The Warriors will be playing again tomorrow against the team that handed the Celtics and Nuggets their first loss. They are currently at -2, and I'm not sure if this spread appeals to you because if they win, they can easily cover it. However, considering the size of the Wolves, they are quite bigger than the Cavaliers with Gobert and KAT playing together, so we might see the same problem the Warriors showed on their game today.
I lost my bet on the Warriors vs. Cavaliers game, but I'm definitely backing them once again. Hopefully, Draymond won't make any mistakes that result in him being thrown out of the game. The Warriors are currently on a 2-game losing streak, and I feel they may come back to win this one. Yes, the size of the Wolves might bother the Warriors again, but as long as they improve their outside shooting, they have a chance to win.

Curry needs some help from the other known scorers of the team—Kuminga, Thompson, and Wiggins, especially Wiggins. He must step up and score at least 20 points, and he can do that by using his athleticism. They can't afford to lose again this time.

Payment for week 85 is still pending, sorry for the inconvenience ):
Sometime I forgot whether I already receive the payment or not Cheesy

I still can accept when the delay isn't too long, so not really a problem, other user might has a different opinion.

Make sure it's not delay more than a week, just a friendly reminder. Smiley

I don't have any issues because they are paying, and delays are not a problem for me. Sometimes, the payment arrives in the same week, and based on my accounting, payments are made in full so far, occasionally with just a small delay, which is not a big deal.

The Warriors and Cavaliers are currently facing off. The first quarter has been good; it's a high-scoring game, making it enjoyable, especially since it's also a close match. It's time to show the fans that the Warriors aren't afraid of the length of the Cavaliers, and the best way to prove that is by avenging their loss on the road at the Cavaliers' home court.

With Green and Payton back, the team now has a complete and healthy lineup. They should take care of business well.

Unfortunately, things didn't go as expected. The Warriors had a tough second quarter, being outscored by 17 points after leading by just 1 in the first quarter. Now, it's time to continue supporting them. They are at -4.5 in the 3rd quarter, and considering the Warriors are typically a strong 3rd quarter team, I'm betting on them in the hope that they'll narrow the lead to single digits going into the 4th quarter.

The Warriors had a big run at the start of the 3rd quarter, but now, Draymond has been ejected from the game. I'm not sure if the Warriors can still pull off a win. They might have won the 3rd quarter, but they still have 12 minutes in the last quarter where Draymond's energy and defense are crucial. Unfortunately, they're going to miss that. Now, everyone needs to step up, especially on the defensive end.

I'm glad I followed what my instincts were telling me; that win in the 3rd quarter saved my losing bet on the entire game. Overall, I'm still in profit as all the games have concluded. The Warriors need to improve their outside shooting because the Cavaliers have been capitalizing on points in the paint.

The 3rd quarter was the easiest; I thought they would continue the momentum in the 4th.

Some bad news for the Sixers… Kelly Oubre Jr. was hit by a car near his house in Philadelphia on Saturday night. I can’t remember an NBA player getting hit by a car before… The circumstances haven’t been told yet to my knowledge, but let us hope it was just a freak accident and not something much more sinister. I hope he gets well quickly.

He is okay now, as reported he was already out from the hospital

Sixers forward Kelly Oubre Jr. has been released from the hospital after being struck by a car Saturday night in Center City.

645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a gambler be a good bitcoin trader? on: November 12, 2023, 02:07:28 AM
That's difficult to achieve because labeling someone as a gambler implies they are very active in gambling. Trading requires focus, and it's challenging to find success if time is not fully dedicated to trading.

With numerous games on a daily basis, a gambler might be too engrossed in gambling. It's crucial to choose one path for success, that is either become a successful trader or a successful gambler. Perhaps one can be a successful trader if gambling is pursued purely for fun.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 11, 2023, 02:13:18 PM
Okay, so for tomorrow's games, I'm eyeing two expected entertaining matchups.

1- Bucks vs. Magic: The Bucks might still be without Lillard, facing the home team Magic who are currently on a 2-game losing streak. The Bucks recently lost to the Pacers; will they bounce back with a win here? I'm leaning towards the Magic, but with points handicap +3.5.

To make it more interesting, I will go with the Magic at ML, it's very attractive, @2.41. I think the Bucks are going to still struggle if Lillard is not going to play. Giannis has a monster game, but not enough as no one help him to carry the load. And with the Magic playing at home, I think there could be a chance that they might steal one in a very close game.
I appreciate your confidence in the Magic. They are the desperate team in this situation. While the Bucks typically attract bets due to their reputation, the -3.5 spread might make people lean towards them automatically. It's tough to follow the public consensus all the time; sometimes, we need to deviate. I see value in the Magic winning here, but I'm playing it a bit safer with my bet. Here's hoping we both win our bets.

2- Warriors vs. Cleveland: Curry and his teammates fell to Mitchell and company on November 3rd. Will they bounce back strong as they play at home? Well, I guess it's a no-brainer; taking the -3.5 Warriors is the easy call here.

I'm taking -2.5 as a conservative beat, @1.74 I think that is good enough for me. Curry will have to lead the Warriors though, but they are have a good record at Chase center, so I wouldn't be surprised if they can win by at least 5 points, but just like I said, just a conservative handicap at -2.5 is still good for me at that odds.

Good luck to us, I'm thinking if Warriors would bounce back strong, they could win by double digit here, so either way both speads are covered easily.

Actually Cleveland has a bad ATS road record, they are only 1-3.

648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Must Read: Scams disguised as premium signal groups/channel on: November 10, 2023, 09:41:26 PM
Unfortunately, the world revolves with money right now. If you don't have the capability to pay, you will never received good ideas or strategies that will help you maximize the profits of your investment. However, with the existence of paid channels these days, I cannot say generally that they are into scams. Some are actually just trying to use their channels at an advantage to provide helpful tips and ideas in exchange for money to improve trading and be successful on it. Some are really reliable but majority are already driven with greed and end up scamming the people while trying to market their strategies in exchange for money.

And those who are greedy and are already hunger for profits will eventually bite this kind of offer. But still end up losing their trades because what they paid do not really work, even if they say that work for those who provided them.
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not perfect, and that's okay. on: November 10, 2023, 08:50:05 PM

If someone says that Bitcoin is used for illegal things, we should really look at the bigger picture. Human intention, not intrinsic qualities, determines the use or misuse of all tools and technologies. Why is Bitcoin often singled out? Maybe a fear of the unknown or reluctance to adopt a system beyond customary controls?

Strictly speaking, it is due to human behavior, and no property or product is created solely for illegal or criminal use.  but we also need to admit that the decentralized and anonymous nature of bitcoin makes criminals prefer bitcoin because if they use bitcoin, it will be very difficult for the government and the law to track them.  but bitcoin was created to bring privacy, creating financial freedom for everyone, not just criminals.  and crime still exists today, it's the government's fault and no one else's.
Illegal activities have been rampant already even before the inception of bitcoin so its obvious that even with fiat alone, committing crimes has already become a norm. But since the government  is here to protect their fiat, so the people have no right to complain about fiat. But with the existence of bitcoin that becomes a threat to fiat and its government due to its decentralization nature, the government has find a good reason to put all the blame in bitcoin.

In reality, bitcoin is just a tool and it has no capabilities to manipulate the people to do illegal activities. But with greed that has motivated the people to behave illegally, then that could be the big reason why these type of people have resort into making illicit activities because they have taken advantage on the anonymous nature of bitcoin and use it on its wrong purposes.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 10, 2023, 03:42:24 PM
The line opened at Bucks -3.5 a few days before the game and by the time the game started had moved all the way to Bucks -1.5. Looks like lots of money came in on the Pacers.

I would agree that lots of money came in on the Pacers if Lillard did play. I think the main reason why the line moved was because Lillard was announced unavailable in that game, so bookmakers adjusted the spread. The Bucks at -1.5 is still very attractive to bettors even without Lillard, so I guess it's the public play. Therefore, I think the public lost their bets on that game.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: November 10, 2023, 12:01:05 PM
As for the long training time of Tapales which runs for more than 4 months and sparring high-level fighters in the very first month are very unusual. Normal fighters train between 2 to 3 months. They start light, go hardcore, and sparring is part of the final stages when the body is nearing its peak. Most fighters who overtrained in the past lost their fights which is why it is uncommon nowadays to have very long camps. But we'll see how this goes. I am somehow hoping for Tapales to show something big in this fight.

Tapales is pushing himself to train harder than his usual routine, and we can't blame him for it. He's going up against the best in the world in that division, and even though he's a champion himself, people see Inoue as more dominant. So, Tapales has to prove them wrong and earn the respect he deserves.

It's good to hear that Tapales is pushing himself very hard in training. That is the sign that he wanted to really show that he is the one that will give Inoue the lost. And we like that kind of mindset for a boxer and I think they all learn it from the great Manny Pacman Pacquiao. I mean you could have all the talent in the world, but if you don't put your ass off and train hard, you will end up for nothing.

He wants to win, so he has no choice but to train hard, especially since Inoue isn't an ordinary fighter—he's called 'The Beast' for a reason. Inoue is also training hard for this unification fight; it's a big bout for him, and success here will be added to his resume. As we all know, Inoue could make history if he keeps winning championships in every division he climbs to.

Moreover, if Tapales were to win this fight, he would bring honor to the Philippines, and people might start thinking of him as the next Pacman. Just imagine, a pound-for-pound top fighter falling at the hands of a Filipino underdog champion. That would certainly grab major attention once the news gets out. But for that to happen, Tapales needs to ensure he scores a massive upset win here.

Definitely, I don't think that the Philippines has a reigning world champion except himself at this time. So he needs to continue and fight and should be retaining that belt at all cost as he doesn't want to earn the year without any Filipino champion. He needs to sacrifice more to continue the Filipino tradition and follow the path of Manny and other great champion before him.

If the fight between Ancajas and Inoue wasn't postponed, we could probably have another champion. Now we only have one, and there's a risk of losing it if he can't beat Inoue's style. Hopefully, he will win, but I don't expect a lot though.
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What impact does the BTC price have on your gambling habits? on: November 10, 2023, 11:28:17 AM
Dear fellow gamblers, as title topic said, I have a question/survey for you!

What impact does the BTC price have on your play (gambling both in casino/sports betting/binary options etc)?

Did you play more? Did you play less? Any thought or opinion on that?
Feel free to add your answer on my survey

I would be fine regardless of the price of Bitcoin because when I'm gambling, I separate my Bitcoin for that purpose only, and the rest is for investment.

However, recently, the transaction fees have been very high, so it has a big impact on me. I can't gamble anytime I want; I just have to wait until the transaction fees become more affordable. As of now, it's still not affordable, with transaction fees as high as $5. I'm not a high roller, so this really affects me.
653  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes to watch out for on: November 09, 2023, 09:59:25 PM
Mistakes are actually normal. Even a skillful and professional trader still creates mistakes in trading. But the important thing here is that once you have committed a mistake that made you lose your trades, then make sure that you learned from that mistake and that you are not going to repeat the same mistake again. Mistakes should be an eye opener for us, and from there, we should learn to be more motivated to improve our craft so as to avoid some inevitable mistakes that could lead up into losses.

I'd say controlling our emotions in trading could be the hardest part when trading. But with practice and consistent trading, we learn to overcome our strong emotions until the time comes that we can easily set aside our emotions when we are trading. That way, success becomes more visible as long as you also know how to timing your trades with the market's condition.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hot take: Your crypto portfolio should have more than just Bitcoin. on: November 09, 2023, 08:36:00 PM
If you analyze it closely, diversifying your portfolio is actually a good choice. But if you mean investing into altcoins who are more risky than bitcoin, then I don't think that will give you more profits aside from bitcoin. In reality, that will only make you more capable to losses since altcoins are more on a pump and dump scheme, today their prices are high but after today, some have suddenly end up with zero value and that's how volatile and unpredictable altcoins are.

However, if you focus on bitcoin which is the lifeblood of the crypto market, you will have more control of your portfolio because you know the high potentials of bitcoin that even it gets dump, it will recover again eventually. If you really want to maximize your profits, then do DCA so that the volume of your bitcoin will increase, and not exactly that you will mixed up your portfolio with altcoins which you don't know actually if they can sustain the market for long or they'll just good at first and eventually lose their value in the long run.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: November 09, 2023, 01:18:34 PM
Yes, odds aren't available yet but i'm guessing, Northport and NLEX would be the favorites to win in their respective games.

Northport might be the favorite, but when it comes to NLEX against Phoenix, I'm not so sure. Phoenix is a solid team, although they might not be as strong as SMB and Ginebra. I was actually planning to place some bets on the PBA and NBA, but there's a hitch—I don't feel like withdrawing my Bitcoin right now because of the high transaction fees.

What about you guys? What alternatives are you exploring at this time?

No Draymond tonight for the Warriors as they take on the Denver Nuggets. Given the already large size difference between the teams I think this will be problematic for the Warriors. Jokic should have himself quite a night. Draymond isn’t injured or anything as he’s listed as being out for personal reasons. Still, the Nuggets should easily get this win. We’ll see…

That indeed went down to the wire, It wasn't by any means an easy win for Denver Nuggets, Steve Kerr's warriors started with Saric and Looney the only two big available for the Warriors I believe that's to limit the effect Nikola Jokic, but there was just no way to stop the Joker, but then the Warriors huge squad depth despite missing a number guys that help out defensively like GP II and Draymond, while Curry was not at his usual best too, the Wiggins and Chris Paul playing below par, the Warriors still showed huge level of competitiveness.

Murray was out too, so Nuggets are also undermanned, if Murray wasn't injured, Nuggets could easily dominate the Warriors in that game IMO. overall, it was a very entertaining game, Curry was quite limited in this game due to the good defense of the Nuggets but it's a winnable game for them, they just made some bad decision down the stretch.

BTW, Murray is out for 3-4 weeks with  hamstring injury according to report, but it looks like Nuggets are still a very strong team.

https://www.nba.com/news/jamal-murray-hamstring-injury

For the Nuggets Reggie Jackson is really proving to be a great asset right now for the team.

This guy is always been an underrated player, with the Nuggets which is playing like a real team, I believe Jackson would be a big help in the playoffs, like KCP.
658  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Never say your recovery seed or private key out loud! on: November 08, 2023, 09:55:40 PM
What's the purpose in the first place if you intentionally say out loud about your private keys? Because if you aim to get the attention of other people, then surely you will succeed that's why hackers are now sighting on you as their new target. And because of that, you are damn fool because you are trying to put yourself and your own investment in danger, and whoever does that is not actually having the right thinking.

Instead, learn to live lowkey and respect your own privacy. The word private keys means that you only have to keep and deal it with yourself and not to be advertised to other people even your closest family and friends. That is the key to your own investment, and anyone who might accidentally knows it too wil sure to deprive you later on the full control of your wallet and investment.
659  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it Hold? BTC Targets $40,000 on: November 08, 2023, 08:58:40 PM
Bitcoin is currently priced at $35,630 so reaching its $40k new price resistance may seem to be a piece of cake for bitcoin. Most especially that the market is looking forward for big events in the next months, then I must say as long as the market remains to be in a positive position, then we have no reason to expect that bitcoin price will be compromised again. However, the market is still unpredictable and it does not mean that if bitcoin is currently in a positive position at the moment, then its price will continue to soar high without chances of dropping.

That's why volatility is here. People should not be too confident that whatever they see at the moment is now fixed and will never be susceptible to changes. Of course, this is not possible. As long as volatility is highly encouraged, then we can always speculate for another price drop next to the price surging on bitcoin. But it also depends if the positive factors will continue to affect the market positively, then we might be seeing a new all time high for bitcoin as early before this year ends.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and misinformation on: November 08, 2023, 07:58:35 PM
Bitcoin as the father of all cryptocurrency have hard it ups and down since it came into existence, but what I observe lately is the misinformation about Bitcoin that got me worried like in this time and age, people still take Bitcoin as a scam.

I wouldn't deny that in my early days of investment, I really was unconvinced by the presentation i had about Bitcoin, which I took it as one of these fraudster trying to milk the general public as mmm did, but with time, after doing some research and finding I discovered how misinformed I was about it.

Right now most people are like me years back, they are totally misinformed about Bitcoin, the best I do for them right now is to educate them about it, which some even told me what they think Bitcoin was, which is totally untrue about it.
but in as much as am trying to share knowledge about Bitcoin to those who lack it, I don't try to force it on anyone so they won't see me as a scam.

Education is always the key. A lot of us have been claiming that bitcoin is like this or like that, and that its a get-rich quick thing, and it turned out that everything we believe about bitcoin are not actually the facts since we never get the chance to do due diligence to research since we only rely on information coming from youtubers who have nothing to do but to hype bitcoin or to attack bitcoin negatively.

This was exactly like me way back before. However, when I enter the bitcointalk forum, I realized that I've been living with lies on bitcoin and maybe that's the reason that I fail to appreciate it. Bitcoin is the key to experience freedom from the shadows of the government. Bitcoin is our future. And with its decentralized blockchain, it's giving us the opportunity to use and invest bitcoin freely without the interruption of the government or from any third party or group.
