561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 usd enough to start trading ? on: October 04, 2018, 02:28:45 PM
I think that it is not much but it will be enough to start trading. Beginners aren't recommended to invest much immediately not to lose money because first you need to gain some experience and get a clear understanding how the market works

Yes, you are logically correct there.

A hundred dollars is not really enough to gain good profit from trading. Remember that the higher the capital, the higher the gain (and i'm sure you already know what happens when you have little to trade).

But it will definitely give you enough exposure as what to expect out there in the trading market of cryptocurrency. I just hope you find enough time to dig in to details regarding a particular coin or token before investing in them. See how a particular cryptocurrency has been ranking through coinmarketcap before deciding to trade on them.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new phenomenal innovation on: October 04, 2018, 02:22:54 PM
Bitcoin is a logical continuation of traditional money, remember the evolution of the form of money:)

It could never continue traditional money, so to say.

That's why bitcoin is considered revolutionary. Remember that revolutionary changes usually meant taking out the old and placing in the new.

Traditional money has always been in a tangible form, something that has a shape, a size, something that can be weighed, it has a solid feel, and once glance by the naked eye will indicate the value.  Traditional money does not need digital technology. But here we have bitcoin, something from the digital space that has no tangible properties, yet, valuable.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin will be the safest investment on: October 04, 2018, 02:16:26 PM
I believe in bitcoin as a good investment. It is the most stable on the cryptocurrency market and is getting stronger every year.

Stability in the sense of continuous popularity, adoption and growing interest, yes. But as to the price? Perhaps not.

Should stability of price becomes innert to bitcoin, then we all might lose that golden chance to become a millionaire overnight. Price volatily is what makes bitcoin a sensation. Truly, a very potential investment tool, but not so safe (truth to be told). With bitcoin's high profitability, the stakes and risks are way too high too. One should thread the waters with utmost care.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you use Bitcoin as a practical currency? on: October 04, 2018, 02:11:43 PM
As long as it is not restricted in the place where you use it, yes bitcoin can be a practical currency. But it always depends on how they deal with bitcoin or crypto currencies, as long as they accept it you can use it, for now few have been accepting bitcoins, you can use it if you convert it into fiat.
As an individual motivation bitcoin has a great potential virtually of the currencies. But it all depends on the current situation and countries adoptation, if the government take risk of it, then the huge development of bitcoin will turn out as practical currency. And I know it won't take easily, a long procedure and process will consume some time before it will declare the acknowledgement. Only time and patience for the great thrives.

In my country it will not accepted as a payments, i did not heard it, that there is companies accept. I think because in my country it is not develop yet, many places no internet or signal and it is not already legal but not also ban. It depend on where country are you? Some contries used already it, just a little search.

Sadly, even with its popularity, bitcoin is still heavily reliant on internet connectivity. Yes, there may be cases where an offline bitcoin transaction might take place, yet, at the end of the day, without the internet, the blockchain might not be able to process and record your transaction.

Thus, places where internet is not available at all might have a hard time dealing with bitcoin as a practical currency.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!! on: October 03, 2018, 12:05:01 PM

I really doubt that because looking at these two coins, although they are all blockchain based currencies but to me BTC is doing far better than ETH.

And you just did the opposite when you said stop comparing BTC with ETH. If anything, the only comparison that could be made perhaps is the value it brings to investors and holders of each.

Besides that, there is really no comparing the two. They are a market of their own. When bitcoin imposes more liquidity as cash, ethereum imposes more functionalities to crypto transactions. Their attributes as to the blockchain may remain the same but their functionalities are broadly different.
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be stronger this time on: October 03, 2018, 11:54:05 AM
I never lost my sympathy and trust in bitcoin instead i become more motivated as the price goes down so i can purchase more And simply waits for the time to sell them all together, and i am confident about my holdings .trust is very important in cryptocurrency and if you dont have this then better quit here because you may have a heart attack because of volatility

For the believer, like yourself, anytime is really a positive time for bitcoin. Indeed, fear and surrender are prevalent during sharp fall of bitcoin price but to those who grew their belief through bitcoin knowledge and its historical track, it is a signal to stay stronger and keep up with the tides and waves of red. Sadly, only a few like you have the financial stability to stay afloat during struggling times, many really had to quit and give up. Thus, it is much appreciated that you sent out a good advice to quit should their confidence be shaken as this might simply impair their health and well being and make them grow ill.
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is best wallet for long term bitcoin holding? on: October 03, 2018, 11:45:29 AM
If one is willing to spend a good amount of money, a hardware wallet is definitely a good choice to store your bitcoin for a long time. Among the best rated and reviewed hardware wallet is available on the market easily.

Though the free option of keeping your bitcoin either on your computer or on the exchange with 2FA security enabled is not so bad, the hacking threat is there especially on exchanges.

So it is best to keep your bitcoin offline as much as possible should you wish to keep it safe for a very long term.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LIKE IT OR NOT, BITCOIN IS AN INVESTMENT on: October 03, 2018, 11:39:23 AM
yes you are right I really agree with you, this bitcoin seems more suitable if used for investment because bitcoin has a very limited price so surely the price will be very expensive and can provide benefits for those who have bitcoin.

Satoshi Nakamoto may feel that he failed in making bitcoin as the crypto for online payment, but it's satisfying in a way how bitcoin turned to be an investment where it changes the lives of others who believe in it.

Though Satoshin might not feel too good knowing that it takes a large sum of money to invest in bitcoin. Truly, the evolution was inevitable as the market dictated the new derivative of bitcoin and there was no stopping it in any way.  And as much as utility was needed to be pushed, it seems it is more relevant these days to push bitcoin as an investing instrument to gain more institutional support. This way, the small players will benefit more, even those that simply wanted bitcoin as a system of payment.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How twitter affects the price of Bitcoin on: October 03, 2018, 11:27:40 AM
It has been observed that there lies a social effect from any twitter related trend that might cause either a hype or a panic, but never the price of bitcoin directly. With many people easy to jump to conclusions from a trending twitter post that hits millions of retweets, we at times forget to do further research and try to find out from official sources as to the actual market conditions or truthfulness of the trending news.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change Your Mind About Bitcoin on: October 03, 2018, 10:52:14 AM
Bitcoin has alot of advantages and benefits but it doesn’t mean that it has no bad parts. Yes, people use it for financing the illegal things, some people use it for financing the crime. We can’t deny. I think we should see the whole picture. And we should accept it with all good and bad parts. I think its benefits more than the bad parts of it.

Exactly, bitcoin, just like many other things in our lives, has its good and bad attributes.  There are no perfect financial tool out there. In fact, even with the international regulations against fiat currency movements, this particular form of money is still being used to fund illegal activities, terrorism, arms for conflicts, illegal trades and many other things.

But if we look at the strength of bitcoin as a payment mechanism that is of digital in nature, bitcoin's performance and ideologies are quite incomparable to any online payment gateways.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Can Be More Efficient Than Bank Transactions on: October 03, 2018, 10:30:54 AM
Transactions with bitcoin are without a doubt much more profitable than banking transactions. But to transfer money it is necessary only to trusted users, because to get back your bitcoins, you will not be able.

Truly, the unavailability of transaction reversals are few of the things that one needs to be aware of regarding bitcoin payments. An ounce of extra care when making any transaction is a must. One needs to make sure that they are sending to the right bitcoin wallet, otherwise, the bitcoin sent can not be gained back through any means. And remember, there is no governing bitcoin authority that can reverse such payment mistakes.
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONT INVEST IN BTC IF YOU CAN'T OR AFRAID OF TAKING RISK on: September 28, 2018, 12:58:40 AM
Reading back, the hypertension part really made me smile yet i sense the genuine sense of concern there.

Risk remains true not only for bitcoin but for any investment out there, no matter how big or small.  And if one is not ready to deal with it, one must not even start to engage with it. And at the current rate, hypertension is set to get the best part of anyone who invests in bitcoin. The profit seems so bleak and the waiting seems to take forever.  And if one is not able to manage their fears properly, steer clear from all these risks.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money on: September 28, 2018, 12:40:56 AM
Regulating cryptocurrency is the main focus of the governments in order to stabilize the prices of coins on the market and also check the persons behind the transactions. Regulating cryptocurrency will allow the governments to accept cryptocurrency and announce it legal in most countries. This will cause more potential investors to join crypto yet crypto cannot be much lucrative as it uses to be due to the price stability that might follow the regulation.

And it also destroys the gift of pseudonymity that came along with bitcoin which has been a standard for most of the cryptocurrencies till date.

And perhaps it will also attack the permission-less property of coins and tokens.

There is really much to consider should cryptocurrency come under government regulation. There will be positive and negative effects once this happens. We must be on the guard should we want to preserve the intrinsic characteristics of cryptocurrency while we seek government backing.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EXPECTATION Vs. REALITY Bitcoin in the Eyes of the People! on: September 28, 2018, 12:28:32 AM
Those who are new in this forum might have been invited to check this site because they can earn here but upon looking around, they don't see a opportunity to earn easy now unlike the old days. I see in other forums Bitcointalk is being introduced like a faucet where all you have to do is come over and look around for an opportunity in the games and rounds section. Some would even ask you to go to the lending section directly to borrow money. They are totally clueless about Bitcoin.

Sad really. The forum is being treated like a faucet alone instead of an avenue to learn and earn. Truth to be told, the forum holds a lot of knowledge once can use to add sense to their crypto voyage. In fact, the forum is rich in history too as it have prints of Satoshi Nakamoto all over it.  Something that we all should appreciate.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Ask "Time To Buy" "HOLD or SELL" "Right time to entry" on: September 28, 2018, 12:24:30 AM
Truly, there are no time frame to those questions. Because the answer is not dependent on the market, but dependent on you and that is the universal truth.

Enter the crypto economy when you are ready, more than being financially stable with enough savings, one needs to make sure he have enough knowledge stacked with you for you to thread with care. Otherwise, one might just make the wrong calls and eventually lose more than to gain profit.

And remember that there are no fool proof strategies. There is no single road to becoming wealthy. One that works for the other might not just work well enough for you. Always try to make sensible judgement and check with yourself how much you can afford to lose before making any progressive investment.

576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At this time buy and hold bitcoin smile in future on: September 28, 2018, 12:06:34 AM

hmmm i think we are right now on a dam high prize of the Bitcoin more than 6000$ per coin XD
But if you think we will reach much higher soon then invest Wink
I got my most coins at about 400$ so for me we are great now !

regards

Lucky you. I think that such investment at $400 is really worth your while. Now i understand the "hmmm" as your opening.

At an average of $6K a piece, i think investment during your time and now does have a really big difference.  Your investment gained you 50x value, for the same effect at the current market price, bitcoin needs to reach $300 a piece and i don't think that will happen anytime soon.

Though if people are merely looking to double or triple their money, then bitcoin might just prove to have lots of potential to make it happen.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is worth more use of gold? on: September 27, 2018, 03:22:49 PM
The subject at hand is really debatable. I could agree and be bashed for it or i could disagree and be bashed for it too.

Because comparing bitcoin with gold is a comparison that will yield different answers depending on the person being asked. I think at this moment in time, a universal truth could not be established that easily. Gold has proven its worth since the beginning of man's history. It has always been a part of historical power, glamour and riches. Whereas bitcoin has just begun. But the belief that made gold valuable is somehow inherent with bitcoin as well. Thus, there is no undermining the possibility of bitcoin weigh more value than gold in the future. Yet, we are not at that stage to date.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin will be the safest investment on: September 27, 2018, 03:16:05 PM
With no intention to discriminate, for a person with a newbie account, you made a lot of sense there.

And i have always pointed out how it feels so sad that many of us had forgotten the innate purpose of bitcoin. And as you said, it is quite understandable after last year's all time high. And truly, greed played a mighty role here. After 2017's 20K phenomenal breakthrough, it feels that 6K is a heart breaker, when in fact, it is not.

I just do hope that people start treating bitcoin again as a system of payment and let the possibility of investment follow suit as we see more global adoption.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change Your Mind About Bitcoin on: September 27, 2018, 03:06:49 PM
If we talk about opinions and views, then people are absolutely entitled to their own and we are not in any way forced to believe the same.

But the universal truth of what bitcoin really is should matter. Thus, as we are entitled to our own opinion, each one of us is responsible to find out the truth.

And starting with the 9-page Bitcoin WhitePaper is a good starting point.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN = FUTURE on: September 27, 2018, 03:03:00 PM
I do believe in bitcoin too and the great potentials it entails with. But i do not believe in selling my house and all other asset to go all out for a bitcoin investment.

I will stand by the code of investing only what you can afford to lose. It's not that i am no risk taker, but i would not encourage others to sell their assets and move to bitcoin. I would suggest them to save first to fund their bitcoin engagement.
