What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?
I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
I'd rather leave them alone. Let them have interest of BTC spontaneously. That would be a lot better. You know, you try to convince people to do or focus or learn something, they do the contrary. For sure, as BTC becomes famous and widespread they will encounter it more often and then they will learn the advantages and good sides of it. And then they will soon be joining us here.  |

This is 2017 already. So I will give you my 2018 coins list because we are more than halfway there. I will grab some Verge, Ripple, Stratis, DGB, Waves, Siacoin, and some more.
There are many coins that are worth waiting for last year actually. The larger the investment, the larger the profit.

What are your plans currently and what are you planning to do before this date? sell everything? hodl no matter what? maybe try to profit from a chain split? I'm personally still confused and I'm not sure what to do, I prefer waiting to see what is the standpoint of more exchanges and services.
Hold on to it. But I think the decision of many others to jump into alts before August 1 comes is also a wise one. Either of the two really. If you are holding on to some BTC right now, holding it will have no problem. Just do not do transactions involving BTC while the decision is not reached yet. After that I know the price will gain trust again and soar very high. |

I'm just curious. What if bitcoin and any other alts market fall and you invested all your money into this. Would you rather do Panic Selling? and How would you compensate all your losses?
No, don't do panic selling. That is never a good thing to do. The word panic, even if applied to anything else is never good. If you did study the basics of trading before you entered into it, you would have known that emotions have no place in trading. If you are holding on to some alts and bitcoin right now, they will most probably be losing. Hold on still. You are already losing anyway. If you want to compensate for your loss, don't sell. These coins won't just die because of this price dip. After this downward trend, an upward trend will take place. |

Buy now, that is before August 1. Earn profits later, that is after August 1. You have this entire July for buying. When August enters, hold them in a very safe place. After the parties have agreed about the final decision and the smoke clears down, the price will start to recover. It will be very fast. The line on the graph will be uphill.

They have been coexisting for some time now. Although there are ETH haters around. They say the only real crypto is bitcoin. I think ETH is a real crypto. There are also some more others who are also legitimate in their own usage. Remember that tokens are coming in numbers but they have a unique purpose to fulfill.

Hi still a newbie trader here. Just want to know. If All altcoins are down since last few weeks. How do traders maker their earnings during this bitcoin correction / retracement. All my polo coins are bought while Bitcoin is 2900usd in the past few months. Now I am HODLing like forever  All my coins are in bloody red, I have negative -20% to -30% profit. Please suggest something. There is no need to worry my friend. Earnings in trade is not on a daily basis. If you are new, let me tell you that you are on a rollercoaster ride. It will not be all upward, there has to be downward. Fluctuation is real. The price is volatile. If everything is on a flat line then there would be no need for a trader, no need for some skills and analysis, no need for the "buy high sell low" strategy. All these are temporary and will not last long. In general, in trading, take advantage of anything that happens and that is currently happening in the market. |

I did not sell anything because I do not want to sell while losing. If my investment has terrible losses I would rather hold it than sell and accumulate losses. The sad thing is that I was one of those who are holding some when the serious dipping of price happened. Until now I am acquiring losses. And so I think the wisest thing to do is wait for them to regain price.

Just imagine. If ALL OF US would be rich, that means we would live our lives out from dividends, or any passive income of at least $1k a month. Then it would be jawesome, right ? Well, but then I do have a question.
WHO on this Earth would bake the bread for ALL OF US ?

Even if so, even if there would be a Skynet of robots, who would not just bake the bread, but also harvest the grains, transport it, deliver to our doors. What then ?
We could eat for free, as much as you want?
Cool, but what about overweight then.
Doctor? But hey wait, NO ONE on this Earth work, so we have no doctors.
OK, we have Doctor Robots.
Who would teach our kids? Robots! Who would change the diapres? Robot!
Even if humans would master all this, we would need to have all the knowledge to teach our robots to work for us. To be slaves for us. (no minds, just pure robotic hands/arms and so on, Tesla's and autopilots)
But even then, there is one huge problem.
I do not want to touch any country, or race, or group of people, but imagine, if you put infinite amount of resources to any kind of animal (including humans), they would reproduce themselves to infinite. Because they simply can. Because parents do not need to parent their kids anymore, because we have robots! So we would need a limit of reproducing, no right to reproduce as much as you can handle (infinite resources), because we would simple have like 50-100billion people on this planet, and there would be no robots who could grow so much grains to bake bread. (perhaps hyper dense pills could be the away).
So, back to the original question, why do people believe, they all can be rich ?
It was, is, and will be, ALWAYS about that who is going to earn more, not enough, but more than the others.
Why?
If there is only one mansion on the Bahamas, which is large enough, sunny enough, sexy enough, there is no freaking way, ALL OF US could buy it. Just one. 1. One. And if only 10 buyers come with their million, to who would seller sell this mansion to? First ? But second also have million and ALL OF US want to be rich (own that one mansion). So second would have to offer 2 million, right?
Wrong.
No one would want to sell such mansion in the first place, as he is already rich. We all are.
You've got a very long story there bro. Kind of beating around the bush. We all want to be rich of course. That's very basic. Everyone is doing their best and trying hard to become rich since the beginning. But there is still poverty right? There will always be that kind of balance. |

I sell when I am already gaining a moderate profit. I do not set a high percentage for my gain before I sell. I have been there already and ended up getting lower. But it also depends though. If the speculation is really high for a particular coin I might wait for a while.

Right now, yes I am very much dissapointed. The prices of my altcoins are almost halved in value. That is not something I can just set aside as if it is not a problem. But all these are paper loss. I know these will all bounce back in due time. But it really worries me every time I check on it.

People are scared from 1st August BIG DROP, it is coming fast and price are already going down.
I think we need to refuge in some coins to evitate loosing moneys.

I have sent BTC yesterday but one day passed it is not confirmed, I have raised mining fee, this sucks.
We are all waiting, and unfortunately I have to adapt to this. I made a transaction three days ago, but it has not been confirmed yet. But bitcoin will not die. wow...we have the same experience dude...but i agree with you...bitcoin will never die Never say never. At one point, all things must come to an end. So does bitcoin, and you, and me. But not soon. Bitcoin will still achieve its grandest price ever. And make people rich. Just have patience with your transaction guys. Perhaps there is so much traffic in the blockchain. I think bitcoin transactions these days are getting higher. This is partly because of the intensified buying and selling due to the August 1 segwit. |

I don't understand the point about telling everyone in advance?
Simply for people to get curious and closely monitor their "mega" plan. And by the time they will make the announcement, those who were convinced of it will most likely flock the exchange platform, buy some, and join the, well, I hope there is going to be a real party. Do some assessment and analysis before you decide for yourself. |

Bitcoin is not yet at the right age to compete head to head with the current fiat currencies in any country. Yes, it is being used worldwide but too early to be compared to USD for example. And especially right now when a split is coming our way, I don't think bitcoin is as stable as the established as fiat currencies. It will find its perfection though as it grows older.

I have a very hard time syncing. It will take a very long time I think. Are you guys having the same problems?
Also, I cannot find the private key. I cannot finish the instructions given in their site regarding 1.) Help 2.) Debug Window 3.) Console because I don't have my 5-numbers private key.

I download the wallet last month but its still good still sync in my computer i recieve some coins also and staking so i think there is no problem with tha wallet maybe you try to download again the wallet and wait to finish the siync so you see if the wallet is fine when i download it takes time to sync maybe because its already old wallet. Oh I see. Thank you. But will I receive the token from my earlier tweet even if my wallet is still syncing until now? I might not be able to receive them, right? |
