Probably nobody didn't saw Baskonia destroying Barcelona by 23 points. At one moment difference reached even 30 points. Howard, Miller-McIntyre and Moneke was on fire. As much as it looked strange decision to appoint Dusko as Baskonia coach for 4th time, so far it's working so well.
Panathinaikos - Zalgiris, such low quality game. How Zalgiris with 23 turnovers managed to stay in the game is mystery for me. It was already 4th loss in a row for them and things doesn't looks good for Zalgiris.
Bayern - Partizan. It looks that was first Bayern win vs Partizan. And it was without Obst, Bonga and Lucic, while Partizan was without Punter. Bayern looked better in the end, while Parrizan missed some good 3-pointers.

Mental illness.
I am not joking.
And it's so sad to see snooker GOAT struggling with mental illness, it's already been long time since he have it. He already talked multiple times about retirement, but I hope he won't do it yet.

I have no idea what "they chose to bat first" even means Grin I just went with the best odds for the teams and chose India as the winner because it's the most popular sport in the country.
No idea too and what advantage it gives. I would guess that's something similar like to seve first, but probably circket fanswould laugh from such my prediction Cheesy.

Sorry guys, I fucked it up. I got used too much on those reminders that you used to send few hours before the deadline and without them I completely forgot to submit my answers.
My suggestion to you and other members. Set reminder about BSFL on your phone for example 1 hour before the deadline and make that it would repeat each week. Previous season I missed deadline even with reminders from Cr2, so, from now I have notification on my phone because shit happens sometimes.
623  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] Do you eat tacos on Taco Tuesday? on: November 15, 2023, 08:20:01 PM
Indeed. Turkish food (Döner Kebab) is extremely popular in german speaking countries. I live in a small town, but we have several places selling kebab.
Not just German speaking countries, but probably half of Europe - Eastern and Central Europe, Balkans, Nordics maybe.

Not tacos for me today, just likely some arepa or an empanada. Have you ever tried those?
Never heard about it before, now I googled it and it looks tasty. Would like to try it, but probably I wouldn't find it anywhere near to my location. There is always option to do your own, but I'm not good at kitchen and a bit lazy for it Cheesy.
624  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: November 14, 2023, 09:17:02 PM
Regardless who did it, I would say their plan went as planned and Germany as started to seek for other energy alternatives away from the Russian Gas and petroleum.
If It was Ukraine itself which did it, I would assume they only did so under the authorization of the American CIA
Don't know who did, but yeah, if that pipeline wouldn't be blown up, very likely that Germany still would suck Russian Gas pipe until this day without looking for other suppliers and funding this war.

If I were at the front, my main worry would be to get my arse blown up by a FPV drone.
If we already talk about FPV, there is two interesting videos filmed from different perspectives:
https://twitter.com/Archer83Able/status/1724127618843210020 I only can try to imagine feeling when you're getting chased by kamikaze drone and you understand that's most likely last moments of your life.

While there was strange message in Russian media that their troups is regrouping to more favourable positions in Dnepr area. This message was deleted and called false just after few minutes. Interesting, it was just mistake or preparations for another good will gesture.

625  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: November 14, 2023, 08:44:15 PM
Is Roobet lost their active gamblers? so they don't make a lot money than it was and resulting reduction in signature campaign? or they just want to try other marketing strategy?

There's still a big traffic in their social medias and they still launch art contest for almost every month too.
I wouldn't draw such conclusion. I think that if they would be doing really bad, they would close campaign completely and end other their promotions, not just cut number of participants. IMO, it was just budget adjustment. Roobet is already established brand, so, they don't need such big campaign anymore. But as said above, they still keep campaign with less participants because they still need some presence on Bitcointalk.

We have double week in Euroleague and plenty interesting games today. One already ended - Efes won against Monaco away after leading almost whole game. It's a bit unexpected, considering that Monaco won 5 games in a row before that.
In other game Olympiacos have double digit lead vs Maccabi and for me it was strange that Maccabi were favorites here, so, I took Oly win. There is also Vaelncia - Real and Virtus - Milano in play and it's close games and Crvena Zvezda is leading by 11 vs Fenerbahche.

Meanwhie in Eurocup we had another crazy comeback. Lietkabelis was down by 11 vs Turk Telekom with 1:37 remaining and then they made 17:0 run in last minute and overtime. Not often you can see team failing to score in whole overtime. There is extra spice in this game. Current Lietkabelis coach Nenad Canak was sacked by Turk Telekom in begining of season, so, he returned to his second home Panevezys where he spent almost 5 years before that. So, this win should be very sweet for coach Canak:

627  Other / Meta / Re: Is this quality of life idea? on: November 13, 2023, 08:20:59 PM
I'm not really sure that such thing would be actively used here. Not against proposal, but I don't think that we need theymos involvenent here. As said above, if there is demand, someone can make script for it, I don't think that it would be very difficult for person with knowledge.
Also, I see little issue in this proposal. If such thing would be implemented, Bitcointalk would have endorse 3rd party website like Coingecko. I'm not sure that theymos want that.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: November 13, 2023, 08:09:24 PM
There is another challenge with Las Vegas GP - extremely low temperatures. Maybe it won't be coldest ever F1 race, but most likely coldest in modern era. All sessions will be held at night (qualifying at noon and race at 10 PM local time)and current forecast shows 8-9°C, but it may drop even to 5°C. So, there will be lot of struggle to keep tyre temperatures high.
Also, we in Europe have to prepare to get up early on weekend to watch it because here it will be early morning during qualification and race.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: November 13, 2023, 04:10:39 PM
Though the match between Benfica and Sporting Lisbon ended 2:1 in favour of Benfica but Sporting Lisbon really tried their best and even played better, if not for red card I believe Benfica wouldn't have had the chance to win them, though Sporting defense was very careless and porous and they almost won the match but Benfica scored two goals in the die minutes and won Sporting Lisbon and by losing this match, they've given Benfica an edge to top the league table as the both clubs share same points but Benfica is leading in goal difference.
Sporting were better until red card. But how painful it should be to lose game when you're defending 10 vs 11 for more than 30 minutes and still leading at 93rd minute. That second goal of Benfica looked like offside even after watching replay, but it was matter of 4cm.
Watched a bit of Arouca - Braga game, Braga won it 0:1, but damn, pitch looked like potato field.
Back to Vitoria - Porto game where Porto won, I only can say that Vitoria can blame only themselves for all opportunities they wasted.

It already looked that Ajax is already starting to play football but this round they dropped points against tiny Almere City. It was tough game, but it already lloked that Ajax have it in ther hands, but they got penalty not in the most dangerous situation on last minute and Almere scored it. It comes after painfuldeafeat against Brighton at home in Europe league which made their situation in Europe complicated too. So, not the best way to go into international break.
In main game of round, Feyenoord got minimal 1:0 win against AZ, while PSV had no problems against Zwolle 4:0 and remain on top with 7 point distance from Feyenoord.

Congrats @casperBGD, well played with CL questions. You got early advantage by backing Milan and Copenhagen and put me in very difficult situation.  Tried to follow Roma derby today, though it already didn't had importance for this competition. It was quite typical derby with lot of yellow cards and no goals. And it's a bit difficult to follow such game when we have crazy match between Chelsea and Man City and Sevilla derby.
I guess this time it's worth waiting to submit answers just before deadline because of ATP finals question to see who is who there.
My opponent this round is @darxiaomi. Good luck to you and let the best bastard win Cheesy
632  Other / Meta / Re: its so boring on: November 12, 2023, 08:22:22 PM
I don't get, you're trolling or posting this stuff seriously. First of all, who told you that forum is fun place. Bitcointalk isn't about entertainment, if you're looking for something fun, you probably should go to TikTok or Youtube. And if you don't like Bitcointalk, why you're still here, nobody isn't forcing you to stay on forum
I'm not sure what ''top posters'' dragged you into scams, but little suggestion from me. Before making decisions to invest money somewhere, you should use your own head and not blindly trust what others said.
633  Other / Meta / Re: A possible solution for broken images on the forum. on: November 11, 2023, 08:40:38 PM
There was poll made theymos what we should do with broken Imgur images and most of votes were for option to replace it with links. But as I understand, it's still haven't been done. I already fixed all my broken images, using script made by TryNinja - it's simpliest and easiest way to do it and you don't have to manually replace hundreds of images. Many users also did same thing, but there is still so many topics with useful information have broken links and it looks bad. Unfortunately, not much can be done to solve this issue because authors of these topics is inactive or they don't care. So we would need forum staff intervention to fix these images and it's not going to happen.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: November 11, 2023, 07:14:57 PM

I saw someone comparing Las Vegas to Spider Pig upside down and now I can't get this image out of my head Cheesy. But seriously it's another boring street circuit and I'm not big fan of it. I expect that overtaking will be just in DRS zones. And that extremely long straight, something similar like in Baku.

F1 news slow this week since the race is next weekend so found something very interesting to watch to fill that void for racing action until the end of the season:
Formula 1 Invited Me To Their Headquarters

Thanks for sharing very interesting content. I knew that they have room with so many screens and all feed from all these cameras, but I'm trying to imagine how difficult is to make final product that we get on TV. Motorsport is probably most difficul type of sport when it comes to broadcasting.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: November 11, 2023, 06:39:31 PM
Vitoria SC had a chance to reach 3rd place in the league table but squandered it as they lost 1-0 to Moriense FC. Vitoria SC vs Porto Vitoria SC have not won one of the last five matches. Vitoria SC is doing great this season. At home they can create chances to stop Porto. Currently Vitoria is fifth in the league table. FC Porto were unexpectedly beaten by Estoril, widening their gap to 1st place. They will try to take advantage of the Lisbon derby between Sporting and SL Benfica to move closer to the top. Vitoria SC, playing on their home ground, can take advantage and get a point or three. Porto can win 2-0 today.
Vitoria Guimaraes is looking surpirisngly well so far, but I'm sceptical about their chances today against Porto. I think it's going to be close game, but it's great opportunity for Porto to get close to Benfica and Sporting. It's last game before international break, no CL next week, so, they can focus only on today's game.
Abouttomorrow's Lisbon derby, bookmakers have Benfica as favorites, but after I saw how terrible they looked against Real Sociedad, I don't have much faith in them. On the other hand, Sporting doesn't looks perfect, they're playing away, almost every their win is such difficult, but they're consistently winning it.
636  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] Do you eat tacos on Taco Tuesday? on: November 10, 2023, 08:07:16 PM
Interesting to hear that Taco Tuesday is an American thing. I had no idea. It is big here though. For example, the place I go usually sells tacos for $3.99, but they sell them on Tuesdays for $1.79 which usually results in a line around the lot. The tacos are quite basic though. Typically just beef, cheese, and lettuce with a side of hot sauce.
Here in Europe tacos isn't a thing at all, not even talking about thing like Taco Tuesday. Here you can find proper taco only in Mexican food restaurants, but there is no such restaurants at every corner. Or you can make taco yourself, you can find tortillas at most of supermarkets.
I heard about Taco Tuesday's before, but for me it's difficult to understand how it turned into such big thing in America. Regular price $3.99 isn't high, but $1.79 is something extremely cheap, here for such price you only can get something to eat at places like Mcdonalds. But in general, in many European countries kebab is huge thing, it's something similar to Taco, you can find kebab vendors at almost every corner, though, proper kebab costs about $5.00.

That second quarter Olympiacos really underperformed and lost it against Baskonia. Amazing how they were able to tople the result like that, albeit in a narrow finish in the end.
That surely was not the result people expected given Baskonia's season so far but surely they turned the tables good. Big congrats on this well deserved win. Sadly it's surely going to make qualification chances a little harder for Olympiacos.
That was massive 2nd quarter from Baskonia - 9-30. Didn't expected this from Baskonia, but seems that Dusko return helped them, at least in short term.

Anadolu Efes increased the gap to 18 points thanks to their effective game in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. After that Zalgiris started to recover and and carried the match to overtime. But Anadolu Efes still won after overtime.
Seems it was night of comebacks, Zalgiris returned from -18 and sent game to overtime, Olympiacos also had -18, but then was was close from win, Partizan had -15, but managed to win game. Congrats with Efes win. While Zalgiris had similar problems as they have all season long and if they won't sign any player soon, there is no chance to reach playoffs for them.
Atmosphere at Stark arena was amazing again and maybe one of main reasons why Partizan won today. I tried to switch to game in other Belgrade arena where Maccabi and Bayern played without spectators and it was hard to watch, instantly got flashbacks to Covid times.
And my prediction about Valencia didn't aged well, they got completely sweeped by Milano Cheesy.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: November 09, 2023, 11:58:34 PM
Ajax took two wins in a row in Netherlands, heading out from relegation zone, and now they have to play against Brighton
not to lose odds are bit above @2, and looks tempting since Brighton is far from great form as well

Leverkusen, Liverpool and Roma are only teams having all wins so far, will they all continue their strikes, all having pretty tough away matches
will be interesting to see what happens
Expected something more from Ajax as they started showing some positive signs. But even [laying at home they lost without scoring a goal. Roma lost against Slavia, probably not that big surprise  and now it's almost clear that both teams will go to the next round. Didn't watched Toulouse - Liverpool game, but it had to be interesting. It already looked that LFC achieved draw3:3 on additional time, but VAR cancelled goal because of handball. Leverkusen remains only team with perfect record after scoring goal on 94th minute against Qarabag.
639  Other / Meta / Re: People commenting on the first page without having read the previous posts. on: November 09, 2023, 08:28:00 PM
Such problem really exists and probably it's not that small. Some people are too lazy to read OP, not even talking about remaining posts, they try to comment just after reading title. Offcourse that you can PM his campaign manager and maybe teach that user a bit in this way, but globally, there is no solution for this problem. Just look at social media like Facebook for example. Probably daily you can see people commenting on article just after reading clickbait title. And it's obvious that they didn't read because it's content is completely different from title. So, nothing surprising that such things happens on Bitcointalk too, especially when people are get paid paid fortheir posts. Time is money.

One of the reasons that not everyone mentioned is that some people have a long ignore list, and this list may contain accounts that make high-quality posts.
you may find that even  those accounts that are difficult to post spam will repeat above replies simply because they are on their ignore list.
This is something what I haven't thought about. But I'm not really sure that average user who is spamming for signature campaign actively maintains his ignore list.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 23/24 European basketball discussion: Euroleague/BBL/ACB/LegaA/LNB/TBL.. on: November 09, 2023, 05:20:02 PM
Should be an easy task for both teams normally.
Baskonia is struggling hard, even after the change of coaches they lost yet another match in the ACB at home.
With ALBA, hmm you never know. They are a weird team in the Euroleague. Sometimes they get blown out, sometimes they stick around and play well until collapsing in the last quarter.
But sometimes they are good for a big surprise, it's always a gamble with them.  Grin

Partizan vs Fener is definitely the game to watch today, not only because the electric atmosphere we can expect.

Today I'm actually watching woman's basketball, there is the 1st qualifier window for the next Eurobasket 2025. Germany will finally play with the 2 Sabally sisters that both play in the WNBA. They don't have to qualify though since Germany is one of the hosts. They just participate to practice for the Olympic qualifier beginning of next year.
Yeah, I also don't expect that both Greek teams will struggle much. While Partizan favoured by bookmakers, I think it's all about home factor, it should be interesting game. Efes - Zalgiris, I predict Efes win here. Zalgiris started season well, but so far they're not looking like playoff contenders.
Olimpia - Milano is most interesting game for me today and I think abouttaking Valencia win @3.25. So far Milan is leaving such sad impression, with such squad they should be in Top 8, but they're in the bottom again. If it would be other coach, not Messina, I think that his seat would be very hot now.
Real is plauing with Virtus which so far have surprising 5:1 result, but today I don't see any chance for them, predict Real win about 20 points.

I will watch womens basketball too. My country Lithuania will play with Azerbaijan, I think it's first time ever when Azerbaijan women is playing in qualifiers. And not often you can see bookmakers giving such lines:

But I doubt that difference will be such big, from what I remember for Lithuania women games against such opponents usually isn't that easy and we don't have few important players this time.
