Email re-sent.  Once from my mail host, and again from gmail just in case.  Both will have the subject line "Re: BTCFPGA - High Efficiency Bitcoin Mining  - Order 726".

I just wanted to ask if I could upgrade the order from a 27 to the 54Ghps product.

Did you pay the $1000~ or the $500~ price?

It was the $599 price.  I would pay the difference to upgrade.

If GBT is planning on going anywhere, this has got to get fixed. Ignoring transactions is bad.
If this doesn't get fixed, I doubt pools will support GBT.

Waiting to see how LukeJr responds.

Any contest that does not result in me winning is quite clearly a scam.

A scam? not a ponzi?

Con, can you tell us anything about the progress with BFL ASIC support?  Please choose one of the following:

1.  I can't talk about it, I'm under NDA.
2.  I've logged in remotely to their servers and have poked around a little.
3.  I've logged in remotely and have already begun creating code for BFL's ASIC to work with cgminer.
4.  I have no plans to log in remotely to BFL and won't do anything until they send me some real hardware.
5.  I have real hardware in hand and am working on the code.
6.  I won't support BFL ASIC because I won't develop for them for free and they haven't paid me yet.

No NDA, no physical hardware, no remote access, not even a protocol document to work from. Nothing has been done yet. Will start once I at least get protocol docs.

Sometime next year I'm thinking Wink
571  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which ASIC device will ship first? [Poll and Discussion] on: October 30, 2012, 10:11:09 PM

For me,it comes down to ROI figures.NO OTHER FPGA has had a better ROI period than BFL.So I'm hoping its the same for thier ASIC's.

BFL's "projected" power consumption & the "trade in" on 1st gen ASIC's to second gen, made up my mind  Wink

They may not be the first to ship, but I'm sure I'll still get my ROI in a reasonable time frame.

BFL's previous history with schedules made up my mind Wink
572  Economy / Lending / Re: Wtb 17 BTC and Borrow 7 (Closed) on: October 30, 2012, 02:00:36 PM

I'm sure people would appreciate it if you posted the txid's and addresses for the loans & repayments on this thread, as proof that it isn't a fake loan & also so that LionHeart will get a scammer tag if he scams you and doesn't repay.

You don't have to worry about scamming yourself.

LOL!

Why the heck am i not recieving messages when my miners go down!, I lose out on alot and the only way i ever know if they go down is when my house gets colder

doesn't the mining software you use allow for backup pools?
574  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Failure of FAN RPM sensor in 6950? on: October 29, 2012, 09:33:09 PM
What brand GPU?

I've seen the temp sensor be way off.  Haven't seen a fan sensor showing 0 unless someone did a repair to the fan or the fan was dead.
575  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Suggestions on Power Supply? on: October 29, 2012, 08:59:03 PM

I have 5 or 6 rigs with this PSU.  Running 4 5830/50/70s
I've had to purchase SATA to PCIe adapters from Meritline to be able to run each pcie port off it's own cable.  I don't like running multiple pcie ports off the same cable.
576  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MBO GByte 990fxa-ud3 on: October 29, 2012, 08:50:43 PM
ignore, i was dumb enough not to connect +12v to card. it all working now, all 4 detected

but tere is definetly something wrong here, within 5 secs on low agression of 5, card goes above 100C temperature

jesus -.-

use 100% fan.
What brand/gpu?
I've seen some XFX 6950 that report back a wrong temp.

Check thermal paste.
577  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MSI Motherboard sets fire (PICTURES INSIDE) on: October 29, 2012, 08:02:13 PM
Thanks ^ Done..

here is an update... MSI Customer service has got right back to me. There upgrading this board to a 990FXA-GD80 motherboard and sending me a prepaid shipping label to send my "defective" board back Smiley

I have had problems with EVERY single MSI board I have in my farm.  Out of 43 rigs, 11 are MSI. The rest are what many people call "crap".  ECS and Biostar.  2 are ASRock that I've had some small problems with. Not one problem with any ECS or Biostar.  No need to jumper presence pins or do other crap to have the board run 4 gpus.  MSI boards on the other hand... to me... "crap".

No
579  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] GPUMAX account 4.5 BTC on: October 29, 2012, 12:57:35 AM
dude? seriously?

I'm sure you got an email on October 20th that GPUMAX was shutting down on October 31st.  This is akin to selling a GPU card that you know does not work.  I would hope that knowingly selling a GPU card that you know does not work would get you the scammer tag.

Everyone, please buy Avalons.

kthxbye

Coming from a guy with a bASIC ad in this sig Tongue

LOL! You got me.  I'm just playing the system.  A free ASIC is a free ASIC.
