I find it quite amazing btc holds 55% dominance over other crypto currencies and is at $1500+.
I remember not so long ago it was 86% and a far lower price.

Really though, for those of us who have been through perhaps 3 or more bubbles now and managed to hodl the entire time....it does start to get to the point where I think....am I ever going to sell? I know that if I ever do, a year after I would be spitting with rage.
Yep. It allowed me to hold from 2013. But, beginning to fear I'm treating bitcoin like an old spinster hoarding cats at some point you just have to say. No more new cats. I always had a figure in my head to sell but I am leaning more of being stubborn and not selling at all. I hoping to use my bitcoin for my future plans and not sell for £££. |

I'm still not too happy about the Bitfinex thing and would be far more excited if things were back to normal. I can't tell whether that's lingering PTSD or a justified gripe. How are you feeling deep down inside?
Excited but apprehensive at the same time. I'd preter us to slow down a bit now for a few months. Perhaps a period of consolidation between $1350 - $1550? Exactly the same here. Let's not get too carried away. We all know what happens after a rise like this. I've held bitcoin during 2013 until now so I feel I've seen it all. I will keep hodling on as per normal. As long as you keep coming out with some spanking one liners Gentlemand I'll be happy. Edit..Ps. Feeling good but strangely not that excited about the rise. I remember feeling more happy when it crossed $400 summer before last I believe. I don't know why. |

I remember for a sustained period a couple of years ago there were dozens of posters laughing at us, mocking 'bag holders' as the price dived all the way back into the $200's.

Then you have to wait for it. Patience is the key for gains. Impatience is bad for business, every trader has shorted too early sometimes to miss the real party. Hold. I think I'll just keep holding. I am fully aware I could miss potential profits from the up and down movement but the hodling over the past 4 years or there abouts seems to ok for me. No bitcoin will be sold until 5 figures. |

Day trading trolls are out b...bb..because price movement not logical, can't draw their silly lines on a chart and try make sense of things.
Long term hodlers are in, because we just dgaf what happens in the short term.
The day will come when the exchange game players get drowned in a tidal wave of real demand. I don't think it's happening now but the first lappings might be occurring when you look at the ever increasing Localbitcoins action. I think they became a bit too comfortable with the idea that there isn't a real world out there. Can't wait for that day. But tbh, the deluge won't be started by Average Joe. It'll be the wealthy investors first. Probably just before a world market crash (because insiders *always* know when it's happening well in advance). Average Joe will, of course, come in late as the last bagholder in a market gone nuts crazy.  FOMO game is strong right now. Good. So we are still on for $1400 then a dump York? Love to see 1400! |
