XRP has been getting dumped for a long time now, there is no sideways other than the temporary rest that the whales give the market so that the buy orders could build up before they continue dumping. they do that because they want a more packed order book to sell into and get the most amount of profit out.
this year XRP started at 10,000 satoshi and it currently is residing at 2500.
and that is not to mention the ATH that it had in 2017 at 27,000 satoshi.
so in other words it has gotten dumped 90.74% in 2 years and 75% in this year alone!
OP said there might be hope but when more bad news will come (I believe it will) and ripple may be back again to the a few cents again. I don't think so if that will be working perfectly consider about the sentiment will be affected by any news, rumour or speculation.
The tool will not accurate to detect the sentiment and use it as a data to determine the direction of the market but i still prefer with santiment app rather than it caused by it's not so popular and lack of testimony.
Both sentiment and technical analysis are important in trade.

14k should be the top for this year. CME becomes the main news that caused the downtrend for bitcoin. 20k looks unrealistic prediction even with a lot of good news come caused by bitcoin goes to the moon caused by the hype.

that article can't be used to represented the whole of the crypto transaction. Self regulation doesn't work when it comes to the decentralized ecosystem.

That's is a solution to prevent the investors from USA due to the SEC regulation but the majority of them are buying it through exchange site. Basically that's the real purpose of KYC to be applied for investors.
