way to get happiness as long as you have money to play.
522  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: November 04, 2023, 11:45:17 AM
What about when there is a enrollment season ? when parents are more busy spending money for schools and universities
than just to gamble meaning I believe that there is less gambling on those months May/June .

and also summer seems to be a gambling months because people are having long time to spend and of course together with their
holidays is casino lurking (and yes it is in Physical casino and not in Online) so also the promotion increases on those months.

About Duelbits? is there really a much less gambling time? they are regulars and constant players that willing to spend
money killing time and trying their lucks .
I do agree that summer is a great time to gamble, for having free time, but that is mainly on the casino games and not betting. I still think that sportsbetting is huge, compared to anything else in life, makes people feel like there isn't a house edge and they actually have a chance to make money from just sportsbetting alone as a career if they know the teams well enough, and that is good during winter. Not really winter to be fair, it goes from august until around may if I am not wrong, so it's quite a long period of time and we have so many leagues, so many sports, so many things that we can bet on, and that gives us a chance to bet as much as we want and that ain't all that bad.

We are talking about online casino that literally gives convenience to all the players to gamble whenever or wherever they want. I doubt season and event will affect gambling activity here since anyone can play with their free time unlike physical casino that needs to be drive by just to gamble that requires a lot of time which makes it impossible to play when you have something to do like holidays.

You can play online gambling when you are on bathroom or any place when you are relaxing since all games here can be play instantly. I believe what seasonal in casino is the peek of volume of user during event since most of the players is regular due to VIP rewards.
523  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Fee Observer Thread in USD(sat/vB) on: November 04, 2023, 11:06:33 AM
Sup guys!

524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather make your investments in FAIT or CRYPTO? on: November 03, 2023, 05:48:13 PM
The crypto market has an high level of volatility, anyone who is about to make an investment need to have a good understanding of the volatile market. Now the question is even with the volatility will you still choose crypto over fiat when it comes to making investments?

I’m not sure if asking this topic is appropriate since this is Bitcointalk forum and most user here have Bitcoin investment so definitely we are choosing crypto over fiat.

Besides, Volatility is a great factor to have a good profit opportunity for investment. Bitcoin price shows a very good growth for over 13 years of existence which means this kind of volatility is already not gonna matter if your investment is long term. This volatility concern are only for those who purchase Bitcoin and aim to have a small profit in short term.
525  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💰New Bonus System | 💸Get all Bonuses from Rank 1 on: November 03, 2023, 05:28:54 PM
A short report. Betfury began to actively correspond with me via email. In total, I found 3 bugs, 2 with bonuses and 1 with payments.
With the first bug, I was denied a reward, citing the fact that they removed the bug before my report. At the time of sending the report,
the bug was working. The other 2 bugs are still being checked. I should have recorded the bug on video and immediately sent a bug report.

Yeah, You should always backup your claim with video as report for the bug since they can fix it immediately when you report before they acknowledge receiving your report first. This is the gray area of reporting bug on casino since they can fix it immediately without any trace of doing that unless they will show the casino log bug fixes.

I’m not a developer but is the bug report is a major concern for the casino? Because they will surely just do the same on the first report that already fix if this can’t be use to exploit the casino for profit.
526  Local / Pilipinas / May holdings ba kayo na Bitcoin ecosystem project on: November 03, 2023, 03:13:49 PM

Currently holding ICP, STX and QTUM. Hoping na magpump ito ng todo next year sa bullrun once maghype ulit si Bitcoin. Anyone holding this coin?

Interesting video in this tweet, all about Baccarat, it’s origin and history. I find it informative and it’s kinda cool to know about the game you’re playing @ Bitcasino.io

Do we have any avid Baccarat players here?

528  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸$1 000 000 DROP | 🎊Come for the Big Birthday Party on: November 02, 2023, 03:52:44 PM
I found a very serious vulnerability with bonuses in betfury. I checked several times that the bug works.
Made a report to the relevant department for bugs and rewards. I’ll be sure to write down here what the reward will be.

They take a very long time to respond to bug reports by email. The stated 3 days passed for a response, there was no response. I wrote it myself in the live chat and they almost immediately sent me an email that they had just received a bug report and passed it on to the appropriate department. Perhaps they don’t want to pay the bounty and didn’t respond for so long in order to first fix the bug and then answer that there are no bugs.

Can you elaborate more clearly what’s the real status of your report? Does the team already give a feedback in your issue on both love support and email or both still pending response?

Live support usually just forward all the issue without checking if there’s still existing pending report since support change shift and they don’t have any info on what is the report sent to different support or through email. Live support typically response quickly since they are online but they will just forward your issue to the security which is the department who will answer your email. I believe you should use the report to bump your existing report via email so that they will notify security tram about your report.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins Fake? on: November 02, 2023, 03:07:12 PM
One fascinating aspect of altcoins, especially the good ones, is the potential for significant profits. I'm aware that not everyone agrees with this, as there are often arguments that altcoins are just another form of 'shitcoin' meant to deceive and exploit people, with Bitcoin being the only legitimate cryptocurrency.

To cut the chase, what’s your definition of of real cryptocurrency because most of the altcoins is derived from the the idea of Bitcoin blockchain that later on evolved to different protocols just to solve scalability issue on blockchain.

Altcoins is not fake rather just an alternative that’s why they are called altcoin. Bitcoin is ten father of all crypto but that doesn’t mean it’s the only real crypto. Altcoins cover different sector in our life which blockchain technology can be applied.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think a new memecoin $MEMEFARMS will skyrocket in 2023? on: October 30, 2023, 04:43:05 PM

Memefarms is a project that's about to launch, offering useful features such as staking and farming. It boldly asserts itself as superior to other meme coins and aims to deliver outstanding profits to its users within a short span of time.

Staking and farming are the most common used feature on the meme coin industry. I will guess that this token will have token burn feature too while the devs purposely create a massive token supply just to burn without any sense at all.

If you knew exactly how many meme coin being generated in daily basis, I’m sure that you will realized how hard for a certain meme coin to pump since they are all sharing on a a small marketcap that typically dump and pump the market in short period of time. Memecoin is a waste of time and money.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Profit And Conscience on: October 30, 2023, 03:41:46 PM
He thinks that with the lotto outlet, he will encourage people to gamble which is against his morals so it is a battle between his conscience and the profit.

So what's the best decision to take he is afraid if he lets go of this opportunity the lotto agent will eventually find a location in their place and eventually lose the opportunity to make a profit.

Most of the food nowadays especially instant has msg and other preservatives which is harmful to human health yet people still sell it because there’s customer willing to buy it.

It’s same on allowing lotto to lease his space. It’s not his business anymore on what people will do since the business is legal and no one will force people to bet on lotteries. In fact, Lotto is not that much very addictive since the result is not instant. I will understand the concern if we are talking bout here is drugs or anything illegal.
532  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sent Coin by mistake to wrong address and got them back:) on: October 30, 2023, 03:36:56 PM
Lol so I still don't know how it happen but somehow I sent some money to @rat03gopoh how I get his address copied to my clipboard I don't know but I was searched on Google for the address and come up with the holder then contacted him and hope to get it back, 😅  funny story

Surely you accidentally control + c his wallet address when you view one of his post containing his wallet address or when you view his profile.

You are lucky that his an active user here in forum and has a good repute here or else you will not get back your tokens. @Yamane_Keto was right, You didn’t recover it but the guy here in the forum is just a good person since he has no obligation to return it to you since you send it to his address already without him misleading you.
533  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: October 30, 2023, 02:33:52 PM
I am not sure if you have already started with it or not but would be amazing to see your contests getting hosted on the forum. Maybe few games and rounds plus one constant contest of some kind in services section. It’s magical for the casino as well as the forum members. Good luck guys.

Actually, they already launch prediction contest in game and round section before with 4mbtc reward. You can check the previous contest here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5468109.20.

I’m not sure if they are still planning to have another one. Also I notice that coins.game is somehow related to this casino since the reps of coins.game send merit to one of the post of OP here. Coins.game is very active on promotion here on game and rounds. Maybe shuffle will do the same soon.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 30, 2023, 02:29:09 PM
It's probably because that winner knows his friends real well that if the winner isn't avoiding them then that person will inevitably lose the money real fast because either they will ask for a treat from the wins or they would ask him to shoulder their incoming bets or would influence him to bet those wins hoping to strike the iron while it's hot. I don't know the whole story though, it could be that my guess is somewhat right or in the ballpark or that winner isn't really their friend and that amount of money just showed what he really is when it comes to his friends.

Yeah, Most of the time friends will do ask a lot of favor whenever they knew that some of their friend have a lot of money. Although avoiding friends is kinda cruel just because you win especially if you are regularly hanging out with them before you win. Treating them a few beers is not bad to celebrate and he can always decline to any favor such as borrowing money instead of avoiding them since money can be loss but friends stay forever.

I’m not really sure if avoiding is the right choice no matter what kind of friend he has. Maybe just try to communicate first and see how it goes before he decde whether to avoid them or not.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: October 29, 2023, 03:34:14 PM

When we are in a casino and the prohibitions are obvious, due to religion or something like that, it is something that I don't know, it can be counterproductive because there are many things that should be prohibited, such as the killing of people, bombs, and everything that has to do with it. With war, as long as peace is promoted it is a very good thing, but when the word prohibition or something like that exists, sometimes people interpret it as a lack of freedom, and apparently I also see it that way, things in the world must function for those who want to use it, a casino is simply a means of adult entertainment, which requires that the person be 18 years old or be considered of legal age to be able to enter and play, I don't see anything wrong I contrair everything there, I believe that we all have the right to have fun as we want without asking Andie's permission, but yes, without hurting anyone, as long as things happen that way, I think they are welcome and should see it that way.

This is how you interpret prohibition base on your principles but that doesn’t it will apply to others especially to people with religion. We should respect someone faith since that’s what they believe besides they are not restricting you but rather people that belongs to their religion.

It’s surely restrictive in the eyes of normal people doesn’t have religion but this is holy for those who is belong on their religion so we shouldn’t make a comment like this just to prove our point about freedom because it’s their faith and we should respect them. They might saving some of there member from potential problem by restricting them to play since gambling often cause addiction.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you use your free bets to ensure result on: October 29, 2023, 03:27:43 PM
These bonuses are tiring sometimes because of their terms and conditions, you have to roll it over severally before you claim it, if am to advise on the selection it is better on goals in soccer, you have to target teams that score more goals, if you want to select direct win it should be a team that's much in good form,  but also know that no bet is certain, I severally left my bonus to expire because when I win high odd I still need to roll it over, ordinarily I would have win with my normal deposit, so what is the need of making use of the free bet, but if you must bet with this free bet you have to play few games and don't be greedy with odds just pick your few best games I believe you will win if your apply this strategy.

It’s on.y tiring if you are playing just to claim bonuses. This kind of gambling will just make you lose than win since your goal is just to wager and not to win. Claiming this bonus is easy for those natural gambler that gambling with or without bonus since they consider it as extra money for their game while they are naturally playing until they hit the bonus requirements plus the game win.

It’s important to focus on game rather than the bonus since you can earn more if you win on the other hand house edge will surely give you lose long term if you are playing just to breakeven and farm wager.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: October 29, 2023, 02:10:12 PM
Do you think its possible to become addicted to gambling when you haven't win a dime or after you win?

It’s very to become addicted to gambling or in almost everything if you don’t feel good out of it most importantly if you are still new on using it.

I think addiction starts after you win, even if it's just once, that's when you start gambling recklessly and you also start betting higher.

Exactly, the taste of victory is what makes people hook on gambling because they can earn profit quickly while there’s a chance for them earn even more when they hit a lucky bet like on slot jackpot. Having an experience of small win while there’s a promising chance of higher profit makes gambling very addictive.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anti-Gambling Tools on: October 29, 2023, 12:50:57 PM
Once you have involved yourself in it becomes almost impossible for you to control your urge, you always want to go for more, more especially if you have not win for a while, the mindset is that, I will win, this I will win syndrome has made so many people lose funds meant for other things.

These tools should be personal, developing these tools needs seriousness and discipline to keep the action going, it has to be clear to us that gambling being an addictive behaviour should be avoided by folks who can't control the hunger when it comes.
This stuff keeps pushing even when you say no to it, I will say that determination is just the way forward and the answer to this situation.

You already mention that it’s already impossible to control urge once you already involved which means developing your own tool will not gonna be helpful too since you knew exactly how this tools work and you can make a loophole so that you can bypass this tool just to meet your gambling urge.

Therapy is best way to deal with gambling addiction and not kind of tool that can be easily avoid the restrictions.
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed or risk on: October 29, 2023, 12:47:26 PM
I confess that I can't understand some things in this post. this barcelona game against real madrid was a game they played in yesterday. Barcelona scored the first goal in the 6th minute of the game, so the odds value for Real Madrid to win the game went up a lot and the value of the money that this guy bet went down a lot, I estimate that if he wanted to make cash he would probably only have 30% of the money he bet, meaning he would be left with a 70% loss. so it is not true that he could cashout in this game and make a profit. And I'll say more, Real Madrid tied the game in the 68th minute and therefore the cashout value would probably be around 50%, meaning the guy who made that bet would have a 50% loss if he cashed out.

If you check his screenshot shared. Cashout value is not visible on the screenshot so probably he mistakenly assumed that the amount in the screenshot next to the stake amount is the cashout value since the cashout button is right below the value on the screenshot he show.

I check too the game when I read this post and it really doesn’t make sense that cashout is available when the enemy team is already score since cashout typically not available after the first half.
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whether Bitcoin ETFs are approved or not, we expect bullish trend on: October 28, 2023, 03:52:15 PM
In this situation, if Bitcoin ETF applications are not approved, will Bitcoin not be bullish? Only 2 months left of this year. We expect a potential halving event for Bitcoin in the coming year of 2024. If the Bitcoin ETF is not approved by this time, could we still see a bullish movement in Bitcoin price Until the Halving event ends?

Most probably the price will retraced since this recent pump is due to pure speculation about potential ETF approval of Blackrock. Bitcoin price is always sensitive to any hype or FUD news that makes it too volatile. Bitcoin price sudden jump from 27k to 30K with just a mere fake news from cointelegraph. This show how easy to manipulate the price in short term but i still believe that even with price retrace the Bitcoin rally will continue since Bitcoin halving is only few months aways.

ETF hype is just a stepping stone to one of the major event on Bitcoin that is consistent that giving hype the price in long term due to the increase on mining difficulty.
