OoC,

with BFL and it's assets in receivership, I'd warn miners about mining at EMC.
62  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: 50BTC.com: Payments are not processed? on: September 15, 2014, 01:52:05 AM
FFS, can't you people read?

Stop mining here.  This pool has stolen funds from miners and continues to do so.  You mine here at your own risk.
Stop coming here to complain that you lost money mining at 50BTC.

I'm not sure where you're seeing these messages. There hasn't been any GPU code in mainline cgminer for over a year and I'm not supporting anything but the current version.

Thanks @ckolivas.

This is the output of cgminer.

I use it to mine on testnet. There are 4 radeon 79xx gpu cards, and according to cgminer stats it does ~2.5gh/s - I was hoping to mine something, especially that current testnet difficulty == 1.0, but it doesn't work, hence I posted this warning(?) messages.

Which version?  Wink

I must be over looking this simple feature, but where do I delete old workers?  I had to move some rigs and like to name them based on locations...Help!

I contacted ghash support and requested this feature and was told to make a request on their forum and if others wanted the feature they'd implent it. A feature request has been posted on their forum here: https://support.cex.io/hc/communities/public/questions/200783977-Hide-unused-worker-button

Other Ghash users have replied to this thread that they would also like the feature.  No response from ghash since.

Voice your support for this basic pool feature here:

65  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 5 AntMiner S2s for Sale $1200 (OBO) on: August 12, 2014, 09:23:48 PM
Just eBay them, they're going for about $1650ea there.  Grin

haha, got it up for $1200 on ebay... I don't htink they are selling for 1600 tho:P

One of them sold 2 days ago for $1695 plus 60 shipping:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bitmain-Antminer-S2-1-TH-1000-GH-Asic-Bitcoin-Miner-SHA256-In-hand-Ships-Fast-/251611369142?pt=US_Virtual_Currency&hash=item3a9534ceb6

I sell my used mining farm equipment all the time on ebay, I usually get top dollar too.

Yeah, wait for the paypal case and the chargeback.

Bottom line you will be out 1600$.

Not wishing you this but 90% chances of happening.

In your listing setup just select that there are no returns for your goods.

This means nothing.  If the seller returns the items to you on his own, even if you attempt to refuse the shipment, paypal will refund his money and seek funds from you.
Speaking from experience.

Wow 10 blocks on the run - that could be a record. I get the feeling bitpop, your efforts to 'pursuade' the community to steer away from ghash are falling largely on deaf (stupid) ears. Ghash need to do something to reduce their pool size. I suspect greed is too much of a motivating factor alas...

Just for the sake of fairness, I'll remind you that BTC Guild managed an 11-block streak with only ~25% of the network earlier this year.  With that said, carry-on with the ghash.io bashing.

ZOMG!!!!!!1111one

Die all btc guild users!!!!!1111one

Does ghash charge .001 BTC fee for daily automatic withdraws?  I know it does for one -time manual withdraws.  Thanks!

Do they even do "automatic" withdrawals?

why I can not withdraw coins from pool?

Seriously? Have you read absolutely nothing posted in this thread?  I can't believe you are that naive.

Roll Eyes  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=39497.0 - some people need to read up on stuff.

here's the advice; you like a pool, mine on it, you don't like a pool, don't.
If you have a scam accusation, there is a whole forum section devoted to it.

Don't bother feeding the troll, raskul. Plenty of people have attempted to explain DGM to HippieTech before. He doesn't understand and rather than leaving it at that, he then assumes that because he doesn't understand DGM it must be a scam.

I wonder if he thinks the moon landing photographs were faked?

sup organofcorti ! Grin

Explain all you want. The free market has made it clear that DGM is a "let big bro hold your little hand" pipe dream.

I'll ask again. Show me/ us proof (eg. raw hard data) that DGM, or at least Ozcoin's version, is fair to the miner. Hint : Its called the scientific method. Tongue

I did. You didn't accept it.

OoC, maffs is hard.
That is all.

Anyone still mining at 50btc should change immediately and permanently to another pool
P2Pool is nice, you get more than 100% because you earn block tx fees aswell, the bad part is the unforgiving variance due to low hashrate

Any pool is better than this pool.

Also, please don't forget to retitle your post as follows:

80  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: May 23, 2014, 01:43:36 AM
Please Help.

I have a solo mining network set up at home. BFG, SG, and Cminier, all connect up fine with there various devices across the network and start hashing. When I connect my Ant s1, the s1's "getworks" total goes through the roof. I am new to mining and s1's but not to networking and the request rate to me is out of hand...The s1 net throughput is crazy also because of all the work requests, about 10mb a min.

Is this normal when solo mining? Here is a pic of the s1's stats"

Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance for your time.

you need to use stratum..
