582  Economy / Gambling / Re: What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘gambling’? on: October 30, 2015, 10:23:46 PM
Frankly, for me the gambling evokes the loss (more than win and become rich) but also there is the feeling when you are waiting the result.

585  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Any trusted faucet rotator with autosurf? on: October 30, 2015, 08:51:05 PM
There used to be a well popular site with autosurf, if i remember it right it had "dad" or "daddy" on its name, but i don't think it's online anymore.  Sad

You mean like auto-captcha-solving? I don't think there is such a rotator. With DAD I remenber only click2dad.net , but that was a PTC and has turned into scam after a while.

Yea, click2dad.net, that must be the site... But i mean, not solving captchas, just viewing lots of sites and earning coins by each one you pass by. Thats how click2dad worked, the auto-surfer opened another tab and started to load bitcoin related sites one after the other with a interval of a few seconds between each one. I didn't know it was a scam because i never reached the minimum limit to withdraw.

Yea, it is. that truly was a c2d. Quite easy earnings ... working for while. There is no way to keep auto-surfs alive, they all turn scam later. Unless they use some captcha like bitsforclicks etc.
Maybe you can try earnhoney ... its similar but auto-surf-tubes (full of adds so they have earnings) .. but paying USD to paypal & only for US,UK...

thanks,

Very same here. It's a bit sad because I have been promoting your faucets a lot.

589  Other / Meta / Re: How is forum activity calculated? on: April 21, 2015, 07:55:40 PM
this could help

Apparently , the activity changes every 1210000 units of the UNIX timestamp.

This equates to 14 days , 6 minutes , 40 seconds.

This means , after 3026 2 week periods , you would expect to gain 42364 activity.

But no , you would get only 42350 activity.

TLDR; Every 116 years you will lose out on 14 activity. Sad right ?

In order to make this thread more productive, here are some of the next timings :-

( All times in GMT )

12/9/2014 10:13:20
12/23/2014 10:20:00
1/6/2015 10:26:40
1/20/2015 10:33:20
2/3/2015 10:40:00

Here is a list of all the ACCURATE start dates of the 14 day periods till 2060 !

FAQs of the Activity system
(All of these can be found stickied in the Meta , but just in case)

Q : How is activity calculated ?

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Q : Help ! My activity (or rank) has not activated yet , even though I have sufficient posts and have posted in sufficient time periods !

Try http://battlecoin.org/#3t  where you can play bomberman against other users and win some BTC.

Wait, I've just registered to this site. And my balance is 5BTC, what is that mean with 5BTCHuh Is it true?
I know, the site is still Alpha and we can't even deposit to our balance.

Yes, that's true, but I believe those 5 BTC you can't withdraw.

593  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Brand new BTC FAUCET - win 200 to 12 000 satoshi (4 hours) on: February 25, 2015, 07:26:50 PM
Op you may want to remove some faucets from "TOP CLASS BTC FAUCETS" menu on your site. Some of faucets included there are no longer paying, and their creators run away with money.

Btc-flow removed, thanks for info.

Do these faucets just make ad money?  ...

That's correct

594  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Brand new BTC FAUCET - win 200 to 12 000 satoshi (4 hours) on: February 23, 2015, 05:33:14 PM
12000 satoshi for only (<0.01%) you are not that luck anyways , there is no money in facutes a signaaature compaign pay more for even a newbie rank account

Agree, but faucet rewards are linked to efforts you put in. The only skill you need is to be able solving captcha. Signature campaign has few requirements (make useful post, 20 posts in week etc.)

595  Economy / Service Announcements / BTC FAUCET - bitlist.website - win 200 to 12 000 satoshi (4 hours) on: February 22, 2015, 09:08:07 PM
Hi, Introducing new bitcoin faucet go check http://faucet.bitlist.website/

Payouts via FAUCETBOX, Min. 200 / max. 12 000 satoshi

It's brand new, so first comers can profit from refs. (30%) ...  just spread the word  Wink

Enjoy

596  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: A reliable faucet list for newbies with an average profit >500 satoshi/claim on: February 19, 2015, 06:04:58 PM
Thanks for the list!
Though taking a look at it, even with the best payed one it's preferable to just work at McDonalds and buy bitcoin with the salary...

Sure, but you have to go there, at exact time, meet with asshole boss, be polite to customers, cant smoke, drink alc. .... it's a work.
Do not consider faucets as work. You can surf whenever you want, comfortable from home or pub while drinking with friends, at work... can be done by 8 to 80yr old  ... that's what counts.

I'm not denouncing faucets as they do great part in spreading bitcoin around ... bringing more newcomers.

597  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which BTC wallet are you using on: February 06, 2015, 06:35:36 PM
Just a question  Wink

Which BTC wallet  you are using?
coinbase , blockchain, btc-e, bittrex or any one else?

Im using local wallets: armory, electrum, multibit and web wallet at blockchain.info

598  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinbase Legal Name on: February 05, 2015, 06:49:05 AM
Why do you want to use a fake name?

I understand this attitude. I don't like using real name as well, simply don't want to have connection between my name and any amount of BTC. Same with phone number.

to OP: try localbitcoins
599  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Jumping into Bitcoin with a thump. on: February 05, 2015, 06:01:22 AM
So I've recently gotten into BTCitcoins and was wondering how to get my feet wet in this wonderful cryptocurrency.
It seems like registering here would of been a good way to start. My series of questions include:

Hi, welcome aboard. Very good start by by registering here.

To your questions
  • Are faucets worth using to start off? - Don't think so, can took you few days to collect coins for one transaction
  • What would be the best ways to earn any crypto without purchasing? - Signature campaign, sell stuff/skill
  • Is BTCitcoin "just a fad that will die soon"? - Don't think so, BTC has many advantages you'll see once you fall in
  • How come the price of BTCitcoin fluctuates so much? - Supply/Demand
