581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [CPD] Crypto Police Department-Solving Bitcoin/Crypto centered crimes on: June 16, 2014, 08:22:48 PM
Pedophilia and murders? Were the hell are you getting your figures from? By the way, most Bitcoin users are pretty untraceable. To remain anonymous, they could use TOR or a VPN. Tell us, how would you find them?

And Christ, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather have cops sniffing for it instead of a random guy on the Internet.

And having a certain set of people isn't how a Police Department is formed.
582  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 0.05btc loan on: June 16, 2014, 02:57:53 PM
The fact that you are still posting in here is ridiculous, i have never seen someone wanted more attention and being so 'selfish'.
Please leave this thread, your posts have absolutely no value here. And calling me a 'scammer'? are you actually serious?

The one who should actually leave it is you. Lending without collateral involves very high risk and it is called GAMBLING. This is the lending section.
And no, whatever you say isn't going to change that. You are looking for gamblers here not lenders.

You can only call me a scammer when i dont pay the money.

and yes i fully agree with acid.

He can call you, and the other dumb dude, scammer as many times as he wants.

First, you ask for a loan here without collateral thus breaking the rules.
Second, you provide a short and very bland/fake description of what you intend to do with the coins: "Ive seen some alt crypto's with big opportunity".

If you don't want to be called scammer do not look and act like one.

Yeah you are obviously the good guy here arent you? with your rules and lending/gambling knowledge over other people?

The guy already trusted me and i swore that he will get his money back. You can only call me a scammer when i actually scammed.

Just leave this thread for now, dont want to make it more of a discussion.

I honestly really hate jumping into fights, but the rule of no collateral =/- loan is sacred. It's pretty much sprouted upon every thread, and people with common sense know this. If you went to a bank, they'd most likely shoo you away if you say, "Yup, I can definitely pay you back."
583  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Lack of Major Wars May Be Hurting Economic Growth on: June 16, 2014, 02:53:48 PM
I guess. But let's be honest, most countries want wars so they can get more funding from the people. And to get more land on foreign or their own soil, to show who the true champ is.
584  Other / Meta / Re: Happy Birthday, theymos. on: June 16, 2014, 02:45:18 PM
Thank you! Cheesy

Happy B-Day, Theymos. Aren't you in the 20-25 age range?

And were you born, or conceived on the 15th?
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holiday Inn launched Bitcoin trial in New York on: June 16, 2014, 02:39:10 PM
Woah. Is it a special season going on? I could guess more businesses in the Summer will start to accept it... But jeez, at least 8-10 businesses have adopted Bitcoin.

8-10 businesses? what glue are you sniffing. i count over 100k businesses indirectly and atleast 30k directly.. so why is your research stuck in 2010??

Oh, no, by that number I meant businesses that have recently started to. I guess it would be considered more of late Spring-Early Summer, big ones.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin.org on: June 16, 2014, 12:24:54 PM
I think Sirius still owns bitcoin.org and bitcointalk.org. We know that theymos now runs [Suspicious link removed]. It is possible that theymos is also running it now.

I really like your answer, and thanks DeathProxy.

So who is Sirius? And theymos?

Satoshi handed the forum down to Sirius during the sourceforge days I think. Sirius created Bitcointalk. Then, the permissions were handed down from him to Theymos. Theymos is the current Admin/overseer/*Insert BDSM pun here*/Sadistic Staff Member (LOL, lied about were the BDSM pun belongs.)

Do the people joining today need to write 50 posts till tomorrow ?

Yes. Should have waited until tomorrow, or better start posting Smiley

No, they can take the posts for the next month (or week depending on the comming changes)

Yes, true, but I thought he wants a payment tomorrow... That's why I told him to post.
I don think its so easy to make 50 post in less than 24 hours ...

If any one going to try this 50 posts in less then 24 hour then he is trying for his ban from any mod  Wink

Not necessarily. There's some heavy-duty spammers on here, some of them are entertaining like PG, but others outright spam all day. Either they slip out of the mod's finger tips, or they're clever spammers.

Germany will win and Ronaldo will cry, I love it when he cries.

Grin When he beat Messi. And then someone made a game about him crying one time! Lol, what the hell? Do people on the the Interwebs get off on tears?

590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1800 Flowers to accept bitcoin! on: June 16, 2014, 11:33:27 AM
Pretty big company. I wonder if it's 'sister' companies will take Bitcoin, as well. Would be interesting to buy popcorn, and fruit bouquets.

Sister companies? Which ones? BTW... who is the owner of 1-800 Flowers?

This news was mostly ignored by the mainstream media. None of the media outlets other than CoinTelegraph covered it.

Popcorn Factory, Fruit Bouquets, Cheryl's, Stock Yards, 1-800 Baskets, and #JustBEcause. I've never heard of the last one, but the other ones are used throughout America. I'm pretty sure the owner's name starts with James, or Jim.

EDIT:

in fact, I ordered a Filet Mignon at a store once, and it was Stock Yard brand.

592  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best place to 'invest' my BTC? on: June 16, 2014, 11:22:10 AM
I wouldn't suggest CEX.IO. Overpriced, and high fees. I wouldn't suggest the others, either, if you're just buying a few GH/s. But then again, I really don't recommend mining Bitcoin, anyway.
593  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ Newbies,JR,Full Welcome, Referral Bonus 10%! on: June 16, 2014, 11:17:09 AM
Well The rates aren't that competitive specifically for members since they are accepted in stunna's for a better rate. good for jr,newbies though since this would be the highest paying campaign accepting them (and accepting new participants).

This isn't the highest, surprisingly. I think Allcool's prices are near .00007 now, for Jr.'s. And 777 doesn't need to be the highest, actually, since there's not many people doing this.
594  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is This possible.. Ads to each btc address on: June 16, 2014, 10:50:15 AM
Yup, a lot of businesses used to do the Satoshi Ad thing. It was pretty unprofitable, though, people tended to ignore them. You could search it up, "Just received a random Satoshi" or "blockchain ads".
595  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know onwer of address??? on: June 16, 2014, 10:48:31 AM
Nope, not possible at all, unless it's linked to someone. I normally Google addresses, or use the Deep Net search engine if I want to see if it's linked.
596  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 1 Ghs CEX.IO cloud mining voucher on: June 16, 2014, 08:53:10 AM
Why are there 20% fees? People would be better off just buying from CEX.IO. There's really no reason for someone to give you fees.
597  Economy / Gambling / Re: P88 Ponzi - Get paid by the next person (0.0005 fees, clearly UNSAFE) on: June 16, 2014, 08:48:32 AM
So you didn't suicide in your previous thread and are back now here with full force posting pozi schemes.

Way to go dude! Grin

Yeah, lightlord helped me out and someone suggested me it's a good idea to run a game like this.

Lightlord? The guy who created the gambling bot for Coinchat? (That was a beast gambling game.)

Seems like two days and no takers AT ALL!  Wink

Well, you could invest a little, and build a semi-legit HYIP - like rockwell, or forexGHQ. Trick is to give an attractive enough daily interest, instant payments and instant principal withdrawal, and NOT run away with the money even if it's successful. You can do that if you charge a small fee for withdrawals - it also prevents hit'n'runners. In short, Like Terra Elegance but with smaller interest and some decency.

Good Luck!

I think there's a reason someone hasn't joined. It's really obvious, you know, the first words: Ponzi. People don't like taking unnecessary risks, even if it's not as dangerous as a Darwin award.
598  Other / Off-topic / Re: FIFA World Cup 2014!!! on: June 16, 2014, 08:44:03 AM
Did anybody get to see the Cote Vs. Japan match? I couldn't watch it, but noticed that it went 2-1. Does anyone have a idea on how Cote won?

Anyway, how do you guys think the Brasil Vs. Cameroon match will go? Going to obviously bet on Brasil then.

Backing Germany today. I have to back U.S, 'cause I'm a Murican, and voting on a foreign land would surely have me looked down upon. But Germany has been demolishing it! Nine wins so far, right, compared to Portugal's three. Number four guy from Portugal seems popular amongst fans, however. But then again, his/Ronaldo's injury screwed them over.
599  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sexual violence in UK gangs 'similar to war zones' according to BBC on: June 16, 2014, 08:33:59 AM
It wouldn't be shocking. In the U.S we have gangstas (I'm not limiting it to a specific ethnicity, nationality, race, gender, religion, or basically anything) or trashy people. The U.K has chavs, which are basically a bit better than the U.S' punks.

In the U.S, I think gang activity is a bit worse. Gun shots in neighborhoods, killing kids to get back at a rival gang, hit and runs, etc.

It wouldn't be hard to believe in the U.K things like this happen. They happen in the U.S too, just on a bit of a worse scale in some cases.
600  Bitcoin / Press / Re: India Enters Bitcoin Era on: June 16, 2014, 08:28:15 AM
Didn't some people from India already move into the Bitcoin Era? You know, with the local languages and stuff? Better not be any Pariahs! (Just joking. Think it's actually stupid, ya know.)
