61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: KuCoin. Problems with the exchange on: February 26, 2018, 12:17:29 AM
Kucoin stock exchange is a very successful and fast stock exchange, the team is very good quality.

It's a cryptocurrency exchange not a stock exchange. You know you're trading cryptocurrencies and not parts of companies right? You're not just signature spamming what google translates for you right? It's not a stock exchange. Omg.
The Kucoin support team used to very helpful but now they are getting very popular, they gained a lot more users in the past few weeks, this probably explain why they take a lot of time to respond to your ticket. Maybe you should go to their telegram and ask the admin like what Cryptoisreal suggested. I think a lot of good exchange become really bad and slow when they got famous, this happenned to poloniex and bittrex. I think it's going to happen with Binance and Kucoin next.

I hope not. I hope the support of kucoin is keeping their standard.
Try to go to telegram because its the best way you can do to get faster respon from them. So i hope you got your etherium.

He tried their love chat and it didn't work, so why would their telegram? If it's easier to get them on telegram than their own lives chat then that's pretty crappy service.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: February 26, 2018, 12:13:44 AM
The media generally is always positive. Negativity causes more clicks and more views. Also people working in the media might regret not having bought BTC earlier and just hate on BTC itself.

or.... there's some real conspiracies going on, who knows though, I'd be agnostic about it.

"The media" is generally negative.  Not sure where you came up with that, saying that they're generally positive. Positive stories don't make it to the top, the negative ones do.

It's easy to make negative articles about bitcoin, because the public knows even less about it than the moron writing the article or talking into a camera. It's fine because people can see through the bullshit, unless they just really don't care. At some point when cryptocurrency completely takes over they'll have to care though, but they won't have the gains that we do. Too bad.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need help (bitcoin) on: February 26, 2018, 12:11:27 AM
What do youean by your "bitcoin ID". Do you have the private key but lost the passphrase? If you just lost the private key, they're gone. If it's the passphrase then you may be able to recover it but that's only if it's not a massive amount of characters and you have a general idea of what it may be.

Good luck! I'd clarify on what I asked then you may be able to have someone help you assuming you have the private key.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: KuCoin. Problems with the exchange on: February 26, 2018, 12:09:19 AM
well ETH is a cryptocurrency so there's a very obvious solution. Post the TXID. If it's there, they fucked up. If it's not, you fucked up. It's as simple as that. So either fix it on your end or contact support with the TXID and tell them to fix it asap. That's the great  about cryptocurrency. There are two outcomes.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [AIRDROP] MASTERNODE SHARE TOKEN, REVENUE FROM MASTERNODE on: February 26, 2018, 12:07:14 AM
So TL;DR, we lend you money, that money is invested in master nodes then you pay us back what's earned in the proportion that we've invested? It's like cloud mining but for masternodes. I hope this doesn't explode in people's faces, but I lam assuming it will.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to support bitcoin on: February 26, 2018, 12:04:27 AM
I'll believe it when I see it. This sounds a lot like Kodak, and that's not going to pan out past the idea phase. So let's wait and see, but I doubt this will take off. We do need some major competition though. The mining in China has taken over everything and it's not good for the ecosystem.

Why did it take them almost a decade ffs!? Too little too late.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin had a drop recently, that means is a good time to buy some? on: February 26, 2018, 12:02:15 AM
well you missed the best time to buy, but now is pretty decent. The volatility slowed down so that's a good sign. The next thing to happen is for the price to start heading back on that upward trend. We went parabolic for a bit there but we'll get back on a closer-to-linear growth for this year, then more adoption will put us right back into the exponential growth.
68  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will go downwards again after current consolidation on: February 25, 2018, 11:48:56 PM
Mhm I don't buy it. People can make up whatever they like on all this technical analysis but they might as well be looking into a crystal ball or even a magic 8 ball. It's always been BS but in crypto it's even more obvious that no one can predict what will happen because there are so many people in so many different parts of the world that are affecting the price. The price will lie flat for a while (a relative term hahahaha. +/- 25%) then it'll head right back on trend. The upward trend. Because fiat is worthless by definition.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange to trade? Why? on: February 25, 2018, 11:41:22 PM
Honestly, binance is just super easy to use. Bittrex is being more of a pain in the ass lately and they're screwing people over that had older accounts. Poloniex has been pretty bad for a long time and support is nonexistent. All the smaller exchanges are struggling a ton, but that's probably because they're so small to begin within and don't have a lot of resources.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the best and most reliable ICOs to invest in March 2018? on: February 25, 2018, 04:22:24 AM
I invested in 3 ICOs and they're all doing either marginally better than Bitcoin or great. I would say that you need to do a ton of research and just make sure you know exactly what you're getting into. If the ICO has escrows of some sort and they're actually reputable escrows that would be a huge plus, but that's really rare anymore. I know it used to be more common for ICOs in the past. An escrow would dole out the coins and pay out the ICO earnings to the team at certain milestones. That's an ideal ICO to invest in if you can find it, also the idea has to be amazing of course. Make sure it solves a real problem, not something that the general public would never understand.
71  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-24]46% of Last Year’s ICOs Have Failed Already on: February 25, 2018, 04:17:26 AM
So I guess what I can take out of this is I'm a God damn genius when it comes to investing in ICOs. 46%!? Really?! That's insane! I have two that I did okay on, like +10-30% in bitcoin value depending on the day, and another that I'm either double to quadruple on. So idk what people invested in, but obviously not what I invested in if they lost any money.
72  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-24] Overstock CEO Puts ‘Millions Of Dollars’ Into Unknown Coin, Compare on: February 25, 2018, 04:05:10 AM
This has become the best publicity for RavenCoin by no less than its top funder and supporter. I am sure Patrick Byrne as a successful entrepreneur will never get into something without thinking many times over on such a project. There must really be something with RavenCoin to warrant his interest and trust. Will this be the next big thing in the altcoin world? Let's see.

Haha this is a complete farce. This guy is trying to pump and dump this coin and it is honestly so obvious. Who does he think he is? John McAfee? If he was really just interested in a certain coin and wasn't trying to pump it he would have just not even said what the coin was. This was completely to create hype over a coin that honestly promises something that 9/10 alts do. Asic resistance. Who cares anymore. A new type of Asic will come out if these get popular enough.
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: Debunking the waste of energy argument against Bitcoin on: February 25, 2018, 03:58:51 AM
4. No one is talking about the enormous costs of transporting fiat money, securing it and printing it in the first place

Omg this x1000. You would never be able to accurately figure out how much it would cost in fiat, to make fiat, because it's all denominated in the currency that you're creating. That just boggles my mind. How do people not realize that moving metal and paper across the country and creating it so sooooo expensive!?
74  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cashout problem on: February 25, 2018, 03:54:17 AM
I had never heard of it but after looking up I really don't understand how you found it and thought this was going to go well. It seems they'd either just struggling really hard to keep up or they'd going to go out of business any time soon. Good luck. Make sure to do your due diligence on the exchange you use just like you would with the coins you're buying.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the best and most reliable ICOs to invest in March 2018? on: February 25, 2018, 03:50:59 AM
No one has the right answer here so you're just basically asking what ICOs are out there and don't look like an obvious scam. No one knows which one will 100x. If we knew that we wouldn't tell you because we'd want a chance to buy more of it beforehand. Do your own research and make sure you don't invest more than you can afford to lose.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia SCAM on: February 25, 2018, 03:48:21 AM
In December and January I have seen a lot of exchanges struggle to keep up with the number of new users. Cryptopia is one of those who admitted they are struggling. It got so bad the wait time for tickets is 39 days.

Fortunately they are expanding and hiring new people. You can read it on their news page.

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/News

But they need to do something for now omg. Saying you're hiring is great, but what about right now? It might not be a popular opinion but maybe just desist all the shitcoins that no one trades anyway (except the occasional pump and dump) then save the bandwidth for coins that matter. It's so laggy it's ridiculous. I've actually spent over and hour trying to put an order through. Not an exaggeration.
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: Experts: Investing in Bitcoin now? on: February 24, 2018, 03:27:56 AM
Long term? Of course! It's the short term that nobody has a clue about, but long term we're going to see more and more adoption all the time. Cryptocurrency is the future and all of the banks know it. Either than or they've got their heads buried in the sand, which still works in our favour.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia SCAM on: February 24, 2018, 03:26:07 AM
Their website is slow as hell but I mean other than that everything seems fine to me so far. I haven't attempted a withdrawal in quite a while though. Maybe I'll test one out and see what happens. I've seen a few posts like this, but I mean people panic at the drop of a hat around here so who knows.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex SCAM !!! warning on: February 24, 2018, 02:33:10 AM
Lol 24 hours. Confirmed scam. Find their headquarters and burn the mother down!

What did they say in the support ticket? Lol. Did you even open one or did you come right to bitcointalk to open a throw away account without even trying to solve this?
