That's ok, there nothing garlic and bleach can't cure.
Wrong, commie! Clearly the monolith is in broad daylight which casts its UV rays upon the virus thus eradicating its very nature and we will activate our vitamin D which needs to be raised to 40000 IU per day to cancel out the effects of the globally constructed fake virus
582  Other / Meta / Re: Do you want more or less freedom? on: November 25, 2020, 07:39:08 PM
The pedantry of the term "freedom" aside, some users choose to compromise their identity to align with the forum's interests, unaware that contributions to a greater unified entity require the restrictions of the individual which thereby impact the connections required to impart the very structure they develop.
583  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: November 25, 2020, 05:06:48 AM
I'm trying to figure out what the original translation is, though it's hard to tell.

Bernard Baruch: "Nobody ever lost money taking a profit."
Fell for my trap: I have uncovered yet another suchmoon alt! The gang groweth.
584  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: November 25, 2020, 04:27:03 AM
There is a famous quote in the financial market that " There is no any investors are loss when they take profit". So, Take profit at anytime, any price and protect capital always be a wise decision.

Everyone is very familiar with that quote. Smiley

I'm trying to figure out what the original translation is, though it's hard to tell.

Every time you make a decision, you commit genocide and kill off all those other possible timelines of lives you could have lived. How dare you?
586  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloubet forced verification stuck for more than 10 days on: November 24, 2020, 11:00:47 PM
Relevant portions of their ToS:

Quote
7.5.8 Your winnings from settled bets are credited to your account and may be withdrawn in accordance with our withdrawal policy and if required by us, upon provision of the below materials to our satisfaction:

a copy of valid photographic identification (passport, driver's license)
proof of address (recent utility bill)
credit/debit card to our satisfaction
photo of yourself containing proof of date and identification materials

...

10.3. Cloudbet reserves the right to close your account and refund the balance of your account without further explanation. Subject to any provision of these Terms and Conditions to the contrary, outstanding bets will ordinarily be honoured. Further, we retain the right to suspend the whole or any part of the service for any reason at our sole discretion and in such event we may but shall not be obliged to give you any notice, however, we shall endeavour to provide you with such notice as we deem practicable

10.4 Cloudbet retains the right to suspend the whole or any part of the service for any reason at our sole discretion and in such event we may but shall not be obliged to give you any notice, however, we shall endeavour to provide you with such notice as we deem practicable. Further, Cloudbet reserves the right to close your account and confiscate the remaining balance of your account without further explanation if you have circumvented our terms and conditions by betting from a prohibited jurisdiction.

At least there's no deposit turnover like with some other sites. Unfortunately, any time you deposit to a casino you subject yourself to the risk of verification limbo.
587  Other / Meta / Re: Stop deleting something you don't like on: November 24, 2020, 10:30:58 PM
That's awesome mate, you just proof how the "Moderators" are breaking the rules and don't give a fuck about what the forum admin allow and not. My thread do not violate a single rule
And with that sentence you demonstrate your lack of understanding of the rules. In particular, two moderators have already replied on this thread. In addition, I would advise you to look at the line that reads, "23. When deciding if a user has broken the rules, the staff have the right to follow their interpretation of the rules."

What does "acceptable to enable people to fraudulently use documents".
Suppose I need to verify my identity, and I use someone else's documents. Let me throw the whole thing about 'not using other people's KYC information' out first to be generous and let's suppose that it's okay as long as you get the express permission of the owner. Do you host your own mini-KYC to make sure that the one selling you the documents for person A is actually person A? If not, how can you know that the documents were obtained legitimately?

Answer: willful ignorance and plausible deniability which will serve as your excuse.
588  Other / Meta / Re: Stop deleting something you don't like on: November 24, 2020, 10:07:33 PM
For trying to argue about something you don't know (the other things above), I suggest you to open your eyes for not so "rational" people.
"I'm not selling anything illegal! The reason that these people are doing something so irrational is because they are irrational! Obviously!"

How many crazies are you in contact with, all of which are willing to sell their documents? And... do you honestly think it is acceptable to enable people to fraudulently use documents?
589  Other / Meta / Re: Stop deleting something you don't like on: November 24, 2020, 02:05:40 AM
Do not tell me about crimes, this is not court this is forum Cheesy
How the fuck are you connecting a crime and a account created without illegal activity you brain dead murican?
That's funny: because this is a forum, the moderators don't exactly have to answer to anyone for their discretion. They sometimes tell you why your posts are deleted, as has been done here, but unfortunately you're unable to accept that.

Your "free will" scenario of others selling their accounts is interesting but is irrelevant unless you are able to prove the transfer of ownership from the exact KYC-verified individual. I don't think you have the evidence of this, though you can feel free to prove me wrong. This is beyond any other details that would make it undesirable to sell one's account (e.g. ToS breaching)
590  Other / Meta / Re: Should mods proactively nuke accounts? on: November 21, 2020, 06:07:37 AM
A nice mass nuking would be good. But no, we all get to click "report to moderator" and waste everyone's time instead of being proactive.
If I were an account farmer and I wanted a long-term strategy to further my industry after your implementation of preemptive nuking, I would employ mprep's strategy more deviously:

Rather than simply create a bot farm that picks usernames from already existing usernames, you schedule the process to continuously create new accounts to new registrants - each new username that is created, you can make a dozen accounts as a smokescreen. At this point, any move the moderators make is a mistake. If the accounts are ignored and allowed to spam, then we have created a workaround to bypass the preemptive nukes. If the accounts are nuked completely, then you run the risk of collateral damage.
591  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Stake.com Signature Campaign | Legendary Only | 25 Slot on: November 21, 2020, 05:48:04 AM
How many max post you will pay? Because there's no max post you stated on the payrates, you only said after 25 post you will pay $0.5/post.

However, this could make people spamming to get maximum payout. I'd suggest to make limitation on each week.
If you read the post in full, you could see that there was a cap of $100.

"The payment limit is $ 100/week per member of this campaign"

The math ends up with a maximum post count of 138 being paid. (if none of the posts are given the extra 20%)
I don't like the possibility of this ending up in a spam war.
592  Other / Meta / Re: We are the most popular smf forum on: November 18, 2020, 10:59:22 PM
Glad to see that our volume of shitposts can even exceed the aggregate posting of an adult role-playing forum. If we're able to outdo that kind of sweaty traffic just imagine how many brilliant posts are created every single day.

Exclusionary?

Provisionary?

Too many options. Someone could definitely figure it out at this point given all the possibilities and matching to a context, but anyone willing to do that is probably busy posting in the altcoin section for peanuts Smiley
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Reaches 85% of Binance.US Volume on: November 17, 2020, 10:08:59 AM
It is even not clear, if paypal really buys bitcoin.
Technically, it could all be done through the sale and buying of bitcoin "vouchers" which rise and fall in price with the price but have no legitimate impact on the currency itself.
This could be one possibility. Could. But to this day it is not clear whether they really buy and sell physical bitcoin or whether it is just a derivative.
My point is that with the current situation, PayPal isn't selling Bitcoin to users if they are restricted to the platform. When the asset they call "Bitcoin" can be renamed to anything and still function in exactly the same way, they're not really selling Bitcoin: they're selling something that moves with the price of Bitcoin on PayPal and trades accordingly on their system, but is absolutely unrelated to the coin itself.

All that is changed when you finally get access to the keys... and move it off their platform. Smiley
595  Other / Meta / Re: Red and Yellow Warning on threads on: November 17, 2020, 06:30:54 AM
Type 1 flag becomes active if the number of DT members supporting it is more than those opposing the flag
Type 2 and 3 flags become active if there are more than 3 DT members supporting as compared to those opposing the flags
It's important to note that although these flags are typically created and supported by DT members, it is still vital to do the same as an ordinary member because the function of DefaultTrust is (obviously) to act as a default trust list and not a static or permanent solution for each individual member. Flags should act as a reminder to update your trust list and to continue to use the trust system on an individual basis, not necessarily as a collective which is open to security exploitation.
596  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning bitcasino.io is scam. on: November 17, 2020, 06:05:20 AM
That's right don't hide the evidence better prove it here that you never committed a violation during a withdrawal, I'm sure everyone will know and the team will respond to this in the forum.
The onus should be on the casino rather than the player to show wrongdoing in this case for appeal. Even if they were not able to provide the specific details of their withdrawals to the degree they stated in their post, what kind of regular player would record their deposits and withdrawals to the point where you prove that "you never committed a violation"? The only reason to do so would be a distrust in the casino, which seems foolish if they were playing there - is it possible that this user is just a regular gambler?

Almost a proxy currency that they are peddling.
598  Other / Meta / Re: Auto Delete on: November 16, 2020, 03:48:54 PM
the trouble with automating it is that people could also automate the deleting and reposting process which could be taken advantage of so maybe it's better to just manually do it.
In this case, though, they save one action which does not cause any post delays (replies and PMs, not deletions) wherein the automation would just as easily delete and reply on 24-hour intervals, or simply use alternate accounts to bump their threads for whatever reason.

I don't think the refutation is explicitly that of an anti-exploitation avenue.
599  Other / Meta / Re: Auto Delete on: November 16, 2020, 03:44:46 PM
Seems like (at this stage) an unfavorable exchange of allocated development resources for improved efficacy of a feature that will be seldom used by the fraction of forum users that will be aware of it.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
With some more use cases, there may be an argument for this. Your situation, though, is probably not a common one.
600  Other / Meta / Re: Why don't you add an Staking Board? on: November 16, 2020, 02:33:14 PM
Also, due to the bounty section there's plenty of options for people to post their addresses there. If they're deleted or modified admins can see that anyway but people should be sure to stake a bitcoin message or their PGP key somewhere.
Perhaps you are mistaken about the semantic context, especially given this reply:

Hmm... Well we all know this forum is only for bitcoin but when there's boards for Altcoin like (discussion, ann, mining) etc. why not staking..
