I agree.
After posting that, I noticed there are lots of other pool bettings (mutual betting?) threads on gambling discussion section. I didn't take notice of them in the past probably because I did not really know much about pool betting.
Looks like your thread is more busy now. Hopefully, that will translate to more bettors.
Hopefully we will get you in the next pool? :-D

By the way @JSRAW, can you post a bitcoin address to receive your winnings in the pool topic? : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5200190.0

Cheers,

Edit: Seems like I do not have Haunebu's address too. LOL
Guys please post your addresses in the pool topic so that I can pay the pool winners. Here again:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5200190.0
5743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 25, 2019, 10:15:38 AM
I don't think they are capable of winning match in New Zealand seaming and bouncy conditions, they really don't have test level batting capacities. Their batsmen habitual of play so many shots and in test cricket is not about playing so many shots but playing safe shots.
May be but I am still triggered to go with England again in the 2nd Test too. Let's see how they perform. 2019 is a lucky year for England and I am sure before the Christmas they wil have another lucky winning and this could be the next Test.
5744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 Mutual betting & MutiBet IN SAME MATCH discussion & active Markets 🏆 on: November 25, 2019, 10:11:33 AM

West Indies vs Afghanistan match is about to start with in couple of days.
Don't you think this will be a one sided pool like the Bangladesh Vs India? I don't think there will be many people to side for Afghanistan. However if there are few interest then I can create the pool for this match too.
Let me know few of you at leasst.
5745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 25, 2019, 10:06:16 AM
I just check its very interesting Mount Maunganui, is new Test cricket home as its first test is going to play here between these two teams and after checking players look like New Zealand is going with advantage as they have three good bowlers these all can do any damage to any batting side batting is also going with good advantage as they have good unit and England is going with few new names so New Zealand can win this match.
You are saying this after I put more money for England ! :-P
Anyway, it does not matter. As long as we enjoy the Test match and it does not go one sided then I think we are fine. I am expecting a good Test match and I will feel great if England wins :-)

Very odd time for Indian, because it's start 3:30 AM, so not going to play on this, but in NZ, winning from NZ is very hard because of so much swinging condition. According to me, you will never see more swing bowling than NZ anywhere. NZ bowlers are far better swing bowlers than ENG.

England played really bad cricket in last day, they throw their wickets on bad balls and lose the match because of that otherwise pitch was not that bad even on 5th day of match.
Well if we look back then:
In WC final they were lucky to win it.
In the 2nd ashes Test they were lucky that Stokesi was the man
And in several other occasions as well.
But this time the luck did not work I guess.

I was not able to see any ball of this Test so really have not much idea about how the match was processed in the firld. I hope they comeback in the 2nd Test and win it. I guess no one wants to see a boring series.
5746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 Mutual betting & MutiBet IN SAME MATCH discussion & active Markets 🏆 on: November 25, 2019, 09:52:13 AM
Looks like my luck ran out  Grin Or England ran out of their luck  Tongue ENG wouldn't have got past 300 if NZ didn't drop few catches. In the end, it was New Zealand's day. I hope they win this series Smiley

So Royse, do we have mutual bet for the 2nd Test Match ?
So England lost the first Test! What a shame.
I am still on my bed and once I have access of my laptop I will pay the winners.
Yes for the 2nd Test we will have another pool.
Congrats to the winners.
5747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A whale transfers $310 millions worth bitcoins for a ridiculously low fee!!! on: November 25, 2019, 06:06:31 AM
What I’m failing to understand is why are we subjected to higher transfer fees when we transfer with fiat, why can’t our banks charge us lower transfer fees? Is it not possible for banks to create their own tokens using blockchain, and allow us to transfer using those tokens and thereby allowing us to have the lower fees advantage?
Okay:
Have you imagined how many humen involved in the transfer process of your money in a bank to bank? Let's say international transfer.
Have you wondered how many times they need to have permissions from the government?
Have you wondered the paperworks needed to make the transfer?
And all this cost money. How are bank is going to get that money?
Fees!!! Put x% of $310 m and that becomes a lot to pay the salary of the staffs.

Now with  Blockchain, since there are no middlemen except the miner. So you are just paying shit low amount as fees. We need bitcoin adoption for freedom.
5748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: November 25, 2019, 05:47:17 AM
Adpotion. We need more people to use crypto. Any government or such power can not stop the use if one is knowledgeable properly. We need more awareness about the benefits of crypto especially bitcoin. Like:
Decentralisation,
Limited supply,
Can not create from out of thin air etc.

The more crypto educated people we will have the better the space will become.

5750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 24, 2019, 02:25:11 PM

Thanks mate, it was 2 days back Grin
I expected NZ to play well but not this good Tongue Let's see how it goes on Day 5, there is still a chance for ENG to fight for a draw  Tongue
After a good ashes I was expecting England to continue going with lucks but it never happened lol
NZ were too cruel to the English.
Now may be again Stokes can come as their saviour?
We will see.

By the way , I hope you had a good birthday.
5751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning! Here's Why BTC is Set To Fall To 3000 or Lower! on: November 24, 2019, 12:43:41 PM
Get ready to buy then !
You won't get this 2nd chance anymore in fact I suggest to start now. Sell your organs and start buying.
5752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 24, 2019, 10:26:46 AM

An utter waste of time watching the test series between India and Bangladesh. Wiped out with  even getting a second chance. Bangladesh team has to tremendously work hard to survive test cricket in the future. What a waste of resources and money by the Bangladesh team.
Calm down :-D
I do not think it was a waste of time and money or resources. Every international match makes money even if it washed out. Yes Bangladesh team performed bad but that does not mean that they are such bad team.

Thing is that India is so high in confidence and performance that team like Bangladesh really needed more strength to give a fight against them.

I have not watched the match but looking at the score board and players performance I can tell that India is playing outstanding cricket. So does Australia.
5753  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Commitment is part of the solution on: November 24, 2019, 10:18:20 AM
No offense but isn't it the same that you have done that you were suggesting not to do? Have you done a search to find that tells the same you wanted to tell? This board is filled with such conversation and if I was in my laptop then I could bring you lots of example posts.

Yes we have users who are sometimes over doing things to get attentions (sometimes it turns out funny) and stuffs but again we have users in the community who are doing silently that they were suppose to do.
If someone's work is rewardable (merit in this case ) then they will have it eventually.
5754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 24, 2019, 08:30:31 AM
Another test match is coming to the end of India vs Bangladesh as Bangladesh trail by 57 runs and only 2 wickets remaining. This means high chances that Indi will win the match by innings and few runs. This is not the ideal start Bangladesh would have wanted after losing in T20 series.

Bangladesh Test team really needs a re-frame I guess. If I am not wrong then before this India series they lost against Afghanistan in the only Test in their ground. Then this disaster in this India series. Is this a two Test series?

~snip~

Let the Birthday boy win the pot  Grin
Really! I did not know that!
Happy birthday akhjob!
5755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 24, 2019, 08:00:18 AM
New Zealand needs another 7 more wickets to win the match, Santner is bowling really well and took three wickets and i wish he will take a 5 wicket haul here and since he scored a century it will be a good double and i will win the bet  Wink Cheesy.
I will win the bet too along with you if that happens. I am impressed with Santner in this match. A century and several big wickets on top of that made me understand that he is one of the vital parts of this New Zealand squad.

If NZ somehow manage to remove Stokes and Denly early, we will most likely win our bets. If not, this could end in a draw and Akhjob will win. Lets see what happens.
I just checked with my calculation and if New Zealand wins then this (roughly) is what you guys will get in return(fees could be a bit high or low):

Code:
JSRAW 0.00010000 16.66666667	0.00033258
SaShiRaJaVu 0.00040000 66.66666667 0.00133031
Haunebu 0.00010000 16.66666667 0.00033258

But in case of a Draw result all goes to akhjob :-D
5756  Other / Meta / Re: Use of TOR Browser for Bitcointalk on: November 24, 2019, 07:36:31 AM
Is it safe to use TOR browser as i heard it is a dark web browser where hackers can hack our credentials and information ?
Using tor browser has nothing to do with Dark net. Good people use it to protect their privacy. You can use VPN as well.

Hacking your credential has nothing to do with TOR browser as well.
Hacking can happen if you are not aware of the security measures that one needs to know to use internet. There are phishing attempts, pop ups, unwanted malware visiting risky sites ans some many things. Anyone can inject a piece of program and can risk your security if you are not aware about minimum required knowledge when your are browsing online.

I am currently using Firefox but i want to use TOR browser to login Bitcointalk.
Are you saying you wan to use firefox with Tor connection?
5757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 Mutual betting & MutiBet IN SAME MATCH discussion & active Markets 🏆 on: November 24, 2019, 06:24:55 AM
Thank you and save yourself from war :-P

Anyway, it seems NZ now have a very good chance to win this Test. England already lost 3 wickets and they will have to bat for the whole 5th day to chase 207 runs to save the Test from losing.

Either England lose or Draw. So me and the other guy who gone with England have Zero chance :-D
5758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 23, 2019, 03:02:34 PM
Honestly speaking I have only watched one ball from this entire match so far. Not sure who was betting and who was bowling but when I saw Bangladesh lost their 4th wicket then there were no real interest left to see the Mach and waste time lol

This entire Test series turned out to be really one sided and if the Bangladesh team keep showing this type of performance then I will say as a Test team they need a break.

Very low standard for a Test playing nation.
Cricket needs to be exciting and it's not their in this match.
5759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 Mutual betting & MutiBet IN SAME MATCH discussion & active Markets 🏆 on: November 23, 2019, 01:03:32 PM

Was busy last 2 days irl and because of the bitcointalk art contest. Just watched the highlights of the test match. And I am happy to see how Newzealand bowled and batted. Since 3 days have already been over and NZ still batting with 4 wickets in hand, I am expecting to win the pool alone Grin Unless ENG somehow fails to play for 90+ overs.

@Royse, looks like the Multibet didn't attract much interest, maybe not everyone discussing in the Cricket discussions is an active gambler (including me). Maybe you'll have to open up for the Football lovers
Can you post the link of the art you submitted? I have seen one game developed by a user and also seen a robot theme art in the content. There are some outstanding works there which deserves recognition.
Back to topic, the chances for you to win the pool is very very high and I hope you make it. Joining these pools are really fun and winning is just bonus I think.

This multibet thing, I guess I will continue it and will add football soon too. And in this case again I will need to change the topic title lol

I missed the multibet thread while scrolling down as i thought both will be in one thread if not i would have tried that too even thought i am not great in wagging a multi bet in a single event.
I suggest to join the telegram channel and the link is in the op. I basically updating their once I make a topic. The advantage is that you wil get insteant notification. So, chances to miss is less.
