561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL&CALM on: January 13, 2019, 04:57:13 AM
Everything passes and this will pass! (King Solomon)
The crypto is already in the present and undoubtedly the future quantum science!

I say HODL and use Bitcoin and other altcoins. That is much better. We need to step up our ways of using cryptocurrencies. HODL is all right of course if you are just an investor. But it would be much more helpful to the cryptocurrency field if we are going to actually use them. One of the largest problems for cryptocurrency is that it is not used according to its design. That is true. Everyone can easily notice that the majority of the cryptocurrencies turned to mere traded coins and nothing more.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if you are deceived? on: January 11, 2019, 12:21:12 PM
People creating scam projects should be brought to justice. They should get the appropriate penalties for doing such criminal acts. The problem is that many of these scam projects are using fake names with fake faces and fake credentials. The real culprit are behind the names that appear publicly. Of course there are also some real people who are also doing real scams. They should be imprisoned and fined. Actually, it is the role of the government agencies that nothing of this sort will prosper.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: January 11, 2019, 12:00:57 PM
Just hope for a better year. I am not asking too much from my coins including Bitcoin. If it is not yet the right time for a bull run, then so be it. Let us have the bull run later on. I am sticking to my crypto anyway. At the end of the day, it is not going to take a couple of years for their prices to get back to their highest value and even beyond. It's just that the year 2017 was a record hitting, almost impossible year of growth. That was the reason why there was so much dumping that happened right after that. Rest assured, there will be a much stronger pump soon.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Bitcoin is good, but don't depent on it. on: January 11, 2019, 11:29:23 AM
Bitcoin income should only serve as a sideline of your main income, an alternative source of income so to speak. You cannot depend on the income you possibly get from Bitcoin. It is very risky. There were so many questions on this forum before, asking whether or not it is a sound decision to leave their job and focus their time entirely on Bitcoin and related stuff. I have always been consistent with my answers. If you have a good job that pays you well, why leave it? But if you have a job that takes all your time and effort and yet pays you a minimum, it is always better to leave it even if you are into Bitcoin or not.
565  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: January 11, 2019, 10:58:36 AM
The fight is still on until now. There will be no letting up on this fight up the point when the banks and the governments will have no choice but to either perish or adjust. This will happen provided the people within the crypto community will not let go in the face of hard market. If all of us will not dump even if the world is against us, time will come that they will join us. If we continue growing while the other side is getting smaller and smaller, they will give up and adopt crypto as well.
566  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Buy the dip" is only a strategy for losers on: January 10, 2019, 10:37:15 PM
Buy the dip is not the strategy of losers. It is a strategy of those who take every opportunity to earn. Bitcoin has been existing and catering to the public for at least a decade. That means it has already weathered so many dips in that 10 long years of existence. And not only dips, it has also weathered deaths. But then it has also successfully broken its All Time High records one after another. And right now, we are again confronted with the same problem that existed even at the get-go. So, do not be too emotional. Do not be like a child whining every time there is a dip. It is an opportunity for a bigger take in the next days and weeks.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear market,a blessing in disguise on: January 10, 2019, 01:41:01 PM
Before now, crypto sphere is full of many people whose interest is getting rich overnight and not crypto and blockchain tech, but the present bear market is exposing and already showing them a way out,I guess that is good for us because with their exit, crypto sphere can be restructure.I can't wait to have everyone working together for the interest of crypto and blockchain tech,it is going to happened soon.

Indeed, the bear market is always a great opportunity both for those who came late and those who want to buy a bigger portion with their limited investment. But sadly, this is not how some other people view it. Some are looking at it with panic and with a lot of negative implications. Some are even declaring that it is the death of Bitcoin and crypto that is starting to happen. Some are selling with huge losses. They are too emotional to react to a red market. Instead of accepting it as an opportunity, they see it  a downfall. Instead of buying and HODL together, they are letting go.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any bounty rewards after August 2018 ? on: January 10, 2019, 01:01:42 PM
Hi,

I have been doing alot of bounties but getting no rewarding coins. The coins/token that i have received are all just in the wallet and not on any exchange and alot of my participated bounties have just disappeared. So i was wondering has anyone received any bounty rewards that they have exchanged for bitcoin since August of 2018 ?

The last token that i was able to cash out were in August of 2018, What about the rest of the bounty hunters ?

Your problem is shared perhaps by more than 90 percent of the campaign participants here. I, too, am experiencing such pattern lately. The world of the bounty hunters are getting polluted by so many scam projects and those that may have been legit at the beginning but since poorly made, it still means that they will be dying soon. Add to it the fact that the entire 2018 cryptocurrency market is really bad that a lot of coins and projects die or have postponed their ICOs and launching dates to avoid an untimely crash.
569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest bitcoins on: January 10, 2019, 12:34:54 PM
Why don't you buy some altcoins? That is one good way to grow your Bitcoins. Buy some altcoins with your Bitcoins when they are cheap and then sell them when their prices rise. But of course, you will have to leave some Bitcoins in your wallet. Every wallet should have some. After all, it is like an unwritten rule that the king of crypto is a must in every wallet of crypto supporter. Trading is one good way as well. But you need to learn it first. Or perhaps invest some of your Bitcoins in legit lending platforms. Just choose wisely.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Our future with Crypto on: January 10, 2019, 11:40:25 AM
I believe that it is about time to go digital. The world is turning high-tech and paper money and hard and heavy coins are already a thing of the past. This age is about computers, online transactions, paperless communication, soft database, artificial intelligence, and the likes, and yet we still have our hard leather wallets inside our pockets because we are still using our banks and government-issued money. Our monetary system is being left behind. But for sure they will be changing very soon. It is just that the banks and the governments are earning so much from this old system. They are fighting for it.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Giveaway Threads on: January 10, 2019, 11:22:49 AM
Giveaways used to be a good thing here in this forum. They were once legitimate projects with legitimate objectives and teams, giving away legitimate coins or tokens. There used to be so great airdrops and campaigns as well. I remember theviralexchange giving away nice cryptos such as Stratis and others. Now, giveaways are a garbage. They are already a waste of time. Aside from the fact that most of them are scam, the rest are only giving away a very small and insignificant amount.

Speaking of threads here, you should all avoid those that are giving links. Avoid clicking them. Either they are clickbaits to increase traffic or they are phishing sites or other types of nonsense. Or worse they contain malware and viruses.
572  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: January 08, 2019, 01:04:03 AM
You won't have to rant here. Instead of whining, take the silver lining. By having all these weak hands selling their coins at a huge loss, they will be cleansed out from the community. What remains are true believers and HODLers. Well, let them come back if they want but they will have to buy the same coin that they dumped at a much expensive price. In that way, they may have lost but gained some lessons. They will mature through that and they will become one of us HODLers. Make no mistake, a lot of us began having weak hands.
573  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's up with bitcoin ? on: January 07, 2019, 04:58:48 AM
What is going on with bitcoin ? there are many fluctuations in short span of time within a limit of $500? but bitcoin is unable to reach a new landmark and trailing around $4000. what's the reason for these temporary price fluctuations?

Price fluctuations are never temporary. They are permanent. There was never a time in crypto in which the prices are steady. There will always be rising and falling of prices. The only temporary here are the prices. You cannot rely on them to be stagnant for a long time. There was so much hard time for Bitcoin to finally push this $4,000 back. It crosses the threshold and then loses it quickly. For now, we are once again crossing the $4,000 mark. I hope this will be continuous until somewhere safe around $4,500.
574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle tough times in cryptocurrency? on: January 06, 2019, 03:23:30 AM
There were a lot of decisions made. Some sold their BTCs and other coins right at the breaking of the ATH. Some also sold theirs after a month or two of serious dip. And then there were a lot of people who believed that the last ATH will once again come back after 6 months at most of red candles. They were left hanging as they kept on HODLing to their coins despite the very sad reality of the market that lasted for a year. I was one of them. The next thing that I thought was necessary after suffering a big loss was to keep on HODLing until the market recovers. I am still a strong believer of crypto, especially of BTC, that's why I don't mind waiting for a little more while. At the end of the day, the prices will always come back and even surpassed.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this just a bounce? on: January 06, 2019, 02:17:57 AM
You know, the market has already a life of its own, so to speak. It seems to move up and down, sometimes following news, sometimes going beyond them. There are times when the news and the overall mood seems all right and then the price suddenly falls down hard. There are times when there seems to be nothing special and then there goes the strong pump. The bounce will continue forever. Just stick to the buy low sell high basic principle and you are good. When it is too cheap, do not just be an onlooker. Buy your own choice of coins and then sell when there's good green.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin and crypto currency ALWAYS getting hacked?? on: January 05, 2019, 03:32:55 AM
Bitcoin to be exact has never been hacked. Although of course various wallets have been hacked so whatever they contain should have been taken by the hackers, that includes of course Bitcoin. Crypto hacking is widespread but that is going to be expected because there is so much wealth in there than somewhere else. The hackers must also be choosing which one is going to be worth hacking and a bit easier to escape from. That includes individual wallets. That is why extra care should be given in saving private keys and PINs.
577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you lose your confidence as an investor? on: January 04, 2019, 11:04:22 AM
As for me, I still am very confident that what I did was right. I got into crypto, released a good amount of savings from my wallet, bought Bitcoin and several altcoins, took some of the profit after a while, HODL the rest, and got rekt after that. I am not regretful. Nor am I losing confidence of what I am doing right now. I have watched crypto for a while now, rising and falling is always the way.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why are you afraid of buying bitcoin? on: January 04, 2019, 06:47:39 AM
It is a fact that there are a lot of people who prefer not to take risks. These people are either fearful of taking something they are not sure about or they are simply too comfortable with what they have and who they are. Either way, they remain stagnant. In other words, they will be left when innovation and golden opportunities arrive. And the sad thing is that opportunities almost always knock on your door only once. Buy now or regret later.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: January 04, 2019, 06:16:13 AM
It will definitely happen after the hard fork. As to when exactly, that we do not know. August of 2019 is after the hard fork. December 2019 is also after the hard fork. Well, 2020 is also after the hard fork. Ethereum hitting back $1,000 is always going to happen. But I am more excited as to how high Ethereum's price gets before the hard fork. I have been seeing some nice growth. There are now several days remaining before the fork is finally happening. Will it break $1,000 on or before that?
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is about to take back number #2 on: January 04, 2019, 05:46:45 AM
Ethereum has already taken back the second top spot. Ripple has already given way. But I think this is not something that truly represents the price movements of the rest of the altcoins, following what Ethereum has shown. Although I have seen great price movements of several altcoins in the past hours, I believe Ethereum's case is highly indicative of the bullish outlook of the network's Contantinople hard fork in the near days.
