581  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do? on: July 13, 2016, 03:15:34 PM
it will be a rare occasion when bitcoin really reaches $ 1m, so I'll sell all my bitcoin, and wait for fall to buy again.
because I believe when the price reaches $1m, it will not last long.

Exactly, we cannot expect stable price at $1m, so that would be the perfect time to sell all bitcoins and grabbed the huge profits as we may never see that price again.
582  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: July 08, 2016, 12:45:44 PM
Well man are you still holding coins? If yes then congrats man  Grin I think you need to hold it longer just wait for a price rise after or on halving I think a price rise will happen im not sure about the price though. Even if it's price is unsure it will be sure to happen

Halving is very few hours far now and price is at $640 at a moment may be it can touch $700 in next couple of hours so holding at a moment is the right thing to do.
583  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are down again? on: July 08, 2016, 12:40:58 PM
We are down, but soon the change happens because price is very low though we are close to the days of halving. Possibly a big variation can be experienced in a short term as only two days are left for halving.

I am not sure what kind of change you are talking about but at this moment there is not much to be expected anymore. At best the price will settle here instead of dumping like we saw yesterday.
we are facing Bitcoin price drop,  bitcoin users sell bitcoin in numbers, pulling the price down, but no worries we can make good profits within a little term after halving.
Well I do hope it won't fail us all waiting and holding our bitcoin. I also hope that it rises and meets our expectation for it to rise at 800+$. Well if that didn't happen I think it would be bad.

If you are expecting $800 price from halving then it will not happen, as we are below $650 now and I don't think it will jump $150 in next few hours.
584  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: July 08, 2016, 12:36:53 PM
You should not sell everything at once because there is always a chance that the price is going rise after that.
So then you have missed out on some more money which is bad and you will regret that.

Yeah selling everything is not an good idea as price may go higher in future, so if you are holding some coins then you have an opportunity to sell your coins at that time and earn higher profits.

The bitcoin price is in the consolidation status after the big rise recently. After a few moths consolidation, the price will rise.

Halving will not show us higher price as per our expectations but price will rise after few months of halving and we can expect 4 digit price at the end of the year.

I am hoping for that event that bitcoins price is going to rise up to four digits. And by that time for sure I'm going to sell out my bitcoins already.
And going to exchange it fast to fiat and instead of selling everything.
I'm going to buy everything that I want.

I think you need to wait longer to see the 4 digit price as I don't think its happening at halving may be price can go maximum to $750 at halving not more than that.
585  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 08, 2016, 12:24:23 PM
i continuously use my btc paying my expenses like electric and phone bills, the earning i'm getting from my campaign and some some my trading automatically been paid my bills.

Spending bitcoin is a real fun to me, as I spend it on skype recharge and mobile top up, and if I am in need of money then I sell my coins and convert  it to my local currency.

I would say that you should limit your active spending today as the halving is going to take effect after tomorrow.
For sure there is going to have changes once it happen.
And after getting some profits out of the price increase then you can go back in active spending.

Yeah its better to continue with active spending once the halving is done, there is no indication that price will go higher at halving, but now we are so near to it so can afford to wait for next few hours.
586  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to tell your Girlfirend about BitcoiN?? on: July 08, 2016, 12:22:13 PM
very easy for me to tell my girlfriend about bitcoin, he already knew my work and he always saw what I was doing.
so I think if you really already very close to your girlfriend it will be easier to tell.

Is you girlfriend a male? lol..just kidding, as you used the word 'he' instead of 'she', and that's great if she knows how your are earning it so you can guide her too in easiest way.
587  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: July 08, 2016, 12:20:01 PM
Investing 1 bitcoin for a long term is not good but if you invest 1 bitcoin in short term i think that pretty good to have profit. If you prefer to invest for a longtime you will need to invest 5 -10 bitcoin to give you more profit at the time you will set in your investments.
10 BTC is acceptable but not quite enough, I believe 100 BTC could give us a comfortable life in the future if our investment will survive and will give us profit.

I will just buy one bitcoin to test the water. The price is too volatile. I will just hold the coins and wait for the price rise.
That's right don't put a lot of money in bitoin if you don't know how the market works and if you just want to test or take some risk then 1 bitcoin is enough for you to have a good long term investment because i'm sure that next year or 2 years after you will earn a good profit even you only have 1 bitcoin Grin.

Hmm...

Don't know where you're from. Maybe you're from somewhere poor. But 1 btc is really a loooooooooooooooow amount for Western countries.
I mean, having 1 btc won't change your life in any way!

In some countries 1 BTC is more then a month income, so yes getting 2/3 months salary is a big change for them, since the prices of consumption are very low.
For us western it's at most half of the rent.

Yes and if the cost of living is low then 1 btc can also take best care of an individual but if he have and responsibility of a family then 1 btc won't be sufficient.

1 bitcoin is not really sufficient if you have a family and for a long term investment that is really not enough at all.
But if you are going to hold it that's better but not really going to give you good profit if only 1 bitcoin.

Yes and I think 1 btc can be helpful if you need money in case of emergencies as you can sell it any time you want but expecting too good life from 1 btc is not possible.

But the title ask if 1 bitcoin is good for long term investment. It doesn't ask if 1 bitcoin is good in case of emergency.
For sure it is going to be good in case of emergency but for a long term investment I'm 50/50 on it.
Not sure if it is really good or not.

It will depend on what price bitcoin holds in future, if the price in millions then even 1 btc is enough for luxury life, but that is unlikely to happen so its better as many as possible.
588  Other / Off-topic / Re: When and why did you start using Bitcoin? on: July 08, 2016, 12:17:20 PM
I was introduced into bitcoin about one year ago, one of my friend told me how to make extra money from internet, so after a few explanation i started to try to earn bitcoin, i started from faucet to faucet and giveaway and i was introduced to this forum, i earned my income steadily after i join signature campaign in this forum
I started to purchase things online using bitcoin and pay my bill using bitcoin, that is the reason i used bitcoin

Even my friend  recommended me to use bitcoin and showed me how he was earning from signature campaign and trading, I found trading difficult as bitcoin was totally new concept for me so I decided to start with joining signature campaign.
589  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: July 08, 2016, 12:06:06 PM
I would like to have enough bitcoin bitcoin to retire. For this the price need to have some 'improvements' which i feel will come in the period to come.

Me either after 20 years I'm going to use bitcoin to support my family for my retirement.
I'm going to use it just like a pension after collecting a lot of it.

If we think of next 20 years then this is the right time to collect as much as possible, as we start getting older we won't be able to spend enough time on work as we can do it right now and it will become difficult to earn bitcoin as time passe.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please teach me how to grow my bitcoin on: July 08, 2016, 12:02:45 PM
You can try some online jobs that pay in Bitcoin. Look for the Jobs4bitcoins reddit
Agree with you if they try online job that pay in bitcoin and hard work for him and there is many way to grow his bitcoin if they join the signature campaign and write post for it  by high rank bitcointalk account in this forum then i think they can grow his bitcoin like other member .

If you hold variety of skills then you  can grow your coins very quickly, but if you are depending only on signature campaign then it will really take long time.
591  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: July 08, 2016, 12:00:20 PM
This time bitcoin had many ways to use so yes I spend it some times with my need, like buying in online stores who accept bitcoin as payment top up my phone and of course paying some of bills trough btc 😂😂😂 and well I'm happy with atleast I can use it any time I need it.
Yes topping up my phone is not something i have yet done using bitcoin,  what service do you use to do this and is it available world wide?
You can try bitrefill.com for mobile top ups as it is the best and trusted site and it is operating in 143 countries so I am sure you can make best use of it.
592  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: July 06, 2016, 01:43:18 PM
I bought some bitcoin 12 months ago. I hold majority since then. I spent a few to buy some computer components.
maybe you could wait a while longer until you sell bitcoin that you hold. when the price has reached the price of $ 800 + maybe it is the right time to sell bitcoin that you have, I too was waiting for the price

Its not easy to achieve the price of $800 now, as its below $700 now and we wont be able to see that price at halving, so I think you need to wait for next 3 to 4 months to see the price of $800.
593  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC going up for 500$ again ? ::) on: July 06, 2016, 01:40:18 PM
Sadly i can said we will not touch $500 until end of year maybe after new year in the middle of january, price will rise slowly but sure.

Well you can't say that maybe this weekend bitcoin will reach 500 dollars.
We never know when it will go down or up with bitcoin so we only need to wait what it will happen.
Bitcoins up to 500 again? i dont think this ropic is really nedded into this forum because we already hit up the 700 eachso why do you think we are allready up to 500 i doont understand you.

That is right. The title should be changed to BTC going up for $800 again. The price has been to $700 already.

The $700 price tag is just $50 from the current bitcoin price. I think it will reach that in no time, but it might drop back again.

I see the price go down at the moment. It's more likely then a pump. But it's possible the whales got other plans.
Then we will see something unexpected happening.

Don't expect higher price from halving now as price will not go high significantly as price has stuck at a single point since long time, either wait or sell your coins at current price.
594  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 06, 2016, 01:36:32 PM
I don't spend it but I sell it on regular basis as I think bitcoin should be used every now and then, and only holding will not help bitcoin to reach higher price in future.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: July 06, 2016, 01:24:34 PM
i think paper money will stay always and paper money are using in large number in everywhere and i also like paper money than coins .
i doubt that paper money will always stay around, in my opinion the price of the bitcoin is going to grow and i think that people will switch from paper money to bitcoins
are people ready for this transition though im not too sure.... Most people still dont know about bitcoin
We are not ready, nobody is ready maybe except some people who know bitcoin very very well.
If BTC can become a future of paper money,it will happen in i dont know 30 years? i dont really believe people will want to get rid of paper money,it is an old idea, old idea's usually hold strong in people's mind.

Paper money will always exist as bitcoin is not yet that powerful that it can replace strong currency like paper money as it holds more trust and more users in compare to bitcoin.
596  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: July 06, 2016, 01:19:37 PM
I rarely buy bitcoin, because i always earn it on my services and from signature campaign, and some also from gambling, i am a gambler though.
well yeah i think that you are right that you should buy bitcoins rarely, i buy it only on rare occasions too and i think that the price of the bitcoin is going to grow and i have it as an investment

Its well and good if you are collecting bitcoins only by earning so any price is good price for you to sell as you have not invested your money in buying, so any price is a profit for you.
597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: July 06, 2016, 01:17:10 PM
Time to Buy  Cool  Roll Eyes

It will never be that cheap again Wink Only 3 Day until the Halving is there.

Check out BTC Price tracker also

Yes good time to buy, even if you exclude the halving even and think of future then its really good price to buy, as it is predicted that price will hit $1k at the end of the year.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is big problem in using of bitcoin on: July 06, 2016, 12:41:22 PM
For me its just the bitcoin transaction confirmation is the only problem in bitcoin as far as i discover now
I think if you were a man whose patient, the problem was not too big, but I see most users are not the patient type.
so it seems this problem should be quickly solved
i doubt that it is a huge problem to be honest and i think that the confirmations are actually a good thing because it allows the transactions not to be faked, though thats just my opinion

the important thing is the transaction itself which should reach you immediately and without any hesitation and many businesses are ok with it too. and the confirmation is fast most of the time if you include enough fees with it.

Yes if you include enough fees then I don't think there will be delay in confirmation time, and that is not a major problem for me, as overall I am very much satisfied with the features of bitcoin.
599  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: July 06, 2016, 12:20:17 PM
i use it to topup my mobile phone, buy steam wallet codes, use it to pay my internet bill and many more
thats really cool in my opinion, i also buy some steam wallet codes because thats really easy to be honest, i also hold all my bitcoins and i think that it will make money out of investment

Spending bitcoin is always good but at a moment holding is an better option as price may go higher at halving, so its better not to spend our  coins for next couple of days.
600  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: July 05, 2016, 01:15:09 PM
It's definitely still buy time.
Don't loose the chance.
i think you might be right about it, in my opinion the price is going to grow a lot in the near future because of a block reward halving that will soon occur, i hope that will make me some decent profit

Don't expect too much from halving, as price is getting stable now, and I don't we will see major price rise at halving, but we can expect higher price at the end of the year, so if you can wait till that time then you should buy some coins now.
