Or a selfie Can you imagine a world where duck face pictures on Instagram are actually relevant (because of embedded, encrypted financial transactions)?

i originally abandoned my believe in conspiratively motivated price movements but that latest small sell off made me suspicious again. worst moment to let lose of your xc. i don't expect everybody to believe in the future prices like i do but thats just stupid or agenda driven.
+1 yea me too, hence my hadirated comment above. I think there are hidden Big whales with interests in keeping XC price down I don't know how to explain this anymore it seems everytime there is a major push to suppress the price.. this coin should have been 0.01 since July And whoever it is can keep on doing it. They sell when there is a bump and push the price down to where they can buy more...then rinse and repeat. I have a few theories...one of which is actually a positive one...but there is no point in discussing them. The only thing that will fix the issue is sufficient volume and I think that it is a matter of time rather than if... It's more fun discussing the tech and the future incorporation anywayz...

SonicVortex has finally arrived Android App (To follow on Playstore shortly) Accompanying QT Windows ManualWindows AutomaticMac DMGSourceRelays SourceWindows Mac Inbound Tomorrow Jar Needed for Relay F5-Steganography LibraryDirections and Daemons are forthcoming SonicVortex is a way to hide encrypted transactions by steganography. You take a picture, author a transaction, then SonicVortex embeds the encrypted transaction in a picture. It uses the f5 steganography algorithm, which uses matrix encoding to hide the picture, making it almost impossible to detect that any hidden communication is present. Moreover, the encryption is state-of-the-art AES/GCM encryption, suitable for banks and governments. So even in the highly unlikely event that any communication becomes suspected, it is impossible for an adversary to ascertain the nature of the communication. Thus, your transaction is hidden and protected from even the most powerful adversaries. Additionally, AES/GCM protects against any changes to the encrypted, hidden transaction. If just one pixel of the picture is changed, it will be detected and the transaction rejected. Holy Crap...this is awesome! Now people can take photos of their dinner and I might care!!

Our digital relationships breaking down boarders So after XC's tech matures, how about we replace governments with this? It'll scale from grassroots, anywhere, run on phones, and due to its privacy there'll be no way of stopping it. Yes please.

I respect that MemoryShock, you've explained yourself well enough I believe. Welcome to the crypto world! Have fun!!!
I appreciate that...thank you. It was still an off topic post and we need to get back on track....the 23/24th was aimed for details and instructions so we have a good day coming...Russell...it's your show and my apologies for the outburst.

lol
Not worried...not even with the smirking post. Not selling anywayz; I just want to know what he has been working on...! Other than coding his ass off for your profit? Really? Personally, now that you bring it up, I hate the fact that I have an opportunity to buy into someone else's work and make some profit off of it. It pisses me off on a personal level to the extent that I was motivated to learn some basics and from here am motivated to learn more specific coding (your inferred expletive is timely as I just learned about this.. http://www.wired.com/2014/09/exercism/ ) I won't be any where near the talent that Russell has in any time soon but don't think for one second that I am here 'just for profit'. I am part of a citizen journalist group that stands to benefit (not financially; but through the use of different financial and anon communicative transactions/messaging) from advances in the crypto world...meaning real world application. I have interests in Maidsafe's and XC's aims for decentralization and I am hoping that SSD and even Stealth can contribute to that...because the world will be better for it. Why are you here? Do you expect to make no money? I can go further into detail regarding -why I want crypto to succeed- and I'll use charts and facts and historical reference. I don't know how to code but I am sure as hell not someone who is here to make a lambo. And for the record, if there were no people to spend time and money into following any given coin, much less Sonic, how much motivation do you think the dev would have? Wipe that condescension off your face, Good Sir. Delete this post if desired...

I'm only questioning what Pizpie said, that xcurrency is a service/product to be controlled by xc inc. I'm concerned about how the wallet may change. If xc is open-sourced will there be other wallets created by new start ups? Will xc inc embrace the competition? When will xcurrency be fully open sourced? I'm heavily invested here and have many questions and concerns. I don't mean to disrespect the team or the community and appreciate all of their hard work and input. I know I'm not the only one with these questions.
Open sourcing is on a delayed timeline...case in point, Key Coin implemented XC's Rev 1 but when they did, XC was still way ahead of them...they benefited strongly in the short term but have tailed off significantly. I'm not sure how much further down they would be if Dan wasn't helping with their OS (Disclaimer: I think it is awesome that Dan/XC team is working with other platforms though I don't chase them when announced. I don't daytrade)... Also consider Tesla Motors. They announced that they were open sourced and they went up in value. While that may be apples and oranges, the delayed timeline for XC open sourcing in tandem with the amount of integration they will have by then (presumably with 3.0 apps and more) then I am not worried about it in the least. I'm only wondering how they will compete with Maidsafe...the projects are starting to sound very similar in idea...though I think that technicals might be way different (I really don't know on the latter nor do I really need to)... As far as the term decentralized...I think it refers more to how the information is stored and transferred, which is between wallets installed on who knows how many computers rather than a server(s) located at a corporate HQ location. The brand and coding could arguably be 'centralized' but that would be semantics and irrelevant in my opinion...

I just wanted to make note that we still do not have any idea what the Proof of Concept is...I'm kind of looking forward to the next few hours.

Here is how I look at it...
Whatsapp - sold to Facebook for 19 Billion Skype - sold to Microsoft for 8.5 Billion Snapchat - valued at 10 Billion Akamai (to an extent related due to content delivery) - valued at 10.82 Billion XC - current marketcap today 3.46 Million
Whatsapp - Centralised Skype- Centralised / Serious NSA Privacy Concerns Snapchat - Centralised / Serious NSA Privacy Concerns XC - Decentrlized Trustless System designed for Privacy Exactly!!

1 Share = 10 XC
Or...
1 share = At least 10XC?

I WAS RIGHT!
I own XC, SO I OWN SHARES? Without having to SELL XC?
Yeah, "jizzed"is not a word a top++ holder of a great future company might be allowed to use, but I just totally did it.
No You own the right to Buy XC shares if you OWN XCs 10 XC will give you the right to buy 1 share of the company....still fuking HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE this will drive XC price to the star as well as people that wants to buy shares they will need to buy XC First. Fuking Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssss Are you sure? Owners of other coins can buy shares Is owners of XC will be entitled to claim shares...that doesn't sound like having to purchase. Either way...huge news and once again, XC's collaboration with another platform is revealed to be for XC!

I'm pretty excited about buying this one and locking them away when it showed up on Bittrex...
The website is awesome...

The BAD news is that you guys keep releasing good news and your price keeps falling. And your devs are so broke they are taking on other projects that directly compete with yours and you find out third hand I think there might be some misinterpretation going on here. XC has a history of minor price dips when good news is released. Quite possibly an intentional manipulation by others in the altcoin community to prolong the inevitable. Further, working with other alts is a great sign in my opinion. Dan and the XC team seem more than dedicated to XC and it shows through their expanded roles. Taking a look at the bigger picture, Dan said a while ago that he intended on creating a platform that was 'bulletproof'. Since then, there has been nothing but consistent progress in creating a great code base that will enable the coming features. When XC releases anon VoIP with video (XCype?), for example, there will be no question that it is of unrivaled quality. Same with everything else they do. And it is in part because of the team's collaboration with other platforms. I'm thrilled that the XC team isn't working in a dark room...the foundation they are developing is going to make everything that comes in the next months actually awesome and not some flash in the pan.
