If your date and time aren't correct on your computer, it can do wonky things to your browsing.
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing Bit-pay Merchant Solutions on: July 03, 2011, 05:16:03 PM
Site is giving "This Connection is Untrusted" warnings in Firefox. May scare some away.

Hm never got that here.  wonder why.

607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For next few months Bitcoins' price will not rise, it will slowly decrease. on: July 02, 2011, 04:14:39 PM
This is the same person who supposedly has issues with bitcoin because they are a christian....
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You sold your BTC today for $15 but tomorrow your BTC will be selling for $50. on: July 02, 2011, 06:46:04 AM
Yeah we deffinatly need bussiness that are trustable, reailable and provide a constant service to stablize the worth of bitcoins. All these one dollar Candy, or alpacha socks wont cut it, That just backs up the bitcoins a couple of bucks.More Retailers!!!

Once the gambling industry gets in gear I'm sure there will be nothing to worry about.  I bet there are lots of gears turning behind the scenes.

611  Other / Politics & Society / Charlie Veich does 180 on 911 truth. on: July 02, 2011, 04:08:55 AM
I'll keep my personal views on the matter out of this (I have bitcoins to worry about these days, not 911), but find it quite weird that charlie has taken such a huge turn in his 911 beliefs.  I love his work with the love police.  Judging by the youtube comments he's lost alot of fans. lol.  Oh well. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion I guess.

Warning there are 2 huge loud noises right at the beginning so turn your volume down.

Not a bad high and low for the day.
613  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins have no non-monetary use-value, and why it doesn't matter. on: July 02, 2011, 02:53:11 AM
The native americans thought whitey was crazy cause he lusted after the yellow rock.  Maybe we are here to mine gold for some alien race and its engrained in our dna to lust for it.  I own some gold and it just sits in my cabinet.. pretty worthless to me.
614  Economy / Economics / Re: Had a conversation with my Democrat friend today. on: July 02, 2011, 02:22:42 AM
Yeah i'm not really hating on her or anything.  I was pretty oblivious to where money came from not too long ago.  Hopefully our little conversation got some wheels turning and she can start researching.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huge Television Ad for Bitcoin on All the Major Networks on: July 02, 2011, 02:14:31 AM
I hope your ad production skills are greater than your web video skills.

Come on now the last few shows, the sound was great.  Before that it was pretty horrible but what do you expect.  My local tv public tv station stil cant get it right after like 20 years. lol
616  Economy / Economics / Had a conversation with my Democrat friend today. on: July 02, 2011, 12:51:59 AM
I'd just like to say I guess I'd be a libertarian if I had to label myself and don't really buy into the left right paradigm of things.

Anyways I brought up the topic of bitcoins to her and she said she's heard of it but its not a viable currency because there is nothing backing it.

I asked her what was backing up the dollar and she said gold. lol.  She was amazed when I said.. um no its not.

This is someone who is hardcore into the democratic party in minnesota, her mom is in the congress there.

I just thought it was interesting how oblivious some people are about the money system, even the ones who are totally immersed in it.

That is all.

If you find yourself in need of plastic prototypes, I may be able to help. I have a Makerbot, an extruder-type 3d printer.

You have a 3d printer! awesome always wanted one.
