541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB prevent the moon of TWT? on: October 28, 2023, 03:06:59 PM
I have read and heard some connections between Binance and Trust wallet. Although the former is an exchange while the later is a non custodial wallet but there is this link of CZ between them.
This this not actually why I created this thread. The reason for this thread is to know if during the bull run, will the binance BNB prevent Trust wallet TWT from mooning?
When the FTX bankruptcy happened, TWT gained price, that was when I decided that I will invest in TWT.
  • What will be the fate of TWT during the bull run?
  • Is TWT good for DCA?
  • Will BNB prevent the moon of TWT

AFAIK, Binance invested on Trustwallet during their IDO. Just like Safepal wallet, Trustwallet is one of the wallet which CZ has influenced so I’m not sure you are trying to ask here whether Binance will stop mooning the TWT while they are performing related to each other. Trustwallet is one of the most use wallet of crypto users for their altcoin probably second to metamask wallet.

Their token is good for investment since they have good market while they already established their brand. It’s not a financial advice but DCA is always good strategy to invest on crypto.
542  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: October 28, 2023, 02:41:08 PM
Imho sports betting should have higher ratio since it's harder to do speedrun grinding for xp on those.

I believe you are pertaining to the rakeback calculation rather than the xp/wager on this case. Casino often count the wager 1:1 except on other casino like Stake which x3? the count for the wager on sportsbook but everything should be 1:1 for wager volume.

This is fair way since even low house edge games can give risk on each bet that worth to be counted as 1:1 wager. Shuffle didn’t state how they calculate their XP but rather they just give a conversion that it’s equals to wager.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe do you feel with casinos that ask you to input your log detail. on: October 28, 2023, 01:14:33 PM
To me, a session n n should last until the gamblers close the browser instead of being online and when you want to backspace or check out some feature outside your current mode the prompt for a new login comes up.

I feel unsafe with this and I have avoided the casino,  but that is just my thought but it be nice if I had your views on this.

Are you positive or negative on casinos asking for log-in frequently or do you feel unsafe in putting your login details every time?

I believe it’s case to case basis because my casino account is still login until now even I play yesterday. Probably it’s due to settings of your browser that automatically delete any login information on any website once you close it.

Your concern will be easily resolved if you will use 2FA on your casino account since the hacker can’t access your account even though they have username and password without your 2FA code. I believe the only time I will be uncomfortable login my account is when I’m using device that is not mine.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not a casual fan but want to participate in sportsbetting on: October 28, 2023, 12:50:44 PM
once an NBA fan somewhat like a casual fan of NBA and wants to bet on matches.

being a fan but not going to do some research about the players and team conditions, how am i going to participate in sports betting specifically on the NBA?
i wouldn't want to just keep following based on the odds. seemingly as a bettor, it requires ramping up on lots of updates and knowledge of the sport and how the team players are doing. how am i to do it?

The only way to have a decent analysis skills is by watching all the games until you become familiarize on all the team. Statistics is what gives you an advantage on sportsbook and this what bookmaker using to calculate their odds.

There’s no better way to become good on sportbetting aside from having a data and use it to your advantage. Sometimes sportsbook odds have an error which you can have benefits on it once you knew the stats and the supposed to be right odds for that match.
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think if you have a lot of money its hard to satisfy your ego in gambling on: October 27, 2023, 05:24:43 PM

If I had million of dollars why would I need to bet to satisfy my ego in gambling as I don't need to gamble at all as I would be happy enjoying my money. While most of us do not directly admit it we play to hit that max win or that jackpot which nowadays it can be as a bare minimum a big boost to our financial status depending on the bet we play and hit it.

Not all gamblers is gambling to earn a living or to improve their financial status. Most of the gamblers especially high rollers are those rich people that betting for fun to satisfy them since they don’t have anything to do. If you make gambling as a hobby, You will understand the entertainment you can get by betting high amount compared to small money.

I don't need to satisfy my dopamine level with gambling as there are a lot of other activities which can increase dopamine and adrenaline and of course there is no need for me to list them here as we all know them.As they say in our time if you have money you have everything and can buy everything except your mom and dad  Grin.

This is our typical opinion since we are not rich but it’s different to them who already achieved it.
546  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAKE.COM SCAMMED ME FOR 10k on: October 27, 2023, 02:01:30 PM
don't casinos that have sportsbooks on their site have certain rules that are exclusive to sports betting? I mean, it is possible that there is a rule on their sportsbook's Terms and conditions that if the match is cancelled or suspended because of technical issues(you mentioned that they lost "connection" or "got disconnected"), all bets bets will be void.

anyway, don't stop contacting them, it'll be good to get an explanation directly from them.

That's exactly correct Smiley, if a match is cancelled, then the bet is cancelled/voided, regardless of the result.

In this case if OPs bet would have been losing, and game got cancelled in the end, he would request the casino to void the bet as it got cancelled. Smiley

Technically speaking his bet should be settled since he is betting on the half time of the game while the match is already on the second half. It canceled right after the 1st half which his bet is not affected anymore on any potential result of the game regardless if it’s continue or not.

I understand the sentiment of the OP since his bet is already win if we use logic on analyzing his bet. The only problem is how the ToS define the result on this kind of game since that will rule out no matter how unfair it is.

FYI, he bet on over over 2.5 on first half while the score on the first half was 2-1. If the game run until 77 minutes of the game then his first bet should be valid win.

If I bet a halftime market in a REAL soccer game and the game gets cancelled in the second half, they don’t void first half bets, they settle them. Same thing should happen here.

That’s exactly whatI’m thinking when we look only the evidence that you provided. The problem here is if they really flagged the game as voided already before the 1st half is over because you said already that there’s a problem on Stake connection which means there’s really a technical issue.

I’m not sure either if they will respond you on thread but I think your case needs intermediaries to review all the evidence especially on the Stake side. Use Askgambler to seek help because Stake reps rarely answer accusation here unless it’s really serious matter unlike your which is debatable due to the possible error on their side during the game which you acknowledge on your post.

548  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC.Game - can't withdraw 7.97 BTC on: October 26, 2023, 05:51:12 PM
I never noticed how scary online casinos can be honestly, hope you are able to get your money back man.

This is just an isolated case. You encounter this kind of problem if you will only use trusted casino brand that runs for a long time without any major concern like Duelbits. Bc.game recently slow down with their bonus program that result for their security to be extra tighten when regards to bonus.

Bc.game is already in communication with OP so everything might be fine soon. It’s important to don’t deposit what you can’t afford to in a casino to aboid being on this kind of chaotic situation.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: October 26, 2023, 05:41:05 PM
So, after i saw that Gambling was mentioned or listed among the listed illicit activities through which money can or could be laundered, I can't help but wonder if gambling is actually an illicit activity.

Please check this out and share your thoughts.

The article is pertaining to illegal gambling and not licensed casino. There’s a lot of illegal gambling that being use to launder money on different country and most of the owner are Chinese businessmen that usually involves on drugs and human trafficking. Gambling in general is not an illicit activity.

It depends on what type of gambling involves to determine whether it’s illicit or not. Luckily, Most of the crypto casino has licensed to operate which means that we are safe.
550  Local / Pilipinas / Ginagamit nyo pa ba Ledger wallet nyo? on: October 26, 2023, 05:06:52 PM

Except trezor
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 23, 2023, 02:15:13 PM
The reason why they are so popular is, imo, a very well elaborated plan and design by their sponsors, and effective execution thanks to the resources that they have available. It's sad that many good professionals will desist early because the rules of the game are not the same for everyone.

Most of the streamer nowadays are just good on shouting and swearing to attract viewers. This is what the society wants to watch since they can express what they really want without censoring their content. This is the problem on mainstream media which there’s no control on the content unlike TV program and movie which being screen first before broadcast to the public.

The first batch of streaming which is the casting is much doesn’t rather this current social media that has zero content and 100% garbage swearing especially on gambling.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Before you take sides on: October 23, 2023, 12:33:55 PM
It's pretty easy to figure out if a user is telling the truth or not. Just take a good look at the reputation of the casino. If a casino has a solid reputation, we'd naturally lean towards believing them over a gambler making negative claims about the casino. Of course, this changes if the gambler can actually provide some solid proof of their accusations.

Casinos that have already built a strong reputation have a lot to lose, so they're more likely to be credible compared to someone throwing negative stories at them. Now, if you start hearing the same story from multiple gamblers, well, that's when things get a bit alarming. But until that happens, casinos keep their reputation intact.

Agree on your statement. Most of the casino that scamming using are just new or recently just established and later on decided to turn into scam like what happened to betnomi before. Proof on scam accusation board is very rare to become valid in every scam accusation in there since most of the scammer manipulate the evidence just to look like it’s a legit concern.

Casino earn a lot of profit by just having tons of players on the casino. Scamming few user with minimal amount doesn’t make sense for them since they can recover it easily on other losing players money.
553  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: October 23, 2023, 12:27:05 PM
I played demo mode on shuffle, I was curious about the sensation of getting maxwin on the nolimit city provider which is known for being brutal. I finally felt the thrill of getting Maxwin on the Folsom Prison slot machine. This is incredible, 75,000x the bet. Unfortunately this is only a demo and cannot be withdrawn, but getting maxwin is always fun  Cheesy

Cool seeing this kind of multiplier despite this is just a demo mode. I never hit max win even on demo mode since it’s still very hard. Imagine if you place a bet on this even just 0.1$. I’m sure you feel a bit regretful or encouraged to play real  Cheesy

How long do you play before you hit that max multiplier on demo? Nolimitcity is very volatile slot game yet they really pays huge amount once you get lucky. Mental is the only slot games I play on this provider since the rest is a total money burner.
554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KCGI. What next? on: October 23, 2023, 10:55:20 AM
In full meaning, it is called King's Cup Global Invitational (KCGI), sponsored by Bitget exchange.

I am not a Bitget user and I was not attracted enough to join.

The reason I do not join something like this is because I believe more in the money that I make from trading myself, instead of depending on what may never be mine.

This guy is soft shilling Bitget whenever there’s a chance in any thread here on trading discussions. He created same thread about this KCGI before https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5464563.msg62747399#msg62747399 and you can notice on his post that he keeps mentioning Bitget.

Either he is an avid fan or shiller of Bitget here in the forum. This kind of tournament is not suitable for small trader because they always consider trading volume as main factor to win the tournament.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: October 22, 2023, 04:27:22 PM
I'm tempted to ask what our response will be when we are gambling and our kinds come to ask what we are doing.  Do we lie to them or tell them the truth. At a certain age children become so inquisitive that they ask questions virtually in everything they see us do.
It is normal to a kid asking what are their parents doing in front of their devices, it's their curiosity that why parents should know their responsibilities. Parents should check their children's social accounts as well because gambling products and opportunities is more accessible now than before, children are getting the ideas from the advertising or by hearing some words from the adults so one way to avoid normalizing gambling is to set the example to your children by not gambling yourself or at least do not gambling in front of them. Be aware that kids are being exposed to gambling through advertisement so it's better to start a conversation with them and discuss the risk associated with gambling.

It’s very hard to check every activity they are doing now that smartphones is very common and it’s easy to browse this kind content by just browsing on the news feed. I think it’s better to educate them earlier on what to avoid so that you can implant a warning message on their mind before their curiosity makes them do their own research towards gambling.

It’s way harder to restrict children nowadays compared before because technology makes everything very handy even accessing website that was supposed for adult by just clicking the yes button when ask if you are a legal age for a mature content website.
556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 16k DOLLARS LOSS IN JUST 1 YEAR on: October 22, 2023, 04:02:50 PM
Without knowledge and direction from people who already have experience in the investment field, it is better for us not to try to do it because it will cause us losses in investing and if we have the desire to invest, I think we need to seek knowledge about investment from those who have have experience in this field. You are right, there are two things that can be done in investing, some do it long term or short term, but in my opinion, if we just try it, it would be better if we just try one of them so that it can be easily understood after understanding it, then we will You can try other ways to get profit.

It depends on what kind of trading you want to get involved because you don’t need that kind of technical knowledge if you will just invest on spot market and don’t sold at loss because you can hold your token until the price pump or recover in an event that it suddenly dump once you purchased.

The problem on newbie was they are too greedy and gullible to try risky sector of crypto trading such as futures trading. Crypto is already too volatile in nature and adding leverage on it will surely a killer. Exchange that offers a leverage higher than x20 is already unethical because they are allowing their customers to gamble without knowing the real danger of high leverage.
557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin Hit $1 Million by 2026? Arthur Hayes Makes Exciting Forecast on: October 22, 2023, 02:53:09 PM
no one can guess it correctly, but with the existing data, I also believe that Bitcoin can definitely reach $1 million if a bullrun occurs, therefore if before or during 2026 a bullrun occurs, then the price of Bitcoin will reach $1 million or even more than that and if the bullrun doesn't happen until 2026, then I'm sure the price of Bitcoin will definitely be difficult to reach $1 million, but I'm sure that the bullrun will definitely happen soon (my prediction is 2025).

It’s amazing how people can easily predict an astronomical price in a short period of time despite the current price is far higher than the predicted price. 100K price target is more feasible but anything above 7 digit prediction is insane because we didn’t even touch the 6 digit area for 13 years of existence of Bitcoin while he is predicting it for just a mere 3 years from now.

This is only possible to happened if billionaire like Bezos will all-in or $ value will decrease hard due to inflation.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More secure ways of storing bitcoin? on: October 22, 2023, 02:38:47 PM
I think after the scandal when they intended to offer Ledger Recover service, Ledger is really not trustworthy anymore, we can't even know if they really don't store our phrases or not . So if it comes to using a hardware wallet, I will no longer use a ledger but will instead use Trezor or some other wallet with open source that will be more reliable. Electrum cannot be compared to a hardware wallet, but when you combine it with an offline device, it is just as secure as a hardware wallet.

I’m still using Ledger even with the recent commotion about seed phrase recovery because it’s still offer the standard safety feature of hardware wallet. The team is still not implemented that said plan so I will not toss my 200$ worth of ledger for now just for a minor compromise since my total holdings is still not that huge to toss away my ledger.

I believe for those whale that has tons of money or those who still didn’t buy the ledger is really not advisable to use anymore due to their future plans.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Answer this Question on Credits Left on a Slot Machine by Someone Else on: October 21, 2023, 03:09:42 PM

I agree with you that slot machines are available for anybody who wishes to play. And if somebody is done playing and left his credits unclaimed, then he shouldn't expect that nobody will ever play with that machine until he comes back.

Right, it’s our responsibility to check our machine before we leave especially the credits. The question is too general that gives everyone of us different assumptions to have a different opinion on the matter.

It all depends on the amount left on slot machine. Some player in the slot machine usually play on the specific machine which fresh use by other user because they believe that RTP will pay once someone already lose on it. This kind cents is not a big issue since the original owner left it.
560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is there any safe ways out there to get 10-15 % ANY return rate ? on: October 21, 2023, 02:59:39 PM
as far as banks i noticed maximum 5 %

crypto exchanges upto 15 %   - but are they safe to put money there ? like nexo , kucoin ?

Answer is already on your post. Banks can’t give you an interest greater than 5% while this crypto exchange which you didn’t know physically located or have claim whenever they run offer a lucrative percentage. DeFi on crypto is pure gambling despite they are promising safe passive profit because exchange has a chance to runaway or got robbed including your money.

Why not just hold Bitcoin and wait until the next bullrun. You can earn more than 15% safely if you will never sell at loss.
