Son Heung-min is a quite dangerous player when playing with the right team and this season in 7 appearances with Tottenham he managed to score 5 goals plus he is also a very agile attacking player who doesn't give up easily.
If Real Madrid uses Son Heung-min as a plan B for the failure to recruit Mbappe maybe this could be a good option but it looks like Tottenham will ask for quite a large amount of money to price Son Heung-min.

Now Tottenham themselves are performing quite well and if you look at the line-up they already have players who can be said to be perfect and when Son Heung-min leaves I worried that it will affect Tottenham performance next season if they don't immediately look for a replacement for Son Heung-min in their squad.

Heung-min Son is a very talented player that can play across the three positions in the attacking line perfectly and his known for his relentless efforts to even track back to help his teammates not like the regular attacking players that we have this days. Son has been used by Tottenham as a center forward this season and it has so far been working, with Tottenham in second position with just a point behind Manchester City, this is Due to the help by Son’s 6 goal contribution so far.

With Mbappe looking like someone settling in PSG already which will make it hard for Madrid to just sign him, so a back up plan is the best thing. But I don’t go with the idea of Son, he isn’t a natural striker like Madrid wanted, his pattern of attacking or striking is what Madrid have in other players. With the crises in Napoli I would say victor Osimhen is the perfect person my reason Madrid already have very good wingers then a striker that sticks more to the box and also offers them aerial advantage will be the best option and Osihmen fits the role perfectly than Son who I think would be easily bullied when it comes to aerial battles

This is true and back up plans are good to have, but what is the probability that Mbappe does not go to Real Madrid? I can't believe that is a possibility. For the other attacking players Real Madrid has great players, but when you say that Son has a style or way of playing that Real Madrid has in other players, wouldn't say you say that Mbappe also prefers to play on the wing over playing as a center forward? I still agree that Mbappe is also better than Son and the better fit for the center forward position, but I like him the most when he plays the Vinicius Junior position.

Brighton is funny to see.
They can win or lose 4-0 any game  Grin.

You already know at the end of the season they will have 50ish points but at least it good time.

And funnily enough Aston Villa can do the same. They started their season with a 5-1 defeat against Newcastle United, which by the way got defeated 3-1 by Brighton! Cheesy It demonstrates the variance there is in the Premier League and it makes it more interesting to watch again. I like Manchester City, but seeing them losing a game is also good.

Arsenal and Tottenham are the only teams without a loss and Arsenal is facing Manchester City next week. But tomorrow we'll first see whether Chelsea makes it almost into the relegation zone if they lose against Fulham. I will never understand how that is possible with the money they spent on transfers. You could almost say that this in itself is an achievement.

I know Wolwerhampton is a team that usually loses points against strong teams in the Premier League, I guess no one would have expected them to beat the invincible Manchester City. It was interesting that Manchester City's only goal was from a set piece. They looked for so many positions to score a goal, but only Alverez had a freekick goal, by the way, the goal was magnificent.

Manchester City are still the leaders tonight, with eight shots on target, too many missed goals. After this defeat, Guardiola will go on a long match-winning streak.
If I was told Manchester City will play with the second team vs Wolverhampton, I will still say City will win or at worst get a draw! I didn't expect them to lose especially after they were kicked from EFL Cup these days..
Not only City lost their game but the second surprise was the defeat of Manchester United vs Crystal Palace. There is the 6 goals received by Brighton vs Aston Villa that were surprising.
Liverpool match vs Spurs were intense with 2 red cards from the Liverpool side and the late goal made Spurs collect 3 important points and move to the second place. If Liverpool won that game they would be first.

Usually Manchester United should win the game, but I don't think it was as much a surprise as the Manchester City game. United has lost 4 out of 7 games and they are not playing very well. There isn't enough pressure despite the fact that they have many good players. They score 1 goal per game.

Aston Villa was impressive, but they have already had a few games that I liked a lot. They are determined and what is interesting is how much they make out of their relatively low possession.

Liverpool must be disappointed I just saw some scenes from the game. I think there couldn't have been more bad coincidences for them. But the first red card was insanity by the Liverpool player. That leg could have been broken. Nacho from Real Madrid made a similar foul against Girona. What is wrong with these guys?
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 30, 2023, 07:24:06 PM
If we have to predict right now, I think we can actually say that Bayern Munich and Manchester City are probably the strongest to win the Champions League. But we all know that the Champions League is a very competitive competition. So almost anything can happen at any given time.

Bayern Munich might have add Harry Kane to their squad which should actually be ok to mount a challenge but definitely the team is struggling to win games convincingly. Their match against Manchester United was a win but to be they weren’t at their best at all, they could have easily won the match with the kind of football Manchester United are currently playing but they ended up with just a single goal margin and a against a better team they would have lost.

Manchester City would be my choice but even them aren’t the club that won it last season. They won the league last season because of the squad they have but right now the squad doesn’t have such depth again. So i wouldn’t be so confident on them too. My favorite to win will definitely be when the competition gets to knockout stages this way I can access the team and see which has settle down well

This is what I would say as well about Manchester City as this loss today has shown and Leipzig will be highly motivated to beat them. If the Wolverhampton Wanderers can do it, Leipzig can definitely do it as well. Manchester City also had a few games this season that were not convincing at all. Some moments of luck and they have huge problems to use their control over the game and score goals. This is quite often the problem they are fighting against also in matches with weaker opponents. The only game with many goals was against Fulham, and if you deduct those 5 goals from the 17 they have, they are averaging 2 goals per game, which is quite low for them.

I also think they are the favorites, but not as much as last season.
605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 30, 2023, 06:39:23 PM
-snip-

Liverpool with 9 players is defending really good and they even had a shot on target so maybe im crazy but if a good counter attack is made they can score. But i really hope that Tottenham scores soon because i really need them badly to win this match. Who knows how much additional time we will see aswell.
No striker, no attacking midfielder, no winger, that's Liverpool's lineup when they have to play with 9 players. They played with defenders and defensive midfielders because Klopp planned to maintain a draw until the end of the match.

What happen is the contrary. Liverpool's defense was forced to score their own goal due to high pressure from Tottenham. Joel Matip misanticipated the cross which led to Tottenham's winning goal at the end of the match. Finally, Liverpool, who seemed robbed by the referee, had to accept defeat at Tottenham today, plus 2 red cards.

But there is no doubt that this has been an intense game and Klopp was reminded of one of the earlier games against Newcastle I think, when they also had a very early red card and still won the game eventually. But receiving these red cards can destroy the end result of the season. I haven't seen the scenes that led to those cards, but receiving 2 after 69 minutes was like a knock out and then they kept their goal clean for so long. Too bad it didn't work out for them and losing such a game with a last minute own goal doesn't make it any less painful...
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 30, 2023, 03:30:41 PM
Liverpool will definitely reduce points from this match, because Tottenham Hotspur players are very good in this new season to use home advantage to win this match 2-1 to improve their points which their strikers are capable to score goals that will give them victory at the end of the match.
I don't see things the way you see them and I know for sure that no one is certain of what will become of that match. Despite this, I still bet on Liverpool to win rather than Tottenham, Liverpool no longer has the challenges that you might seem they have anymore, they are better than last season which now makes people think they are one less club. Any clubs could have their up and down moments and I've noticed that Liverpool are out of their bad situation at the end of last season.

In my own prediction, the result might be as you predicted but in the reverse manner where Liverpool will score 2 and Tottenham will score 1 goal or nothing. This might be a tougher match than it's being speculated, but one thing that is sure with my instinct now is that Liverpool will come out victorious.

That Liverpool win is a tough call I think, but of course why not go for it. But I think since this is a home game for Tottenham, I do at least expect and a very close fight for the win. For me Tottenham is one of the biggest surprises of the season as I thought they would have difficulties to overcome Harry Kane's transfer. Last season they were quite bad and now without Harry Kane they play so much better. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but they are working hard to make things happen. It is definitely the game I look most forward to.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 23, 2023, 05:48:51 PM
Instead of scoring goals and leading their home match, Barcelona had to fall behind to Celta Vigo who were not the favorites. Celta Vigo appeared in good spirit even though they did not have good form in the previous match, but I believe Barcelona has a better chance of winning.
Things can change quickly in the second half. Barcelona in their current shape is not a team to score one goal and think that you have won. Xavi has made changes for the second half, De Jong out and Gavi in, Alonso out and Yamal in, Also Ronald Araujo for Romeu. I see these changes as changes that will be effective and make the game go the way of Barcelona. Barcelona will win this game, Xavi needs to make more changes, Take out Ferran Torres and give Raphinha a chance.

That is what I thought as well but for now Celta Viga is giving their best and the result reflects that obviously. Seriously, if anyone is following what is happening in this game, Celta Vigo is the superior team if you ask me. Normally the team controlling the ball most of the time also should be able to create more chances and more of anything during the game, but not here. Barcelona is harmless, it is as if they aren't able to create chances. All things equal it isn't unlikely that Celta Vigo has the chance to score a counter goal as well when Barcelona is pressing them. This will be interesting until the end.

I’m pretty sure a lot of people had a lot of confidence in Onana when he was brought in to Manchester United. I mean, who wouldn’t? He did an amazing job over at Inter Milan, he just had to be brought in.
I remember watching the game and seeing him sitting so dejected, I felt sorry for him. He probably didn’t think he would have conceded as much goals as he has done in his time at Manchester United.
He’s most likely under some pressure to get better but he can only do so much considering the defense isn’t entirely free of any fault.
I feel so bad for him, he is good goalkeeper and we all saw what he did in Inter Milan last season and i was even more surprised when I watched the champions league final, he played excellently and with his confidence i knew he was too good for the club and other teams will seek for his services. His move to Manchester United was a good move for him but I think probably the overall team performance has affected him and made him lose so much confidence. These things happen alot and it is same thing happening to Mudryk in Chelsea, they are good players that have lost their confidence due to one or two reasons. I hope they regain back their confidence and redeem themself.

I wouldn't go too far with any interpretation in relation to Onana's mistakes. There is not one goalkeeper in the world who is still free of major errors during important games. There have been plenty of disastrous mistakes during some of the biggest games there are. Whether that be in the Champions League or even at a World Cup. The important thing now is that Onana doesn't carry that burden around for a long time. He should mentally get himself fixed by just getting over it and focusing on preventing those errors from happening again. Or it would be even better to erase that mistake entirely and not include it in his thinking during the next games. He has the quality to play free of error games and that is what counts.

One of the most interesting derby matches in week six, both Arsenal and Tottenham have an unbeaten record this season. What is most unique in my opinion is that both of them have managed to beat Man United this season. I think the strengths of the Gunners and The Lilywhites are quite balanced at the moment. However, if you look in more detail, I agree with you in placing Arsenal as the favorite in this derby. Arteta squad just won the UCL group stage match with a score of 4-0 against PSV, a source of confidence to face Tottenham.

Even though Tottenham are also unbeaten so far in the EPL, beating Arsenal at home requires a lot of effort and luck. I think this will be a match that will produce a title challenge this season, either for Arsenal or Tottenham. Even though the forces are quite balanced, I don't think a draw will happen.

I agree that it is one of the most interesting games, but I don't think it is for the fact that they have both beaten Manchester United. It is not that overwhelming as Manchester United wasn't very good in some of the Premier League games. What's more exciting is how Tottenham is playing at the moment as that is some really decent football. That's not just some lucky goals, but very well structured and planned out.

Arsenal had some close games, not least the one against Manchester United with those very late goals for Arsenal, but they are also doing pretty well in most of the games and this should be a game on a level playing field for those two teams. I can't predict this one very well. I think Arsenal has a little advantage.

Any strong team can lose and this time Atletico Madrid lost the game against Valencia while were waving to see them winning this game. Diego is still in good form with his teams and they have good performance regardless of their performance in this match. At the moment of writing this post, they are playing against Lazio and they are winning the game with 1-0 results which is more important than in the game against Valencia.
Atletico Madrid are having poor results in league games, definitely are out of line to be in good shapes. The supporters are showing their aides in all rounds, definitely Atletico Madrid are going to get back up and have remarkable results. Diego Pablo Simeone is a prominent coach for Los Colchoneros, he has been with the team for such a long time and knows basically how to manage the club. He is confident of his team in competiting in the race for La Liga title. It's definitely going to be a tough one to handle. Atletico Madrid sitting 7th position on the table.

But this is where one of the bigger problems could be for Atletico Madrid.

I like it a lot when clubs stick to their managers for a very long time, but there is a risk that positive friction and tension gets lost over time. It depends on the quality of the manager to reinvent himself when necessary, to choose new words and find new methods to motivate his players again. This can be much harder than you can imagine. If the team isn't doing very well and the manager doesn't change anything and just sticks to what has been done in the past, the players could also lose trust in the effectiveness of whatever approach the manager chooses. That's why good managers are by far not only about their training methods, but about their empathetic qualities and whether they understand how to get the players to give their best.

Simeone has been there for a long time now and I think the time might soon be there that enough is enough.
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 22, 2023, 04:33:28 PM
Well that is also true. But in that case the club can actually have an option to push the player. Because the club can easily say that we are not going to give you anything more than X amount of money. Actually no European club is definitely going to give you that money. So either you play in the European competition or you go to the Saudi league. And of course that will mean you have to forget about European competitions.

But if a player is around 30, it is very likely that he has achieved decent things in his life and probably he is not going to get better with his performance anymore. so the ball is in the court of the player, he will have better negotiation power in this situation. But at the same time we cannot talk trash about Saudi league, just because they are spending more money to make the league better.

Yes but the players' attitude towards engagements with clubs from the Saudi Professional League might also trickle down to younger player generations. Until now it has mostly been the older generation of players around 30+, who decided to essentially end their professional career in Europe and go for the big paycheck. But the more European players go to Saudi Arabia, the more might other players also feel home over there.

I think you you are right that a sort of ultimatum is the way to go and to let the player know that X amount of money will be paid and that's it. But don't be fooled and think that no players will go for the money then. I am sure we will see some Neymar kind of players who would be willing to leave Europe way earlier than age 30.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: September 21, 2023, 07:08:55 PM
I think it is official that Liverpool loves coming from behind and winning any team they play against and it doesn't matter if it's in the league or outside the EPL.
I really love the new style of play even with them having some good players on the bench they still have it in mind that they have to win. Klopp should take advantage of this Liverpool team as they are now and he should forget the players the club have lost due to the transfers coming from the Saudi side.
Little by little Liverpool are getting better everyday and I feel they're going to be a huge threat for other clubs in the EUROPA LEAGUE.

Actually I am not too sure Liverpool won today but one goal from Nunez through the penalty has improved the morale of the players until finally Diaz scored the 2nd goal for Liverpool, but Liverpool are not safe, there are still 10 minutes left Lask can do something surprising as they did in the first half because as far as I know Liverpool don't prioritize playing away that is why Klopp keeps several important players on the bench and if the situation is not possible, these players will be included in the second half.

LASK seems to have been more resistent than expected, but against the inferior teams it often doesn't mean that Liverpool can go there and just crush them. They have nothing to lose and that is also how they play. They are not thinking about the game two or three days later, for them it is all about this evening. I think the difficult part for Klopp is to find the right words to motivate his guys who are used to playing against the best teams in the world in the Champions League and now the opponent is called LASK. It isn't easy to get out of that tunnel these players were in for a long while and now they had to go one step down. But they have done it well and as the competition progresses I am sure these guys want the title at all cost. This could also become a great competition for the viewers if we have some excellent teams in the final round.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Conference League 2023/24 Season on: September 21, 2023, 06:53:35 PM
It seems that at this moment, I think maybe I'm only interested in betting on Aston Villa in the Europa Conference League match. Although Aston Villa will play away, but I believe that factor of playing away will not make Aston Villa difficult to win. But yes, I also still don't know whether Aston Villa will play all its main players or some will be on the bench. Therefore, if Aston Villa continues to play with its main squad, then of course I will not hesitate to choose Aston Villa to win in betting. However, considering the quality of Legia and Aston Villa certainly has a difference, and I believe Aston Villa has better quality. Moreover, in the Premier League at this moment Aston Villa is also on fire and therefore, even though Aston Villa is playing away but I still believe Aston Villa will win in this match.

I was sure that Legia will put up a fight here in this game. I think it is never easy to play against teams from Poland in away games. They can tenaciously fight till the very end of a game and do not lose steam until the whistle is blown after over 90 minutes. I like their spirit and endurance and now Aston Villa had to overcome that force of Legia. It was as expected and Aston Villa was more active, more ball possession and a much higher accuracy in the game in general, but they couldn't turn their superiority into goals because that is when Legia is really fierce. The closer Aston Villa made it to the box, the more aggressive Legia became. Great collective performance by the team.

And a huge blow for AZ Alkmaar, oh damn it. They had a 3 goal lead against some to me unknown opponent named HŠK Zrinjski Mostar from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Alkmaar pulled off a feat and lost the game 4-3 and seriously, HŠK Zrinjski Mostar converted 4 out of 5 chances into goals and had 28% ball possession, really well done!
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 21, 2023, 06:40:07 PM
Considering the result of yesterday's match, it seems like I'm too early to say that yeah Manchester United performance might return to good under Ten Hag leadership, it just takes a time for the new players to adaptation very well. Actually, last season I admired Ten Hag him can bring Manchester United to get tickets UCL, but in this new season red devils performance is not that good, that's maybe because from side new players still don't have good chemistry at there. After all, indeed playing against Bayern Munich is not an easy job.

I believe that ten Haag was super angry after the game against Bayern Munich and I can understand him. It was known that Manchester United wouldn't get a dozen of great chances against Bayern and that they would need a solid and reliable defense to then strike back and see what's possible during the game, but when they got those two goals against them I think hardly any team would be able to fully suppress the negative emotions and still try to win the game. That's what they actually did and Manchester United played much better than the last few games, but they couldn't afford that many goals against them. I would like to know the words that ten Haag chose during halftime and after the game.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 20, 2023, 09:15:06 PM
It was difficult for Manchester to equalize the score because their play was very easy to read and when Manchester United had the ball they often played from the wings and went straight to Marcus Rashford. This is different from Bayern Munich's playing pattern, which plays with a system, starting from the midfield, the left and right wings all play a role.
Andre Onana also performed poorly because he was unable to block the ball strongly so Leroy Sane scored a goal in the 28th minute, and Serge Gnabry scored the second goal in the 32nd minute. In the second half, if Erik ten Hag had not made changes, I think Manchester United would have conceded again.

Manchester united had the tendency and the vIbe to fight and get a come back against Bayern Munich but unfortunately they have a leaking pipe behind at the goal post in the person of Onana therefore they have a long way to go in terms of keeping a clean sheet in a match.
The result of today's game 4:3 shows that a come back would have been possible if the goal keeper was making the necessary savings as expected.

I also want to give it to Arsenal.
What a beautiful way for arsenal to have come back to the European champions league and winning their first game in a superb style after many years. I initially thought they Arsenal were going to struggle in getting a victory with their first game but I guess a premier league team can't do less against a team as PSV.

FT. Arsenal 4:0  PSV

I didn't have Onana on my mind as a player who is prone to making that kind of mistakes, but isn't he usually very reliable? These things can happen and on that level is punished by a team like Bayern Munich, but still it's not the best performance by Bayern either when they get a penalty as a present and a goal due to a goalkeeper mistake and yet its is only one goal that puts them ahead of Manchester United. This game should have been over a couple of times but a lack in concentration brought Manchester United back into the game repeatedly. 3 points for Bayern yes, but not the performance they are supposed to give when they really want to go after the trophy.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 20, 2023, 08:28:00 PM
Manchester City has definitely been very careful about spending money. They have brought in the players that they actually need. They did not overspend at all. Well maybe we can say something different about Jack Grealish. I do not think he deserved that big of a transfer money. But I guess that’s okay. Considering how much money people are spending right now for players. They have actually brought in very good results for the amount of money that they have spent so far. I don’t think not a lot of clubs can actually say that. Especially not Manchester United. They have spent stupid money for a lot of players that did not give them almost anything.

At first I thought the same and then yes, it was because all those prices for any players of any quality were suffering from inflation literally. The prices were irrational and nobody could understand them. It was about that time when Grealish was bought and unless players have a clause that they can leave the club for a fixed sum of money like De Bruyne and Haaland I think, Manchester City is a rich club and the others make them pay for it. But still the difference between Manchester City and Chelsea is that Grealish became an essential player for the team. He is important to the whole game and perfectly fits into the system that Guardiola wants. If you see it that way, Manchester City spends 100 million once and it is good. Chelsea spends 70 million four times and none of the players delivers.

The inflation has definitely got to the people. But sometimes I wonder if inflation actually gets to those people. because they already have enough money to spend on anything.  But at the same time, I also think that inflation does hit them a lot. Because the way the price of players are increasing right now, it is surely causing a lot of problems. Now the problem is they actually try to bring him expecting a huge performance from him. But he really did not perform that well to be honest.

Actually, the trend of spending too much money for a player started with Manchester United in my opinion. They were spending a lot of money for players which did not actually deserve that much money to be spent on them. And to be fair, a club which is as rich as Manchester City is definitely going to spend a lot of money to bring players. It is very possible that one time a certain player is not going to perform as they expect him to. But after that, Manchester City sprinted money, very carefully.

But what you are referring to is not an inflationary environment because production costs are rising like electricity or fossile energies. It is because the Saudi Professional League is introducing surreal price levels for player transfers and salaries. This is one major driver of the escalation of transfer fees that we have recently seen. The competition from Saudi Arabia and other countries from around that area like Qatar is real regarding transfer price levels and salaries. It provides players with a new option to go even harder in negotiations. If they don't get what they want in Europe, there is always this surreal emergency exit that makes them so much money that they can't believe it themselves.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 20, 2023, 08:08:28 PM
My logic said villa has more chance to win over chelsea. Chelsea has gone back to the what chelsea used to do. Chelsea was alway less pressing to the its opponent. Chelsea is now so much slow compared to the last season.
I think that the young players were also affecting the performance from chelsea. I saw that people praised this club so much in pre season but the result from its EPL matches were very disappointed for sure. I can't even sure if i shall trust chelsea once again.
Myself said that if it's enough to trust this club. Picking this club in my multi bet is just a disaster as it can make my multi to collapse. Chelsea's attackers have no proper decision making.
It can be seen from how many chances wasted for nothing. Soem players chosen to pass the ball to its team mates instead of shooting it which is terrible. Chelsea's decision making is craap.

Uncertainties frequently influence football narratives regarding clubs and games. Despite having a strong roster, Chelsea recent performance issues have drawn attention. Fans are perplexed by their inability to triumph over seemingly inferior competition like Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest. On the other hand, Aston Villa has had a strong start to the season, casting some doubt on Chelsea storied domination. It is interesting to see oddsmakers favour Chelsea despite their failures. Although Chelsea should theoretically gain from having home field advantage, recent defeats to inferior opponents like Nottingham Forest have lessened their impact. With both teams having strengths and limitations the outcome of the game is still undetermined as it gets closer.

I believe that these situations can get a team caught in a deadlock because resilience decreases exponentially fast with every single mistake or goal against them. When they start into a game with a good mindset and want to change everything on that day and finally do better, it often needs only one stupid goal against them or any other action in a game that makes them lose confidence and it is as if a switch is flipped in their minds again. Everyone who has been doing bad at something probably knows these situations when self-confidence is low and it doesn't need much to take someone down again. I believe that Chelsea is in that stadium again already and it is hard to get out of that.

I thought after the game against Liverpool that Chelsea is on a good way and did the right things to improve enough to at least be somewhat competitive. They have been the better team against Liverpool, played with high accuracy and good drive and passing to constantly keep Liverpool under pressure. But Liverpool is the team that used that game against Chelsea to analyze everything and learn from it whereas Chelsea is exactly where they stopped last season. When a team gets 1 out of 6 points in two games against Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth, what is their goal for the season supposed to be? It can't be the Champions League qualification. It can't be any of the UEFA qualifiers. Good for them that the teams behind them are that bad, but Burnley has two games less and Luton Town has one game less. Imagine what the table looks like when they win a few points in those games.

I would really like to know what's going on in the head of Todd Boehly and whether he is already desperate or still positive about the future.

One of the reasons for Chelsea's poor performance was their management. Chelsea's performance started to weaken mainly after the change of management. And last season they failed to even be in the top 10 of the points table. And they are trying hard to stabilize the team. Despite changing coaches several times, Chelsea's performance has been poor. And Pochettino has coached Chelsea this season. Pochettino is also unable to stabilize this team. The team has to be defeated even against a weak team. It is not certain whether Chelsea will change their coach again, giving Pochettino another chance. But I would say Pochettino should be given a full season.

Chelsea is struggling already and the games against Manchester City, Arsenal, Newcastle, Tottenham and Manchester United are all coming. I don't expect them to get a lot of points from those games. There is also Aston Villa and Brighton, which is anything but a guaranteed win for Chelsea. As of now I am of the impression that they could be beaten by any team in the Premier League and I guess a loss against Nottingham Forst at Stamford Bridge underpins that impression. They are probably out of ideas and are trying to come up with some solution, but nothing comes to fruition.

The funny thing is that now they have an easy series of games - out of 5 games, the only serious rivals were Liverpool and somehow Chelsea managed to draw with them. Further games will be more intense and if Chelsea loses to the favorites and the same losers (in the moment) like Newcastle or United, then they simply will not rise from 14th place where they are now.

The team is not able to perform well even against weak opponents. Chelsea's performance in the first match of the season against Liverpool was quite good. They drew 1-1 in the match. But Chelsea's performance was poor in every subsequent match. Chelsea will play against Aston Villa in the next match. Aston Villa is not a strong team. But now they are in better form than Chelsea. Chelsea's main weakness is the poor bond between the players. This is why their performance is erratic. Chelsea's squad is strong enough. Chelsea's past record against Aston Villa is not good. Chelsea have lost their last two matches against Villa. Chelsea's chances of winning this match are also low.

Barcelona's performance in the first match of the season was not good. They drew goalless against Getafe and Raphinha received a red card. But after that the team made a wonderful comeback. In the next four matches we saw very good performances from the Barcelona players. Barcelona dominated and won every match. And if Real Madrid fails to get 3 points in today's match, Barcelona team will go to the top of the points table.

Barcelona team is very strong this season. And the strongest team in La Liga can be called Barcelona. Xavi has been able to stabilize this team. Due to the strong bond between the team players, their performance is also consistent. And like the last season, this season Barcelona is moving towards the goal of winning the title.

The start this season was terrifying again although I knew that it was quite the same last season. But the red card that Raphinha received was childishly stupid I remember.

Now he is back in the team and his goal against Betis was excellent, a well taken shot from distance. I don't understand why some players blow a fuse out of nowhere and risk the team's success as a consequence. Raphinha can be such an important player for the team and with his ability to shoot from the distance as we have seen in the last game, it's a waste if he takes himself out because of such stupid actions.

They have also celebrated ter Stegen for yet again a flawless game by him.
