5621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: September 16, 2020, 10:32:35 AM
Hi guys,

Am i missing something here?

I thought the algo change was to go back to cpu/gpu mining, but i cant see a standalone cpu miner anywhere?
Does anyone know of one?
Pretty pointless change otherwise, cos no way you can make anything mining in the wallet.

yea mining from the wallet has netted me only 8 blocks so far in 12 days - i found 3 blocks for the pool in a few hours.
5622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: September 16, 2020, 03:58:31 AM

yes I agree on both of those points. I was like wait a minute, the block reward increased? lol and I am seeing those errors too. but I dont know of any other pools that are using the new algo for bitcore.

Look at https://pool.rplant.xyz/
but Nvidia miner is much slower for this pool (My config gives 15 Mh/s at rplant vs. 25 Mh/s at coinspool)

well that would not be worth it. really need to get the miners optimized that is for sure. as time goes by, that should hopefully be rectified.
5623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: September 16, 2020, 03:14:07 AM

Daily income calculator should be corrected. Indeed total Block reward is 1.5625 but only a half goes to PoW miners (0.78125 BTX). So divide forecasted income by two.

Also there is often connection error
Code:
Stratum connection interrupted

Here is a (beta) nvidia miner for my pool: http://www.coinspool.cc/static/ccminer_megabtx.zip

Just set your bitcore address, (maybe one secure port if you have big rig) and start mine Wink

If you have issue, contact me on pm!

Elbandi

well have been using this miner - so far pool has found 4 blocks during that time (5 total but 1 I assume is the one from yesterday) - though not sure how to see what I have earned though as it still says my balance is zero - guessing maybe have to wait till its confirmed? the site could use some better stats or a way to look up a miners stats if they are not currently mining.

edit - I do see in the pending blocks that it shows my miner as the finder of the first, third and fourth blocks as well (I used 2 different addresses)

Hey sorry for the wait on payment, I will send tonight and update this later with the tx id:)

all good!

Received mine. Top notch stuff. The pics do not do this justice.

My cold keys never looked better. Great work Mopar

Excited to receive mine in the post today  Cheesy

hope they meet your expectations - and if they do not please provide some constructive criticism - I can use it to improve future cases.
5627  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Cointral gold bitcoin cards - Turkey on: September 15, 2020, 05:09:22 PM
Guys. They are refunding my BTC because they said they cannot ship overseas due to covid. Will update once I get my btc back. Wink

Edit - Refunded - Good people IMO, but should remove ordering options to USA. Roll Eyes

Thanks for updating us.  These guys are for sure not running their business very well. They still have not gotten back to me on my question..which is about making a purchase, has to make you wonder.  Not like they knew where I am located either.

Owl did you happen to get any info from them about whether these are cards with gold embedded in them or if they are just going to send you some ingots?

I'm sick of Covid being an excuse for shit shipping. I get it if shipping is slow as all hell, but how is covid making all these packages disappear? All these mailing systems need major overhauls.

dunno why shipping is an issue - in the past 3 weeks I have shipped to Hungary, Australia, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Ukraine, Indonesia and New Zealand with no issues.

glad you like the case! I already have ideas on how to improve the design if we go to do larger like 4 or 6 or even 12 card holders
5629  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Cointral gold bitcoin cards - Turkey on: September 15, 2020, 05:27:28 AM
i think what rxalts is trying to say is if you go to cointral.com (the address on the card) there is no link to the "store" page - so he may be suggesting that cointral.com and cointral.store are not the same entity?
Bottom of the site. Under "Products" you can find "Cointral Store" -> cointral.store

Guys... CTRL/CMD+F.

here he is! lol - he is still nameless, she cannot decide between two names - she will probably decide when the hospital forces her to fill out the forms lol

meh damn moderators moved this to off-topic where no one I know will see it. they need to fire 99% of all the moderators.

First off I am happy for you and that number 11 is okay. My older brother had the cord around his neck and was blue color when born. HE pulled through fine and 67 years later he is still okay. BETTER actually but this is about you. Not me. When I get home I will give your more points from big account. Good luck with numbers 1-12.  When do we get to a bakers dozen?

lol thanks Phil! #12 is next week - still 3 that dont have children!

so here is 11 + 2 = 13.

it is nice to have a lot of kids around.

Do you want some moonlander sticks for the grandkids to play with?

I had the one you sent last time - it worked great but it broke - I had it hanging horizontally from a usb port - I think they need to be sticking straight up lol - I am going to attempt to fix it though Smiley
you are now at 500 so you can be a real hero to the grandkids.

ha! thanks Phil!

so the blocks it said I found were wrong or right? and do i need to change something?

edit - the miner is running more smoothly now but i am still curious about all those blocks it said i found - I stopped counting after 35 or so. though the miner says i am running at about 25 mh/s and the pool says 1.6 mh/s

for example i am getting this scrolling repeatedly

now its acting all goofy again - not sure if its the pool or the miner. but going to give it a break for a few days and see if any new updates come out.

we already found a block. the pool hashrate display was buggy. i tested with my pc, and displays same as the miner.

i dont know, why shows many foundblocks for you. Sad
not sure but it started tossing up errors about diff too low and rejecting all the shares.

what miner are you using? I was using wildrig

I will be the guinea pig and buy one lol

scratch that - I cannot get past the order page - the button does nothing and eventually I get a 404 error - will try in a while or tomorrow.
5636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: September 14, 2020, 11:35:43 PM
no matter what port I use - it rejects 99% of all shares as being too low diff

and while the miner(using wildrig) says that i "found shares" the pool still says nothing.

now wildrig is reporting that i am finding a block but pool still shows zero.
Fixed, there was a wrong settings in pool config. :/

Sugar Free Sweet CHILI

on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the highest)

packaging: 9

smell: 9

texture: 10

flavor: 8

moisture level: 10

My grandson's give it the following:

on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the highest)

packaging: 8

appearance: 10

smell: 9

texture: 9

flavor: 10

moisture level: 10

feedback on SF Sweet Chili:
Now, as sugar free goes - this one is much better than the other one was - and the other one was good! I like the moisture level of this one much more and the flavor was more subtle. I would love to see how you do with a non SF flavor of this same range! Like the other ones before, this was not heavily salted.

As I stated with the last two batches you sent - I think you are on a great track - keep up the good work!

Hey Mopar , this might be in off topic , but some of us take a real interest  Smiley Perhaps some people forget why we are in this crypto sphere - for our families ! Please keep us updated and most importantly - good health to all your family and just like your bitcoin - let the family increase exponentially . Congrats again and hope the next grandchild comes into the world with a lot more ease  Smiley

true!  I will share pictures and a name - when she finally names him, she still has not decided lol.

the next one is due in a week, so we will find out soon!
