561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex removing SLR coin on: November 01, 2019, 03:09:56 PM

562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is running DASH masternode more profitable than HODLING bitcoin? on: November 01, 2019, 02:41:24 PM
A simple question, If i buy 1000 DASH with Bitcoin and and run a masternode, i will generate passive income. My question is will the end result after 1 year (initial deposit + income) will be greater than if i decide to HODL bitcoin and don't run a masternode ?
I want to earn passive income but it has a risk right? What if DASH price falls after one year and bitcoin price keeps increasing, that can happen? or Bitcoin and DASH price directly proportional in long term?

it wont be MORE profitable, but it will be LESS volatile. DASH stays around same price, it only moves when its owners make it
DASH was created to be a long term income specifically, the dev was hired to create something that would be a long term income for the group of people tht hired him
he was wildly successful. Community was pissed of course once it was found out, but the coin wasent made for them they forget...
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [VIDEO] - Ethereum Going Massive !? - Price Analysis Ethereum News on: November 01, 2019, 02:15:01 PM
its a good way to remove youtube as a middle man and could also help grow your audience maybe
I haven't watched any of Op's videos, but getting away from youtube is a fantastic idea in general.  Google has far too much power in today's world.

And Eth?  It's not making much of a move one way or another that I can tell.  It seems to just be tracking bitcoin's own fluctuations lately, and it's stuck below $200.  Still an excellent coin, tho and as I've written in a few other threads I'm anxiously awaiting the change to proof of stake, even tho I don't currently own anywhere near 32 Eth.  At least that number is achievable for me given enough time, unlike some of the masternode coins.

I'll bookmark that video to watch later, tho I'm not sure I'll like the technical analysis parts of it.

sadly the OP dosent seem to respond or engage his audience on here
tsk tsk, dosent he know thats a MAJOR factor to growing an audience? i saw somewhere that statistic, content creators that engage with their audience's grow like 200%+ faster
oh well, his loss i guess : /
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptonization Fail ? on: November 01, 2019, 03:57:49 AM
haha good question man, the short answer is... yes, yes they are Tongue
everyone wanted to get in on this blockchain craze, and thats cool, but really most projects dont even NEED it, its just a hype thing
there was a study that showed all a company had to do was add "blockchain" to their name and its stock would rise 200-400%, so one can imagine the effect of that Tongue

565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big money moving in next year, means greater demand for DEX projects? on: November 01, 2019, 01:12:44 AM
So I'm pretty convinced that we'll see a mega bull run next year due to the BTC halving. There's probably a LOT of wealthy people looking to invest, if the price starts to skyrocket again, but as we've seen in the past, these people are all about privacy.
Remember the Panama leakage a few years back? https://www.bbc.com/news/live/business-35944255/page/2

Wealthy people is likely to hide a ton of money in crypto, and while you could argue that most of them would hold privacy coins like XMR, there's also a fear that these will be illegal, and delisted/removed from centralized exchanges eventually.

This got me thinking, that perhaps decentralized exchanges where nobody can follow your trading history will get HUGE demand.
So perhaps it's not a bad idea to look into projects like Blocknet for the next bull run? If these DEX's takes off, the coin itself will be highly sought after.

Thoughts?

Blocknet for sure, or maybe Bisq Smiley
this is a popular topic these last few weeks, "dexs", but honestly, true dex's are not ready for that kind of big volume imo
centralized exchanges that operate outside of big governments are what we need tho, im watching for some kind of side chain solution to form
"dex" is just a hype term really, sometimes centralized exchanges can have many benefits
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [VIDEO] - Ethereum Going Massive !? - Price Analysis Ethereum News on: November 01, 2019, 12:01:41 AM
oh hey, another one of your vids, cool, last one was ok Smiley gonna check this out now
btw, have you thought about uploading to one of the crypto creator platforms? or do you already?
Something like dtube or lbry Smiley its a good way to remove youtube as a middle man and could also help grow your audience maybe
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DEX's ever get the liquidity and volume of Centralized Exchanges today? on: October 31, 2019, 09:14:13 PM
Yeah, that's a question I keep asking myself these days. There's so many DEX projects, some of them not even being "Real DEX's" like the Binance "DEX". I've been wondering if another bull run could trigger a huge influx of new users towards these projects, since you don't need to own an account to use them.

Remember Q4 of 2017, when you couldn't even open a Binance account since they got too many registrations at once? With the recent influx of new trading options, some of the volume could be moved towards decentralized solutions such as Blocknet, just to name a project.

Another thing worth speculating on, is people seem to HATE KYC like the plague. Imagine all the rich and wealthy people, like celebs, and people with big time careers, they might not even want to risk disclosing what they hold should a centralized exchange be compromised, which makes DEX's the best solution.

Could 2020 be the year of DEX's? Just a thought... Grin

Its the upcoming 2020 hype term, we have one every year, stablecoins this year, "DEX's" in 2020 Tongue
of course yes, most of them wont really be DEX's, as they will still rely on centralized services to middle man, as most of them always have..
real dex's like Bisq, have been around for years, but they are not very user friendly, and we knew that
What will be interesting is if some kind of second layer thing will be developed that can make them ACT more like centralized Dex's, while maintaining TRUE dex status, p2p , wallet to wallet.
(something that will give them speed and liquidity). Is that something that "imesh" can/will be used for? hmmm

568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain forces its co-founder out on: October 31, 2019, 07:59:12 PM
Remember both of these guys Zhan and Wu are bcashers. They fighting each other is fun to watch but ultimately they won't do anything super harmful to each other. It won't be more than a pillow fight.

Think it like this, both of them have nukes. If one of them uses it, the other one also will have to use and it will destroy them both.

ahh, ok.
well thats not as dramatic/fun as i hoped, probably best for BTC tho :p
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP 5 ALTS TO WATCH on: October 31, 2019, 06:35:47 PM
Oh man people shill crap here all the time, its hard to say... theres alot of projects people just build and you don't hear much till they do something big, but heres some picks from me:

ADK - Saw that one just yesterday, low cap right now, definitally one to watch and see what it does in 2020
VBK - They had a really shaky IEO, but they have a good team and solid funding now, 2020 could be their year
ETH - PoS might actually happen in 2020, if so, keep your eye to this beauty, see where she goes
GRIN - This is prob the most interesting coin in years, and might just be finding its good bottom in the market. keep an eye on it for sure in 2020 imo
RVN - Strickly $peculation, this coin has some big names around it. Watch for it to maybe not develop much, but probably do some price shit, of course, up or down tho remains to be seen Tongue
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL&CALM on: October 31, 2019, 06:13:50 PM
OP hasent been online since July, and was just a spammer anyways Tongue
he didn't even take his own advice and HODL into the new bullrun thats now beginning...

Fucking noob haha

571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | Veron | Beyond The Crypto Space on: October 31, 2019, 05:51:55 PM
ya idk man, there's already ways to quickly and easily buy large amounts of BTC for most major countries
Coinbase for example offers remittance for institutional customers AFAIK
what makes your service different? you might be fast enough on here with the debit cards, theres been like 50 projects promising those and NONE have ever done it yet : /
so if you guys could get some form of crypto debit cards actually done that might be really good for your project, i see you dont have them planned till Q2 2020 tho...

ya idk , good luck on your project i guess
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain forces its co-founder out on: October 31, 2019, 05:03:42 PM
He is rich enough to start a parallel company to serve as a competitor to the Bitmain probably with a better and cheaper products.

They started bitmain together and while the CEO Wu Jihan was busy with vacations and holidays Micree Zhan Ketuan was working and accumulating BCH ( i doubt he will dump the BCH in retaliations )

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-10-29/top-bitcoin-miner-engulfed-in-power-clash-as-co-founder-ousted

ooo imagine if THAT happens :O Zhan could, with the same if not tighter connections in China, start a competitor. imagine:

-He starts his own company, takes maybe 20-40% (more?) of the best engineers with him
-Spends the next 5 years just underselling Bitmain and slowly destroying them from the "ex-inside" out
-Zhan forms good relationships with grassroot dudes like Sidehack, Miners become way more affordable, accessible, and reliable, further damaging Bitmain
-BITMAIN RIP in 5 years, China Equivalent chapter 11 Tongue

That would be awesome, true capitalism heh Tongue
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅✅✅ [ANN] BitAIrt - World First AI Art on the blockchain - 10 ETH to win ✅✅✅ on: October 31, 2019, 04:38:42 PM
So I can paint the art.How many days it will take to delivered?

well given what they told me, since it's STRICKLY an ERC721 based item, you will recieve it instantly after purchase id assume?
their selling them as collectables, think of them like digital baseball cards of the future, Art made solely by AI
im going to be snagging one if this continues to move forward, the idea seems pretty original, i just wish there was a physical for a conversation piece like my other crypto stuff Tongue hehe
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BCH even be worth mining after the halving? on: October 31, 2019, 04:23:36 PM
https://www.coingecko.com/pl/explain/bch_halving

Bitcoin is gaining more as it recovers than BCH. Even if BCH follows Bitcoin in the next bull market it still is going to be worth significantly less when compared to the last bull market when it was coming out as the next bitcoin and BTC itself was suffering from 100 dollar transaction fees.

Why would anyone want to mine BCH after the halving if its value doesn't jump enough to make it worth it?

i think people mine BCH for a strict hope Ver and Jihad will pump it, as they have before, its believed, as everytime it gets really low, it seems to have a nice pump
Maybe BCH will stay around for just traders more then miners?
Some pools will auto switch your miners to w.e is most profitable between the two as well, but if your selling for BTC either way that seems counter-productive lol
Personally i hope all coins with "something Bitcoin" in their names die, its so dumb, BTC can do it all, it just needs time
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypton - next altcoin with a great potential on: October 31, 2019, 04:02:44 PM
Honestly, i never heard about these project, but after i try to search it, is this the project what you mean? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5163273.0
I see, currently the progress of this project is in beta, and they need tester, promoter and assistant and will be pay in btc for participant. (https://beta.u.is/)

And "3rd most valuable coin after BTC and ETH." Really?  Cheesy

i thought they were maybe talking about this project: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/krypton/
which was this Scamcoin done by that woman who just spent the ICO money travelling to conferences basically, then ditched the project : / lol

Either way , this name is burnt OP, shoulda done some research before naming this what you did Tongue

576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypton - next altcoin with a great potential on: October 31, 2019, 03:12:42 PM
well i know ONE thing, it surely WONT become #3, thats just crazy
Social networks are dying, any cryptoprojects building one are way too late, like 2 years atleast lol and messenger, well telegram already has that covered
this should be fun to watch Cheesy
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks and crypto integration is a big thing- Michael Novogratz on: October 31, 2019, 02:49:56 PM
The CEO of the Galaxy Digital and an extremely rich person, Michael Novogratz expressed that the inspecting of the cryptocurrency by one of the biggest and well-known espresso chain Starbucks for its user’s app is a major thing for the benefit class.

“Follow this space. This is a big deal. Crypto acceptance is coming. Bakkt to launch consumer app in the first half of 2020; will test the product with Starbucks.”

Source: TheCoinRepublic

oh wow nice news Smiley  ya i think 2020 will be the year maybe for mass adoption? those Bakkt peoples really are doing their part right now
i wonder if the whales planed this, maybe they wanted to accumulate before the next 1/2ing and price explosion...
as every true Bitcoiner KNOWS $100k will happen, its just a matter of time Smiley
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain forces its co-founder out on: October 31, 2019, 02:45:21 AM
Ooo thats some juicy crypto-drama upfolding Cheesy
reading the article and the blockstream dudes twitter thread gives no exact explanation on HOW they ousted a 37% stake holder so fast
i wonder if this will be the end, or just the beginning of even bigger drama  Shocked

580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The cryptocurrency for porn! on: October 30, 2019, 11:57:14 PM
When u posted in ESP thread i saw your maintaining this coin now Smiley
you should talk to DPorn, they are slowly getting established in this emerging crypto+adult industry, and maybe all they are missing is some kind of partnership with an established chain (titcoin?)

Thanks for the hint!  Smiley  I will contact them and see what comes out of it.  Wink  Do you know if they have an email address or contact form? I can't find anything on their homepage lol.

Quote
idk, maybe something could work, projects need to try work together within their subject matter, so many fragmented ideas/coins : /

Yes you are right, it's a real problem and is exactly the problem why blockchains themselves carry no value any more. There is a "blockchain inflation" similar to how coins on a chain have inflation.

They are active in discord, discord.gg/r572RNp,<---- NSFW
i only spent a bit of time on there websites as it has many titties and i have many kiddies hehe so im not sure of any other contact info then discord :p
but ya man i definitally agree on what your saying about blockchain inflation : / guess thats why most projects have quieted down now ye..
