I already rent. I live in a dirt-cheap secure bunker in a great neighborhood in downtown Toronto surrounded by a close-knit community of artists, musicians, writers, beatniks, hippies, hipsters, punks, immigrants and general riffraff.
I'm surrounded by bars, bistros, patios, booze cans, live music, original artwork, gourmet food and shops selling everything imaginable.
My rent is less than the maintenance fees on even the cheapest condo.
Sounds like Maitland Ave☺ LOL No. I'm what they call a breeder. I live in Kensington Market. Don't worry, we're open-minded about everybody, LGBTQ included. Unlike that other "village", we don't even mind uniformed police officers. It makes them easier to spot.  Nice! I like Kensington market. Nice food! Is that the place where they have all those posh chocolate shops and posh craft shops? |

I'd like to mention Toronto is the only place where I've seen homeless drunk people finish up drinking etc in a group in a busy area such as dundas and pick up all their litter and then proceed to place said items in the correct rubbish bins. I couldn't believe my eyes. The police man we spoke to said no one wants their city to be messy. |

We all know it "usually" drops a bit over the weekend so if today is ok can we say 2300 may be the lowest this weekend? Also bank holiday for us here in the U.K. on Monday if we affect the price at all.

Actually it might be worth getting a divorce now before the price gets any higher! Could end up giving away more in the future Out if interest if one of us here was getting a divorce and the wife has no access to the bitcoins how would this be resolved? How would it be proved you even have any? Mine for example does not give 2 shits about bitcoin or even the profits until she sees it in our bank account. Until then it's all make believe. Now if we got a divorce I bet suddenly bitcoin would become very interesting. Personally I'd deny even owning bitcoin. Wtf can anyone do? . Now I'd like to say I am happily married and have no issues here and this is totally theoretical. And gentlemand I am mowing the lawn tonight. |

Over 100% !! On a side note, anyone know somewhere in the UK that accepts BTC for a nice car? Congratulations - enjoy the well earned BTC =) If it's more than £11K watch out for CGT, who knows what data from kyc/aml is passed to HMRC behind the scenes. Probably better to hold 20% for a year in reserve just in case. Thanks for the heads up. Makes buying a Nice car less fun :-( If you are married, there is a transferable capital gains tax allowance. So if your wife doesn't book any capital gains, that's £22k tax free. It's one of the only tax benefits of being married. There are other benefits of course. Just not related to the tax system. With the amount of fuck ups ive had in my life I am starting to wonder if getting involved with bitcoin at $200-$250 may actually be something I have done that's right for a change.
