541  Economy / Economics / Re: Any business where today you launch, tomorrow you begin making profit...? on: August 18, 2023, 02:23:37 PM
...it might be true to some level but I don't think that it's a real thing...
There might certainly be a fantasy land where it does existed. A business is itself an idea too, but look at what we have $200 trillions worth of money in the derivative market. Also bitcoin has a trillion wroth of value in just ten years (without a product or service), not to mention ethereum in just less than 5 years...
Well, bitcoin didn't become a trillion dollar market overnight as you've liked to point out in your OP, it took bitcoin decades and in a metaphorical scale, I don't think that it's considered a quick profit for bitcoin.

avoid doing a business that required high capital.
Even business with low capital will not gurantee someone any money the moment that they start their business, you're right that we shouldn't start with businesses that has high capital because not everyone has the money to be able to do that.
542  Economy / Economics / Re: Any business where today you launch, tomorrow you begin making profit...? on: August 18, 2023, 08:40:07 AM
What kind of La La Land are you living in where any business that's started today is guaranteed to make money the next day, it might be true to some level but I don't think that it's a real thing, most businesses that are still starting are working on losses because they've invested money to the business so any money that they get from their customers aren't considered a profit yet but a break even for awhile. The only business that is likely to have that are those Ponzi scheme businesses that prey on unknowing people and will only benefit the head of that scheme.

544  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price hits the rock as Space X sells all it's BTC holdings on: August 18, 2023, 06:13:37 AM
And dammit, I was hoping bitcoin would break out to the upside after stagnating, but I guess it's back down to $26k for now (and hopefully not much lower).
Still a good sign for those that's still indecisive about buying bitcoin right? They're basically given a 3k USD discount to buy bitcoin right now.

I'm not sure as to what's the reason why SpaceX sold their hoard but I've read in an article that it's because SpaceX is needing funds or something. Hopefully as many have said, this dip is temporary and hopefully everyone here can get buy bitcoin while it's still in this state.
545  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go above $30,000? on: August 18, 2023, 04:12:07 AM
~
it seems that this downward movement will only be short-lived. for sure, a lot of whales who are waiting for this moment are already secretly buying. worry if there is no chance of going up again.
That's why I'm on a time crunch to gather as much money right now because I know that the price bouncing back is imminent and inevitable. As you've mentioned, whales are definitely buying, I think that some of them have probably an inside knowledge that a dump will happen and must have shorted.
~
Many people have also said that they would like to see bitcoin drop more so they can buy it cheaply, and I hope they will buy it now, not that they are scared to see it drop that much.

There are many people who always say bitcoin is too expensive and they want it to drop more to buy, but when bitcoin drops, they start to get scared and don't dare to buy. Bitcoin has dropped quite a bit today and I think there is no better time than to buy now, if someone misses this moment, they will regret it.
I just hope that those people see this drop as enough reason to buy bitcoin now because they're probably going to see it as not enough of a drop in prices and so they will wait again which will be problematic for them. The people that will say they buy when the prices drop but then the prices drop and they don't buy are the worst because they end up hurting themselves with regret. Totally agree with you, it's high time that anyone should buy bitcoin now.
546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go above $30,000? on: August 17, 2023, 10:42:39 PM
This is the trend now and unfortunately the Bitcoin can even go lower for the price of $27k.
Well, its expected after many failed attempts to break the resistance level and now we are seeing the drop price. The next question is, can Bitcoin sustain its price above the support level or we might see another drop. Let’s hope for a more positive trend before the end of the Month and see how its going.
I hope we see another drop, and I hope that drop will be around the time of my job's payroll so I can buy bitcoin at a much cheaper price, hopefully I can accumulate as much bitcoin as I can while it's still plummeting, to everyone that wants to do the same, don't forget to DCA when you buy bitcoin right now, this might not be the first dip in prices. Regarding the support, let's just hope that no more whales will dump their bitcoin right now if we want to see a sustained support level, that's the only thing that might break that new support level, more bitcoin sold.

Hi again. Tnx for shown interest. I thought I share my most new piece: "Inside Trader". Painted on 2 ONE usd's.

Love the artworks, the one below is the most awesome work of yours that I've seen in this showcase of your work. Do you by any chance do a duplication of your works? I don't know the pricing yet and I'm still saving for other stuff so I hope there's nothing wrong if I canvas how much you price your works especially this one below and what's the typical rate for that? What's the size of this artwork though? Is it the size of like a standard canvas or something like that?

549  Economy / Lending / Re: Lend Crypto New Service-Loan Without Collateral on: August 17, 2023, 08:16:57 AM
From promoting Ponzi schemes to now running a "crypto lending service" on Instagram where on does not require any collateral to secure it! Wow, You have got to be amazed by how desperate and persistent these scammers can be. Some people just live and breathe scam every day, every year.
Their desperation is always paralleled with a lot of gullible people so as long as there's victims, there will be scammers that will attempt to do this "desperate" attempt and pathetic of a scam. One thing that can stop these scums in my opinion is to plaster their real faces and names online, that's the nuclear solution imo for these scams to stop proliferating but doxing is a serious offense here so we will still be seeing a lot of these people because there's nothing for them to fear.

To the newbies out there, if something is offered and you think that it's too good to be true, it probably isn't
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's 2140. All the Bitcoin is now mined, only mining transactions make $ on: August 17, 2023, 07:32:43 AM
I like to think that bitcoin will be used as reserve by central banks, only large transactions will go on-chain and the bulk will happen on alternative channels (LN and similar), also that even states or banks will mine (for a good hash rate and also for including their own transactions into the mined blocks).
1 century is a pretty long time, and I'd like to believe the same thing as you do but the external factors that might affect that future is pretty scary to just ignore. If we don't nuke ourselves towards a slow death nuclear winter with the current war with Ukraine and Russia threatening going nuclear, the dread of even just thinking that is scary enough to not care what happens when all bitcoins are finally mined.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: only 7% of supply is halving on: August 17, 2023, 05:26:56 AM
The historical patterns already indicate a pump in prices after the halving and the scarcity of bitcoin gets higher as the blocks becomes much harder to mine. Also, how can you be so sure that in 120 years there's going to only be 50% increase? I would probably believe you if bitcoin is infinite supply and at the same time there's no lost coins which there's a lot already which contributes to the ever increasing scarcity of bitcoin and we all know the basics of law of supply and demand. And there's also the people that's believing that bitcoin will pump during the halving which will definitely gather media attention and we know the power of media right?
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would We Pay Taxes When We Don't Exchange Bitcoin for Fiat Anymore? on: August 17, 2023, 03:01:26 AM
I think the government will not let it happen, may be government will do anything to make the citizens pay taxes. but it is still possible if the fund is not tracked, some country prohibit their citizens to use other currency except it's national currency. I think it is normal for people try to avoid taxes, even many companies did it.
Depends on what country you plan to use your bitcoin without exchanging it for fiat. In my country, it's pretty to exchange your bitcoin for fiat without the worry of taxation as most of us are already paying taxes through VAT(value added tax) when we buy goods and services, taxation is the worry of the uber rich and business owners here in the country. Regarding taxation of bitcoin even if you don't exchange it for fiat, I think that the government will eventually agree to it that they have to tax it even if it's not exchange into a fiat, taxes is the blood of a country and no one messes with that, this old man that OP is talking about is better off moving permanently to a Caribbean or any tropical country to spend his bitcoin and enjoy retirement.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin negatives on: August 17, 2023, 01:26:00 AM
Bitcoin is just a consumer of electricity and I don't think that the problem is bitcoin but the producers of those electricity. Also, we worry too much the environmental impact of bitcoin when there's more pressing issues that's more impactful than the impact of bitcoin to the environment like coal produced electricity, stripmining, no innovation in battery industries, destruction of nuclear power plants and reliance on oil for fuel. The wasted electricity is the problem of the energy sector, they should have a solution to that problem a long time ago not bitcoin. 51% attack is difficult to do because there are a lot of people that's not connected to each other so it's difficult to gather nodes to be able to do that, not to mention that it's economically impractical for someone to do that anyways.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next Bitcoin Bull Run: Is It Tied to the Next Halving? on: August 16, 2023, 01:28:17 PM
Historically, yes. But this is by no means a conclusion to convince people to invest like crazy. Assuming history will repeat itself isn't an excuse not to spend a few bitcoins today if it's necessary. If you see bitcoin as a benefit over profit, then you won't pay attention to the price to own it.
There's already 3 halvings and I think it's already a safe conclusion that most bull runs will follow. If you're spending bitcoin for something that needs immediate attention then you need to start making more ways to make money at the least because if you're investing in bitcoin and you're lacking money for your daily expenses then you need to get your priorities straight. It's rare to see a person that's going to be preferring benefit over profit nowadays, those who spend their bitcoins most of the time still prioritizes profit.
555  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: !! Warning !! Bitget Exchange on: August 16, 2023, 11:52:30 AM
Most times I wonder why would people sending a huge funds into newly created exchange while we have trusted exchange that has been there for decades now and are pretty doing well without any bad records or much, that's why today I barely find time involving myself with those exchange because I know there aren't free from giving out silly excuses, most of the common excuses are kyc associated one that's why as a trader you have to ensure you did your kyc before sending in your funds to exchange, and it must be very little and you can decide to do it bit by bit to reduce the tension of one losing all their funds.
It's just an assumption but that some if not all of these people who put large amounts of money in a new exchange are part of the scheme given that they can get it back if they're really part of the inner circle of the scammer. Unlikely to happen but it's a possibility, I am the same as you, I don't understand someone using a new exchange and then depositing large amounts of money, I mean you would probably be thinking twice and being really careful where you put it since it's a lot of money right? I think it's a common sense to not be trusting of new exchanges with that kind of money, not having that instinct is just begging to have that money get stolen.
556  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betnomi scam exit & past winners must be careful with Betnomi-branded wallets on: August 16, 2023, 06:11:18 AM
It seems to me very risky to use Ledger wallet gifted by Betnomi as they have scammed their customers now. If they backup the information of this wallet in advance then it seems to me a highly insecure wallet to hold coins. So those who got these wallets should really think seriously about how they will deal with this situation and whether they will trust Betnomi again or not. Let's see what those who received these gifts decide on this matter.
No need to think too much about how to deal with these issue, just don't accept the wallet or not participate at all, the possibility that the wallet is already tampered is already high considering Betnomi is confirmed to be a scam already. The only problem now would be for these people to continue to trust them which none of us can't stop but at the least we've warned them about this. From what I can deduce from all of this, I will be predicting that we will see someone post a topic in this board about how their funds are stolen from their Ledger wallet and then will say that it's a gift from Betnomi.
557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 tips to manage one's emotions while trading crypto. on: August 16, 2023, 04:25:34 AM
As much as you all want to believe this is the right thing to do, remember that this stuff takes practice and having a steel nerves when it comes to trading doesn't come as quick as reading the tips. You need to make it a habit and commit yourself to be disciplined to the point that you can do it without being aware that you can do it. I wouldn't agree with not keeping track of your profits and losses though, I think it can help you manage your emotions and at the same time see if you have made progress with your trading. Also, don't practice controlling your emotions just for trading, make it so that you can really control your emotions even on other things.
558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a legit way of income for beginners or just a marketing tactic? on: August 16, 2023, 01:23:59 AM
~
You wont really be asking out the community whether its legit or shit which you could eventually be able to find for yourself on the answer that you are seeking. You could really be able to find if copy trading is really that profitable or not for someone to make deal with it.
That's where you're wrong, what's the point of using the forum if you can't ask people here about things, their experience and thoughts about things right? In the case of copytrading, wouldn't it be better if there's comforting words about the experience of other people about using it right? It's good to learn from experience but it's much better to learn from the experience of others right?
~
Not all would really be that having this kind of option but cant really deny the fact that it is really that simple and not really for you to exert effort on which you could actually able to place out orders basing up with others calls. Its not bad but not something that could make yourself that able to learn or would be enhancing your trading skills specially if you are just starting up.
That depends though, you and others who don't prefer copytrading are leaning more into manual trading which I don't see as anything bad since we have our preferences, and I myself don't really want to learn the nooks and crannies of trading because I have other things going on with my life and if copytrading offers me that convenience, then why not right?
~
We know that manual trading is much preferable on which you would be able to make yourself that enhancing your skills on trading and could really be able to make yourself that independent on the time that these
copy trades would be gone. Also, it doesnt assure out profits because not all the time these copy trade makers would be always that profitable specially if the market would be making out some significant movement.
Again with the preference, copytrading won't be gone soon imo, as long as people can make profit from it, there's one bound to exist out there, copytrading isn't a fad. I think people that use copytrading know that thing about not being guaranteed a profit, that's almost always what the argument is when people try to shit on copytrading.
559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a legit way of income for beginners or just a marketing tactic? on: August 15, 2023, 06:22:44 AM
Copy trading is easy, less hassle, however, the challenge on it is to find the right trader that'll give you profits most of the time. The disadvantage is that his trading funds could be bigger than yours so there's a chance that your funds could be burnt in no time while his funds doesn't even budge. So in my opinion, doing copy trading has its own risk and the final decision is yours to make.
This, people always shit on copytrading whenever someone ask if it's worth it which is kind of stupid given that if you can ride with the best traders in the market and make profit when they make profit, I think that you should take it but as you've said, tread lightly and choose the right trader which isn't that hard to find as most sites that do copytrading have the stats of the traders so you can see who's going to make you more profit. People always disregard the benefits of more time spent on other things, I guess you want to control how iu make money is a strong reason why you want to sacrifice time and convenience.
560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much should I invest in cryptocurrency as a beginner on: August 15, 2023, 05:27:18 AM
I agree with the majority here to use demo trading accounts.

But for me, it's really different if you already using real money on trading, the feeling is different, and the pressure and environment are different already.
Think of using demo account in trading like shooting a gun, practicing in a firing raange and shooting a real person is a different thing hut with the shooting range, you can sharpen your skills to the point that the only thing you have to worry is the pressure of really shooting a live target. Demo trading uses the real time market so I don't see how it can be different when real money is involved, maybe that feeling that you're saying is that you might regret doing demo trading because you're not winning real money in it even if you make a really good trade, one advice that would work against that feeling is stop being a slave to money and focus and sharpening your skills first.
