641  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Help: Whats the best way to get BTC for Dollars in NYC on: March 05, 2018, 05:55:03 PM
Are you sure it’s your sister and not someone else you want to “sell” something to? Just keeping an open mind about potential scenarios. Scammers often ask for advice to make it easier for them to explore options if for example their victims live in places where buying bitcoins is very restrictive such as New York. To make it easier to get that advice they will often say things like it’s someone in the family, a friend, brother etc who owes money.

If she is your sister, she can wire you the money or send it by Western Union or Moneygram. And if I assumed wrongly, then I apologize. I’m just being open minded about this because the last thing i would like to see happen is for scammers to get all the help they need to fleece victims.

If the story is as you posted above, you can help your sister create a wallet, preferably one with private keys under her or your control. She can then buy coins from one of Coinsource’s ATMs. Or she can search for advertisers on Localbitcoins trading in NJ or CT.

It would be easier for her to wire you the money and you buy the coins in Europe or on an exchange.

i think you skepticism is fine and you just want to protect the forum-members but i really need it is real my sister and i am just asking for basic infos as its kind of hard to goolge this kind of stuff from europe ... i will check out some different wallets and maby you are right, and just getting the money from normal bank transfer and then buying btc in europe is the best option!?!

btw, how does localbitcoins exactly work and is it safe?

all others, feel free to give other infos!

thx.

If you’ll be dealing with digital payments for your bitcoin via LocalBitcoins, I highly suggest you research it carefully. I wrote the following thread regarding this issue, so give it a read (click on the quote title to view the thread in its entirety):

There is definitely a new wave of scammers and hackers on www.LocalBitcoins.com, and while I'm savvy when it comes to selling my Bitcoin, I am reluctantly (and shamefully) posting this to help others protect themselves from what I've gone through.

The last three transactions that I've conducted on LBC for digital trades (PayPal) have all had their payments reversed. The hackers/scammers are getting extremely creative, and starting to mimic the actions and character of authentic great traders...

With that said, if you don't feel like reading the rest of this post, take this away from it: TAKE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN SELLING YOUR BITCOIN FOR PAYPAL. In fact, consider not selling your Bitcoin for PayPal at all.

So with that, here is a quote of some advice I gave to another user; I thought it could help protect you. Yes, most of it is just common sense, but reminders could prove to be helpful. Don't let that trade request for someone buying bitcoin at 20% above market price cloud your judgment!

If you have any more questions outside of what I've posted below, feel free to post here or send me a private message.

I've had successful transfers, and I've had fraudulent transfers where the payments were reversed on my payment processing accounts.

Be extremely cautious when dealing with Bitcoin buyers via PayPal. I used to think that the payment was safe if sending as "Friends or Family" via PayPal, but I had a payment that was reversed because the PayPal account that was used to send me the funds for the Bitcoin I sold ended up being hacked. I actually had a conversation with the owner of the account (the hacker didn't have access to his mark's email address), and the dude got screwed for tens of thousands of dollars because of the PayPal hack.

LocalBitcoins.com is best for face-to-face meetups. Be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS when dealing with digital transfers or bank wires. Make sure to ask for documentation for EVERYTHING, and look out for the following things (as a seller):

  • 1. If the buyer is a new account, insist that they send you documentation to prove their identity and that they are who they say they are.
  • 2. If the buyer's account is verified, look through their feedback history to ensure that there are not any large gaps in between trades. If there are gaps, this could indicate that the buyer's account was purchased from the original owner (who may not have a need for their account any longer)
  • 3. Check their feedback history and sort it by "Negative" feedback. If any of the recent negative feedback pertains to a digital payment of any kind, avoid the trade at all costs, no matter how much above market price they are offering.
  • 4. Ask the buyer to provide you with their PayPal address, and that you will send them an invoice to that address for the amount that you've entered the trade for.
  • 5. Instruct the buyer to answer an email that you send to that address, or to send you an email from the email address of their PayPal account.
  • 6. Google the email address and see what pops up. If anything looks fishy, then avoid the trade. (example: the last time I initiated a trade with someone on LBC, the email address showed results for a 79-year old farmer from Georgia. Chances are that 79-year old farmers don't know anything about cryptocurrency...

I know that this sounds tedious, but trust me; it will help protect you in the end. Even if your trade is only for $100 or less, it would suck to be charged back or have a payment reversed for that $100... Protect yourself when dealing with digital payment options on LocalBitcoins.com

Additional tips from other members:

NEVER RELEASE BITCOINS FROM THE ESCROW BEFORE YOU RECEIVE YOUR PAYMENT.

Some traders will have what looks like a solid reputation: thousand over trades, huge volumes and great feedback. And they use that to try and bully you into releasing escrow right after they mark payment as complete. Do not ever do this. They might say "lol I trade for 5 years and people have no problems to do this" or try and make it seem they don't need your business but don't ever release escrow until you confirm payment. I have run into a few such people, and at least once I've come back across the same name, accused of never sending payment.
642  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Joe's Signatureless Challenge: Win $25 ($10 for 2nd) + 8 Merits every week! on: March 05, 2018, 05:47:03 PM

Edit:

I was just thinking, because there are signatures to be worn upon joining this challenge, shouldn't there be a small change in the title? As technically, it is no more a "signatureless challenge". So maybe some other title would fit in better. I don't have any name suggestions though, but I'm sure you guys can pull something out.
It is just a suggestion. It can be ignored without being thought about.

Technically, it’s a non-issue as those signatures are not a requirement, and are purely optional. They are just there to help bring more awareness about this challenge, not every participant will receive a reward for wearing it. Just the ones that place while wearing it.

Oh boy, I might as well just rename this thread to "nullius' donation thread" Cheesy
LOL Cheesy To offer a solution for the "problem" I created: you could in the future exclude people who earned more than 1 Merit per day already (the "natural rate" to level up with Activity). Or limit winning to once per person, based on the assumption that someone who wins one week, will keep posting quality the next week anyway.

Y'all are gonna shit your pants if one of our other participant's posts blow me away more than nullius's posts do this week, and ends up earning them the winning spot for Round 1 Grin

I mean, nullius has been pretty preoccupied spending the last week in a high school-like gossip and drama circle, whereas if this challenge would have started last week, his posts most certainly may have been outshined by any other participants' posts haha

Let's make things more interesting  Roll Eyes

I'm ready to sponsor a special award for guys that beat nullius for the first ..what the hell.... first, second, and third place.  Grin Grin Grin
So in case nullius finishes on 4th, I'll award 5$ (in BTC) to each competitor that makes the podium.

If nobody makes it this time it will go to the next round for the normal prizes

I am assuming that this will only be valid for the weeks that nullius is eligible for winning the first place prize, right? As it currently stands, the rules will reflect that a sole user can only win first place once every two week period.

These two sections are for serious discussion.

 - When you post, you must have a clear point. If you ramble on about nothing, then your post will be deleted.
 - You must stay fairly close to the topic being discussed in each thread.
 - While some amount of error is difficult to avoid, if your English is so broken that you sound stupid, then your post will be deleted.
- No advertising of any kind.
 - Signatures are not displayed.
 - You must be at least a Jr Member to post in Serious Discussion, and a Full Member to post in Ivory Tower.
 - Posts in Serious Discussion only activate a potential-activity period. They do not increase your post count.
 - Posts in Ivory Tower neither activate a potential-activity period nor increase your post count.

Repeated violations of the rules will result in you being banned from the forum as a whole.

Humor is OK as long as it has a point. Any topic of conversation is allowed here, including altcoin talk, except:

 - If you want a response from forum administration, meta talk goes in Meta.
 - Altcoin talk that is advertisement/pump is not allowed, since no advertisement is allowed here.
 - Stuff globally disallowed/restricted (eg. Investigations content) is not allowed.

If advertising of any kind is not allowed in this Serious discussion section, then why is there advertising on EVERY thread here?

Because the rules that were set forth for this section were created for members of the forum to follow; not for the forum itself to adhere to. It's meant to inform members that they cannot advertise anything, such as sales or personal websites or whatever, which is why signatures are disabled for this board. But it doesn't mean that forum advertisements should be removed. The board relies on payments from advertisements to pay for servers, bandwidth, and to remain operational. If the Serious discussion and Ivory Tower boards weren't monetized at all, would you pay a small subscription to be able to post here? Would you rather have a premium model? Because that would be the alternative to having the forum ads removed from these boards.

I personally don't have any issue with the ads that are displayed under the top post, and I don't feel that it's breaking any rules. Because, again, the rule is directed towards forum members, not staff and operations.
644  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Request : Bitcoin Vending machine for the poor ;-> on: March 05, 2018, 08:22:15 AM
This is too weird in every way.
Same idea can be done with fiat but no one does, simply because it's not conventional.

A regular vending machine that accepts Bitcoin doesn't even exist, where did you get the idea of a "charity version"?

Want to help the poor using Bitcoin?
Reach out to a charity foundation that does that and send them the funds, it wasn't that hard for anyone to sell Bitcoins for fiat or products.
It comes down to their credibility, if you trust them help them or advertise the foundation.

Or go to the forum's Lending Section and do the charity work. Tongue

I came here to say this.

I think that the idea behind an automated vending machine that live streams is cool and all, but it's all just bells and whistles that is a back-handed slap in the face of the poor. They will feel exploited and that they're for someone's amusement; like they have to dance to earn a treat. "Dance, monkey, dance!"

I'm sorry for taking such a negative tone regarding this idea, but I'm a humanitarian by nature, and feed over a hundred women and children at a food bank soup kitchen twice a week. These people only care about (a) feeding their children and (b) feeding themselves. The idea of having a vending machine where they have to "check in" and get approval somehow won't sit well with them.

If you REALLY want to help, there's no need to waste so much money in trying to adapt this technology and pay for servers and bandwidth to make this work. Just donate the bitcoin to the charity and watch them put your money to work. I, personally, will get a hell of a lot more satisfaction knowing that there won't be a starving child for an evening than having a cool machine that costs a lot to operate.

If you want to feel charitable and support a soup kitchen, then feel free to send me a message. The charity that I'm on the board of is 100% transparent with our finances, and we release quarterly and annual financial statements that detail every single dollar that comes in to and goes out of our bank account. I'll document your donation in its entirety and provide an update as to where every single dollar that you've donated has gone: how many pounds of rice, beans, carrots, potatoes, meat, gallons of water, etc. that has been provided to starving families on your behalf.

This "Bitcoin vending machine" idea is just gimmicky, and doesn't sit well with me.

Maybe a rule where the same member cannot win first place twice in a row, and a placement 3 times in a row? Then it would only be nullius donation thread every 2 out of 3 weeks  Tongue

For the first week anyway, I'll give 8 merits as well to the second place winner, as I have no doubt that nullius will win first week.

Great, thanks for helping to alleviate some of the merit responsibilities!

I think having stipulations such as not being able to rank consecutively would cause the loss of appeal to some participants. Although to keep it fair, I am thinking that the restriction may just be applied to the winning position. That way, everyone has a shot of winning the $20/25 prize at least every other week, and a shot at the $10 runner up prize with the same probability.

And who knows? Maybe one of the participants will surprise us all and end up topping my criteria for the week beating out nullius! It may be difficult but it is definitely not impossible!

So I’d like to hear everyone’s thoughts on the matter. I’m trying to keep this as fair as possible for every participant, not just nullius. Let’s hear your suggestions! But please try to keep it fair for me and bill gator, as well, as we are putting up our own personal money for this challenge.

As it stands, the challenge will continue, and I implore every participant to review nullius’s post history to see what I find to be stellar post quality. Let that inspire you! While I know that your technical knowledge may not be up to par, I’m more interested and impressed by his sentence structure and ability to contribute to the conversations without straying off topic or simply repeating what other posters have already stated.

Again, good luck to all, and I look forward to hearing your suggestions!

Q: Will Bitcoin make me rich? (asked by Walrus1 here)

You know what pal, the way I see it, the answer to this question depends entirely on what kind of person you are or how you live your life when you are not in the crypto world(poor or rich doesn't matter that much). This maybe hard to understand so let me explain it even further; You see my friend, doing signature campaigns or any other bounties/jobs that pay you in cryptos or bitcoins together with investing and trading is no different with jobs, businesses, investments or any other opportunities out there to earn some money. I mean, all of these are the same because anyone who wants to earn in any field(crypto related or not) must work hard and dedicate a lot of time studying and learning to have at least enough knowledge to be good at what he is doing and a lot more knowledge to excel from others and earn the same or higher than others. The only difference is see is that working in the crypto world lets you decide what day of the week and what time of the day you wanna work unlike other jobs that require you to work on specific days and times.

Look, the point is, bitcoins together with all the other altcoins out there are not the ones that make someone rich, what makes a person rich is himself. Meaning, if a person in real life is lazy, coward, and does not have the determination or actually put some hard work to change himself for the better, then he would most likely be a failure also in the crypto world. That is, if with the advantages that we can benefit from in the crypto world does not changes his mindset.

- Hope this helps clear up your mind Walrus1, good luck with your crypto ventures and good day.

You're basing your answer on the knowledge that you have of bounties and campaigns in regards to earning Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrency) as a reward for your participation. You have to realize, however, that the average person won't have any idea what those are, so your answer (while it's a good answer for anyone on these forums) won't make sense to someone who isn't that familiar with Bitcoin to begin with.

When a person asks me if Bitcoin will make them rich, they're usually referencing the price spike that they've recently witnessed. They're asking from a speculative point of view from their potential investments, not whether they can earn Bitcoin as a payment for a job or bounty.

Q: Is Bitcoin a scam? What about a Ponzi scheme?

Well, if you ask me, I will say that there is no right or wrong answer since bitcoin is something that has no physical assurance of some sort of its value nor a single situation that shows creators scamming anyone using or holding it. That being said, I see that the only enemy we have is ourselves
(which means how much knowledge we have about how bitcoins move (which is of course the fruit of our efforts in reading and studying about the past events on the crypto world) that influences how good we decide on when to buy or sell, and whether we let greed and other emotions get the best of us and cloud our decisions) and all the other people who uses this great technology Specially those who are holding massive amounts of bitcoins(whales as what people often call them). Because clearly, we cannot control them and make them hold if they wanna sell already or make them sell if you want to have the chance to buy bitcoins for lower prices.

Now, since a lot of people are too lazy to study, learn and understand even just a bit on how things work around here in the crypto world(not just with bitcoins alone) and jump into bitcoins just because they see huge amounts of price increases, they often end up losing a lot of capital since they do not know when is enough or they get carried away by greed because they think that bitcoins and other cryptos out there are tickets to a fast train to success. And guess what happens next? These people either learn the hard way or spread FUD all over the internet.

Yes it may look like a pyramiding scheme, but in my point of view, it isn't since it is as fair as it can get as long as you do your homework. And I am pretty sure that a lot of veterans out there will also agree with me on this.

hope this isn't too complicated and really does help other newbies out there.

(I sure hope that this thread existed back then when I was just starting out. It would've been a big help.)

I'm not sure I agree with your answer. You can't really say that there isn't a right or wrong answer... If Bitcoin is a scam, there should be irrefutable evidence or documentation proving that it was designed to scam people of their money. But because nobody people buy and sell Bitcoin on their own free will, and are not required to hold their positions (they can buy and sell at a profit or loss at any time they wish to), it's hardly definable as a scam. But calling ourselves (and whales) our own enemies of Bitcoin will only confuse them even more. That's not a term you should use when trying to address whether Bitcoin is a scam or not, lol.

Additionally, if you're going to reference a pyramid scheme, you have to further explain why Bitcoin is NOT a pyramid/ponzi, instead of just saying that it is not one.

Q: Who controls Bitcoin?
A: 1000 people control 40% of the total market. This includes: the maker of bitcoin, Chinese bitcoin farms, FBI, Satoshi Dice, individual millionaires and billionaires: Roger Ver, Charlie Shrem, Dave Carlson ...

Cheesy this isn't the answer I was looking for, but technically, you're right. They don't control Bitcoin itself, but they have a lot of influence on the price and value of it, based on their positions. When a newbie asks you who controls Bitcoin, you have to realize that they have no idea whether it's controlled by a bank, by a group of hackers, by a herd of cats, etc.

Nice initiative I must say. Unfortunately, I can't join this as I have recently joined a paid signature campaign run by yahoo, but I also want to contribute something to the cause. So maybe I can give 1 Merit (as per my capacity) per week to a runner up or winner on your direction. I will keep doing this until I run out of sMerits (I have 6 remaining right now).
Let me know if you are willing to accept my small contribution to your service.
Good luck, and keep up the good work, all of you!
Cheers.

Thank you for wanting to contribute, but I would rather you save your sMerit and merit posts that you find worthy, rather than donating them at this time. Maybe once you rank up and earn some more merits, you'd like to opt in to donate merits again? Let me know what you think

Nice initiative, although I think it's a bit ironic OP has a paid signature.
Kidding, we both know the ChipMixer signature is a badge of honor for post quality.

I was considering using my own signature from this thread, but I came to the same conclusion: the ChipMixer signature is a badge of honor and holds some of the best participants throughout the forums; thus I've decided to keep it.

From now on, I'll be on the lookout for signatures that say "I'm part of a movement to make the forums better.". If I agree with the quality of the post, I'll Merit it.

Can I sponsor a consolation prize of 2 Merit for the best Newbie or Jr. Member who doesn't get any other prize? I still have enough sMerit (and applied to become a Merit source a month ago). If I ever run out of sMerit, LoyceBot has 4 sMerit left so I can still cover 2 weeks before I have to withdraw my "sponsorship".

You can absolutely sponsor a consolation prize! I'll be sure to add the rank and reward to the top post, along with the stipulation that only Newbies & Jr. Members are eligible to win the consolation prize. Please just let me know whenever you run out of sMerit so that I can update the second post. Thanks for taking part in this and become a merit sponsor, LoyceV!

For anyone reading this, check out nullius' post history. THIS is what you're up against. If you guys don't step it up, you're going to lose every week to this fella.

But in all seriousness, I may honestly just create a separate "nullius" category and merit him that way in order to give others a chance to clean up their posts and/or contribute to a healthier forum. nullius hardly needs the merits, and will have no issues meeting the merit requirements for ranking up all the way to Legendary. The notion behind this challenge was to help reward members of the forums for creating more meritorious posts rather than shitposts and spamposts. I honestly don't know how I will approach this, as users may get discouraged from participating if they know that nullius will win week after week. I hope you don't take offense, nullius; consider it a compliment that the level of quality of your posts is so high that it worries me that others won't have a chance to win Cheesy

Do you support this cause?

If you would like to become a weekly sponsor to provide more slots for more signatureless winners, please post here or send me a PM.
If you would like to donate to this cause to help keep this challenge running as long as possible, please post here or send me a PM.
If you would like to become a Merit sponsor (so that I don't run the risk of expiring my sMerit), please post here or send me a PM.

I can redesign these signatures to look attractive.
Do you have any ideas/logo/colors ?Or let me use my style?

That would be dope! Since you're a sig designer, I'll leave the creativity up to you. Thanks for stepping up to do this; I wanted to keep it simple (I'm a fan of simple and effective methods), but yeah, my signatures are TOO simple Cheesy

Your signature design donation will definitely not go unnoticed.

Joe, I'm not promising when and how much I'll send but I'll surely do so at least once. Am sort of busy right now and in a month's time, after I get free and if this campaign is still running, I'd further provide help. I might send you some funds over tomorrow if possible, I still haven't decided how much.

No worries, and no pressure. Maybe a quick stroll through some of the participants post history for the week would prove to be fruitful in revealing some quality posts. Having a merit here and there means a lot for anyone who is trying to make a conscious effort to improve their posts. I'm anticipating that this challenge will be around for a long while, so take your time. Thanks so much for your interest and commitment!

Will a MetaMask wallet work for airdrops or should I only use MEW?

Any standard Ethereum address will work independently of the wallet, ledger or web that you use to generate it. Please be aware that exchange's addresses are not standard addresses and will most likely not accept any airdrop.

So, the answer is yes, if you create a new wallet with Metamask your public address will work to get airdops. Your public address will always start with "0x", never loose or give your private key to anyone.

Thanks for that, I really appreciate it, I just have so many questions so it's nice to get one answered Smiley

Post all of them on this section Smiley

If the questions aren't Bitcoin related, then no, do not post them all in this section. Post them all in this section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=67.0 (Altcoin Discussion)

I don't think merit is the best way.

I don't think this forum is for you.

zeref dragneel will never earn merit.  Ever.  I just left a neutral "shitposter" tag on his profile as well.  This supports my thesis that shitposters have no clue how bad their posts are, nor why they're not getting merits.  And dragboob here is getting put on ignore, which I would advise everyone to do.

If you plan on tagging all the shitposters, you've got a long long long long long long long long way to go, my friend. Cheesy

Sure it does.

Before the system, I really don't care that much. But since it started I'm beginning to understand what really is the goal of the system. And eventually I've realized that, many people do really have very very helpful thoughts, that may be based on facts or even opinions.

So, I've began to read more, and discover many topics that I've yet seen, with that I've known many members that really knows their thing. I mean people, I began to recognize those people and learn significant things from them. And these people deserve to gain Merit.

Some minor goals are to reduce spams and to know who really deserves to rank up. Because then, the rank is only for how long have you been active in the forum, but now with the System, the rank does matter.

You might also want to check this topic, if you're curious about the movement of Merits: 3 Merit Stat After a Month of Merit

I must say that taking a brief look at your post history proves that the merit system did, in fact, help you to change the demeanor in which you now post compared to before. Kudos to you for this! We need more members like you.

Either way, you've been accepted. It's a good thing that I'm not lazy. But I do hope that your posts are much better than your ability to follow instructions Tongue

We have an additional 5 merits for the first week winner, sponsored by @Geraldo!

That makes the upcoming amount of merit for the upcoming week's winner 13 in total! Good luck, everyone, and thank you very much, Geraldo. But let me ask you this: What will happen if you end up winning this challenge? Cheesy

Geraldo: One-Time Merit Sponsor
Geraldo has committed to rewarding the first week winner with 5 additional merit (reference)

Q: Why is Bitcoin so expensive? I can't afford a bitcoin.
A: In my own views bitcoin is so expensive now because of the limited supply and there is more demand especially from people who are currently investing bitcoin may have an impact in the price increase. I know most of the people can not afford with regards to the current price of bitcoin but I guess if you are interested to gain great profit, then you will have to make a way to invest even for a satoshi (decimal fraction of btc).

I like where you're going with this answer, but can you embellish a little bit more about the fractional part of Bitcoin? I find that when people ask me this question, it's (usually) because they don't understand that you can buy a fraction of a Bitcoin; they're not required to buy a whole Bitcoin to get their skin in the game.

Who will be updating the Excel sheet? Can you pleas include me.

Also end post count do we need to submit the post end posts count also?

I will be updating the spreadsheet. You can view the live updates as I add all the entries, especially on the evenings that I go through the list to verify each of the participant's posts. You will not need to submit your end of period post counts; I will do tally them up at the end of each week.

I have added you to the spreadsheet. Welcome to the challenge, and good luck!

Oooh! I'll also help Cheesy Another runner up award? Or a third prize? Or merits as an additional incentive alongside that one merit? I'll gladly do it. If you need me to send some cash as prizes, I'll send tomorrow itself, and you yourself can reward the winners.

Great! I'm so glad to see so many members of the forums stepping up to band together for the greater good of the forums Cheesy It's completely up to you, but please keep in mind that this is not an easy commitment. Unless you're speaking about making a one-time sponsorship; otherwise, I'd be willing to accept any form of donations towards this cause. Whatever is comfortable for you. Thanks!

Provided I still have the merit at the time I can donate one sMerit if to "fund" the project. I would have done so yesterday on the time of my application but I didn't have any spendable merits at the time (didn't expect to get merited thrice on what was essentially mu first day posting Tongue)

I would rather you save your sMerit for other posts and utilize this challenge as a way to earn Smiley Welcome to the forums, and I really hope that you learn something great here regularly. I'm anticipating reviewing all your posts to see what type of great content that you can produce; can't wait!

Wooow...did you see all? The effect of this challenge. So glad to be a part of this challenge. Good job Joe!

Thank you very much! Please update your signature; I made the mistake of not including the hyperlink to the signature that you're currently using.

Oh yeah, it is the signature, right, I thought it was a signatureless campaign anyways it looks like I dot eve have to take back my application as it already been denied because the respective signature is absent. Anyways keep up the good work BTCforJoe. If I had some sMerits I could have supported the project by giving merits if by chance you run low on the merits but I currently have zero. Will ping you if I have smerits to fund for the project.

That is correct; this signatureless challenge is reliant upon you removing your paid campaign signature in order to register for this contest. You're not permanently declined; just until you decide to remove your current paid campaign signature Smiley

Thanks for the compliments and encouragement; as you can see, I'm not the only one that is tired of shitposters and horrible content throughout the forums. I'm just trying to do my part in helping give back to the place that has made me so proficient in my knowledge of Bitcoin.

Hopefully, this initiative would boost the morale of the people here in the forum and the members would contribute more towards giving quality posts ( Including me). Smiley

Declined. Maybe you should go back and read the first post again so you can figure out why you were not accepted for this challenge. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt, but 15 minutes is more than enough time for you to remove/change your signature. Please re-apply when you figure out how to follow instructions.

Nah only unless you guys really want it. I have a negative association with auto buy, so I assumed you guys did too

Please don't listen to him. I never purchase anything via autobuy links. I like having the personal service and dialogue with someone before I purchase anything. If a buyer can't wait a few hours to buy what they need, then you probably don't want that type of buyer in the first place. You respond fairly quickly, so you should be okay with not having an autobuy link.

For the record, I'm still waiting for the programs to update so I can post all the screenshots. Living on a tropical island has its perks, but it also has its downsides; internet speeds being one of them.
