541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At the end of the year! on: May 13, 2020, 11:15:32 PM
I don't know why crypto experts/analysts always play safe by saying at the end of the year that coin price will go in that place/price! So, people wait 12 months to see it if they are right or wrong?! At the end of 2017, that was a miracle and after that so-called analyzer keeps predicting a high price by setting the timeline at the end of the year! We saw what happened in 2018 and 2019! It's better to learn the price chart and see other things to make your own prediction and strategy. Don't fall in words guys that Reddit co-owner, or Twitter owner or any other big names predict a high price, always do your own research in every sector in crypto. Good Luck.

One thing that is usually prominent at the end of the year is that, everyone across the world wants to spend more money (fiats) during the christmas period, new year, and also the Chinese new year. This is what leads to so many hodlers taking profits, to enable them use fiats for their celebrations.

But it happened last year does not mean it will happen this year as well, and apart from learning price chart, i think understanding chart flow is also a very important factor.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your help guys! on: May 13, 2020, 11:10:55 PM
My sister wants to invest into this project: https://www.dxrcointrade.com/ but for me it looks like a scam... can you guys help me get redflags? what you guys think?

One of the important qualities if you want to be a crypto investor is instincts, and i am glad that you have one.
You already noticed that the project looks scammish, Go through the website and check for the following,

About the project.
The team
Products
Whitepaper (check its eligibility).

To my understanding, looking at the website, i will rather you invest in bitcoin or etherum, don't near that webpage at all.
543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trade & investment is getting harder and harder. on: May 12, 2020, 10:10:53 PM
what I am experiencing right now is that it is difficult for me to obtain profits from investments and trade that I do, & is there someone here who has more effective ways for me to be able to improve my trade and investment so that I can get a profit of course, not vice versa I get is continuous loss.

In situations as this, the first to find out the routine of your losses, do they folllw the same pattern? If yes, you need to revisit your trading strategies, if no, then you need to figure what you are doing wrongly.

Trading and investment are easy, if we learn from the mistakes we make
544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: During a bull market, cash out in what? on: May 12, 2020, 10:09:03 PM
Let's assume that in the next bull market the portfolio is worth so much that you would have been financially secure for the rest of your life. How would you restructure your portfolio to ensure its value? Cash all out in Fiat, Stablecoins, all or part of it in Bitcoin?

Believe me, if i get that amount of cash out from profits and that huge, i am withdrawing over 85% in fiats and investing in gold and other offline stuffs.

The remaining 15% will be shuffled around new crypto investment
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Akoin by Akon – Your views? on: May 11, 2020, 10:25:43 PM
1. The project akoin has been around for a while and anchored by the popular akon for grass-roots development in Senegal i think.

2. The project has failed to generate necessary hypes and i believe this is because it is more of a Donating platform than for investment because funds received are for designated goals already aligned.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to become a professional Trader (PRO) ? on: May 11, 2020, 10:18:12 PM
Becoming a pro in trading crypto currency is beyond having a right mindset or management skills.

Trading demands you to read, study, master the arts of chart reading, source out for information, relate it to the curves of the trade...

Then practice, fail, practice, fail again until you are able to understand a strategy suited to your personality
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: May 11, 2020, 10:13:46 PM
Can is a very huge word in crypto currency space. And investments can never be relied on the word can.

You listed coins, but you failed to mention tge factors you considered before claiming this tokens are credible or bullish on the long term.

It's not only about choosing a token, you must find reasons why it must have a better price tomorrow and they have to be realistic reasons.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take profit on: May 11, 2020, 10:10:58 PM
Can bros tell me I should choose send my coin to masternode or stake or lending to take more profit. What is the best? How to avoid the scam from them?  Huh Huh Huh . Tks sirs

My favorite word in crypto currency is take profit.

To avoid scams from masternodes, you need to do alot of research, figure out how each nodes work and source of each masternode platforms. Also remember that all that glitters is not gold.

You can look up the iqcash masternodes, and figure out if its okay with you. It is not an investment advice, so do your own research and get more findings
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the halving will end the downtrend of the last price circle on: May 11, 2020, 10:07:50 PM
The halving took place and I have to say it has been quiet in the market tonight.

There has been little signs of altcoins bull run a little, but there should be more. This is the time to be very watchful of you invest short term, you cannot get carried away.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Biggest Lesson you've learnt from Bitcoins Investment on: May 10, 2020, 10:15:12 PM
One lesson i have learnt trading and hodling bitcoin is that the coin bitcoin is not only versatile but bullish.

What i mean is that, bitcoin is bullish on the long term approach, if Bitcoin dumps, it has higher chances of experiencing a bull run than most altcoins.

My doubts or questions though is that, will this continue as the 3rd halving is here??
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Usefulness of stablecoin on: May 10, 2020, 10:03:46 PM
Stable coins are versatile coins and hardly can you get profits trading stable coins.

But they are safe havens, the fastest way to avoid a bear trap is by selling your portfolios to Stable coins.

The best way to buy the dips at the bear market is by holding stable coins and waiting patiently.

Either usdt or tusd, or busd, stable coins makes alot of stuffs easy while trading
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful on project that changes contract address like liker.world on: May 10, 2020, 09:58:15 PM
There is actually nothing wrong when a project changes its smart contracts it means 2 things.

1. That the project is adjusting their supply
2. That the project is changing their blockchain or moving to their mainnet.

And most times there are two ways to change smart contract,

1. Automatic swaps for all hodlers.
2. Individual swapping.

If any projects swap not using the automatic method and refusing to inform hodlers, then they should be tag and reported as frauds.
553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving Bitcoin happens, icebergs melt, the sea turns red. ??? on: May 10, 2020, 09:51:28 PM
There are so many stories and analysis about what will happen when bitcoin eventually halves this year, and believe me i see all those analysis as a joke.

The bitcoin halving in few hours will bring about events that the space has never witnessed or experienced before, everyone should brace theirself up for which ever happens first, cos that's what matters.

Do your own research though
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH decentralized? on: May 10, 2020, 09:48:44 PM
Etherum is decentralized and It is free and even easy to access by most newbies, it is easy to create its smart contracts and run it, its even easier to create an etherum wallet.

Ignore vitaliks influence on the project and let's focus on the positives, i see etherum more decentralized than most altcoins
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which projects do you hold? Which ones do you believe in? on: May 09, 2020, 09:00:45 PM
The truth about crypto currency investment or token hodl is that, you should and should not investment based on your emotional attachments to the project.

Do not believe in the project directly; believe in the findings that you have made about the project which ensures that it definitely gonna be success and bring you profits.
I am just been objective to the cause of true investment which is to make profit.

Top of it all, always do your own research and i hodl only BTC.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Million money is a wrong way, if truly you owant to invest in crypto currency on: May 09, 2020, 08:43:09 PM
My attention has been drawn to a certain ponzi scheme on the trust app dapp, they call it million money and the scheme uses etherum for its ponzi activity.

Please do not be deceived, investment in million money ponzi scheme is not the same as investing in crypto currency.
The perpetrators are saying invest in etherum through million money but it js wrong, it is phishing and the wrong way of investment.

The ponzi targets newbie who has no idea how crypto works, then employs crypto experts yo spread liea about how it leads to etherum investment.

Please let's stay clear of million money
Thank you for giving me important information, now there are a lot of Dapp projects with the Ponzi scheme,
but it's better to follow the staking program than to have to follow the Ponzi scheme, so right?  Grin

Yes you are right, it is better to stake on legit exchange platforms with safu funds, than to participate in ponzis.
One thing about ponzis is that it is bound to fail in the end, either it survives weeks, months or a year; the system is bound to fail.

Million money is another dapp disguised as an investment pattern; luring newbies in with 0.03eth as registration and thereby tarnishing the reputation of crypto currency to newbies; and remember newbies are potential investors; we must keep telling the difference between a ponzi and true staking by speaking out against the ponzis.

Avoid million money platform that uses trust wallet for its ponzis; it is a ponzi and not crypto currency investment.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] Ethereum = Scam on: May 09, 2020, 08:37:38 PM
Ethereum is posted i see today as the big new story at Coindesk !
and i made a comment on it but it's of course awaiting moderation so i bet they will delete it.

Bottom line it's a dumb idea and it's an IPO and IPO's in crypto are ALL scams.
My advice to people is to avoid shit like this and notice who is jamming it down your throat too !
i came here today and out of nowhere page one is bloated with Ethereum topics.

i am going to copy what i posted at Coindesk to explain the reasoning behind why i think IPO's are scammy.

Note:
I just checked and Coindesk let me post my comment and replied "LOL"
i LOL'd too hhaha

ok so with out further ado, here is your new opinion everyone (the correct one) ..your welcome Wink

Belief in it doesn't matter, you arguing with a bag holder.
So XYZ scam is great.. no what (to them)

It could be Kick-A-Puppy Coin and these same guys will come here and babble on their usual dumb bs..

They have to..
Or else their IPO scam is going to make them broke.
Further more it's clear staff here pushed this through because their bag holders too.. guaranteed.
It's all rather transparent and obvious to people with a brain hat is going on and there is need to give my interpretation of it etc.

I doubt even 1% of the people coming here need to be convinced for or against this crap..

What we do in fact having going on in a tug of war for media perception as to whether this scheme (or others) is convincing enough to lure in enough of the usual guys.

Because nobody !
and i mean NOOOOOBOOOOOOODY
cares about chow scammy or stupid some stunt scheme is.
ALL they care about is can they get in on it and make some money on it before it crash into the dirt.
I am not the only one who sees a red flag with anything that has an IPO or "Angel Investing" or "Crowd Funding" etc
They are ALL scammy pyramid schemes.. designed for no other purpose than to get Bitcoin to cash out to fiat.

AND..

Even if a few of these IPO scams are honest and legit it still does not change the important point that IPO's and similar were before and still are just a porting of a concept from a REGULATED market to a FREE market.

You see an IPO in the NYSE is regulated and protects all parties involved with massive amounts of rules and oversight.
In our Crypto scene it's a gimmick and a tool to part you with your Bitcoin.. legally !

No one in crypto shoudl get involved in crap like this until we have our own Crypto-version of Berni Madoff serving time for a ponzi scheme or we have our own version of Martha Stewart serving time for Insider trading until then..

It simply is NOT fair and safe or possibly even legal what these guys are doing and if regulation is looming and imposed with out warning you people out there supporting crap like this could wound up waking up tomorrow with charges laid against you.

Be careful investing in crap copied from a REGULATED market with laws.. we are in a free market where Ponzi schemes, Insider Trading and outright fraud etc.. is legal.

Use your brains and keep the greed in check guys lol

Or don't and suffer the consequences and roll out the cliche's Crypto-Excuses™ i hear ever day lol

and.. and..
This comment is (of course) awaiting moderation LOL

When our elders say time flies so fast, this is just an example of it.

The introduction of bitcoin and crypto currency the years back brought so many doubts and expressed thousands of uncertainties. I definitely would not judge your view on etherum over 6 years ago.

My hope is that you took time to find out more about etherum back then; and saw real reasons to invest right.
Fast forward 6 years, etherum is the leader of altcoins after the king Bitcoin; Etherum is what several altcoins aim to become and it is surely legit and rewarding.

I did read the review; and it is good that etherum made name for itself and clear all doubts.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when will the alts season come? on: May 09, 2020, 08:32:31 PM
It seems you made a mistake with the body of the thread, but i will address the header.

Altcoin season are memorable bull runs for most 90% altcoins in the crypto currency space; the last time i experienced one was during the bull seasons of 2017; and if i am being honest to you; the next altcoin bull season will be when there are another rounds of bitcoin bull run.

Until then, trade judiciously and always do your own research.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why we trust binance exchange? on: May 09, 2020, 08:06:26 PM
Why binance called world largest BTC exchange?
1: the highest security is available in binance compared to the other crypto exchange?
2: Generate high volume in the altcoin?
3: best ieo launcher? Compared to the other exchange?

What is your opinion? Drop your experiences & Opinion?

I think the truth about binance is that the exchange platform has put in a lot of work and effort in ensuring that they have a worthwhile community that trusts them so much,
Likewise, binance offer exchange of crypto currency in the simplest and easiest of forms, be it interface and platform beautiful outlay.

Even binance kyc is encouraging; it takes less than 5 minutes if you do it properly, and you get to trade margin, futures all in a single platform.
Binance now lets me withdraw fiats to my bank accounts amongst other benefits.; It is the king of exchange platform.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: May 08, 2020, 11:24:07 PM
I believe giving up should never be an option, in everything we get our hands to do.
It is better to fail, than not to try at all.

So if you fail, do not blame yourself, do not give up; instead learn from the errors, and even become better.

IF you fail in trading, practice more strategy, improve your skills and be even better.
If its bounty; learn more composure; and use it to great use.
