I should probably do this - should have done 2 years ago lol

Code:

deleted the above post - this address was generated by bitcoinvanitygen.com and is compromised as of 10/06/2020 when site owner swept hundreds of private keys and stole all funds on any active address.

I am currently using a balletcrypto wallet and will post a new signed address - after I figure out how to sign from their wallets

anything signed from the address above after this date is not valid and is not from me

i am not familiar with the wallet but if it is a custodial wallet then it is no good. needs to be a non-custodial wallet.

Haha! I noticed that - technically there were 6 prizes and you were number 7 - but let me take a look tomorrow and I'll dig up a 7th prize!  Wink

Nice and congrats to all! If I had any merit left, this post would get one!

Cheers and thanks TNM! Smiley

i'll give it one Smiley

Current high bids

Sorry, I'd bid, but I'm not going to go against this idiot, and I think other people are not interested either, because this dude has been banned from basically every reputable auction or raffle etc... Also, https://i.imgur.com/sIj75Omm.jpg

I stopped bidding because of that. Sorry.

Oh man, am i a winner ?
you picked 7 of us, but I can only see 6 prizes on the 1st page ....
I like the karma that thenovember man won my free raffle and I may or may not have one his.

suspence .... winner or not ?

that might be because of my post which should have read "here is the starting block and the last 7 blocks" ie the 8 blocks total as it was the starting one and 7 after it.

be useful and return the funds you stole from all the people that used your vanity gen ---- hundreds of addresses were emptied today all at one time.

Unfortunately, we know that the chances of doing that are less than 0.01%. Someone goes for exit scam... Cry
Same as OP, who is been proved a scammer.

maybe but he keeps coming on the forums... last time was about 20 mins ago.

So? The forum is free for anyone. The only thing that we can do is to tag them and try to prevent other members (especialy newbies) not to deal with any of them. I can t think any other way.

oh I know this - but if they keep coming back here - I will post the same message on every post they make. I would hate to see anyone else fall for their scam.

The issues I have :
• Even though I read a lot of topics, I am unable to answer to them, since either they have already been answered
• I don't have a special skill set to offer some services in the services board
• I felt like I am being left out, it's been a few months since I am on the forum and my progress has slowed down drastically,
a) let that not discourage you, i mean, often similiar answer in reality expanding expected result from topic author, even few extra words can make difference of understanding the answer, so just try explain it again but with your own words
b) that is something you can work out. Focus on learning specific thing you can help others with or earn money. For example programming language that you enjoy the most
c) it all depends on your goals here, im here to learn, help and have fun from time to time, thats it, but i see many many people are here to earn money that way or another

be useful and return the funds you stole from all the people that used your vanity gen ---- hundreds of addresses were emptied today all at one time.
5615  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: https://bitcoinvanitygen.com - not samr7 vanitygen on: October 07, 2020, 04:24:58 AM
Well MoparMiningLLC, I sympathize with you, but I want to ask you, is your friend a bitcointalk member? I was reading the conversation on Discord and following the conversation on this thread, and it occurred to me that your friend's behavior might be even more unacceptable than you think.

What is the likelihood that he emptied addresses in his favor and told you that he used bitcoinvanitygen.com (knowing about the theft precedents)

he is not a member here to the best of my knowledge - while there is over 100 instances of the bitcoinvanitygen in the internet history, there is zero instances of these forums. he basically was lazy, the program was taking too long so he took a short cut and figured it was fine and that no one would be the wiser.

as for him emptying the addresses - there were hundreds affected i mean hundreds - one txn had 150 another had 90 something etc etc if it was him, he would have had to generated a lot of addresses and I dont think he is  a thief - just a dumb ass.

edit - as a note, the site is not currently reachable. at least for me it is not. and notice that he no longer has the site listed in his signature. and probably not a coincidence he was on the forums today - the day of the heist.
5616  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Raffle] Spend a Buck Win a Penny 2015 Bitcoin Penny Raffle on: October 07, 2020, 04:19:08 AM

Yet I still have red trust from you for it - or is your red trust just fake and based on retaliating for the rightful red trust you got for your inappropriate behavior? Your red trust was valid, mine was and still is not.
Mopar LLC,

First of all why you add all the garbage in your response, just use small part. Your rating means nothing to me. You promised that you will not poke me but you do it anyway.  Grin Who is right and who is wrong - you are wrong person to discuss with. I will just go ahead delete the rating for you if that make you popular, I don care. Go ahead delete mine. Learn to build a positive relation not sucky one. One thing I would expect you will never ever lie to anyone, ok. I will go ahead delete now. Be a good boy

Tell me a positive thing today just one positive thing from your head. Just one.

Sincerely, Rainbowsky

It's positive that you deleted the false trust rating. and it's positive that I will not be deleting yours. The one I placed was valid based on your activity, ranting, name calling, derailing of posts in general and the fact that you are ban evading. Your red trust rating was falsely placed, was pure retaliation.

It is not about "popularity" it is about right or wrong. And you were wrong.  I will say thank you though for correcting the error though. Now if you could manage to change the dozens of other negatives, you might have a chance here.

I could not report the site to the hosting service provider. It's asking me to create an account and I am not in a mood to create one. Will anyone do the reporting and keep us undated? I may find some times later if no one does this.
This domain needs to be off from the cloud.
I did report them (and suggested MoparMining to do the same) on Google's safebrowsing page. They are more focused on phishing websites, but I think there is a chance they block the website: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en

I also just reported them to OVH: https://www.ovh.pt/abuse/

Ty - I wonder how many of the affected are on here.
