641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 16, 2016, 09:27:12 AM
You guys are talking about logo, and I can't perform simple transfer from Lisk online wallet.
0 confirmations after 20 mins, and looks like the transaction is stuck somehow (keeps appearing and disappearing from the transaction list in the wallet).
So, is this a breakthrough technology or just a crap?
The network is working as it should at the moment, and pretty much since genesis.
You most likely trying to use a node that is not in sync.
Take a look at the "blockchain" tab, if the latest block is not less than <10 sec old, then almost certainly that is the problem.

Well, have no idea what node is being used. Just logged in here https://login.lisk.io and wanted to do simple transfer from address A to address B.
Now, 40+ minutes after that, the transaction is still stuck - account balance keeps switching between pre-tx balance and post-tx balance. How is that possible?
BTW, no sign of my transaction on the blockchain obviously

You can use one of these public nodes listed here:

An attempted Turkish military coup appeared to crumble on Saturday after crowds answered President Tayyip Erdogan's call to take to the streets to support him and dozens of rebel soldiers abandoned their tanks in the main city of Istanbul. At least 60 people were killed in violence that erupted on Friday after a faction of the armed forces attempted to seize power, officials said.
...
The uprising was an "act of treason", and those responsible would pay a heavy price, he told reporters at a hastily arranged news conference. Arrests of officers were under way and it would go higher up the ranks, culminating in the cleansing of the military, he said.

In every coup, every side wants to control the capital to show he control the whole country. So why these military  are in Istanbul not Ankara which is the capital ?

Erdogan is now in Istanbul by the way , and he is calling the media with skype  Grin  the army almost dominated everything in the country
for people who understand Arabic , here is a link for what's going live

hopefully Erdogan is over , this man made my people and others suffer , it's the end of ISIS's main supporter  Smiley

Now Erdogan is going to UK if I'm not wrong, he is not in Instanbul.

Just saw this on the news, fucking hell, I didn't see this coming, I knew Edrogan was hated but I didn't think the military would do something about him as well, guess that comedian in Germany won't have to worry about getting jailed anymore for making jokes about him now.

Yeah to much unexpected events in such short time.

Hopefully Edrogan ends his career hanging from a tree.

Why are you saying this?
646  Other / Politics & Society / Turkey ‘coup attempt’ | ~265 dead and at least 1'600 injured on: July 15, 2016, 08:45:04 PM
"Turkish military have sealed off bridges in Istanbul saying they have taken control of the country, as the Prime Minister confirms a coup attempt is underway.

Binali Yildirim added that the military are acting outside the chain of command and security forces are working to resolve the situation. “The government elected by the people remains in charge. This government will only go when the people say so,” he remarked. He said those responsible for the attempted coup will ‘pay the highest price’."

647  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2016 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: July 15, 2016, 02:58:11 PM
And review for AdvCash plastic card.

The actual mastercard, issued by Wave Crest.
The main different to other that even card from Wave Crest, it NOT follow MyChoice program. And thats why you can't use benefits from this program.

The pros:
- Support are very fast and answers in around of hour
- The promo price for plastic card only 5$
- Account verification is a fastest from my experience. Take only 2 hours (compare to 3 weeks with CoinsBank!)
- Service are worked quite well and have a lot of options for deposit and withdraw
- Card came very fast, around 10 days
- Very low maintenance fee for card, no yearly fee
- Best daily withdraw limit - 3000$ (but still 2 transactions per day like other services)

The cons:
- BTC/Fiat Exchange rate are lower that could be. Fee is BIG. Very similiar to e-coin (around 3%) and it not very good
- UI for site are not very intuitive and don't show usefull things, like a current daily or monthly limits, etc.

I could rate AdvCash for 4/4.5 stars from 5, because as I see they are very good in almost all, except exchange rate/fee.
For rare and not costly operations it's a very good option.

If you want post also your review here in the official thread:

Soft fork or hard fork is a must to get the stolen Ethereum back. Most Ethereum community members support that.

There will not be soft fork. There could be a hard fork in a few days. The Ethereum community is discussing about that.

Hard fork confirmed:

Nice attack: Who was the man who drove the lorry?

"However, he was named locally as Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, a 31-year-old man living in Nice, known to police but not previously linked to jihadist groups.
He was married with three children and worked as a delivery driver, although he no longer lived with his partner, reports say."

A French-Tunisian criminal well known to the police for armed attacks used a hired lorry to kill at least 84 people in a terrorist attack during Bastille Day celebrations in Nice, it has emerged.

At least 10 children are among the dead in the Riviera city following a "cowardly and barbaric" atrocity believed to have been carried out by a 30-year-old attacker, who left at least one British national among the injured. Officials fear the death toll will rise.

As hundreds remained in hospital - including 18 fighting for their lives in intensive care - anti-terrorist judges opened an investigation into "mass murder" and investigators searched the home of the driver in the Abattoirs area of Nice.

Avrei potuto evitarlo?

No non avresti potuto evitarlo. Qui un thread interessante (in lingua italiana) sul resto dopo ogni transazione bitcoin:

I personally use E-coin debit card , I only have the virtual card but they have the physical cards as well and they will shit it to you or there is CoinsBank as well.

Check both their websites to know more about the fees and see what fits you. (It also depends if you want MasterCard or Visa Card)

If I'm not wrong coinsbank (formerly bit-x) offers a visa card or am I wrong? Wirex aka e-coin offers a mastercard (I've one of this card).
