Lot 5: 4 @ 0.01 BTC Surprised they didn't grade higher, they must have been stored for a while or something. Sweet selection.... I think I know whose coins these are, but not 100%... Just a guess... Can't clearly see it from the pictures, but these are all 1 oz silver coins, right? In the unlikely event that not: Please consider my bids invalid.
I'm 99.9% sure they are all .999 ag, but we'll let mr. jones answer.

Hey shit for brains, that tag means zilch, nada, nothing, so go fuck yourself, ban-evading asshole. BTW, ... Edit - Thanks for being my biggest follower, I love it! Any new comments from your will just be ignored I dont read what dirty extortionist broke has to say.
I can't wait to see it!

Either you didn't read what I said correctly or you are deliberately misrepresenting it. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and think that you didn't read what I said correctly. You can quote me if you still think you are right.
Why would I do that? See here is the problem. You leave half and keep half to yourself which is creating confusions perhaps conflicts. It looks like you have things you want to talk but you don't want to at the same time. You did the same with yahoo when you said you wanted to send second donation but you did not because of some dot dot. I did not read. You are quoted too. He may wised up and be the first goof who understand that all this donation thread os a scam and not donate Hey Fuckface.... I know exactly who you are, you gross-ass fucking dirt-monkey ... So... Get the fuck off this forum forever, you are banned for life, don't you get it yet? Why is OP so fucking retarded? Oh right, I forgot...

These look crazy but good. Makes me anticipate the new silver releases and the corresponding gilt coins even more - Generally I am not too interested in fully gilt coins, but looking at these pictures may have changed my mind.
On a side note: I find any "unlisted super secret cool on the side special project for special people" a bit annoying. But maybe I am just jealous.
I understand, but you also have to consider the fact that Smoothie has many "not active forum members" who buy his stuff right up, and have been for MANY years .. If you are longtime buyer, you get leads first ofc... Let's just be happy he's still making coins after 10 years! Personally, why bother being jealous or mad? If I had been in the professional coin making business for 10 years like him, I'd certainly be doing the same - F, he probably has his own mint and hologram machine by now LOL

Did you really get banned that fast lol

Is this really an error or the result of no/incomplete follow up with Polymerbit to load it since these did not ship loaded, but were loaded by Polymerbit after confirming they were received? This is not an error, it's a lack of follow-up by OP with polymerbit to get it/them funded. Frankie, Did you pay for them unfunded?
|
|
|
Pretty sure the 1st series coins came without COAs
Correct, just the coins, as it was Frank's very first release - also some shipping/packing issues that accidentally peeled some in transit as I recall too.... @Hookzup1 ? Lot 1 - 0.0025 Lot 2 - 0.0025 Lot 3 - 0.0037 Lot 4 - 0.0037

Just move it to the Goods section...

Yet another alt of alamjob/Rainbowsky bites the dust... He's such an idiot. He can't stop coming here no matter what...

perhaps so - but it is incorrect to differentiate them as "maker funded" and "buyer funded" all the coins are "buyer funded" and directly buyer funded at that. The buyer funds the coins directly - no funds are sent to smoothie and he then in turn funds the coins.
I dont know about the laser marking in the past but all my current Lealanas are "buyer funded" and all have the laser addresses etched in them though a magnifying glass and bright light is needed to see it.
the correct terminology is "funded" or "not funded" in reference to these coins.
Well yes, this is because of Fincen, and the only way smoothie can operate legally without MSL's etc etc... The coins are differentiated by the laser-mark or not, IMO, so I guess we can agree to disagree, nothing new, cheers man! owl Edit I'm out, glws @KW ... nice selection!
|
|
|
and to clarify - all Lealana are Buyer Funded - zero are funded by Smoothie - there are 2 versions of "buyer funded" one where the buyer funds the coins directly prior to the coins being shipped by Smoothie - this way Smoothie can verify they are funded prior to shipment. the second where the buyer funds the coins directly upon receipt.
while there is a difference in that the first are guaranteed to be funded, at no point does smoothie fund the coins himself.
I think we just say buyer funded as that is how he sells them. 100% agree with your statement yes - the difference is one is guaranteed to have been loaded when sold while the other not. just clarifying the "maker funded" statement. Still, in the past, like 2014-ish - Most people avoided these, and bought rolls VERY cheap in his old auctions. The funded usually went for higher ofc... The real difference is the laser-mark, let's face it. As a result of these BF coins, many people sold them on ebay and such, WITHOUT providing any sort of provenance or lists of addresses, leading to de-valuing of many of those coins over the years compared to the Non-BF lasermarked coins. The premiums have always been higher for non BF coins, but that has already changed as the lust for "Smoothie" coins continues... Both new and aftermarket/Auction sales, obviously. Get stacking fellas, as smoothie is not going to do this forever, let's face it!

Yeah - can’t say that I am not more than a little sad… disgusted… pissed… to see coins that I bought at presale in October, graded and listed for sale at auction before I even have my presale order filled.
Sorry, just confused on what set you mean, thanks! I thought of the forum as a space for collectors, but more and more each day it’s becoming more about exploiting it to make money… from overpriced eBay resellers to stacks and bowers flippers - no average collector has a chance anymore. Sorry if my bluntness offends, but it’s just who I am. Just curious here, Precious, and not offended by bluntness at all. I get the frustration of seeing coins you ordered on sale in the secondary market before you get them yourself. Legit frustration. However, not sure I follow you then upset at the forum because people are selling into the secondary market. I bought 5 or 6 coins on the forum this month, including Satoris under $100, -all for great prices. That’s pretty amazing and only available on the forum. You bought a coin from Smoothie at the original price of the coin. You can only get that in on the forum. I would never buy the eBay coins at the high prices they go for, but not sure that secondary activity steals opportunity from collectors on the forum. I hope these coins on Stacks sell for all time high prices because it drives adoption and brings in more collectors. I think it is still risky for the sellers that are putting coins in the Stacks Auction though; with this many coins selling and in the bear market, there may be some real bargains available. In the last Stack’s auction I bought a CI Hodl redeemed for $20.
***** All I’m saying is thank God for the people still running auctions, because if everyone just sent the stuff to Stacks then this collectibles community forum would be dead. Plus - selling at fair retail value and exploiting people is a huge difference - practically everyone I’ve bought from on the forum has been fair. I still wonder how many of these CAS coins were bought at auction here and were instantly flipped to Stacks? I bet I can find plenty. Slap in the face to people running auctions IMO. So thanks to the real OGs who keep this place alive and for the people who allow me to win collectibles for my personal collection. I am not one of the smart guys that got into bitcoin early - spent my time buying vintage silver bars as collectibles (also why I LOVE btc collectibles). But in every hobby there are givers, supporters, and takers. Don’t be a taker. Ok - off my soap box for the evening.
Hey man I totally hear you.. I've been here almost 9 years in April... Absolutely everything has changed, quite a few times over in my opinion. I used to flip a lot of coins back in the day, and for the most part I wish I had kept them now lol.. but let's face it this is Bitcoin talk it's not just about Bitcoin it's about money and making it. I try not to let things piss me off here anymore because honestly if you think about this forum too much it can literally drive you crazy. I've seen it with many people here and I've also experienced it myself at times.. we can still be thankful we have this forum to get stuff before the common man so to speak so I'm still grateful for that either way... Thanks for your soapbox rant as you probably seen I can rant a lot myself! 😂💥

It’s funny why Smoothie wouldn’t even comment here even though he is the maker for the coins in question..
Personally I'm not surprised. He's a private person, and I am also wondering if someone else commissioned him to do the gilt ones. As for the pennies being on there already Yes that is kind of fucked up, but again it's none of our business really anyhow,, and now that I think about it maybe he has some deal where he hasn't even sent those in yet due to the auction time ending. Fuck who knows lol.. I give up.. It's going to be an interesting auction for sure! 😂

You should have mentioned that they should be funded. Redeemed pieces shit the bed last time lol - not sure what unfunded pieces will do but we will see
Sorry I missed that they were BF... (Long week sorry)! Well we also have the fact that smoothie also can't load his own btc on them and then send them to S&B afaik, as that would be breaking msl/fincen rules etc. So yeah, I have no idea here either, @smoothie where are you hahaha...
|
|
|
Ah I see now, sorry...
Did you ever all think that maybe these are smoothie's coins? I did mention to him a few months ago how high his coins were going for on S&B and he didn't seem to know at the time.
Just a theory that makes sense, since the gilt btc set said it's straight from smoothies archive/collection as well. 🤷♂️

So.. You are saying you bought a set of the gilt lealanas? Sorry, just confused on what set you mean, thanks!
|
|

Smoothie has been known to sell releases to only certain customers FYI. Not saying they're real but they certainly could be. 🤷♂️
By that I mean when you buy them you basically sign an NDA of sorts as well.
Remember the four coin monero sets? That's how those were sold as well.

That's awesome, but I think my wife would pretty likely object to it hanging on my wall! Good luck with sales - if you dont' have a piece of Mx12's work yet, get on it, you won't be disappointed. He puts a very personal touch to all his works to you, the buyer. Very impressive stuff, all of it TBH! 💥💥🔥🔥 I see .01 in the title description, does this mean this art is tied to an opendime funded or fundable with .01?
Yes it looks it, but usually it's .012 for his other works... I'll ask him on twatter and let ya know bud.
