521  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are there needed general (common sense) rules for signature campaigns? on: February 12, 2020, 07:18:10 AM

And all these lead me to ask some suggestions / questions about common sense campaigns and participants rules, as it follows:

[1] All managers ask (or should ask) for "constructive posts". What are "constructive posts"? How can we define constructive posts? Should they be defined as "replies on the subject, no matter their length" (including one liners)? Or should they be considered constructive only if they meet a minimum character length? I saw that some managers accept small posts as being valid for their campaigns, while others don't. No matter if the posts are on subject and usefull; they just deny them. We need a consensus here.
From what I understand, a constructive post is a post that's on-topic not off-topic. Making a constructive post on a spam mega thread will make the post close to less constructive.

[2] Should some boards be banned from any campaign? I saw that some managers say that posts in some sections are not accepted; other say that posts from other boards are not accepted. Can be a general rule for boards not accepted in any campaign? Example: ban all posts from Politic&Society and Off-topic boards.
This is already like a general rules here. Technically, posts in off-topic won't really get the campaign what they need. It's just like running  a Facebook ad, targeting Males for a female product.

[3] Should participants be accepted only if they meet a certain amount of merits in the past 1-2 months prior applying to the campaign (and also prior being accepted inside the campaign)? And another suggestion here, the merit number could be fixed for each kind of rank, but lower for low rank users and bigger for higher rank users. Currently, out of 21 signature campaigns, only 4 or 5 have a merit requirement; can such requirement be implemented for all campaigns? But I'm not talking about a trivial minimum threshold as the actual one is (5 merits); I'm talking about a serious threshold, such as 20-30 merits.
Making merit requirements for each ranks doesn't really make a lot of sense. And having 20-30 merit in the last 120 days won't work out because sometimes, it's somehow hard to meet that.
522  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM BOT] Merit, Trust List, etc. [INFORMATION] on: February 11, 2020, 09:03:24 AM
This is really a good improvement as a beginner. But here is what I observed, the merit earned in 120 days isn't accurate. I've earned over 65 merits in the last 120 days.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :-> on: February 11, 2020, 06:58:43 AM
Paper money and coins has been known to carry viruses like Norovirus, Hepatitis A virus, Rotavirus. Virus can survive well on coins.
Great idea to adopt digital payment like bitcoin.

525  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet should I use for Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2020, 08:00:07 PM
Waht do you think of the most secure option wallet?
I prefer to use Wallet on my Android phone.
The most secured wallet for me is Coinbase because i have used it for years and i don't encounter any system errors such as hacking, slow transaction, security problems and etc. So i think if you are looking for a secured wallet i suggest you should really used Coinbase wallet.

Coinbase doesn't give you full control over your wallet and because you have been using it for years doesn't validate your point.
Not your key, not your wallet.

For me, I use Mycellium wallet which gives you addresses like segwit, and legacy address. You can also connect with hardware wallet like Keepkey, Ledgers, etc.
526  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ | Up to 0.0375 BTC/w on: February 08, 2020, 10:45:13 PM
Here is a list of known wallets that support Segwit addresses.

Just adding one more.
Exodus too supports Bech32 addresses, they added it this year.

Just a little correction, bech32 addresses wasn't added to Exodus wallet this year, it has been on it for long time. Exodus has been one of my favourite wallets.
527  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trade without fees on: February 08, 2020, 06:46:02 PM
Never heard of your website before and I'm sure there isn't any exchange out there that would want to try this without setting a ridiculous fee for withdrawal.
And don't think anyone would submit their personal details because of the no-fee offer.
528  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign rule - minimum of 20 posts must be in Gambling :D on: February 08, 2020, 05:04:16 PM
Minimum of 20 posts per week isn't a problem people active in gambling second because that's owner of the campaign wants but it would slowly become spam as time goes on because 20 posts in gambling is 80% of the minimum posts per week which is 25.  There's so much mega threads in the gambling section.
529  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] blender.io Signature Campaign | Sr./Hero&Legendary Members | on: February 07, 2020, 10:41:16 PM
No need to apologise, I will wait for your next update before I'll decide to leave it on or not. I just hope for good news because there's no campaign out there.
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **TAKE YOUR COINS OFF EXCHANGES** on: February 07, 2020, 10:17:03 PM
This advise has been told here many times but here's why some people keep there funds there:
- To avoid paying withdrawal fee twice
Imagine paying for withdrawal for sending tokens to your personal wallet and having to pay again when you trade it to another coin or fiat.

- Active trader
Active traders tends to keep their funds on exchanges for urgent reason. Some use bot to do their trading and it requires them to leave funds there almost permanently.

The thing here is that most people are always slightly lucky during exchange hacks because it won't be funny when your little fund gets stucked the moment you're just trying to sell off.
531  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies attention. Don't get trap yourself with greed. on: February 05, 2020, 03:36:37 PM
This  a very old method used by scammers. They create a site and tell you they can make you win huge amount of money. You then try to withdraw and you get a prompt that you should deposit some amount due to some policies blah blah blah.
Just ignore them or tell them to use the code by themsel.
Good thing you expose them because some people aren't aware of this tactic.
532  Other / Politics & Society / 4000+ Bitcoin Up for Auction on: February 05, 2020, 11:15:55 AM
The U.S Marshal service has decided to put approximately 4,040 Bitcoin siezed from criminals, civil and administrative cases on an auction.

Image Source: Crypto Coin Trader Facebook Group
What bothers me right now is
- What if the winner decides to dump right away?
- Why ask for a 200,000$ deposit?
- Does the proceed go to people after the auction?
- Why not sell an asset worth 40mln dollars at current price and use the money to pay depts?
533  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Quick Guide] deltabalances guide on: February 04, 2020, 11:45:22 PM
I remember using deltabalances back in the day for tracking my ERC20 token balances and value both in my Ether address and the DEX smart contracts.
Deltabalance seems old nowadays because most bounty doesn't talk about it's also used as an explorer on most ETH wallet app. Most of them use etherscan.io and it's because of the new features they keep adding everytime. Example like tagging a scam contract address, balance statistics(highest bal and lowest bal), and some other cool features.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running an online Bitcoin gambling website on: February 04, 2020, 09:01:39 PM
I have a few questions regarding running a Bitcoin gambling website online.

I am located in Canada. So I'm not sure if it's legal for me run a site like this online from within Canada.

If it is legal for me to host the site else where, where is it possible for me to host it and do I need to get it licensed or it's okay to operate without a license since it's crypto.

I advise you to search a lawyer specialised in this matter instead of following any advice you get on an online forum.

I do know in a lot of jurisdictions it's NOT ok to run a crypto casino since it's *just* crypto
This is the reason OP asked just to know and you as a forum member already offered him a bit of a solution and other replies after yours have given him answers.

There are lot of gambling sites owner on here though but it's better you do proper research online before consulting a lawyer.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Blind Person Access Bitcoin? on: February 04, 2020, 07:54:01 PM
Developing this for blind is a very thoughtful but they can never get full control of their wallet without assistance which can end up hurting them if the other person decides to snatch it. Some are having tough time with physical money. It's meant to be decentralized without third party.
Other disabilities like deafness can still operate a crypto wallet.
536  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBitcoin.io - New Project on: February 03, 2020, 05:41:35 PM
Quote
FaucetBitcoin is a site with features where members can earn Bitcoin with no popups!

Firstly, I got served with an ad covering a large part of my screen with no one likes. Ads also popup on every page.
Secondly, the "how it works" page is just blank giving visitors no info about the site.
Thirdly, the lifetime referrals commission is not clear. I don't know if it's based on deposit made or winnings.
537  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Popularize Bitcoin with another way : lasers and technology danceshow on: February 02, 2020, 09:44:09 PM
Not a bad idea though, watched, liked and subscribed.
But make the video more informative next time because all I see is the bitcoin logo and the quote at the end which wasn't really necessary.
You really tried with most part of the description but you should know that most viewers don't read description but want to see something meaningful.
Also try to enable the comment section  Wink
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not we donate some Bitcoin for corona virus? on: February 01, 2020, 09:50:36 PM
I know this forum members are really trying when it comes to raising donations to assist people, I've seen similar threads. But we shouldn't let this divert our attention because China has enough funds to tackle this. We may not even get any recognition because the funds that will be donated here can't be up to the millions of dollars other big crypto projects have donated.
Best thing is to chose a reputable member of this forum that lives there and use the donation to get safety items especially the N95 masks.
539  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Lost my money through electrum withdraw on: February 01, 2020, 04:07:33 PM
Op is long gone.

 So was it a troll?

A newbie that gave up in disgust

or a clever way to start a thread SO SIGNATURE'S GET PAID

Oh well we will never know.

Op and I are the only ones with out a paid signature campaign.

It's either he gave up because he doesn't know his way around this forum thinking he would receive notification for new response, or he has sorted it out already. But good thing solution has already been provided which is going to be useful for other members that doesn't know this.
u cant recover your wallet bro becouse u did wrong things
I guess you read the whole thread before you dropped this. Op is looking to recover BTC not wallet.
540  Other / Archival / Re: [WTS]Apple Music Subscription On Your Apple ID [No Need Apple ID Password] on: February 01, 2020, 03:23:41 PM
Apple Music costs $10/month, so... $12 for how long? What is the origin of this subscription and how legal is that? What are the guarantees that it will keep working for the time you say it will work and that this isn't a risk for my Apple account?
Apple Music Family account subscription costs 14$ and up to 6 members can be added on Apple family sharing. But it better not be that he will remove a member before the end of the subscription period and replace someone else because I'm not sure there's a way he's going to sort that part.
