541  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: btcgarden-AM-v1 down to $0.68/GHs. In stock for international selling! on: September 01, 2014, 08:46:10 PM
That is great news.
Can you link it for me?

Is there any new firmware for the BTC Gardens yet?
The last I have it 7-19 and while it is ok it is still buggy.
The API is messed up as well as programs like MultiMiner can find them but they show as idle when they are running fine.
There's an 8-28 firmware available for download now.  You can now upgrade firmware from within the UI.

I see it no worries.

Do you have an image link?
Thanks for the heads up.

We use Awesomeminer - picks them right up and doesnt seem to have any issues.

I don't know do you know which is the correct one?

What did I just read?
Why you didn't quote the above question?
Do you think I can't read the thread's title?
Do you think it is that simple?
By that, do you mean a simple question that may have a complicated answer, or a question of arbitrary complexity that has a simple answer?
Abiding by this thread's title -Answer the question above with a question. -, (note to self: fresh up on comma after dash proper usage) how the fuck did I miss this question?
Did you aim at it while drunk?
Wasn't this question just answered?
It depends, which branch of the question chain is the good one now?
546  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: September 01, 2014, 06:30:50 PM
Drunk can be fun sometimes but I hate hangovers.
Dont you hate hangovers?

Are you drunk or what??
I know what it mean to be 'drunk', but what does it mean to be 'what'?

547  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 01, 2014, 05:56:57 PM
Excellent I did update.
So far running well.

Zvisha what goodies are in the SP30 2.3.30 update it is prompting me to install?

Depends on what you have )
I would install, it solves the cold boot bug.
There are a lot of small things, like more threads in httpd.

I think maybe because they are so intertwined yet separate.
Do you think it could be worse though?

why would it matter?
Why would it energy?

Why does the universe get a hard-on when matter and energy are discussed?

550  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [11000 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+NMC, Stratum, VarDiff, Private Servers on: August 31, 2014, 10:18:14 PM
It definitely is.
Both the FriedCat Tube and Rockminer T1 that use the BE200 controller cannot connect to only the one address.
Strangely enough I can connect to NastyPool with them.
It is very confusing that is for sure.

I have it working with BTCG as well as the T1 which uses the same controller.
You have to use the lb BTCG server.

Eleuthria is it ok to share that server address? Rockminer had me use it for the T1 review.

In other words, their built in stratum controller doesn't work with BTC Guild because they didn't implement client.reconnect, joy.  It works just fine if you direct connect to the redirect URL?
Their stratum implementation is broken in many ways I'm afraid...
551  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: [ANN] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining for everyone on: August 31, 2014, 05:00:15 AM
This is great! I am going to point some power at it when I get home
It will be interesting to see how it goes.
Excellent work as always.

Here's what's been going on in ck-coding land with a quote from my post in the pools subsection:

552  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ZenMiner (unmoderated) service discussion thread on: August 31, 2014, 04:55:02 AM
It has been working fine for me. If you have issues get ahold of Eric from zenminer he can get a ticker set and fix your issue.

Can anyone withdrawal on zinminer? I haven't been able to withdrawal for a week now

You mean ZenCloud?

Yes zencloud
553  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [11000 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+NMC, Stratum, VarDiff, Private Servers on: August 31, 2014, 04:52:24 AM
Yes it works fine with the direct connect one. The one with USA and lb in it.
This is the same controller for both the Friedcat tube and the Rockminer T1.
Rockminer has told me they are working on updates to it but I have heard nothing on Friedcats end. I keep checking the threads.
The controller is odd to say the least. Powerful in some aspects and the lacking I others like failover pools and such.

554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner: Any Miner, Any Where, on Any Device (Free, Open Source, Cross Platform) on: August 31, 2014, 04:48:38 AM
Hi Nate when I get home tomorrow I will start in that and hopefully Monday or Tuesday we can get you into seeing them.
I think it is their software it is not bad but it could be so much better. I have a feeling there is something missing.
I know Matt at Minersource has been after them to fix some issues as well with their software.
I will do what I can to help you figure it out.

All three systems have the default names that MM gave them.  I used to name them and that worked great until a few versions ago when I mentioned it first happened.
I went through and did fresh installs of all three windows machines and MM. This is what I get now.  I will turn off the net detect on two of them but it thought it odd it was never an issue before and now it is.
Also any idea why it detects the BTC Gardens but says they are idle when they are not?

Can you email me at nwoolls @ gmail and set me up with access to these BTC Gardens rigs? I'm seeing reports for other software as well that they aren't responding to regular RPC API calls, so it may be a wide spread issue with those devices...
555  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ZenMiner (unmoderated) service discussion thread on: August 30, 2014, 11:50:50 PM
Always have to start somewhere, mining is a never ending treadmill that is of sure.

Yeah , i wish I started earlier :/ Unfortunately you could buy 3 hashlets (now prime hashlets ) for the price I paid for my one :/

So far not a good deal comparing to early adopters but I am hoping I will be early adopter as well like 6 months from now people will be paying much more than this and I will consider myself lucky Cheesy Hopefully of course.
556  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ZenMiner (unmoderated) service discussion thread on: August 30, 2014, 11:37:18 PM
The controller is definitely nice that is for sure. I reviewed them whe they first came out with a falcon.
They are going to be rolling out some updates to it in the next few weeks as well.
It should be good.

Yeah it is very easy to use actually and it looks very neat Cheesy so far happy customer.
557  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: August 30, 2014, 11:35:17 PM
That is too funny. I wonder just his many uses you can find for it.

I did notice the lack of pictures of small miners in this thread, it means that mining is really turning to be a corporate professional task since the introduce of ASICs.

How's this for small:

It runs much cooler than the old 65nm BFL hardware I'm going to finally retire after the cold winter months are done with, and without all the hardware errors I had on the BFL --- this is stable at 107-119 GH/s mostly, even when I'm playing flappy bird...

Most of what I've been doing has been OS / rom hacks and stuff like removing the bamc it came with and clearing out to make room for more games and other non-mining stuff.
558  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ZenMiner (unmoderated) service discussion thread on: August 30, 2014, 11:32:15 PM
That is good new. I just ran across the previous posts and was going to ask about activation.
Cool deal!

Yeah I have not activated mine obviously ahahahha , as soon as i did , it started hashing away.

A question about the new tube miner from friedcat.  Nice guy that he is the supplied ethernet controller only allows for 1 pool 'ghash'

There are workarounds using a BFGminer proxy to let me mine it here. I wonder if you can find a way to get the tube miner to work here using the supplied ethernet controller.

I  complained to friedcat here;
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735728.msg8596415#msg8596415

the general tube threads:

BTW : I like this pool and continue to point some s-3s at this pool.

Repeatedly.
You should know that by now.
Why don't you know that by the way?

Has anybody else noticed all the grammar errors that started after that comma showed up earlier?

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8Gv0H-vPoDc
Why is there a youtube link in your post?
What's the youtube video about?
Would you believe it Weird that 16,421,997 (is an evil number, because the sum of its binary digits is even) people watched it?
<Aside: non-orthodox question marks <--- good one!>
Not really, i mean, who would?
Would you find it weird if I said that I liked that video?
Why would i, or anyone for that matter, find it weird?
Why should anyone care at all?
Now how do i answer this question with another question?

how do you answer any question with another question?
