5801  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Terminus R606 750GH (up to 1TH) quiet miner, now shipping on: August 23, 2020, 06:09:07 PM
I apologize for reviving an old thread, but thought it made more sense to ask the question here instead of starting a new topic.

I'm tossing around purchasing a Terminus R606 and curious about the thermal output as well as noice levels. Can anyone that owns one of these units please chime in?

Mine is cool to the touch - it sits on my desk - sound is not noticeable - perfect little desktop units.

Yes, my bad. I don't know how this happened, but when I first looked I saw 0 merits. Maybe I looked at someone else?! Anyway, sorry for the confusion.

you just need more coffee maybe? Smiley

here are you images - next time use imgbb.com then bbcode full linked - I dont think your level here will matter to post those.

5808  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The Very First CryptoArt Print "Bits of Change" on: August 22, 2020, 07:54:04 PM
are you going to list them as an auction or have a set price in mind? separately or both together?
5809  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] ⚫ Crypto Stamp 2.0 Full Set in BLACK ⚫ on: August 22, 2020, 05:38:42 PM
.003 BTC

winner! Smiley
payment address was sent to you!

I have not received anything as of yet. I will be out mostly all day tomorrow - checking forums on phone but will not be able to post payment until I am home. So that might be Monday.

arrived today. USPS was dumb as hell though - tossed it in my yard during a rainstorm -- smh your packaging with two layers saved it though.

5810  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The Very First CryptoArt Print "Bits of Change" on: August 22, 2020, 03:40:17 PM
I reached out to cryptoart.com to confirm that these pieces were authentic - not to question anyone's integrity here, but to provide validation for those of us who are less familiar with all the pieces they have generated - his explanation also explains why it is not listed on their site, while they generated the pieces, they never sold them so they would not be listed on the site.

he did state one of the 3 I linked to him had a deposit address that had been used.

5811  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The Very First CryptoArt Print "Bits of Change" on: August 22, 2020, 01:34:34 PM
please post pictures of the item with your forum name and date included on a piece of paper with the art work.

a few of these have been posted in the past, one selling earlier this year in Feb for .041 BTC and another one in Mar for .04 BTC I myself would be interested in one depending on the price.

I wish that cryptoart.com had an accurate list of their sold out pieces as this is one that is not listed there under Nina Y - the only sold out piece under Nina Y is the DarkCoin (another well sought after piece) Protectionism
5812  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO]-Crypto Stamps- Collectable Blockchain postage stamps on: August 22, 2020, 01:13:07 PM
So, is the Croatia stamp just one stamp? Like the image or will there be additional ones based on the list of motifs, ie one per motif or just one motif with all images combined like the image above?

5813  Economy / Collectibles / Re: single card holders for credit card sized physicals (group buy) on: August 22, 2020, 12:55:25 PM
unfortunately a misfortune happened to me yesterday. Lips sealed
2 ballet wallets fell on the floor together with the plastic case. the two cases broke and are no longer usable. Undecided
unfortunately on the official ballet homepage there is no possibility to get only the plastic cases without ordering the related wallets...
now my question to the big community here
does anyone here have 2 plastic cases and would sell them to me? Smiley

I have a request in with Ballet to purchase some cases - if no one else has any, I will set two aside for you.

big thanks and let me know when the time comes.👍

finally, the time has come - i would then order 2 pieces. Grin
the payment will be done this weekend

added you Smiley
5814  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO]- STORAGE ITEMS FOR YOUR COLLECTABLES on: August 22, 2020, 12:54:55 PM
I was asked to link the cases being worked on to hold the dual coldkey halving editions. You can see the progress here and request to be on the second batch if you are not already on the list for the first or second batch currently.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5262912.0

also for single card physical collectibles here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5270540.0

I have verified they do fit:

Ballet (of course)
Coldkey
Coldkite
WEUKID cards (generic cards with name and public address) more used for sharing your pub address as a QR code on a credit card sized card
CS1 and CS2 stamps

I have verified that they do not fit:

LYNX wallets (they are about 3/32" too long)

5815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ¤ DMD Diamond 3.0 | Scarce ¤ Valuable ¤ Secure | PoS 3.0 | Masternodes 65% on: August 22, 2020, 06:25:59 AM
whether there is a new version coming or not, existing aides should reflect accurate information - especially to people new to DMD trying join the project. It is better than saying "sorry, we know it's outdated and not that accurate, but hey sometime in the near future - date unknown - we will update it when the DMD v4 comes out..."

I mean really, how long would it take to fix? probably less time then explaining over and over in posts as to why it isn't being updated...
5816  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Alpen Coin - “Switzerland’s first ever physical bitcoin” on: August 22, 2020, 03:36:29 AM
did you go with the 29 mm or the 30 mm rings? and I think it is the thickness maybe the front of the coin is slightly raised - not much as the raised portion fits into the recessed area on the back of a second coin. but still enough to maybe make it hard to close fully.

Yep, the 29 mm ...

And yes, I believe you are right, the thickness is just a micro-hair off, but still work pretty fine. Had to push the foam in evenly on all sides to get a snug fit, but whatever, I wore gloves this time haha. Grin

I'll finish up that full list this weekend, sorry again I missed so much stuff because I'm so busy/tired during the week! Thanks! Cheesy

if you want to get links - use my list, I pulled all the addresses for all 199 and they are in my post.

U can search ultrapro screw case for this.
They made alot of case made for magic the gathering card
They have snap, magnetic or screw case

that fit? I have tried to find one that fits the dimensions all the ones I have seen are too large (more fitting to a sports card) I even had https://www.bcwsupplies.com/ go thru their entire assorted sizes and the closest they found was still 1/8" too large so the card slides around.

edited to remove my quote of owlcatz - I was confused by his post and thought it was to me even though he quoted Geosgaen0 and I totally missed that at first.

Thank you for the heads up Mopar! I don't have any need to join the group buy at this time, but I have been on the lookout for credit card sized holders like this. The best I could come up with was very thick acrylic display cases - and while these are nice, they are typically held together by magnets. The Ballet one is perfect, a tighter seal, the softer plastic is less prone to damage the inserted card versus the acrylic, etc.

For my case, I am just swapping out the a Pizza Ballet with a card I had in an acrylic display case, so again, no need for me to join in on the group buy. But thank you for posting this!!

you can order just 1 via this group/bulk buy for 3.25 - the order will be going to minerjones who can combine with other shipments you might have.

Nice same here but with white. They are a bit tough to fit completely snugly but they work fine. Wink

Well please sign me up for the second batch if possible.  Looking for 2 cases.  Much appreciated.
