Banul nu-i problema.

622  Economy / Speculation / Re: why bitcoin is falling? on: April 22, 2021, 06:00:04 PM
Because it's a normal asset that has downfalls too, not just positive market changes. Corrections are very healthy and needed, so better have them now than later.
623  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why do exchanges give you so much less coin in return exchanging vs buying? on: April 22, 2021, 11:55:32 AM
Convenience has a price. Privacy has one as well, usually even more expensive. Exchanging is instant and much simpler to use than placing orders is. And since all you have to do to instantly exchange a coin is to send an alt and receive another instantly in your personal wallet, there's a transaction fee you have to pay for the on-chain tx. ETH and BTC instant exchanges are usually way more expensive than altcoin exchanges are.

Binance's txs happen within their website, unless you withdraw. When you withdraw BTC or ETH, it's expensive even there as well. Smiley
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The old fiat days are behind us! on: April 22, 2021, 07:17:11 AM
I think it's a bad analogy since fiat has never made gold and silver obsolete. Maybe less used as a currency, but definitely not obsolete. I believe fiat will not be obsolete either, it's just going to turn into a digital version of it instead. Digital fiat will be a thing and will be more used than crypto imo. That's how I see it.
625  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How can Bitcoin market function without centralized exchanges? on: April 21, 2021, 08:51:39 PM
How does Bisq rely on traditional fiat payment systems? Bisq can run by exchanging alt to alt too, it's not just fiat you can exchange.

The most realistic alternative is atomic swaps, although we're still far from a working product. Nowadays it's so much harder to get a bunch of devs create something they will not profit off. Satoshi's gesture was epic and probably something only he and a very, very few more people would do (Laszlo's pizza?).

The markets would function very well off CEXs, especially if LN is implemented so that txs happen on the second rather than the first layer of the network. Rather than having so many withdrawals and deposits to CEXs, all could happen directly within your wallet.. not congesting the network anymore either.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 100% Doge will 10X in a Month 1% chance bitcoin will 10% - What will they buy? on: April 21, 2021, 01:40:03 PM
What the freak is this thread, man. Over half of the stuff you said either is BS or makes no sense.

Yeah, DOGE might pump fantastically in the short term. But you can't compare a meme with a damn king of Blockchain. Doge doesn't even have a working wallet. From this fact alone, we can already see how "amazing" and "worthy" a DOGE investment is.

DOGE will drop to the floor as soon as the rich consider they made enough money out of it. Musk is pumping the hell out of it and at any given time, he could simply say "ok doge is crap actually" and the coin will go -90% within a week max. What happens is, people think they're getting rich purchasing DOGE which is actually the poor purchasing the rich's coins at a very expensive price - when the price drops and the rich earned enough, all those thinking they're gonna get rich will lose so much money. Remember that those bucks you see on your crypto portfolio

If you're comparing a meme to some serious project, perhaps you don't even know much about the coins at all. By saying "it's not going to go up 10x in the future" and mentioning false facts such as the one about DOGE's supply, you prove so much about your real interest. You're looking to get rich quick. Has Bitcoin ever promised to go up 10x in price, or even twice?

Keep dreaming, 'cause DOGE will never be Bitcoin.
627  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stock to Flow Model the most accurate prediction of all models saying 82k May on: April 21, 2021, 11:00:36 AM
Satoshi probably invented the most price-predictable asset?
I disagree. It's easy to predict there'll be a pump after halvings, but it's way too soon to say that the cycle repeats indefinitely. Perhaps other kind of global economical situations would break a streak of halving pumps. Moreover, the pumps after every halving seem to be lower and lower in % than previous ones - and as we advance through the trillions, it's gonna get even worse probably.

I mean, just look at all those previous price predictions by experts and how many times TA said we're entering winters and heavy crashes when exactly the opposite happened. In fact, I think Bitcoin is one of the most unpredictable assets!
628  Economy / Speculation / Re: 🛑 Do you feel like Elon Musk has inflated the crypto Poll With Results 🛑 on: April 21, 2021, 07:15:36 AM
He pumped DOGE clearly to his own advantage. Having the opportunity to quadruple your investment in a matter of hours just due to your influence and not profiting off it is quite silly unless you really care about the market's health. Let's be honest, DOGE wasn't/isn't going to be able to keep that price up. His influence will end up the same way McAfee's did.

Bitcoin wasn't really affected by his tweets. Although he did say "everything to the moon", pumping BTC is much more harder nowadays than pumping DOGE is. Besides this.. DOGE remains a meme, while Bitcoin continues to do wonders. That's the difference. Influence will continue to be used tho whenever someone feels like they have it.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy a coin that can go ONLY up? on: April 21, 2021, 05:41:40 AM
So where exactly do the 90% of the coins go upon selling?

Yes, this will only happen if they have strong use case where people will actively use it in their everyday life.
Come on, Bitcoin is still barely used in "everyday life".. how does anyone expect a shitcoin to have this much success instead?
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miss Dogecoin? Time To Invest in Tokens Less Than 100 Satoshi On Binance on: April 20, 2021, 08:46:47 PM
Put your money in 100 shitcoins out of which only 1 gets to pump by 100x vs USD (while decreasing vs BTC parity) and you'll probably have dozens of times less money than you would've had by holding Bitcoin only right from the start. Add expenses such as time spent purchasing those 100 shitcoins from crappy no-name exchanges and getting a separate wallet full of bugs and with no peers for every single coin and you'll give up sooner than you think.

Shitcoins are great for short-term BTC multiplying speculation but other than this, no. They're just crap. And your time costs way more than these coins deserve.
631  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 20, 2021, 06:15:28 PM
What do you guys think about a financial crisis looming with all the debt and stock market just rising.
Back in 2008 I remember people were basically hoarding everything possible. They had some kind of feeling of hoarding and purchasing stocks, real estate, anything just to make money and feel good. I see the same atmosphere around today, once again. But this time it seems even crazier. Money's being made out of any crap possible and people seem to be once again hoarding stuff.

I know quite a lot of people who've got into debt in the last year. They seem not to give a damn about a looming financial crisis. Meanwhile, Bitcoin is "toi expensive" but $1k worth of clothes aren't. Makes no sense, and it seems like people are going damn crazy with the spendings. Just look at DOGE. The GME hype as well. Ever since the GME hype, I thought we're in the middle of a "too-good-to-be-true" hype created by the Rich which will make stocks and prices parabolically go up before dumping harder than ever before, wreaking havoc and affecting especially the average investors..

It's probably a last hype before the disaster.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there so many negative posts about BTC lately? on: April 20, 2021, 04:41:36 PM
There are way too many for it to be just regular Joes trying to negatively affect the price. It's probably a spam coming for large whales in an attempt to further dump the BTC price. Corporations need this so they can buy up lots of BTC before the actual high of this halving.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $1?$10?$100?What will the price of $Doge be? on: April 20, 2021, 12:55:06 PM
DOGE doesn't even have a properly-functioning wallet. I can't believe a coin that doesn't even have a working wallet can get to top 5 coins by market cap..

What will its price be? Soon, if Musk keeps taking advantage of markets, it might be a friggin' lot more than I may imagine. But over the mid-to-long term? It's gonna wreck so many hands.
634  Local / Română (Romanian) / Re: Taxe ANAF pentru Binance Visa Card? on: April 20, 2021, 08:34:43 AM

Smiley

635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm Looking for a Simple and Anonymous Crypto Money Wallet or Exchange! on: April 20, 2021, 08:09:23 AM
I think the closest you can get is by using Komodo's Atomic DEX or Waves Exchange. Besides these 2, there's also Bisq but they have quite high fees especially when BTC mempool is clogged.

Out of them, Waves offers you the "smoothest" experience and the highest volume and liquidity.
636  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: April 20, 2021, 06:54:22 AM
Oh, Bitcoin is dying again... wonder if anyone has ever counted how many times it did so far Cheesy If 10-20% is a big crash for you, just wait and see when it's gonna drop more than 50%.. or when it drops heavily for a few days, only to be followed by a bullish explosion.

It's Bitcoin. You never really know when to purchase and when to sell before it's too late. Best strat is hodling with DCA.
637  Local / Română (Romanian) / Re: Taxe ANAF pentru Binance Visa Card? on: April 19, 2021, 08:05:59 PM
Binance este bazat in Malta, tu traiesti in Romania.

Binance desi e in Malta, inca are KYC. Asa ca.. in orice moment tranzactiile tale pot fi date mai departe in mana autoritatilor, atata timp cat ei considera ca sunt suspecte.

Pentru 3... pai cardul nu-i pe identitatea ta? Smiley

639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Foggy identities. on: April 18, 2021, 10:54:49 PM
Satoshi certainly wasn't alone with the idea of a decentralized economy, yet only he was able to develop what we today know as "Bitcoin". Whether a team effort or not, does it even really matter anymore? Satoshi was here for a short time, until the project caught the necessary support to sustain itself without the need of him. It was sufficient and today I don't really think a comeback of his would matter anyway besides being a potential astronomical price magnet, probably Elon Musk x10

The only messages and footprints of his that I trust are those he left behind until he disappeared. Ever since he disappeared, any new footprint is a potential impersonator or bad actor who's got hold of his account(s). Therefore, your quotes dated after his disappearance are worth pretty much nothing.. Especially when it's this clear that isn't his kind of punctuation or grammar, lol.
